00:00:33.700 Hello, everybody. Welcome to The Great America Show. Great to have you with us.

00:00:37.080 I'm John Fawcett in for Lou Dobbs.

00:00:39.560 Well, the first debate is in the books.

00:00:41.400 The CNN debate kicked off on Thursday night and it was it was all what we expected.

00:00:45.640 Joe Biden, a total mess. Donald Trump showed up dominant better than we could have ever expected.

00:00:52.460 To take all this up, we asked preeminent pollster and Republican strategist John McLaughlin to join us today.

00:00:58.880 John, it's great to have you with us.

00:01:00.580 It took only 12 minutes for Trump to break Biden before he went on to his first tirade, got confused, lost.

00:01:08.560 And then finally, Jake Tapper bailed him out. What do you make of it?

00:01:11.420 Well, you know, when you think about it, we released a poll right before national poll, right before the debate that came out the day before, actually, where Trump was leading Biden in our poll 4644.

00:01:26.240 He's been leading him in the national popular vote since 20, since September of 2021.

00:01:33.400 And this was a this was a debate that Biden had to try to reestablish himself as a viable candidate for president.

00:01:43.100 So he agreed to a debate that CNN would be the venue.

00:01:47.260 We had no choice. It was all at Biden's, you know, it was his kind of gamble.

00:01:52.020 He set it up. We would have CNN pick the moderators.

00:01:56.160 And so you had, you know, Dana Bash and Jake Tapper, who long history being biased against President Trump.

00:02:03.340 And, you know, they barred RFK because that would have been unfair.

00:02:07.180 You would have four liberals attacking Trump instead of three liberals.

00:02:10.980 But, you know, and Trump, the mic, they could cut him off.

00:02:14.360 So no audience. So it was all to Biden's benefit.

00:02:20.560 And ultimately, you got a better debate in that.

00:02:24.040 You know, you have to give credit to Bash and Tapper.

00:02:26.820 They ask questions because like when our survey was published, when we ask people the first or second issue, first or second choice for issues, they'd want to have asked.

00:02:36.800 Inflation was the number one answer, 49 percent.

00:02:40.340 That was their first question.

00:02:41.860 31 percent said the borders and, you know, immigration.

00:02:46.480 Another 21 percent said economy and jobs.

00:02:49.200 16 percent Social Security, Medicare.

00:02:51.420 So they really asked about those issues.

00:02:53.380 Only 15 percent asked about January 6th and defending democracy.

00:02:59.100 And only 15 percent, first or second choice, asked about abortion.

00:03:02.760 But they got those in there, too.

00:03:04.080 And, you know, but President Trump was sharp.

00:03:08.300 He was in command of facts and figures.

00:03:11.320 And he's been disciplined.

00:03:12.820 You know, when you think of everything that Donald Trump has endured over the past couple of years or even while he was president with the impeachments, the fake impeachments, you know, they're trying to take away his wealth.

00:03:25.280 Last year was the indictments.

00:03:26.960 The only crime that Trump committed was he's ahead in the polls.

00:03:29.660 This year, they had a, you know, fake trial in New York where, you know, they rigged it up so that, you know, Manhattan jury on charges.

00:03:39.280 No one's ever been charged or convicted over in Manhattan.

00:03:41.520 You know, they said he was guilty, but it wasn't a fair trial.

00:03:47.740 And then, you know, the bad part for Trump now is he's still ahead in the polls, all the battleground states, national vote.

00:03:54.980 But if he stays ahead after July 4th, this Judge Marshawn, whose daughter is one of the leading political consultants for Joe Biden, he could end up putting Donald Trump in Rikers Island.

00:04:06.320 I mean, it's just it's just surreal what's going on right now.

00:04:10.140 You know, before we get into your poll and we're going to get into that monthly the M&A poll that you do every month.

00:04:14.680 You know, why did nobody find it strange that we're now out of COVID, right?

00:04:21.460 There's no more masks, no more mask mandates, no more social distancing.

