00:00:00.000 hello everybody and welcome to the great america show it's great to have you with us thanks so
00:00:06.480 much for joining us on this beautiful night in america it's beautiful wednesday in america
00:00:12.000 president trump addressing a joint session of congress last night and boy it was a rough one
00:00:16.160 for the marxist dems not for the republicans not for the country but for the marxist dems the
00:00:21.120 marxist dems were uh forced to sit there and face the reality reality that their party had this
00:00:27.680 country going in the wrong direction wants to continue this country in the wrong direction
00:00:31.840 and doesn't care about the american people or anything that we stand for as americans they want
00:00:37.200 mass migration from illegal immigrants they want endless wars overseas with americans involved
00:00:43.200 they want high inflation which is what they've given us over the last four years of joe biden
00:00:48.960 they want china to continue to eat our lunch they want canada to continue to eat our lunch they want
00:00:53.600 drugs to continue to pour through our southern border with mexico they don't care how many americans
00:00:58.320 die of fentanyl overdoses they don't care um how many kids are indoctrinated in schools with dei and
00:01:04.560 transgenderism uh they don't care about the health pandemic in our country and why uh 30 years ago
00:01:12.000 the the number of children uh with autism is disgusting to compare to what it is today
00:01:18.320 one in 30 something today 30 years ago is one in every few thousand the numbers are disgusting but
00:01:25.200 the democrats don't care about that what they care about is putting on a good show a charade
00:01:30.320 for their audience the only problem is folks is their audience is running out the american people have
00:01:35.520 had enough it's the reason why donald trump had that resounding victory on november 5th uh nobody ever
00:01:41.920 thought donald trump could win the popular vote here in america and when he mentioned it last night the
00:01:45.920 democrats absolutely lost it they started booing and from the beginning for those of you who watched
00:01:51.120 it you saw the democrats they only cared uh you know to put on their show put on their show for their
00:01:57.280 fans so that they could go ahead uh make them happy get a quick sound bite al green one of them the man
00:02:04.480 is reprehensible he's disgusting the man has not an ounce of respect honesty integrity honor not an ounce
00:02:12.160 of it in his body standing up getting thrown out doing exactly what he wanted to do it's what he
00:02:16.320 always does puts on a show but the american people as i said are on the side of donald trump and they're
00:02:21.760 on the side of the republican party take a look don't don't take my word for it i always i always tell you this
00:02:27.440 on the show here take a look at what americans had to say take a look at that folks 76 of the american
00:02:36.160 people approved of his speech last night to a joint section of congress this is from yougov with the
00:02:42.400 margin of error of just about three and a half points three and a half percent 76 percent approved
00:02:48.880 23 percent disapproved so i'd love to see those 20 uh 23 percent uh who disapproved because it's clear
00:02:56.880 of what their political party is their political affiliation but uh to get that high of approval rating
00:03:02.400 on anything at this day and age folks is very very very difficult the democrats don't care about
00:03:09.200 giving donald trump a win because if they give donald trump a win they give the country a win and
00:03:13.440 they don't care about this country so why would they and donald trump actually addressed that last
00:03:18.160 night i want to play a clip for you guys here of donald trump looking at the democrats in their
00:03:22.720 eyes in their face pointing at them and addressing them and telling them it doesn't matter if i cured
00:03:27.520 cancer if i cured any disease you guys would sit here you wouldn't clap you wouldn't cheer on this
00:03:33.200 country and of course the mainstream media the marxist left mainstream media uh took it as the
00:03:39.520 headline donald trump complaining that nobody wanted to applaud for him that the democrats didn't want to
00:03:44.960 applaud for him but take a listen to the clip yourselves and you make the determination and once
00:03:49.760 again i look at the democrats in front of me and i realize there is absolutely nothing i can say to
00:03:56.560 make them happy or to make them stand or smile or applaud nothing i can do i could find a cure to
00:04:04.800 the most devastating disease a disease that would wipe out entire nations or announce the answers to
00:04:13.120 the greatest economy in history or the stoppage of crime to the lowest levels ever recorded and these
00:04:20.960 people sitting right here will not clap will not stand and certainly will not cheer for these
00:04:28.000 astronomical achievements they won't do it no matter what five five times i've been up here
00:04:34.720 it's very sad and it just shouldn't be this way and once again i look at the democrats in front of me
00:04:43.040 and i realized you know that's why donald trump resonates so well with the american people he
00:04:49.840 looks at them in the eye he tells them exactly how it is and if you don't like it figure it out and move
00:04:57.360 on um but good on donald trump looking them in the eyes and telling them exactly how it was how it is
00:05:04.320 it's the truth of the matter these democrats these marxists hate america they hate america
00:05:11.360 they came last night ready to argue uh they came ready to fight they came ready to stage a war against
00:05:19.040 him the women some of the women dressed in pink some of them dressed in black holding up ridiculously
00:05:24.000 stupid signs elon musk is a thief lies this this this and that the truth of the matter is though
00:05:30.800 folks last night uh wasn't really for donald trump it was for the american people look at it take a
00:05:37.280 look at the dais of who donald trump invited there i want to go through some of these folks uh for you
00:05:41.920 guys uh to take a look and take a listen to who was invited uh to this uh supreme this um joint session
00:05:50.720 of congress uh if you're joining us on video you have the picture here in front of you so you can follow
00:05:55.280 along with us if you're joining us on audio i apologize you'll just have to follow along with us

00:07:25.520 that after her to the right of her laura laura and allison phillips the sister and mother of rate lake and riley

00:12:13.200 tweet shoot me a message give me your best guess because i just truly can't figure it out right
00:12:18.720 before we went to break there i mentioned dj dj daniel the 13 year old boy who was diagnosed
00:12:25.360 as a young boy given just five months to live now years later he's continuing his fight a boy who has
00:12:32.560 been a victim of bullying disgusting a man a boy who has just been gone through hell and back with the life
00:12:43.200 you're going to see him in just a few moments massive scar on the top of his head from
00:12:47.680 all the surgeries that he's gone through very very sad and that's who donald trump invited on his desk
00:12:54.800 take a listen to donald trump making this young boys night last night joining us in the gallery
00:13:00.720 tonight is a young man who truly loves our police his name is dj daniel he is 13 years old and he has
00:13:08.560 always dreamed of becoming a police officer
00:13:27.040 so
00:13:33.040 but in 2018 dj was diagnosed with brain cancer the doctors gave him five months at most
00:13:59.040 to live that was more than six years ago
00:14:12.720 since that time dj and his dad have been on a quest to make his dream come true and dj has been
00:14:32.160 sworn in as an honorary law enforcement officer actually a number of times peace the police love
00:14:40.160 him the police departments love him and tonight dj we're going to do you the biggest honor of them
00:14:46.320 all i am asking our new secret service director sean curran to officially make you an agent of the united
00:14:55.120 the united states secret service
00:15:06.080 uh
00:15:08.320 to
00:15:12.720 the
00:15:18.560 here
00:15:19.600 It brings a tear to my eye and gives me goosebumps and chills
00:15:46.380 because I think that's who the Democrats sat there and booed and rooted against
00:15:51.440 is a child like that.
