00:01:44.780 Lou, this all started in November 2022.
00:01:50.020 You had President Biden a day after the midterm elections.
00:01:55.540 Republicans had the House.
00:01:58.760 The Senate went to the Democrats.
00:02:01.720 And this was only a couple days after President Trump had signaled that he was going to mount another election.
00:02:09.040 He was gunning for the White House again.
00:02:10.820 So November 9, you had President Biden come out in a press conference, and he flat out admitted in front of reporters, in front of the American people, that they are going to use all the levers that they had under the Constitution to stop President Trump from getting back to the White House.

00:02:34.240 He didn't say anything about a campaign or election.
00:02:36.960 He said that they were going to use whatever constitutional means they could.
00:02:41.580 That was a green flag for prosecutors, for administration officials, for attorneys all across the country to take off.

00:03:01.020 You had Jack Smith be appointed by Merrick Garland as a special prosecutor to come after Trump.
00:03:10.460 You had Nathan Wade spend eight hours, eight hours in the White House counsel's office.

00:03:19.840 Nathan Wade, of course, had been hired by Thonnie Willis in Atlanta, in Fulton County.
00:03:27.380 And then you had Michael Colangelo, the number three Biden official at the Department of Justice, one of the most powerful law enforcement officers in the land, take a job as assistant prosecutor in Manhattan DA's office.
00:03:45.940 I mean, a significant, significant, significant step down from where he had been.
00:03:52.200 All three of those occurrences are what really kicked off and unleashed lawfare against President Trump in Washington, D.C., in Manhattan, in Fulton County and in Florida.

00:04:09.040 It is unbelievable, the significance of that day.
00:04:12.100 And it all started when President Biden gave everyone the green light and said, we're going to do whatever we can to stop Trump.

00:04:19.040 And it was that that bald, that that raw to just come at it and say, we're going after you.
00:04:27.600 And as you say, a green light for the the lawfare persecutors and prosecutors across the country.

00:04:46.420 And I can't imagine any court dismissing this as coincidence, but rather absolute proof that this thing was all connected, all all part of a corrupt conspiracy against the former president of the United States.

00:05:12.460 You have the civil suits, the the 14th Amendment cases in jurisdictions across the country where Democrats tried to keep President Trump off the ballot altogether.
00:05:23.400 It took the Supreme Court to step in and remedy that for the time being, although it might reemerge before November.
00:05:30.700 But as you say, the courts are clearly see this for what it is, obviously not in Manhattan, which that certainly President Trump is appealing that and is very hopeful that that will be overturned on the bill.
00:05:48.860 But the court that might be just as important is the court of the American people and the American people clearly see this for what for what it is.
00:05:59.460 And look, the Democrats overstepped.

00:06:04.000 If they would have perhaps picked one, maybe two cases or to come after Trump, then maybe the American people would have bought it.

00:06:27.640 But the American people, when they look at just the level of lawfare across the country and it seems like every state and every court in our nation coming after Trump, the American people clearly see this for what it is.

00:18:35.680 Well, what Kevin McCarthy is referencing is Mike Johnson appointing two patriots, two nonconformists to the deep state agenda, and Scott Perry and Ronnie Jackson to the House Select Committee on Intelligence.
00:18:57.200 Look, I haven't given Mike Johnson a lot of credit.
00:19:00.240 That he's someone who betrayed us on FISA, on warrantless surveillance.
00:19:06.980 He betrayed us on Ukraine aid, and he betrayed us on government funding.
00:19:11.800 I think that, and I never would have thought eight, nine months ago I'd say this, but Kevin McCarthy did a much better job of being speaker than Mike Johnson.

00:21:51.440 We're essentially running a joint government with the Democrats, a coalition government in the House right now.

00:22:48.900 I believe this, that the Supreme Court taking up the issue of President Trump's immunity at this moment couldn't be more proficious because evidence abounds as to why any president in the era of lawfare has to have immunity.

00:23:08.560 There's no question about it, so long as he's in in office for every act he takes.
00:23:16.560 Otherwise, this government would be brought to brought to ground.

00:23:25.600 Look, these are issues that the Congress had an opportunity to weigh in on with Trump, the Democrat House and the clearly politicized, clearly politicized impeachment, impeachment.
00:23:41.300 The Senate said no, that that is how the process is supposed to go as it regards to alleged high crimes and misdemeanors or what have you when a president's in office.
00:23:52.220 But the fact is, if a president has to worry about constant litigation, being charged with crimes, having to report to court while they're in office or even after they leave office, that would have just an absolute chilling effect on any president, Republican or Democrat.
00:24:14.200 It would severely handicap their ability to do the job.
00:24:19.940 They've got to be able to go out and do the job as they see fit.
00:24:24.040 That's how our founders set up the country.
00:24:27.340 The American people hand the keys to the kingdom to a different person every four years, and they have the authority to do the job.
00:24:36.240 This is clearly politicized, and it's rich that this is coming from Eric Holder, who all of a sudden is worried about presidential immunity, because I think that there are a few things that we could certainly bring him and certainly his boss, Mr. Obama.
00:24:50.860 We would love to see him before the court on some of the things that they did when Obama was in office.
00:24:58.860 This is just political posturing from Eric Holder, someone who did incredible amounts of damage when he was at Department of Justice, of turning that law enforcement agency into a political arm of the Obama administration.
00:25:15.140 So I don't take anything that Eric Holder says seriously.
00:25:19.000 He's a partisan political hack, and this is just another method for Democrats to come at Trump and to try to influence the 2024 election.

00:25:31.240 I love the way Eric Holder styled, postured the conclusion that he fears from the Supreme Court.
00:25:40.140 An adverse decision, of course, would be a dangerous, dangerous decision in ruling on the part of the court.
