00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Thursday,
00:00:04.160 December 12th. President-elect Donald J. Trump just can't seem to stop winning, folks. It just
00:00:10.240 doesn't stop with this man. Earlier this morning, he rang the opening bell of the New York Stock
00:00:15.120 Exchange as he was confirmed Time Magazine's Person of the Year. Trump was met with cheers
00:00:20.820 and applause from the trading floor as well as cries of USA, USA. Trump was on Wall Street to
00:00:27.280 mark the ceremonial start of the day trading in a gesture first performed by fellow Republican
00:00:32.300 President Ronald Reagan back in the mid-1980s. Before he rang the opening bell at 9.30, Trump
00:00:39.420 spoke to the exchange and called it a tremendous honor. President Trump also speaking about his
00:00:44.540 Time Magazine Person of the Year saying getting this honor for a second time, but he thinks he
00:00:49.200 likes it a little bit better this time, and I think we all understand why, after all this man has been
00:00:54.880 put through for the last nine years, as he now enters his final term as president. And at the
00:00:59.860 end of this turn, it'll probably be the end of politics for President Trump. So President Trump
00:01:04.000 getting it all in while he can. CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg. You know that Marxist Dem who gave the 0.84
00:01:13.020 Dems the 2020 election? He spent all that money trying to help Joe Biden, and then in 2016, spending all
00:01:19.280 that money to save Hillary Clinton. Well, in a surprise move, Mark Zuckerberg's Meta has contributed
00:01:24.620 $1 million to President-elect Donald Trump's 2024 inaugural fund. This, of course, marks a significant
00:01:31.560 change in the relationship between the ultra-woke tech giant and the incoming administration.
00:01:37.260 Huh, I wonder what Mark Zuckerberg is trying to do. Is he trying to buy influence? This man hates
00:01:42.340 President Trump, hates everything about the Republican Party, yet makes a million-dollar donation to
00:01:48.100 President Trump. I think he wants President Trump's Justice Department to lay off him for all the
00:01:53.380 corrupt garbage he's been doing to this country, all the bad things he's been allowing these Marxist 1.00
00:01:59.540 Dems to do on his social media platform. And let's not forget about the millions and millions of 0.99
00:02:04.600 dollars in Zuckerbucks, illegal Zuckerbucks, that he dumped into our elections. So we must never forget
00:02:11.620 that. I don't care if Zuckerberg gives Trump a billion dollars. We can never forget what he did to us in
00:02:16.720 2016, and more importantly, what he did to us in 2020. And the free and fair state of Florida
00:02:24.280 smashes tourism records $131 billion in revenue for one year. Florida has smashed its tourism record
00:02:32.500 seeing not only the highest visitation numbers in history for the year 2023, but the highest amount
00:02:38.240 spent by tourists. Hmm, it seems people are rushing down to Florida after, you know, things in New York
00:02:45.160 and these other blue states went a little sideways, whether it be the migrant crisis or the woke policies
00:02:51.760 of kids in schools or having to vaccinate your kids to put them in school. You can go down the list of
00:02:56.920 things that the Marxist Dems have done to ruin these great states to push people to other great states
00:03:02.600 like Florida. And Joe Biden getting in some last minute work before he decides to leave the Oval
00:03:08.320 Office on January 20th in just over a month. Earlier today, he issued presidential pardons to 39 American
00:03:15.020 convicted felons of nonviolent crimes while commuting the sentences of nearly 1500 other people in the
00:03:20.840 largest single day act of clemency in modern history. The White House has not given the names of those
00:03:26.160 people involved in the mass commutations, according to the Associated Press. Very interesting. I wonder
00:03:31.680 just who President Joe Biden has given a final pass to before he decides to leave office on January 20th.
00:03:40.300 I'm looking forward to the release of those names of those people because something tells me
00:03:43.780 there's a few family friends or family business associates, I think is what we should call them,
00:03:49.540 or rather we call them, probably hanging up in there somewhere as he buys their silence for any work
00:03:57.940 they might have done with his family or his son Hunter Biden. I guess we will wait and we will see.
00:04:05.260 Folks, please be sure to join us for today's episode of The Great America Show. We're joined by
00:04:08.960 great Congressman Tim Burchett of the great state of Tennessee. We take up the Republicans' plan
00:04:14.500 entering the 119th Congress. Will the investigations into the Biden crime family continue? Tim is a member of
00:04:20.880 the House Oversight Committee. That's the committee that chaired by Congressman James Comer that
00:04:25.480 originally investigated the Biden crime family. And I take up with him. Will they continue those
00:04:29.660 investigations? I also talk to him about maybe the possibility of the Republicans finally getting a
00:04:34.680 budget through nearly after 30 years of not being able to pass a balanced budget. I guess we're gonna
00:04:39.540 we're gonna have to wait and see if they can get that through. But I take it all up with Congressman
00:04:43.000 Tim Burchett today on The Great America Show, folks. Please be sure to join us for that. And please be sure to
00:04:47.380 follow me on social media at John Fawcett NY, on Truth Social at John Fawcett, and on Instagram
00:04:53.660 at The Great America Show. I'm John Fawcett with this midday update. I hope you folks are all having
00:04:59.500 a great day out there and staying nice and warm if you're in the Northeast or in the Midwest or 0.98
00:05:03.480 in one of these damn cold states. And if you're in Florida, we're all jealous, folks. We'll see you 0.97
00:05:08.060 later for The Great America Show.
