00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm Lou Dabbs with the Great America Show Midday Update for Monday, April 1st.
00:00:05.840 Congress is off this week as they are likely the only employees in America to get two weeks off for the Easter holiday.
00:00:12.600 It may be for the best, considering every time they're in session under Speaker Mike Johnson, they find something destructive to do.
00:00:20.900 House Intel Chairman Mike Turner was on CBS's Defacing the Nation yesterday and is eager to get back to work.
00:00:28.320 Why, you may ask? Well, it's not so he could secure our border or fund America First objectives or de-weaponize the government.
00:00:36.280 It's because, of course, he wants to send more money to Ukraine.
00:00:40.580 With respect to Ukraine, I mean, this is one really where I think, you know, the world has seen that this is a war of aggression by Russia,
00:00:47.600 that this is authoritarianism versus democracy, that just the brutality that is occurring,
00:00:52.920 the murderous nature of what Russia is doing has to be responded to. We have to continue our support. 0.90
00:00:58.320 The Speaker has made it clear that he supports Ukraine, both directly to Zelensky publicly, he's made these statements, and to the Secretary General of NATO.
00:01:07.300 The Speaker has made very clear statements that when we get back, it's the next top agenda.
00:01:14.760 After having just passed all the bills that fund the federal government, I believe this is going to have overwhelming support in Congress,
00:01:20.960 and we'll put a bill on the President's desk.
00:01:22.780 It would be nice if Mike Turner had any imagination, any intellect at all, any understanding of his responsibilities.
00:01:31.800 I do not understand how in the world this man was ever elected.
00:01:36.600 Funding Ukraine is his priority in the midst of all that is being done to this country by the Marxist Dems and our enemies, 0.89
00:01:44.920 whether Russia, China, or Iran.
00:01:48.380 Well, a new report from the New York Post showing Democrat clients of the daughter of New York Judge Juan Merchant have raised about $93 million off the case so far.
00:01:58.780 The judge's daughter, Lauren Merchant, is president of Authentic Campaigns, a Chicago-based progressive political consulting firm,
00:02:06.500 whose top clients include Adam Schiff and the Senate Majority Pack.
00:02:10.620 The Schiff's campaign brought in roughly $20 million, and the Senate leadership pack brought in about $73 million.
00:02:17.480 It's an absolute disgrace, and of course, absolutely no conflict of interest between the judge and his money-raising daughter for the Marxist Dems.
00:02:27.580 Be sure to join us each and every day for The Great America Show and Lou Dobbs tonight, weeknight, 7 p.m., on Frank Speech and Rumble.
00:02:35.200 I'm Lou Dobbs with this Great America Show update.