00:15:53.520 There's many interviews of DJ out there.
00:15:55.420 He's an honorary member of over 900 police departments.
00:15:58.180 And just listening to that young boy talk, 13 years old,
00:16:02.160 but honestly, and I can relate to him because people have always made fun of me
00:16:06.220 that I'm a 50-year-old man trapped in a 20-year-old's body.
00:16:09.360 And I sit there and I listen to this 13-year-old boy talk,
00:16:12.680 and I'm like, this guy is just way ahead of his time.
00:16:16.100 I mean, he's far too intellectually competent for his age.
00:16:23.900 So God bless him.
00:16:26.400 Tough young fighter, as I mentioned, a victim of brutal bullying.
00:16:30.380 I refuse to put up the videos, but there's videos out there
00:16:33.220 that you can find on Twitter, on the deep web, deep web,
00:16:36.520 on the web of this poor child and what he's gone through.
00:16:40.080 So, you know, brain cancer, brain tumor aside, strong fighter, great American,
00:16:46.380 surrounded by a great, great family.
00:16:48.880 But it wasn't just the Marxist Dems who were in attendance there,
00:16:51.880 who couldn't seem to cheer, couldn't seem to be happy.
00:16:57.600 Not even for DJ Daniel.
00:16:59.100 This 13-year-old boy who's against all odds, fought and fought and fought.
00:17:02.840 Take a listen to MSNBC, Nicole Wallace, and her take on this boy.
00:17:08.620 She tells him she hopes he doesn't kill himself.
00:17:12.320 Take a listen.
00:17:13.260 I think this was a lesson in finding one thing that you let yourself feel.
00:17:18.800 And I let myself feel joy about DJ.
00:17:22.600 And I hope he's alive for another, you know, 95 years, right?
00:17:28.040 And I hope he lives the life he wants to live.
00:17:31.740 He wants to be a cop.
00:17:32.560 He knows what he wants to do.
00:17:33.620 And maybe when you have childhood cancer, that crystallizes for you.
00:17:37.280 And I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer.
00:17:40.880 But I hope he never has to defend the United States Capitol
00:17:43.800 against Donald Trump's supporters.
00:17:45.540 And if he does, I hope he isn't one of the six who loses his life to suicide.
00:17:49.780 And I hope he isn't one who has to testify against the people
00:17:53.340 who carried out acts of seditious conspiracy
00:17:55.420 and then lived to see Donald Trump pardon those people.
00:17:58.840 Can you imagine that?
00:18:02.680 All this kid has been through.
00:18:04.740 And that's what Nicole Wallace on MSNBC had to say.
00:18:07.880 As the firings continue throughout these Marxist-run news networks,
00:18:14.080 that's one you've got to look at if you're a network executive.
00:18:17.220 That woman is a disgrace to us as American people, to us as a human species.
00:18:24.180 You're a disgrace to even think or say something like that,
00:18:29.220 to even think something like that.
00:18:31.020 How do you – I don't even want to go any further
00:18:34.320 because I don't want to stoop down to her level about it.
00:18:37.200 But there's so much to talk about today as we continue to dig in
00:18:40.980 to President Trump's joint session of Congress.
00:18:47.240 Some other news happening today.
00:18:48.680 We're going to go a little bit further into that with our guest
00:18:50.560 who's going to be joining us in just a few moments.
00:18:52.660 It's Professor Nicholas Giordano, great American.
00:18:57.220 He's going to join us in just a few moments to discuss everything that's going on,
00:19:01.980 DEI, wokeism in schools, our school system that's been failing the American people for years now
00:19:09.480 and how we're going to go ahead and fix that.
00:19:11.980 But before we move on to further joint session news,
00:19:15.560 I want to get to another important news story of the day.
00:19:17.760 The Supreme Court, another disgrace,
00:19:21.320 has ordered the President Trump's administration to immediately unfreeze foreign aid payments,
00:19:25.320 of course, with two conservative justices siding with the Marxist Dems.
00:19:32.620 This was a Wednesday morning, this earlier this morning.
00:19:35.300 They must immediately release the $1.9 billion in foreign aid payments.
00:19:39.740 It's unbelievable.
00:19:41.100 It's truly unbelievable.
00:19:43.160 This maintains a decision from a district court judge
00:19:46.580 that ordered the administration must honor the foreign aid agreements
00:19:49.020 that existed before Donald Trump took office.
00:19:51.320 So, in other words, anything, any free giveaway, free money giveaway
00:19:55.980 that Joe Biden wanted to give out to anybody, it was a 5-4 ruling.
00:20:00.800 Justice is ready for this.
00:20:02.860 John Roberts, as expected, but Amy Coney Barrett, another one,
00:20:06.480 voted with the Marxist Dems.
00:20:08.500 For what reason?
00:20:09.440 We're not entirely sure.
00:20:11.740 Coney Barrett has proven to be nothing more than a lackey for the Marxist left,
00:20:16.360 time and time again.
00:20:17.280 Coming to their rescue whenever she needs them, whenever they need her.
00:20:23.340 She runs and runs and runs to save them.
00:20:26.240 Also happening in D.C., Mayor Merrill Bowser, that Marxist Dems, you know,
00:20:31.200 who was partially to blame for that January 6th insurrection,
00:20:35.600 is now looking at removing the Black Lives Matter plaza that's just outside the White House.
00:20:41.160 It's that big Black Lives Matter mural that's painted on the street just in front of the White House.
00:20:47.740 It was done to try to, I guess, spite Donald Trump during the summer of love
00:20:53.440 where Black Lives Matter and Antifa decided they were going to burn down cities across America.
00:20:57.800 New York City did one.
00:20:58.780 They happened to do it right in front of Trump Tower.
00:21:02.120 D.C. happened to put it right in front of the White House.
00:21:05.460 Muriel Bowser losing once again, folks.
00:21:08.440 Losing once again.
00:21:10.380 It's very sad.
00:21:11.460 But the American people, as I've said before, are on Donald Trump's side overwhelmingly.
00:21:16.640 I mean, poll after poll after poll, they're on Donald Trump's side,
00:21:21.460 whether it be the Ukraine war with Russia, whether it be the border, whether it be deportations,
00:21:27.900 whether it be the economy.
00:21:29.200 Latest polling out from CNN, no less, folks.
00:21:34.300 From CNN, Donald Trump is more popular when it comes and more favorable when it comes to handling this war in Ukraine and Russia
00:21:41.980 than Joe Biden and the popularity of both those countries combined.
00:21:47.940 So the American people trust Donald Trump.
00:21:49.540 They trust him that he's going to do the right thing, that he's going to do a great job for this country,
00:21:52.940 as he's continued to do alongside Donald Trump since day one, really since that assassination attempt on in Butler, Pennsylvania,
00:22:01.580 has been Elon Musk, who's, of course, head of the powerful Doge, whatever you want to call it, committee,
00:22:07.880 quote, committee.
00:22:10.340 Doge announcing this week the cancellation of NIH grants for transgender experiments of animals.
00:22:16.080 Now, why would you be doing experiments on animals with such a ridiculous way?
