00:00:00.000 I'm Lou Dobbs with the Great America Midday Update for Saturday, December 23rd.
00:00:05.120 I hope you're in the Christmas spirit, and I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas.
00:00:09.700 My wife and I live on a farm near a small town, and this Christmas we've seen more lights,
00:00:15.060 more displays on the homes of neighbors and the folks in town than ever before.
00:00:19.740 And we've lived here almost 40 years.
00:00:22.360 It's pretty clear many, if not most Americans, are now doing what they can to brighten their
00:00:27.860 spirits and that of their neighbors, and it's wonderful to see.
00:00:31.640 Particularly because the country has gone through a lot over the past three years, I think most
00:00:36.560 of us are looking to the future this year and feel better, much better, about the country's
00:00:41.840 future and that of our families and friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens.
00:00:46.120 There's been an awakening, without a doubt.
00:00:49.020 Americans are seeing clearly what has happened to us, what has been done to us by the very
00:00:54.140 people who've sworn an oath to serve, to protect, to defend the nation and our way of life.
00:01:00.380 That awakening means we have a brighter future, because we see clearly the threats arrayed
00:01:06.220 against America, foreign and domestic.
00:01:09.640 So thanks to you, to those recently awakened, to those who mean us harm, to those who serve
00:01:15.880 this nation in uniform, and protect us all, to all patriots, God bless you.
00:01:20.940 Our guest today is a January 6th political prisoner of the Marxist Dems.
00:01:25.380 He's Jake Lang, a man of immense strength and faith, who joins us from his prison cell
00:01:31.160 in the D.C. Gulag, who after three years still hasn't had a trial, not even a trial date.
00:01:38.200 You don't want to miss what Jake has to say.
00:01:41.400 Please join us, and thank you.
00:01:43.560 This is Lou Dobbs with the Great America Update.
00:01:46.360 Have a great day.