00:04:25.120 Why didn't nobody think it was odd that we had a presidential debate with no audience?

00:04:30.140 Right.

00:04:30.520 The spin room had to be completely away from everybody.

00:04:33.140 They weren't allowed to listen to anything.

00:04:34.660 Nobody was allowed to hear anything.

00:04:36.480 Two breaks.

00:04:37.900 Why didn't nobody think that was that was odd going into this?

00:04:40.700 You know, you didn't hear anything from from the mainstream media, from the right of center media.

00:04:45.540 Nobody thought that this was strange at all.

00:04:48.560 Well, I think two reasons.

00:04:49.480 One is they want the event.

00:04:50.860 They want the debate to be able to talk about.

00:04:54.780 Secondly, is there's a bias in favor of Joe Biden that, you know, Donald Trump.

00:04:59.920 I mean, you know, today the Democrats are in panic.

00:05:03.140 They want to replace Biden.

00:05:04.600 It's not that his policies are wrong, whether it's inflation being high,

00:05:08.540 whether it's the border being open.

00:05:11.280 You have all these murders across the country of these criminals coming into the country. 1.00

00:05:15.820 And then they're not saying shut the border.

00:05:18.440 You know, they're they're they're not talking about ending the war in Ukraine and Gaza.

00:05:23.220 You know, on our terms of being strong, they're not talking about fighting crime and keeping criminals in jail.

00:05:29.200 I mean, so there's a bias in the media that they favor Joe Biden because they like his policies.

00:05:36.960 I mean, it's an exploitation of the middle class in America.

00:05:39.760 I mean, it's unbelievable there.

00:05:41.480 They've been inflation lowers our standard of living.

00:05:44.620 People are getting crushed where they can't get ahead.

00:05:48.100 You go to the supermarket, you pay for gas.

00:05:50.660 It's still much higher than when Donald Trump was president.

00:05:52.860 And you don't feel safe in our communities anymore.

00:05:55.860 And they want non-citizens to be able to vote. 0.88

00:05:58.840 So, you know, so there the policies are wrong and then the media kind of goes along.

00:06:04.800 And so nobody said anything about those rules or anything.

00:06:07.140 Because I think they were hoping that Biden would carry it off like he did, you know,

00:06:11.260 the State of the Union address where it wasn't good.

00:06:14.160 It's divisive and nasty.

00:06:16.000 But, you know, it helped him secure his nomination that he didn't lose primaries.

00:06:21.140 Well, you thought after a week of preparation, Lockton Camp David, which we've also never seen that before.

00:06:28.060 I'm not sure the prep that Donald Trump did, but I'm pretty sure it was minimal to know because, you know,

00:06:33.000 he knows everything he did for this country.

00:06:34.760 He knows, you know, what he's going to do for this country.

00:06:36.960 He knows, I think, where he went wrong in the first term and where he'll fix that up.

00:06:41.760 And most of it is just simple personnel issues.

00:06:44.360 You know, his policies were great for everybody.

00:06:46.880 And nobody, you know, nobody can discount that.

00:06:49.360 But in your poll this month, 68 percent of people say the country is on the wrong track.

00:06:55.540 Joe Biden was asked about it last night.

00:06:57.000 What did you what have you done for the black community?

00:06:58.900 What have you done for the Hispanic community?

00:07:00.580 He couldn't answer.

00:07:02.180 And when they asked him, you know, his simple answer was, you know, we can do better.

00:07:06.620 We can do better.

00:07:07.260 Well, what have you done?

00:07:08.160 You've you know, you've had three and a half years.

00:07:10.660 What have you done for the black community?

00:07:12.620 What have you done for the Hispanic community?

00:07:14.600 He had no response.

00:07:15.600 You're right about that.

00:07:17.280 And it's like a lot of the questions that he had there.

00:07:19.920 And in contrast, Donald Trump is focused.

00:07:22.820 He wants to be a better president.