00:22:22.640 Now, I can understand the whole animal testing when it comes to cancer research
00:22:26.620 and things that are going to save mass amounts of people.
00:22:30.380 Okay, I can understand that.
00:22:31.620 I don't like it.
00:22:32.520 I hate the idea of testing on animals.
00:22:34.040 But when you're curing things like cancer for the general public, for the American people, I understand it.
00:22:40.040 Okay, but you move on to animals and gender transitioning them.
00:22:48.140 It's truly absurd.
00:22:49.900 And it makes you wonder who's behind it all.
00:22:52.720 Who's getting the kickbacks here?
00:22:54.380 Who wins from transitioning animals into a different gender?
00:22:59.960 Who wins there?
00:23:01.860 Because it's not the American people.
00:23:03.640 It's not the animals who go through the pain and suffering of it.
00:23:07.300 So who wins?
00:23:08.160 So Elon Musk, like I said, doing the Lord's worth work in D.C. with President Donald J. Trump.
00:23:17.980 Also some news today, President Trump is actually reportedly negotiating directly with Hamas
00:23:23.240 to release those hostages who have still yet to be released by the Hamas terrorists.
00:23:31.460 Benjamin Netanyahu, it makes you wonder and makes you worry.
00:23:35.760 It's been over a year and a half since that disgusting attack on Israel.
00:23:41.340 And what has Benjamin Netanyahu really done?
00:23:44.440 It seems like he sat back and waited for Donald Trump to come in to fix it for him.
00:23:50.840 It doesn't really make much sense.
00:23:52.500 He had said it was going to take him days to clear out the Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
00:23:56.580 It's taken him over a year and a half and they're still running free.
00:24:01.040 They still have hostages.
00:24:03.240 So what exactly has he done?
00:24:05.040 It really makes you wonder as his time in Israel may be coming to an end, folks.
00:24:12.300 I think he's really running out of time.
00:24:14.180 The people are losing patience with him.
00:24:17.920 Maybe Donald Trump is losing patience with him.
00:24:19.740 I'm not entirely sure, but I think his time has come to an end.
00:24:22.760 I'll tell you one thing.
00:24:24.200 Donald Trump's patience is definitely running thin with Marxist dictator up north of the border, Justin Trudeau.
00:24:31.900 President Trump reportedly spoke with Trudeau today for almost an hour and sent this message out on Truth Social regarding those tariffs.
00:24:39.860 Quote, Justin Trudeau of Canada called me to ask what could be done about the tariffs, told him that many people have died from fentanyl that came through the borders of Canada and Mexico, and nothing has convinced me that it has stopped.
00:24:53.480 He has said it's gotten better, but then I said, quote, that's not good enough.
00:24:57.640 The call ended in somewhat of a friendly manner.
00:25:00.060 He was unable to tell me when the Canadian election is taking place, which made me curious.
00:25:05.120 Like, what's going on here?
00:25:06.500 I then realized he's just trying to use this issue to stay in power.
00:25:11.300 Good luck, Justin.
00:25:13.100 And in another post just shortly after that, President Trump saying, quote, for anyone who is interested, I also told Governor Justin Trudeau of Canada that he's largely caused the problem we have with them because of his weak border policies, which has allowed tremendous amounts of fentanyl and illegal aliens to pour into the United States.
00:25:30.000 These policies are responsible for the depths of many people, and it's far more than many people for anyone who's caught an interview with Howard Lutnick on Fox News.
00:25:40.800 Over 100,000 people die each year of overdoses.
00:25:44.860 But think about the amount of people, and that's just because of autopsies.
00:25:49.640 Think about the amount of people whose children, family members die, and they don't do autopsies because they say, you know, it was clearly foul play or whatever.
00:25:59.280 We just want to move on from the situation and keep it rolling.
00:26:04.180 So think about that.
00:26:05.000 It's probably double, triple of what we're being told, which is somewhere in the 100,000 range.
00:26:10.480 So is it really 300,000?
00:26:13.260 Truly, truly sad and sickening that Justin Trudeau and the president of Mexico have allowed this to go on for years and years and years.
00:26:22.200 Folks, I want to take one more quick break.
00:26:23.960 When we return, we're going to be joined by our guest, Professor Nicholas Giordano.
00:26:28.460 We're also going to take up a little bit more in depth about President Trump's joint session of Congress address last night and some of the things he addressed when it came to spending and how they're going to go ahead and cut that and wasteful spending and what Elon Musk has his eye on now.

00:28:07.720 I drink it each and every day here on this show.
00:28:09.740 I want to continue on with our conversation that we've been talking about here for the last almost half hour.
00:28:16.080 President Trump, his approval rating.
00:28:17.980 I've got some new numbers for you that we're going to go through when we bring in our guest here in just a few moments.
00:28:22.240 He's Nicholas Giordano, professor, host of the PAS Report podcast, wherever you guys get your podcasts.
00:28:27.660 We highly recommend it to you.
00:28:29.140 Very informational.
00:28:30.200 So we recommend that to you.
00:28:33.060 But I want to continue on this conversation about his joint session of Congress speech last night in the Marxist Dems.
00:28:39.840 And there was a good two minutes or so where he just went through number after number after number.
00:28:45.460 And the Democrats in the mainstream media are losing their minds.
00:28:49.300 Rachel Madcow, I watched her last night after after the speech, and she's sitting there going through all these things.
00:28:54.220 This is false.
00:28:54.860 This is false.
00:28:55.480 This is false.
00:28:56.380 But she's sitting there lying as she's saying Donald Trump, what Donald Trump said was false.
00:29:00.440 She's sitting there lying completely about what she's saying is the truth.
00:29:04.940 So who do you believe?
00:29:05.700 A man who's sitting there running down statistic, running down numbers.
00:29:09.640 Take a listen to this little short clip of Donald Trump running through the wasteful spending of this government, the money.
00:29:18.200 You're going to hear countries, folks, that you've probably never heard of before.
00:29:21.260 And don't be offended because I've never heard of them either.
00:29:23.920 But take a listen.
00:29:25.600 Just listen to some of the appalling waste we have already identified.
00:29:30.840 $22 billion from HHS to provide free housing and cars for illegal aliens.
00:29:39.900 $45 million for diversity, equity, and inclusion scholarships in Burma.
00:29:46.640 $40 million to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants.
00:29:53.520 Nobody knows what that is.
00:29:54.800 $8 million to promote LGBTQI+.
00:30:01.880 In the African nation of Lesotho, which nobody has ever heard of.
00:30:08.400 $60 million for indigenous peoples and Afro-Colombian empowerment in Central America.
00:30:16.920 $60 million.
00:30:18.420 $8 million for making mice transgender.
00:30:24.800 This is real.
00:30:27.260 $32 million for a left-wing propaganda operation in Moldova.
00:30:33.580 $10 million for male circumcision in Mozambique.
00:30:39.020 $20 million for the Arab Sesame Street in the Middle East.
00:30:45.360 It's a program.
00:30:46.580 $20 million for a program.
00:30:48.100 $1.9 billion to recently created decarbonization of Homes Committee headed up.
00:30:58.480 And we know she's involved.
