00:00:06.600 President Trump picking up a lot of money from, of all people, the Teamsters Union,
00:00:11.740 making a major donation to the Republican Party after their meeting with President Trump.
00:00:17.380 That donation sending an obvious message about how the Teamsters Union believes the 2024
00:00:22.480 presidential election will turn out. And this will be the first year that the Teamsters Union
00:00:28.340 has participated in both political parties nominating conventions. In New York, the City
00:00:34.600 Council demanding an investigation of Mayor Eric Adams and his program to get $10,000 debit cards to
00:00:43.100 illegal aliens. Just a few days ago, it was revealed that Adams would be giving the illegal border crossers
00:00:50.060 up to $10,000 apiece on debit cards and families even more money. Adams has not explained to anyone.
00:00:58.340 why illegal aliens should be receiving benefits that are not available to the citizens of New York
00:01:04.600 City and the City Council wants a full explanation. Acclaimed investigative reporter, former CBS
00:01:11.660 correspondent Catherine Herridge is at the center of a First Amendment case and CBS News has fired her
00:01:18.800 and seized all work product including notes, files, computer drives and CBS News is asserting that her
00:01:26.340 investigative work is the property of CBS News. CBS says it will decide what if anything should be returned to her
00:01:34.680 or kept confidential from another case seeking the identity of her confidential sources. It's an outrage
00:01:42.220 and pro-First Amendment organizations are backing Catherine Herridge as she seeks to maintain the confidentiality
00:01:51.200 of her sources. Sources say that Catherine Herridge had been working on a story about the Bidens and
00:01:58.260 there was an apparent clash with CBS News President Ingrid Cyprian Matthews. And our guest today is former NSA
00:02:05.920 senior intelligence analyst and whistleblower Russ Theis. We talk about the reauthorization of the FISA Act
00:02:13.080 and the implications for a further erosion of the rights of privacy. Be sure to join us. Thanks, have a great day.