00:07:24.260 He's determined to be a better president.

00:07:26.520 He wants to he wants to see our country succeed.

00:07:29.420 You've got a glimpse of Donald Trump's character towards the end of the debate when he said he didn't want to run again.

00:07:35.360 He said he'd rather not.

00:07:37.340 But he just seen what Biden's done to the country.

00:07:40.900 And in Trump's words, he's the worst president in the history of the United States.

00:07:45.660 He felt compelled that he has to he has to, you know, run again and put the right policies back in place.

00:07:51.920 I mean, you know, it was amazing.

00:07:54.300 Biden was running last night on a pledge to raise taxes.

00:07:58.220 He wants to let the tax cuts expire that would put the country in a recession, if not a depression.

00:08:06.400 And he's so Biden is taking a page out of Walter Mondale's book for 1984 and running on a massive tax increase that didn't work well in 84.

00:08:15.980 It's not going to work well this year.

00:08:17.860 And Trump, he wants to grow the economy.

00:08:20.740 And Trump was very specific about revenues going up, about economic growth, about what he wants to do for the country.

00:08:27.120 And tariffs, too.

00:08:28.860 You know, Trump put these massive tariffs on China because China was taking advantage of America and no president has ever done it before.

00:08:35.040 And Biden could not answer the simple question.

00:08:37.280 Why haven't you removed the tariffs?

00:08:38.600 If tariffs are so bad and when Trump gets back in, he pledged that he would he wants to he wants to cut, you know, income tax and maybe raise tariffs on other countries on imports.

00:08:48.600 If they were so bad and they're going to they're going to send this country into a recession, why has he left the China tariffs on?

00:08:55.420 It's very it's very, very simple.

00:08:57.680 Yeah. And by the way, in our national poll that we had out before the debate, 62 to 27 percent, all voters approve of no federal income taxes on tips.

00:09:08.120 That's that's the Trump proposal to help working people to help.

00:09:11.800 You know, it's like amazing.

00:09:14.100 It's it's just Biden.

00:09:15.680 You know, he wants to tax everybody who's a who's working for a living. 0.99

00:09:20.540 And then he wants to give illegal immigrants handouts.

00:09:23.660 So, you know, so it's it's it's a real stark, clear choice on policy.

00:09:29.900 And that's what you know, that was a great benefit to President Trump last night in the debate.

00:09:35.000 And he really he really did it well and defended it well.

00:09:38.020 And Biden comes back and says, oh, it's not true.

00:09:40.540 It's misinformation, disinformation.

00:09:42.000 And I tell you, the line of the night was when Donald Trump hit him and he says, you know, I don't know what you're talking about.

00:09:49.000 I'm not sure you know what you're talking about.

00:09:51.360 So it wasn't only on that.

00:09:54.460 He lied about you can go down the list of what he lied about.

00:09:58.060 No troops killed under his administration.

00:09:59.940 What happened to the 13 innocent soldiers who were killed?

00:10:02.680 How about the two Navy SEALs earlier this year killed?

00:10:06.440 And how about the four in Jordan?

00:10:08.600 I mean, every word out of his mouth is a lie.

00:10:11.340 And then his wife, the first lady, has the audacity to go out to a rally or whatever it was, a watch party. 0.99

00:10:17.420 I don't know. I'm not sure what it was.

00:10:19.020 And say, you know, husband, you did a great job.

00:10:22.540 You were excellent.

00:10:23.700 The only thing Donald Trump did was lie.

00:10:26.360 I mean, it's it's just it's unbelievable that that we see this.

00:10:31.120 So in your poll, you do an opinion poll every month on the favorability for each candidate.

00:10:38.820 What have you got for Joe Biden?

00:10:40.120 What have you got for Kamala Harris and what have you got for Donald Trump?

00:10:43.220 Well, we actually tracked the incumbents.

00:10:46.380 So we've got President Biden's job approval in there.

00:10:51.220 And he's a 41 approved, 57 disapproved.