00:30:59.880 Just at the last moment, the money was passed over by a woman named Stacey Abrams.
00:31:06.140 Have you ever heard of her?
00:31:07.220 A $3.5 million consulting contract for lavish fish monitoring.
00:31:16.000 $1.5 million for voter confidence in Liberia.
00:31:22.140 $14 million for social cohesion in Malley.
00:31:26.580 $59 million for illegal alien hotel rooms in New York City.
00:31:31.500 He's a real estate developer.
00:31:35.960 He's done very well.
00:31:37.820 $250,000 to increase vegan local climate action innovation in Zambia.
00:31:45.760 $42 million for social and behavior change in Uganda.
00:31:51.560 $14 million for improving public procurement in Serbia.
00:31:55.500 $47 million for improving learning outcomes in Asia.
00:32:02.640 Asia's doing very well with learning.
00:32:05.380 You know what we're doing.
00:32:07.000 We should use it ourselves.
00:32:09.080 $101 million for DEI contracts at the Department of Education.
00:32:15.620 The most ever paid.
00:32:17.480 Nothing even like it.
00:32:18.820 Under the Trump administration, all of these scams.
00:32:21.460 And they're far worse, but I didn't think it was appropriate to talk about.
00:32:27.100 It's truly unbelievable, folks.
00:32:29.040 And that some of those things you raffled off there are under that $2 billion, that nearly $2 billion, $1.9 billion.
00:32:36.380 Now the Supreme Court has greenlighted to go ahead and keep spending because Joe Biden said it was OK.
00:32:41.520 The money Stacey the Tank Abrams got, the learning in Asia, the Hamas Sesame Street.
00:32:47.180 All that good stuff is allowed to go forward because the Supreme Court says so.
00:32:51.300 Thanks to Amy Comey Barrett and John Roberts.
00:32:55.420 Folks, I want to bring in our guest today.
00:32:56.820 He's the host of the PAS Report, good friend of mine, great American, and he's also a professor, Nicholas Giordano.
00:33:03.600 Nick, thank you so much for joining us today on this monumous day in America.
00:33:08.180 Well, John, it's great to be on the Great America Show.
00:33:11.300 And it's interesting that Trump gives this litany.
00:33:14.200 Every semester when I get to the bureaucracy in my class, I do actually a litany of wasteful spending programs in the government.
00:33:22.460 And Trump was right when he said that there's far worse out there.
00:33:26.100 You know, we spent $2.3 million injecting dogs with cocaine to study overdoses.
00:33:31.580 $3 million injecting hamsters with steroids to watch them fight.
00:33:35.660 $2.3 million spent on Chinese prostitutes to study Chinese prostitutes and HIV AIDS.
00:33:43.140 Did you say Eric Smallwell?
00:33:46.340 Yes, Fang Fang may have been included in that study.
00:33:49.000 We're double-checking that to find that out.
00:33:50.820 But there are reports that maybe she's involved.
00:33:54.220 And this is the ridiculous nature of government.
00:33:56.560 I mean, you know, we spent $3.3 billion as a federal government on office furniture in a three-year period.
00:34:03.900 $3.3 billion.
00:34:05.240 Were they, like, working on milk carts before that?
00:34:07.420 I mean, it's insane when you look at the ridiculous spending.
00:34:11.560 But what Trump did was brilliant because he's connecting with the people.
00:34:16.720 The people at home, doesn't matter if they're Democrat or Republican, when they hear this, they get aggravated.
00:34:21.640 They get annoyed when you have students.
00:34:24.400 So I have plenty of students that have to go to college and take out student loans.
00:34:28.380 But when you hear the United States government's giving the country of Egypt $15 million for Egyptian students to get scholarships to attend Egyptian colleges, it begins to open people's eyes.
00:34:41.000 Who is this government serving?
00:34:42.280 Is it serving we, the people, or is it serving nefarious nonprofit organizations, other governments, corporations?
00:34:50.920 It really is a big problem in Washington, and it's gotten so out of hand.
00:34:55.080 You know, the crazy thing to me is, I say this all the time, the crazy thing to me, because I wake up each day and I read the news for a few hours, and I go, oh, my God, this is crazy.
00:35:04.000 And I say, well, I say this every day.
00:35:05.440 This is crazy.
00:35:05.980 But it's only getting crazier.
00:35:07.720 Is the hatred the Marxist left has for Elon Musk?
00:35:10.540 He doesn't need this.
00:35:12.320 He doesn't need this headache, just like Donald Trump didn't need this headache to run for office again.
00:35:16.660 He did it because he loves America.
00:35:18.420 Elon Musk is another one, a career, lifelong Democrat, gave to Democrats.
00:35:23.100 After President Trump was nearly assassinated, he decided to change his mind and join the right side of history, doing a lot for Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, helping him carry that state, in my opinion.
00:35:34.420 But it's a man who doesn't need this nonsense.
00:35:36.800 He doesn't need this drama, and he doesn't need what they're going to do to his company.
00:35:40.700 People are saying, oh, he's doing it for the government contracts.
00:35:43.140 I hate to break it to you.
00:35:43.940 He got government contracts under Joe Biden.
00:35:46.060 And I hate to break it to you even further.
00:35:48.560 Obama got rid of NASA, so we no longer have NASA.
00:35:51.040 We have Elon Musk, a man who I trust probably more than NASA, a private corporation, to go ahead and run our space missions and do everything we have to do up in space.
00:36:01.660 He's the only man I've ever seen land a rocket on its tail.
00:36:03.780 A man I've always seen land a rocket in a cradle.
00:36:05.720 Let's just be honest here.
00:36:07.320 If you look at both President Trump and Elon Musk, they're two people that went into government and actually lost money, right?
00:36:14.200 I mean, you look at the former Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
00:36:17.920 You look at a lot of elected officials.
00:36:20.000 You look at some of these bureaucrats.
00:36:22.380 Well, they got extremely wealthy off the backs of the American people.
00:36:25.520 Yet you look at someone like President Trump and Elon Musk.
00:36:28.800 As you stated, they don't need the money.
00:36:30.560 They don't have to do this.
00:36:31.500 They're actually losing money by doing this, and it shows you their commitment.
00:36:35.980 And I think it was hysterical when Elon Musk is like, I'm not trying to steal Social Security numbers and steal people's identity to buy stuff.
00:36:42.680 I can afford things.
00:36:44.060 But what's revealing was Senator Schumer a few weeks ago, as he was screaming into a microphone, that, of course, there's wasting government, that everyone knows there's wasting government.
00:36:56.380 But there's a proper way to tackle the waste.
00:36:59.100 That was his words.
00:37:00.620 And it's like you've been there for 30-some-watt years, just like many of your colleagues, and you're acknowledging the waste, and yet you haven't lifted a finger over that 30-year period.
00:37:10.360 You don't care because it's not your money.
00:37:12.640 It's taxpayer money that's being wasted.
00:37:15.000 And I think that a lot of these politicians have forgotten who they serve.
00:37:19.600 They are public servants.
00:37:20.940 They're there to serve the people.
00:37:22.280 They're not there to rule over the people.
