00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Monday,
00:00:04.000 December 29th. Happy Monday, folks. I hope you all had a great Christmas and you're ready to
00:00:08.260 have a great New Year's. A lot of news happening over the weekend, folks. If you guys haven't been
00:00:13.100 paying attention, it's time to get back to work and pay attention to what's going on.
00:00:18.040 Agents with the Department of Homeland Security are on the ground going door to door
00:00:21.840 at suspected Somali fraud sites all throughout Minneapolis following a report from a citizen
00:00:28.400 journalist named Nick Shirley. He put out a viral video, over 100 million views on Twitter alone,
00:00:34.800 revealing the rampant fraud in the Somali community that we've been hearing about 1.00
00:00:38.100 inside of Minneapolis. Now, tonight on the Great America Show at 6 p.m. Eastern time,
00:00:42.460 we're going to be live with Mike Lindell, who's running for governor of Minnesota to get his take
00:00:48.440 on what he thinks of it all and what's going to happen there. FBI Director Cash Patel has taken
00:00:54.480 spearhead of this investigation, says that they're way ahead of it, putting out this statement,
00:00:59.080 quote, the FBI is aware of recent social media reports in Minnesota. However, even before the
00:01:04.100 public conversation escalated online, the FBI had surged personnel and investigative resources to
00:01:10.280 Minnesota to dismantle large-scale fraud schemes exploiting federal programs. Fraud that steals from
00:01:16.720 the taxpayers and robs vulnerable children will remain a top FBI priority in Minnesota and nationwide.
00:01:22.200 To date, he says, the FBI has dismantled the $250 million fraud screen that stole federal food aid
00:01:29.100 meant for vulnerable children during COVID. The investigation exposed sham vendors,
00:01:33.680 shell companies, large-scale money laundering, tied to Feed Our Future, a network that was used,
00:01:40.540 supposed to be used at least, to feed children who are in need. The FBI believes that this is just
00:01:46.500 the very tip of the large iceberg in Minnesota. He says they'll continue to follow the money and
00:01:52.000 protect children. This investigation very much remains ongoing. Furthermore, many are being
00:01:58.000 referred to immigration officials for possible further denaturalization and deportation proceedings
00:02:03.260 where eligible. Governor Tim Waltz, who seems to be at the middle of this whole fraud scheme,
00:02:09.380 was asked about the reporting of the man named Nick Shirley, who did this massive investigation that we
00:02:13.920 just told you about. Waltz's response, I guess, expected. He called Nick Shirley a white supremacist.
00:02:23.220 Go figure. We're going to be taking all this up tonight, folks, on The Great America Show. Like I said,
00:02:26.980 we're going to be joined by Mike Lindell, who's running for governor there, to get his take on
00:02:32.080 what happens next and where we go from here. Over at Mar-a-Lago, it's been a busy week for
00:02:38.740 President Trump yesterday meeting with Vladimir Zelensky of Ukraine to try to get a solution to
00:02:45.580 what's going on over between Russia and Ukraine. President Trump remains steadfast in getting that
00:02:51.200 war ended over there so they can finally have peace in the region for the first time in years.
00:02:56.120 This afternoon, meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel to discuss the Israel-Gaza
00:03:02.420 situation that seems to still be going on. President Trump seemingly giving Hamas another
00:03:08.240 chance to disarm. He was asked by the media, because of course, President Trump, the most
00:03:12.800 transparent president in history, gives the media a chance to ask questions after any bilateral
00:03:18.320 meetings or anything of that sort. He was asked what will happen to Hamas if this time around they
00:03:24.720 decide not to disarm. Take a listen. If you don't see Hamas disarm in that short amount of time
00:03:29.800 they're giving them, can you tell us what the next steps would be? It'll be horrible for them.
00:03:36.940 Horrible. It's going to be really, really bad for them. And I don't want that to happen.
00:03:43.940 But they made an agreement that they were going to disarm. And you couldn't blame Israel. By the way, 0.70
00:03:49.360 we have other countries that will come in and do it. They said, let us do it for you if they don't.
00:03:54.900 countries that were with them wanted the deal to be made, agreed that they would disarm. And now if
00:04:01.500 they say they're going to disarm, that's fine. If they say they're not going to disarm, those same
00:04:06.820 countries will go and wipe them out. They don't even need Israel. You know, we have many countries, 0.98
00:04:13.680 59 countries that are in agreement. This is a real peace in the Middle East. And Hamas is a small part of
00:04:21.400 it, but it's still a part of it. But we have 59 countries that signed on big countries, countries
00:04:26.840 that are outside of the Middle East, as you know, the Middle East. They want to go in and wipe out 1.00
00:04:35.720 Hamas. They don't want Israel. They don't need Israel. They want to do it because it's the right 1.00
00:04:41.240 thing to do, because they were for the deal based on the fact that Hamas pledged. They swore 0.53
00:04:46.960 that they were going to disarm. Now, if they're not going to disarm, those same countries will wipe 0.98
00:04:52.780 out Hamas. 0.67
00:04:54.760 There you have it, folks. Seems to be their last living lifeline. It's up to them on what they want
00:04:59.600 to do. Please be sure to join us tonight, 6 p.m. Eastern time for The Great America Show, Rumble,
00:05:03.960 YouTube, Twitter, wherever you guys join us. We'll be there live, 6 p.m. Eastern time with Mike Lindell
00:05:09.040 to get an update on what's going on in his home state of Minnesota. And what's going on with that
00:05:15.320 Somali fraud? That's tonight at 6 p.m. Eastern, folks. We'll see you then. I'm John Fosso with 1.00
00:05:19.760 this Midday Update. Happy Monday, everybody.