00:10:54.900 The important thing about this debate was, although Trump's ahead in the national polls and there's about 10 percent of the voters that are undecided,

00:11:02.920 you have 14 percent that disapprove of the job that Joe Biden's doing that are not yet voting for Donald Trump.

00:11:09.740 So there's more votes for us to go get.

00:11:11.680 They're waiting to see.

00:11:12.760 And what they saw last night should help many to make the decision that they have to vote for Donald Trump.

00:11:17.980 And, you know, the CNN, they did their own panel survey of people online after it.

00:11:25.060 And the people that watch, they said Trump won that two to one.

00:11:28.560 Kamala Harris, by the way, Trump beats her even more than better than Joe Biden.

00:11:33.460 She's the one thing about her is she's she's basically impeachment insurance. 1.00

00:11:38.580 As long as she's around, Biden won't get impeached.

00:11:41.260 But and and as far as President Trump goes, his numbers have improved.

00:11:47.040 But we really haven't tracked his job approval because he's not president anymore.

00:11:50.840 So but most voters, what I've seen in polls, most voters think he did a good job as president.

00:11:56.500 He has a positive job approval and people, the majority voters approve his policies.

00:12:02.480 But Joe Biden, who used to be somewhat liked, is now, you know, his favorable rating is only 42 percent.

00:12:11.320 Just as unfavorable as 56. So it really matches up to his job approval.

00:12:16.020 So, you know, people want a president who's going to do something for them.

00:12:20.340 It's really not about the personalities of of Joe Biden or Donald Trump.

00:12:25.040 We've got severe problems in this country.

00:12:27.240 They think the economy is going to get worse.

00:12:28.760 Sixty two to thirty one. Eighty four percent, but negatively impacted by inflation.

00:12:33.400 Forty nine percent of all Americans to the point where they can't afford basic necessities.

00:12:38.640 You know, you have. And by the way, with these prosecutions, Donald Trump, 62 percent of all voters agree that if they could Joe Biden can do that to Donald Trump, he can do it to any American.

00:12:50.240 So they've got big problems and they want to feel you know, they want to go back to peace and prosperity.

00:12:56.780 They want to feel safe in their communities. They want their dollar to be worth something.

00:13:01.160 They want an end to inflation. They want to be able to afford to buy a new car, to buy a home, to basically be able to pay their bills without having to worry how they're going to get through to the next month.

00:13:11.700 And that's what Donald Trump was speaking about last night. And Joe, it's just missing the point.

00:13:17.740 You know, it's it's even in 2016 when when Donald Trump debated Hillary Clinton.

00:13:22.120 Right. They were on rough grounds. They came out. I think they shook hands. Right.

00:13:26.380 This time around, it seems that Trump has just had enough.

00:13:31.440 You know, you hear people on the left, CNN last night, you know, melting down.

00:13:36.040 Van Jones about to cry. Friedman from The New York Times today said he wept after after watching it.

00:13:42.640 And, you know, you hear Republicans. Laura Trump was on Fox News after it.

00:13:46.600 You know, they feel bad for him. And then they say, you know, we can't feel bad because this man, what he's done to President Trump after these persecutions is just disgusting.

00:13:55.940 It's just not it's inhumane. The things that they've done to him.

00:13:59.760 And it comes down to a point anymore where, you know, there's no being cordial.

00:14:03.360 It's it's you know, it's do or die. They want Trump in jail for hundreds of years.

00:14:09.020 And like you said, you know, in July, we're going to see if one chance sends Donald Trump to Rikers Island.

00:14:15.040 It's it's a travesty and it's a disgrace.

00:14:17.260 What what Joe Biden has turned his DOJ into, you know, and then the whole justice system against President Trump and his supporters.

00:14:26.180 Absolutely. Absolutely. And when you think about it, President Trump, I've known him for a long time.

00:14:32.640 And, you know, he's he's a very determined businessman, but he's handled all these persecutions with a certain grace and dignified defiance.