00:37:24.480 But it shows you how little regard they have for the American taxpayer.
00:37:27.100 We go to work every single day.
00:37:29.520 We work hard for our money.
00:37:31.300 And this money is just flowing out to things that are not improving American society.
00:37:36.760 It's not benefiting America.
00:37:38.840 The only thing it's doing is mortgaging our future, as we have a $36.5 trillion national debt that we have to spend a trillion dollars a year in interest on.
00:37:47.540 And it's slated to go up to $2 trillion in the next five years if we don't do anything about it.
00:37:52.120 Yeah, and President Trump mentioned something last night you hadn't heard a long time from a Republican or a Democrat.
00:37:57.540 Balancing the budget is something he's interested in doing.
00:38:00.000 It's the first time I've heard a candidate talk about balancing a budget in a very, very long time.
00:38:04.380 And he wants to do it in a few short years, where most Republicans, when they even bring it up, it's usually a 10-year period.
00:38:10.040 Or 20 or 100 or whatever, or whenever their time on expires or when they're going to die.
00:38:15.200 We'll do it.
00:38:16.060 I'm 80 years old.
00:38:17.120 Say I've got another 15 years to live.
00:38:18.640 We'll do it in 15 years.
00:38:20.440 Speaking of, you said Nancy Pelosi.
00:38:22.040 I don't know another 84-year-old woman or man who travels 12 hours a week, six hours each way from D.C. to San Francisco for $174,000 a year when I'm worth over $200 million.
00:38:37.740 And I ask everyone to look at it of the side of common sense because Donald Trump rules predominantly on common sense because everything that's done in the government,
00:38:47.180 if you look at it from a common sense perspective, it's like, oh, well, maybe things should be done this way.
00:38:51.820 Maybe things should be done that way.
00:38:53.040 It doesn't take a brain scientist to come here and sit that and say we shouldn't be spending billions of dollars a year on transgender mice and not billions of dollars on just the mice,
00:39:04.240 but just overwhelmingly on stupid things, Sesame Street overseas, whatever the heck it is.
00:39:10.620 Well, this was never the intent of government when we were founded as a country.
00:39:14.680 And that's part of the problem that the government has gotten its hands in all these different areas that it was never designed to be in.
00:39:22.620 And it's not like government ever provides good service.
00:39:25.880 And I'll just bring up DMV.
00:39:27.600 It has nothing to do with the federal government.
00:39:29.060 But nobody goes to the Department of Motor Vehicle and leaves there saying, oh, that was a great experience.
00:39:33.720 I wish I could do this more often.
00:39:35.880 You're leaving DMV and you're angry at something.
00:39:38.940 And that's part of the problem.
00:39:40.320 You have a government that has grown too big.
00:39:43.840 It's grown too oppressive and it needs to be pared down.
00:39:47.520 And Donald Trump, when he was giving a speech yesterday, it was brilliant.
00:39:51.580 He was talking about getting rid of a waste that connects with people.
00:39:55.160 And if you look at every issue we hit on, it's issues that won him the election.
00:40:00.100 But more importantly, it's issues that are overwhelming.
00:40:03.620 Right.
00:40:03.880 Eighty percent of the American people don't believe men should be competing in women's sports.
00:40:08.660 Seventy percent of the American people want to see waste, fraud and abuse be cut out of your government.
00:40:15.240 You look, 70 percent want to see the war in Ukraine end.
00:40:19.460 So he was picking up on what the American people want.
00:40:22.300 Seventy percent of the American people want to see a secure border.
00:40:25.800 And I think that the president hammered all those for a specific reason last night because he knew.
00:40:31.380 So it's funny you say the DMV because that's what I use all the time here.
00:40:35.300 I got to give the hats off to my DMV, man.
00:40:37.560 They've really stepped up their game and they've gotten really, really good.
00:40:40.700 I actually leave that place not mad at the world anymore because they've gotten it down to simple.
00:40:45.240 They I don't know.
00:40:45.980 Maybe they privatize something because now they do appointments.
00:40:48.720 Nick, you're in and you're out in 15 minutes.
00:40:50.400 And I've never seen that.
00:40:52.000 But it all depends on what you have to do.
00:40:53.760 Right.
00:40:54.060 That's true.
00:40:54.720 That is very true.
00:40:55.800 Luckily, I don't really break the law that much.
00:40:57.700 So it's usually just a license renewal or whatever.
00:41:00.940 But I got some new numbers for a good friend of mine.
00:41:04.340 Man, it's on the show very often.
00:41:06.000 The great Mark Mitchell of Rasmussen before we got on the show, the right track, wrong track of the country.
00:41:11.120 And President Trump's overall approval rating as it sits today, right track of the country, overall 44 percent.
00:41:17.460 But I want to narrow it on a little bit, a little number, 54 percent approval over the age from the ages of 18 to 39.
00:41:24.780 And I'll tell you why that's so important, because over the last year,
00:41:27.700 two years going back to looking at these elections, the Republican Party was dying, Nick,
00:41:34.040 because the overwhelming majority of Republicans are older people.
00:41:38.380 Sixty five plus is statistically what the average voter is for the Republican Party.
00:41:44.020 Right.
00:41:45.200 We're not all invincible.
00:41:46.320 I hate to say it.
00:41:47.340 You and I sit here right now.
00:41:48.560 We're both dying as we speak to each other.
00:41:50.660 It's just it's just the reality.
00:41:52.620 The day we're born, we start dying.
00:41:54.000 It sucks.
00:41:54.380 But quite honestly, the way this country is going, I don't want to be around forever.
00:41:58.580 And I don't want to either.
00:42:00.340 But the reason that the 18 to 39 is very important is because that's the future of our country.
00:42:05.220 That's who's going to run this country one day.
00:42:06.860 It's scary to think that a Gen Z or a millennial is going to be in the White House one day.
00:42:10.560 But he or she is going to be.
00:42:12.980 And notice I don't say they.
00:42:14.660 He or she is going to be.
00:42:16.020 But President Trump, what do you think he's done for the Republican Party, for the MAGA movement that's got him so highly approved by this this margin of people of 18 to 39?
00:42:30.640 Whereas five years ago, Nick, it was a dying breed.
00:42:33.480 It was a dying demographic of people who supported the Republican Party.
00:42:37.660 Well, let's be honest.
00:42:39.120 The Democrats have had a stranglehold on that age demographic for at least 50 years.
00:42:44.720 I mean, you could actually go back further than that.
00:42:46.860 Look at Winston Churchill, who said, you know, at 19, if you're not a liberal, you don't have a heart.
00:42:52.120 If you're not a conservative by 40, you don't have a brain.
00:42:54.940 But we are seeing this major shift amongst young people.
00:42:58.540 And there's a reason why we're seeing this shift.
00:43:01.260 Part of the reason is simply that they've been ignored.
00:43:04.100 The Democrats will pay lip service to the young generation.
00:43:07.640 But under Democrat leadership, the American dream has gotten further out of reach.
00:43:12.280 The cost of everything has increased dramatically.
00:43:14.540 They don't want to live in their parents' basement, but they can't afford rent.
00:43:17.640 They can't afford to buy a home.
