00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Thursday, April 2nd.
00:00:04.940 Happy Thursday, folks.
00:00:06.420 Some breaking news happening just moments ago.
00:00:08.840 President Trump has ousted Pam Bondi as Attorney General.
00:00:12.580 According to multiple sources, she will be replaced by now Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
00:00:18.520 In recent days, President Trump reportedly talked to his allies about the possibility of firing Bondi.
00:00:23.440 And he talked to her personally Wednesday night about the possibility that it would happen
00:00:27.060 In the conversation, which one source described as tough, Trump indicated Bondi was not long for her role and he'd be replacing her in the near future.
00:00:35.500 We didn't know it would be just one day, less than 24 hours later.
00:00:38.800 Sources say that Bondi was told she'd be given a different role and a different job later.
00:00:43.340 In their conversation, two sources said Trump floated the possibility of appointing her as a judge after her departure from the Department of Justice.
00:00:50.700 Bondi was in attendance for President Trump's address to the nation on Wednesday night.
00:00:53.820 President Trump has reportedly been frustrated with Bondi on multiple fronts.
00:00:57.460 In particular, he was upset of her handling of the Epstein files.
00:01:00.780 He's also fumed about her not investigating or prosecuting enough of the bad actors and deep staters who came after President Trump and sought to undermine American democracy.
00:01:11.220 So to that we say, good riddance to Pam Bondi. 0.99
00:01:14.180 It's also being reported that Tulsi Gabbard, the ODNI, may be on the chopping block next.
00:01:19.980 President Trump has privately asked cabinet officials in recent weeks whether he should replace his director of national intelligence, vetting frustrations that she shielded former deputy who undercut his rationale for the war with Iran, according to The Guardian.
00:01:34.200 It's not clear if Trump will actually fire Gavard over the episode.
00:01:37.240 Currently, there is no standout candidate to take that job, or I should say anyone who's not in the deep state, to go ahead and take that job.
00:01:46.500 But we're going to monitor that one as closely as well to see what happens there.
00:01:52.220 And as I said last night, President Trump giving that primetime address to the nation with an update and a timeline of events on what's going on with Iran.
00:02:00.580 And more importantly, sending a blistering message to Iran, letting them know they're going to be getting hit extremely hard over the next two to three weeks.
00:02:09.480 And they're going to get sent back to the Stone Age where they belong should they decide to not make a deal with America.
00:02:15.960 which would, of course, include giving up their enriched uranium, the whole point of Operation Epic Fury.
00:02:24.060 Take a listen to President Trump with that blistering message for the mullahs and the Iranian radicals over there. 1.00
00:02:31.900 Fully achieved. Thanks to the progress we've made, I can say tonight that we are on track to complete all of America's military objectives shortly, very shortly.
00:02:42.780 We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks.
00:02:48.520 We're going to bring them back to the Stone Ages where they belong. 0.82
00:02:53.340 In the meantime, discussions are ongoing.
00:02:56.140 Regime change was not our goal.
00:02:58.580 We never said regime change, but regime change has occurred because of all of their original leaders' death.
00:03:07.660 They're all dead.
00:03:08.980 So as President Trump said, that war, he believes, should be wrapped up in the next two to three weeks.
00:03:14.260 And if they don't want to make a deal, he's going to continue to pummel them back to the Stone Ages.
00:03:19.300 Since being fired back in 2023 by CNN, Don Lamont has been making a living by becoming part of the anti-Trump media collection of Trump deranged liberals and bitter former Republicans who all speak only to each other and appear on each other's podcasts.
00:03:34.580 This week, during an appearance on Pod Save America, another podcast,
00:03:39.200 Lamont hilariously signaled that he's open to the idea of running for president
00:03:42.880 and actually said that he'd do a better job than President Trump.
00:03:46.720 It's amazing how highly Don Lamont thinks of himself.
00:03:49.740 Such an inflated sense of self-worth,
00:03:52.380 given his participation in the storming of churches in Minnesota this winter.
00:03:56.180 He'd be lucky to stay out of jail,
00:03:57.700 but I think it's time for Lamont to go ahead and make something of his life.
00:04:02.280 He's wildly irrelevant.
00:04:03.620 and I don't think people really care what he has to say anymore.
00:04:07.000 But if he'd like to run for president, I think all the more to him.
00:04:11.060 He should definitely give it a go.
00:04:12.220 And everyone's favorite billionaire Elon Musk and his SpaceX
00:04:15.160 have taken major steps towards becoming a publicly traded company
00:04:18.980 by confidentially filing for an initial public offering with security regulators.
00:04:24.380 Elon Musk could exceed a valuation of $1.75 trillion
00:04:28.940 with a potential listing around June.
00:04:31.660 The following comes as SpaceX merged with Musk's artificial intelligence company, XAI, back in February, a combination that Musk valued at $1.5 trillion at the time of the deal.
00:04:43.400 I'm sure Elon will take SpaceX to the moon, just as he'd done with Tesla.