00:14:43.100 And I often tell him is like, you know, the majority of voters now in the poll, they say that they that Biden wants to put him in jail to stop him from being president.

00:14:50.820 I'm 54 to 31. But but I've told President Trump is, you know, he's going to try to make you the Nelson Mandela of America, where we've never seen this.

00:15:02.200 It's unprecedented in the history of America. But he went through all these indictments, the mugshots, the the the the the trial, the purple.

00:15:11.360 Or it's, you know, they're trying to humiliate him and break him.

00:15:16.300 And he he's fighting, like he says, this is not about me. This is about you.

00:15:21.200 He's fighting for the forgotten men and women of America, the ones who really realize that they could lose their jobs, like all the workers in Michigan, the ones who the ones who feel they could lose their homes because they can't afford it.

00:15:34.840 The people who are being taxed to pay, you know, for student loans, for the privilege, who didn't ever went to college and just trying to get by every day.

00:15:43.580 And and he he really cares about the working men and women of America.

00:15:48.280 That's who he is. He's a businessman. He's an outsider. He's not from Washington.

00:15:52.380 Doesn't like the swamp. And now the swamp is just going all out to stop him.

00:15:57.620 And fortunately for us, the majority of Americans are responding and they realize this is their blue collar billionaire who's fighting for them, who wants to make sure that, you know, the America that have, you know, the promise of an American dream that takes care of its citizens.

00:16:14.680 They get to live it. That's what he wants to do.

00:17:56.160 All right, we're back with GOP strategist and pollster John McLaughlin.

00:18:02.380 John, on Thursday night, you know, we heard CNN the morning after the debate.

00:18:06.860 We heard morning Joe, who once said Trump was a threat to democracy and Biden will save democracy, now says Biden's a threat to democracy and we've got to get rid of him.

00:18:15.940 Will the Democrats get rid of him?

00:18:17.460 How can they do it?

00:18:18.340 What's the process?

00:18:19.080 Is it too late or will Joe Biden roll into November and weather the storm?

00:18:24.080 Um, I, you know, I don't think they can get rid of him unless he voluntarily steps down and Joe Biden, you know, he and his family love him being president and I don't see them stepping down anywhere.

00:18:36.160 I mean, this, he's got too much invested in persecuting Donald Trump.

00:18:40.160 So, while the Democrats may be, you know, in a, in somewhat of a, a panic mode, um, they ultimately, it's not because they really care about Joe Biden.

00:18:52.700 It's just that they want to stop Donald Trump.

00:18:54.460 So, Donald Trump, you know, he destroyed him last night.

00:18:59.360 If it was a, if it was a boxing match, uh, you would have had a, it would have been one of those events where the ref would have had to step in, call the fight, TKO. 0.73

00:19:08.500 So, but, so the Democrats, but it's only one debate and it's 130 days to the election and we got to be concerned about ballot security with ballot harvesting.

00:19:17.640 We got to be concerned with all the kinds of attacks that, you know, the Democrats and their allies will put on Donald Trump and especially the things that they say that aren't true.

00:19:27.440 I mean, that's, it's unbelievable the way they, they, they'll chop his sentence in half, but they'll say that he said things before and even point out where fact checkers are saying, I mean, it was unbelievable.

00:19:37.740 Biden went in the debate, talked about Charlottesville.

00:19:40.220 The fact checkers are saying those, those quotes weren't true.

00:19:43.460 You don't even, you don't even need a fact checker, John.

00:19:45.640 The video's out there.

00:19:46.760 It's about a minute and a half long.

00:19:48.100 If you don't have cable, you don't have to pay for cable.

00:19:50.200 You can go on Twitter.

00:19:51.020 It's free.

00:19:51.380 You go on Rumble.

00:19:52.180 And you can find the video of what he said.

00:19:54.840 He condemned the neo-Nazis and, and, and the, and the Klansmen and said, these people should be persecuted because they're wrong.

00:20:02.340 Exactly.