00:43:19.560 They're told that they had to go to college and take out massive student loans to be successful.
00:43:23.660 And then they graduate with this piece of paper with some stupid degree program and they can't find the job.
00:43:29.060 And they took out the student loans.
00:43:30.460 At the same time, Trump is pointing out that, hey, they're giving 40 million dollars in scholarships to Burmese students to go to school in Burma and 15 million in Egypt for Egyptian students to go to school in Egypt.
00:43:41.620 Well, why do I have to take out student loans and we're providing them with scholarships?
00:43:45.900 So I think we are starting to see a sea change.
00:43:48.880 But I think what nobody paid attention to was locking them down during the coronavirus.
00:43:55.880 This is an age demographic, particularly those between the ages of 15 to 25 that had two years of their life stolen from them.
00:44:06.040 They missed out on the major life milestones all because of the Anthony Fauci's, the Randy Weingarten's, the Democrats, Emperor Cuomo, all because of that.
00:44:15.860 And I don't think people realize how bitter and resentful young people are for that, that they lost two years of social development, two years of education, that they're further behind the wheel because of all the things that were done for them.
00:44:29.620 And I think that played a major role.
00:44:31.440 And Republicans need to continue to tap into that bitterness and that resentment, remind them every single day of what was done to them, because I think that that was a turning point in our society.
00:44:43.700 Yeah. I want to take a quick break here, Nick.
00:44:46.200 When we return, I want to go into some new polling that I just got out of, sent over to me from Mark Mitchell of Rasmussen.
00:44:53.020 Immigration numbers, where Americans stand on the gold card visa program, all that good stuff.
00:44:59.080 When we come back, we're talking with Nicholas Giordano, professor, and he's host of the PAS Report podcast, wherever you guys get your podcasts.

00:46:18.060 Folks, we're back with Nicholas Yerdan, a professor of political science.
00:46:24.160 He's also the host of the PAS Report podcast.
00:46:26.040 As I said, we'll post the link in description for you in this podcast episode, so you can join Nick for his podcast.
00:46:32.740 Nick, as I mentioned before we went to break, I got some new numbers from my good friend, Mark Mitchell at Rasmussen,
00:46:37.080 and I want to get your take on some of these numbers that we're witnessing.
00:46:41.740 This is from February 27th, conducted by Rasmussen Reports.
00:46:46.840 And the first one we're going to go through is President Trump and his green card program, the $5 million, or his gold card.
00:46:52.800 The question Mark asked to the recipients, President Trump has suggested replacing an existing visa program for foreign investors with a, quote, gold card visa that would cost $5 million.
00:47:03.640 Now, President Trump mentioned last night, this is all part of his balancing the budget to raise over a trillion dollars in these gold cards.
00:47:10.300 Do you approve, disapprove of the gold card?
00:47:12.620 So among males, strongly approved, 22%.
00:47:15.840 Somewhat approved, 19%.
00:47:18.240 These are the overall likely voters, rather.
00:47:20.440 22%, so let's do some math in public, about 41% of likely voters either strongly approve or somewhat approve, okay?
00:47:29.560 Now, if we go into a little bit further down to which is better for America, poor, now this one's interesting,
00:47:38.460 poor migrants who work for a living or rich immigrants who bring investment money to the country.
00:47:45.160 Among likely voters, 43% say poor immigrants who work for a living, okay?
00:47:52.800 Now, if you go ahead and look at it a little bit further on the tab, 62% of those respondents, Nick, are Democrats.
00:48:00.340 Why do you think it is that the Democrats want to bring poor migrants into this country to work,
00:48:04.480 rather than these rich people who are going to invest billions and billions of dollars into the country?
00:48:09.660 I have my suspicions, but I want to hear yours first.
00:48:13.740 Well, there's two reasons.
00:48:14.900 One is the Democrats are known to be virtue signalers, right?
00:48:18.000 That they want to seem like they're the moral holy warriors of the 21st century.
00:48:21.760 They want to pat themselves on the back as if they're high and mighty and noble,
00:48:25.120 but they don't want them in their communities.
00:48:27.140 That's for sure.
00:48:27.860 But secondly, and I think more importantly, is because if you bring in people that don't have any money,
00:48:35.680 that they don't have any resources, they have to depend on government.
00:48:39.180 Boom.
00:48:39.340 And that's what it comes down to, the big government apparatus.
00:48:41.820 The more people that depend on government, the more reliant they become on government,
00:48:45.920 the easier they are to control.
00:48:48.320 Let's understand that there are many countries out there that have this idea of the gold card visa program,
00:48:55.140 and nations are sovereign.
00:48:57.940 They get to determine who comes into their country and who doesn't.
00:49:01.440 Now, just with common sense, again, Trump is bringing that back.
00:49:04.540 When we look at common sense, why wouldn't you want to bring in financially capable people
00:49:10.120 who can invest in your country and make it a better, stronger place?
00:49:13.360 I mean, that was the point of the immigration system.
00:49:16.380 It's people that could improve our society.
00:49:19.060 As a matter of fact, if you go back in our immigration history,
00:49:22.320 you were penalized if you couldn't take care of yourself.
00:49:26.000 If you had to access a government service, you were actually banned from getting citizenship.
00:49:31.000 If you accessed more than one or two government services, you were done.
00:49:34.300 You weren't going to be able to become a citizen.
00:49:36.340 And you want people to come that are going to benefit society.
00:49:40.700 It doesn't make sense to import a bunch of people that you're going to end up having to take care of.
00:49:45.440 And that's why we do need some type of immigration reform, both with the legal immigration,
00:49:50.680 because you look at it, it doesn't make any sense.
00:49:53.240 So we grant citizenship to an individual that's 45, 50 years old.
00:49:58.400 And then that individual could sponsor their parents that are 75, 80 years old to come to the United States.
00:50:04.280 How does that make any sense?
00:50:05.580 A 75 or 80 year old is not going to be able to contribute to the benefits of the United States.
00:50:11.200 They're not going to be able to pay taxes.
00:50:13.020 They're not going to be able to work.
00:50:14.640 They're not going to be productive.
00:50:16.160 In fact, when you get that age, you're going to be costing society money.
00:50:19.540 So we do have to reform things.
00:50:21.200 And this is one of those areas that's very easy.
00:50:24.120 I mean, you know, 90 percent of people should support this idea of a gold card visa.
00:50:29.080 You know, 10 percent you're never going to get, period.
00:50:31.140 But 90 percent should support it because it benefits our country, greater investment.
00:50:35.380 Now, if you look a little bit further into these numbers on these crosstabs, and I apologize, folks,
00:50:39.080 it's hard for me even to see, and I have younger eyes.
00:50:42.100 So I'm sorry for everyone who's sitting here struggling to read, but we're giving you the
00:50:45.920 numbers here.
00:50:46.780 If you look at these numbers, so the 43 percent of likely voter respondents who said poor immigrants,
00:50:53.240 62 percent, like I said, Democrat.
00:50:55.500 The smallest demographic is one that we had just spoken about, Nick.
00:50:58.780 Thirty-nine percent from 18 to 39 is the smallest out of the three demographics.
00:51:05.940 Forty to 64 is 44 percent.
00:51:08.640 Sixty-five plus is 47 percent.
00:51:10.720 And it's because they know that their jobs are at risk.
00:51:13.420 We all worked some low-level paying job in our lives.
00:51:17.260 I used to sweep tennis courts for a living when I was younger.
00:51:20.520 I delivered pizza when I was younger.
00:51:21.920 My first job was dipping cookies at a bakery.
00:51:25.180 There you go.
00:51:26.000 As I got older and more advanced, I started DJing in nightclubs, and I thought I was the
00:51:30.080 biggest baller on earth.
00:51:31.020 But, you know, we've all worked jobs, Nick, that were low-paying, but they got us to where
00:51:36.660 we are here today.
00:51:37.880 And based off of this polling from Rasmussen, 39 percent are a little nervous that these poor
00:51:44.300 migrants that have come here are going to take their jobs.
00:51:46.540 Now, you mentioned something else, which we have some numbers on as well, and that's
00:51:50.680 Social Security and the Social Security benefits that may be there or may not be there when
00:51:56.040 we are ready for them.
00:51:57.520 The first question he asked, how confident are you that Social Security system will pay
00:52:01.060 you all the promised retirement benefits during your lifetime?
00:52:04.220 Only 26 percent say they're very confident.
00:52:08.520 26 percent say also not very confident, 15 percent not confident at all.
00:52:12.820 So a pretty mixed number there, you know, pretty close to 50-50 on people who don't
00:52:18.420 believe we're getting Social Security.
00:52:21.700 Yeah, well, I mean, you kind of see the hypocrisy in the American people there, right?
00:52:25.300 Because everyone is concerned about Social Security, yet it's considered the third rail
00:52:29.500 of politics for a reason.
00:52:30.800 The second you try and touch it, you're getting thrown out of office because the AARP is going
00:52:35.540 to mobilize and bash you.
00:52:37.880 But the reality is that Social Security cannot continue in its current format.
00:52:41.640 Now, what you paid into the system, the government does have to give you backs.
00:52:46.640 However, it will come at a huge cost.
00:52:48.880 We're going to have to sacrifice and cut every single other program in order to pay Social
00:52:53.660 Security recipients in the future.
00:52:55.820 So when people complain about, you know, cuts now, well, we're going to have to gut entire
00:53:00.680 programs once everything really hits the fan.
00:53:03.340 I mean, let's be honest here.
00:53:04.700 Both Democrats and Republicans have manipulated our economy for so long.
00:53:09.520 They manipulated the Social Security system and they spent that money.
00:53:13.880 And now we're running out of deficit because we're not making enough babies.
00:53:17.880 There's not enough workers to replenish the baby boomers that are going to be retiring over
00:53:22.640 the course of the next 15 years.
00:53:24.360 It's a disaster.
00:53:25.440 So it has to be reformed in some way.
00:53:28.400 How you do that?
00:53:29.420 I can't answer that question.
00:53:31.320 You have politicians that have tried to speak up about this for a long time.
00:53:35.400 Right now, Rick Scott, Senator Rick Scott, is actually one of the leaders trying to get
00:53:39.680 some type of Social Security reform, but it cannot remain the same.
00:53:43.980 And we can do something where we can lift the caps on taking Social Security out of people's
00:53:48.520 salaries.
00:53:49.540 We could, you know, maybe do some means testing for the extremely wealthy, but that still won't
00:53:54.860 cover it.
00:53:55.560 What we have to do is reform it for those that are younger.
00:53:58.780 OK, for those that have time in the system and not for nothing.
00:54:02.280 The reality is that if you were to put this money aside and allow people to use it in
00:54:07.720 their own investments, maybe a 401k or something like that, the return on investment would have
00:54:12.360 been far greater than what Social Security is going to pay you out.
00:54:15.260 And so why not give the younger people an opportunity to actually have a stake in their
00:54:19.860 investment, to actually learn how to invest in finance and compound interest?
00:54:25.020 And maybe it's better that they get to keep the money and put it in a retirement account
00:54:29.780 rather than have the government handle it and spend it on, you know, hamsters taking
00:54:34.600 steroids and I'm watching them fight.
00:54:37.260 The next question he asked will move past because it's a pretty, pretty even response.
00:54:41.480 Which political party do you trust more?
00:54:43.420 Forty three percent say Democrat, 44 percent say Republican.
00:54:46.120 So inside the margin of error.
00:54:47.860 But this next one is to me is very interesting.
00:54:50.120 Would you support or oppose having the Department of Government Efficiency, also known as Doge,
00:54:53.780 which is headed by Elon Musk, do an audit of the Social Security system?
00:54:57.300 OK, 41 percent strongly support, 18 percent somewhat support.
00:55:02.760 So you're about 60 percent there who support it.
00:55:06.780 Somewhat opposed, 12 percent strongly oppose, 23 percent.
00:55:11.900 So you're about 35 percent on that.
00:55:13.680 So strong support for an audit of it.
00:55:17.100 Now, the number that stands out to me that's sort of interesting is 62 percent of Republicans
00:55:22.580 strongly support it.
00:55:23.720 Only 22 percent of Democrats strongly support it.
00:55:27.720 But the one that's very interesting is strongly oppose.
00:55:30.720 Thirty four percent of Democrats strongly oppose an audit of the Social Security system.
00:55:37.360 So what are they so worried about finding?
00:55:41.120 Well, I think that's the best question to follow up with in these polls is, well, why?
00:55:47.620 Why are you against an audit that could expose some of the ways for an abuse?
00:55:51.920 I mean, listen, President Trump gave out a number, you know, one person that's older than
00:55:55.740 the country that was in the Social Security system.
00:55:58.220 It doesn't necessarily mean that they were receiving it, but they were in the Social Security
00:56:01.340 system.
00:56:02.280 That shows a major failure.
00:56:04.000 That shows a major breakdown within the system.
00:56:07.620 And Trump ticked off a lot of numbers in different age groups, those over 100, 150.
00:56:11.780 And why wouldn't you want to clean up the system?
00:56:15.440 It's the same thing with like voter rolls, right?
00:56:17.320 Democrats oppose cleaning up the voter roll.
00:56:19.260 But why?
00:56:20.260 If it's going to fix some of the waste, fraud and abuse that's occurring, we have to get
00:56:25.300 to the root of it.
00:56:26.160 And those that oppose it is there's only two reasons.
00:56:29.720 One is ignorance.
00:56:31.620 Well, maybe the second reason is they're the ones scamming the system and they don't want
00:56:35.400 to be exposed themselves.
00:56:36.680 You know, that's the only way, the only thing I can logically think of, because nobody should
00:56:42.200 be opposed for the government ordering the system.
00:56:44.700 Listen, I was a consultant with the government in Homeland Security Emergency Management Arena
00:56:48.720 up until 2021.
00:56:50.340 We were still working on the old DOS systems.
00:56:55.280 Wow.
00:56:56.040 It was not efficient.
00:56:57.600 OK, the computers we were working with just to log in took about a half hour just to upload
00:57:02.900 anything took about 20, 25 minutes.