00:20:03.360 And he's back to running the same playbook from 20 because, because quite honestly, he's, he can't run on his record and he knows Donald Trump had a great record, but you'd mentioned the justice system and how it's weaponized against president Trump.

00:20:15.280 In your M&A poll this month, you asked if the justice department and FBI can be weaponized and prosecute president Trump for political motives in the future, they will prosecute other political opponents.

00:20:25.600 62% agree.

00:20:27.340 42 of them strongly agree.

00:20:29.700 Yeah.

00:20:29.780 What do you make of that?

00:20:31.760 People are afraid.

00:20:33.180 They're afraid.

00:20:34.420 You know, the power of the FBI, they're seeing this and it's unprecedented in American history.

00:20:38.860 I mean, I have European clients that work in democracies over in Europe and the ones in Central Europe who were in countries that were former Soviet states, satellites, they, captive nations.

00:20:50.320 They say, this is what the communists did in 1947.

00:20:53.860 They would come in, put on show trials, prosecute their political leaders.

00:20:58.820 And, you know, it was, it's what the Marxists do.

00:21:03.260 And Joe Biden, for some reason, has taken a page out of what the Marxists do or what, you know, Vladimir Putin does, what he did to Navalny.

00:21:11.340 And he's trying to bring it to America.

00:21:14.120 And, you know, people like yourself, people like Lou Dobbs, we get the message out for the truth.

00:21:19.500 We're trying to protect liberty, trying to protect freedom, trying to protect the integrity of our justice system.

00:21:24.540 But ever since Donald Trump got elected with the fake dossier, the impeachment over Ukraine, the fake impeachment, et cetera, it's been to cover up Democrat crimes, in effect.

00:21:35.580 And, you know, the confidential documents, I mean, they said Biden couldn't be prosecuted because he's too old. 0.96

00:21:41.560 That's ridiculous. 0.73

00:21:43.900 I mean, you know, he either he committed those crimes or he didn't. 0.92

00:21:48.740 And then you turn around and Donald Trump, who has the ability to say documents not confidential because he was president, Biden wasn't.

00:21:57.180 But he gets he gets indicted by Jack Smith because Biden pushed Merrick Garland to point this guy to indict him on something that Biden's really guilty of.

00:22:07.320 I mean, the American people see right through that.

00:22:09.680 The majority.

00:22:11.020 I saw something on Twitter.

00:22:13.040 I think it was from Senator Eric Schmidt.

00:22:14.560 And he pretty much said everyone owes Robert Herr an apology, you know, because he said, you know, we we knew he was bad.

00:22:21.180 We knew Biden was bad, but we've only get two to three minute spurs of him at a time.

00:22:25.540 And he runs back off into wherever he goes.

00:22:28.560 Last night we had 90 minutes.

00:22:30.540 And like I said, 12 minutes, it took Trump to break him.

00:22:33.320 And, you know, the first.

00:22:35.720 Three or four minutes that he had to speak.

00:22:37.820 I mean, he spit every word out as fast he could.

00:22:39.780 It had to be rehearsed or whatever.

00:22:41.440 You know, he memorized.

00:22:42.840 And then after that, I mean, it was like he hit a complete brick wall.

00:22:45.940 I want to turn to a poly market.

00:22:48.020 They do betting for the election, election odds before the debate on Thursday night.

00:22:55.080 You could bet on Biden dropping out of the presidential race before the debate on Thursday night.

00:23:00.000 It was at 19 percent Friday morning, 44 percent.

00:23:06.640 It's unbelievable.

00:23:08.300 President Trump to win the election is now at 64 percent chance on poly market.

00:23:13.400 Do Americans see what's going on here?

00:23:15.800 You know, do you think Donald Trump prevails in November and how big?

00:23:20.720 Well, as far as the campaign goes, we're going to run like he's an underdog.

00:23:24.480 We're going to take nothing for granted.

00:23:26.160 We've got 130 days to go since the debate to the election.