00:57:05.200 And we're talking about very small files.
00:57:07.780 And then the DOS system, it's very clunky.
00:57:09.920 It's very difficult to navigate.
00:57:11.700 And that's what they were working with.
00:57:13.520 So why can't we modernize the equipment in order to save money?
00:57:17.660 And I think that when we look at the idea of people being against an audit, it's ignorance.
00:57:24.700 It's people that are corrupt and scamming the system.
00:57:27.020 And then maybe it's because Trump proposed it.
00:57:29.280 And as we saw last night in his speech, you have to resist anything that comes out of Trump's
00:57:34.040 mouth.
00:57:34.280 Yeah.
00:57:35.500 Lastly, the last question he answered, which is a perfect segue here, is how likely is
00:57:39.880 that the audit of Social Security system would reveal widespread fraud in the program?
00:57:44.500 I did some math here while you were working because I didn't want to embarrass myself on
00:57:47.680 camera.
00:57:48.540 61% of likely voters say it's either very likely or somewhat likely.
00:57:53.920 33% say not very likely or not likely at all.
00:57:57.740 So you've got double the amount of people who have distrust in this government and the
00:58:03.020 way that they're running things.
00:58:03.760 I also have some news for these people, Nick.
00:58:06.220 If we look into these entitlement reforms and we find that we're wasting billions of dollars
00:58:11.940 a year over the course of five years, 10 years, we may not have to reform entitlements.
00:58:16.420 If there's that much money in waste, fraud and abuse, that's a great point.
00:58:22.500 And let's be honest here.
00:58:23.460 The Government Accountability Office has been warning about fraud for years.
00:58:26.720 I mean, they estimate Medicaid alone, Medicaid, one program that costs about $600 billion per
00:58:32.440 year.
00:58:32.700 They estimate between the Medicaid claims that between 10 and 30 percent of all claims are
00:58:37.780 fraudulent, that it's either people that shouldn't qualify for Medicaid, it's doctors defrauding
00:58:42.340 the system.
00:58:43.100 That's an enormous number on a $600 billion program when we look at disability, right?
00:58:49.440 So the workplace has gotten safer over the course of the last 100 years.
00:58:54.000 I think everyone would agree with me out there.
00:58:56.460 Well, then why have workplace accidents, disability claims increased every year?
00:59:01.680 If the workplace is getting safer, why are there more claims than ever before?
00:59:07.360 And I think when you start to approach it from that perspective, you see that there is massive
00:59:11.700 fraud in the system.
00:59:12.520 And I think you're on to something that maybe if we could root out most of the fraud, maybe
00:59:17.180 we don't have to cut the entitlements at all.
00:59:19.560 And that's a key point that most people don't talk about.
00:59:22.680 Instead, what's been told to us over the course of the last 30 years is that, well, it's more
00:59:27.500 expensive to tackle the fraud rather than just let it happen.
00:59:32.340 That's what we've been told.
00:59:33.520 And that's a lie.
00:59:34.700 That has been a lie for decades, yet that's what they push.
00:59:38.380 As we wrap up here, I want to get your thoughts on one more thing.
00:59:41.960 Is this too much to ask for that we just trust our government, whether it be secure elections,
00:59:46.460 whether it be entitlement programs, whether it be where we're spending money overseas, here
00:59:50.460 at home, I mean, is it too much to ask for our government to be transparent with us, to
00:59:56.660 tell us this is where the money is going?
00:59:58.380 I think, and I'm going to push this along to the Trump administration, that each and every
01:00:02.900 year that a budget comes out, it should be broken down in layman's terms for the American
01:00:07.320 people to see.
01:00:08.740 Line one, line two, line three, this is how much money is being spent in the military combined.
01:00:13.980 This is how much money is being spent on entitlements combined.
01:00:16.620 This is how much money we're sending overseas combined.
01:00:19.620 And then on a crosstab, this is how much money is going to Ukraine.
01:00:22.380 This is how much money is going to Israel, X, Y, and Z, so on and so forth.
01:00:26.900 So the American people can appreciate the transparency of a government because we've
01:00:33.100 never had that.
01:00:33.960 You get the last thoughts here, Nick.
01:00:35.420 Well, I constantly say that there should be a law that no bill is larger than 20 pages
01:00:39.280 and written in fifth grade language, fifth grade education reading levels, because
01:00:44.860 the people do need to know.
01:00:46.060 And listen, part of this is our fault because the American people have disengaged from the
01:00:50.760 political process over the last several decades.
01:00:53.440 The government has gone rampant.
01:00:55.260 And at the same time we've been disengaged, we've been taught that we should trust government.
01:01:01.220 Meanwhile, our founding fathers had the exact opposite.
01:01:03.660 They said, always question the government.
01:01:05.400 Never trust government.
01:01:06.540 Always ask questions.
01:01:07.440 Even if you agree with the policy, it's incumbent on you to ask the questions and hold them
01:01:11.980 accountable.
01:01:12.340 I believe that transparency is how you fix the corruption that has been built in, not
01:01:18.320 just in the last couple of years, not just under the Biden administration, but decades
01:01:22.340 of abuses that we have allowed to take place.
01:01:25.060 And there's been zero accountability.
01:01:27.060 One of the first things I learned as an adolescent, as a kid, is my parents told me trust is earned.
01:01:31.980 It's not giving to you.
01:01:33.740 What has the government done for us transparency wise that and like I said, everything is common
01:01:38.800 sense.
01:01:39.240 It comes down to common sense.
01:01:40.240 And you said fifth grade, it's sad to think of it that way, but everything could be boiled
01:01:43.980 down to fifth grade education so that it's understandable for everyone to read.
01:01:49.860 It shouldn't be written for lawyers only to be able to read.
01:01:53.400 We should be teaching this in schools for fifth graders and sixth graders so that they have
01:01:57.640 a fair chance in society.
01:01:58.880 And we don't have to go to India or Asia to get our our tech workers or our high performing,
01:02:03.740 high output Ivy leaguers.
01:02:05.560 It shouldn't be like that.
01:02:06.840 We're subsidizing their educations.
01:02:09.100 But what has the government done, Nick, as we wrap up here to earn our trust?
01:02:15.460 Nothing.
01:02:15.800 In fact, it's been the exact opposite, right?
01:02:17.780 I mean, you look at the NSA with the prison program and spying on the American people.
01:02:22.200 You look at the FBI targeting parents at school board meetings.
01:02:25.120 The FBI labeling traditional Catholics as potential domestic violent extremists.
01:02:29.240 You look at the IRS and how they targeted conservative groups.
01:02:32.900 I could go on and on and on with government abuses.
01:02:36.520 They haven't done anything to earn our trust.
01:02:38.180 It's been the exact opposite.
01:02:39.440 They are the reason that there is so much distrust against the government right now.
01:02:44.160 And the only way to clean it up, and I think that's what Trump is doing,
01:02:47.360 he wants to be transparent.
01:02:48.660 He wants to show how this sausage is made, how ugly it is, and then begin to fix it.
01:02:53.740 I said it once and I'll say it again.
01:02:55.440 Common sense wins every time.