00:23:31.320 Early voting starts in some states in September, most states in October.

00:23:36.380 You know, this year, instead of like four years ago where Republicans waited for Election Day,

00:23:40.800 the first day early voting starts or absentee starts, we have to have Trump voters online voting,

00:23:47.300 making sure their votes count, make sure it's an honest, fair election.

00:23:50.280 If President Trump said they estimate if he'll accept the results, it's an honest, fair election.

00:23:54.380 Absolutely.

00:23:55.460 So we've got to make sure we win that election.

00:23:58.600 So we've got to run like an underdog.

00:24:00.920 And I don't really pay, you know, I mean, Nate Silver says Trump's going to win.

00:24:05.540 I got attacked by Nate Silver's 538.

00:24:08.960 They're always attacking my polls.

00:24:10.540 Because in 2016 on Election Day and the week before, I said Trump could win.

00:24:14.760 And they had Hillary Clinton at 71%.

00:24:17.280 She was going to win.

00:24:19.160 It was going to be a Hillary lock. 0.61

00:24:21.220 Well, I think on an election night, New York Times had it at, what, 98%?

00:24:24.740 That's right.

00:24:25.480 Well, yeah, that's something like that.

00:24:27.480 It was like, I got beat up because my candidate won.

00:24:30.980 So I haven't recovered.

00:24:33.280 So it's the only woman.

00:24:34.440 I don't know.

00:24:35.400 Yeah, so.

00:24:36.720 Joe Biden's saying he's going to show up in September 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd.

00:24:41.660 What do we make of that?

00:24:43.120 We want him there. 0.99

00:24:45.880 He's got a little scum of the rest. 0.99

00:24:48.780 So he had a whole week in Camp David. 0.99

00:24:51.160 And, you know, that didn't seem out.

00:24:52.920 It seems that every day that goes by, you know, he becomes more cognitively declining.

00:24:59.680 You know, it seems he's getting worse and worse.

00:25:01.960 You watch him get off of Air Force One the other day when he was going to Camp David.

00:25:06.300 He gets off.

00:25:07.140 And, I mean, Marine One is sitting there waiting for him.

00:25:10.300 And he's looking around.

00:25:11.520 Where am I going?

00:25:12.800 I mean, there's no other place you can go.

00:25:14.640 There's no car.

00:25:15.840 And he's completely lost.

00:25:18.040 How does he make it through to November?

00:25:20.340 Well, I think the Democrats are stuck.

00:25:22.300 And they won't get rid of him because then Kamala Harris becomes president. 0.95

00:25:26.300 So, yeah, she does worse. 1.00

00:25:28.340 Trump beats her worse.

00:25:30.620 So, you know, it's like, on one hand, you know, you look at him, I'm sure he's older and elderly, unlike Trump, who's in great health and really sharp mentally.

00:25:42.320 On the other hand, Biden is well enough to be ruthless, to be corrupt, to, you know, make sure these prosecutions against Trump happen.

00:25:52.180 He's calling the shots. 0.77

00:25:53.900 And he hates Donald Trump.

00:25:55.840 And his family hates Donald Trump.

00:25:58.540 And they could be in legal jeopardy if they're not in control of the administration.

00:26:04.060 And if Donald, you know, they're afraid if Donald Trump wins, you know, somebody might hold them accountable.

00:26:10.960 But, you know, Trump, to his credit, when Hillary Clinton, you know, destroyed the server and all that, he didn't go after her after he beat the election.

00:26:19.800 He wanted the country to come together and unite.

00:26:22.260 Biden's not that way. 0.60

00:26:23.440 You got a ruthless, corrupt president who he'll do whatever he can to try to figure out how to win the election.

00:26:29.960 And the Democrat Party is, you know, they were willing accomplices in the last two elections.

00:26:36.720 They're going to do it again.

00:26:37.900 So we've got it.

00:26:38.860 The funny thing was, was Biden sitting there and he's astounded.

00:26:42.040 Trump's going to go after his political enemies like we're not witnessing it right now.

00:26:46.420 Like we haven't witnessed it since 2015.

00:26:48.400 Trump coming down the escalator and the two anchors are sitting there.

00:26:52.540 You don't nobody's covering it.

00:26:54.320 The right wing media is not even covering it.

00:26:56.300 But this man has been going after it between him and Barack Obama and have been going after President Trump since 2015.

00:27:03.440 And they you know, it's everything the Democrats do.

00:27:06.560 They blame on the Republicans.

00:27:07.560 They try to push back on it real quick, John, before we let you go.

00:27:11.060 A massive ruling on Friday out of the Supreme Court in a 6-3 decision ruling that that 1512C charge that the DOJ overcharged all January or most January 6th defendants with.

00:27:25.080 I think 350 copying to a plea deal over it, obstruction of official proceeding, Supreme Court ruling that they can now appeal it.

00:27:34.040 And that 1512C charge is the same charge that Jack Smith has more than half of the charges on President Trump in D.C.

00:27:41.580 Right.

00:27:41.940 What do you make of it?

00:27:43.120 It's political persecution from the beginning.

00:27:45.860 That January 6th committee that they had in the House where it was all Democrats who were Trump opponents, plus two Republicans, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.

00:27:56.600 They were it was a kangaroo court and it was meant to give, you know, ammunition to the to the Democrat idea that you could bar your leading political opponent from running.

00:28:09.560 What they wanted to do is use the 14th Amendment that say Trump was guilty of insurrection and knock him off the ballot because he's ahead in the polls.

00:28:18.820 So this is what they do in communist countries.

00:28:21.300 And this is what the Democrat Party's come down to because of Joe Biden's leadership.

00:28:24.960 So that's what it was.

00:28:26.740 And the sad part is you got people who may have been misguided protesters who are lawyering, walking around the Capitol when they shouldn't have been.

00:28:35.420 And they got charged with obstruction.

00:28:38.720 Fortunately, there's enough, you know, real justices on the Supreme Court and in the federal court system that basically that could be, you know, that could be put away and said, you know, these people, it's just they should have never been prosecuted.

00:28:56.420 And this is why we got that result in the poll, like 60, 20, 62, 27, the majority of Americans say if they get away with doing this to Donald Trump, they could do it to anyone with the FBI, the IRS, the Department of Justice.

00:29:08.900 And it's a shame because people, they ruin people's lives with this.

00:29:13.900 And and, you know, normal, normal people.

00:29:16.680 Now, granted, there were some people that totally out of hand.

00:29:19.000 But, you know, the Black Lives Matter riots, the riots in front of the White House, Seattle, Portland, they didn't Minneapolis, they didn't lock anybody up from those things.

00:29:29.080 They let them go.

00:29:29.800 They burned down the police station in Minneapolis.

00:29:33.200 Kamala Harris.

00:29:34.900 Kamala Harris bailed them out.

00:29:37.160 Maxine Waters was out there cheering for them.

00:29:39.800 So we need riots. 1.00

00:29:41.280 So it's like, yeah, you know, somebody did something stupid. 1.00

00:29:44.720 They should pay a penalty. 0.94

00:29:45.660 But you shouldn't make you shouldn't bend the laws or change the Constitution or use to manipulate the justice system for political reasons.

00:29:54.380 And it was all about getting Donald Trump, which makes it even more important.

00:29:57.720 We win in November.

00:29:59.200 Right.

00:29:59.740 It's a long roll to November.

00:30:00.880 And based on Thursday night's performance, it's going to be extra long.

00:30:05.460 John McLaughlin, great American, as Lou calls you.

00:30:07.500 Thank you so much for joining us.

00:30:08.940 Thank you.

00:30:09.600 Take care of Lou.

00:30:10.440 I'll see you soon.

00:30:11.160 Thank you, John.

00:30:15.660 Bye.

00:30:16.660 Bye.
