00:00:09.700 If you're up here in the northeast and if you're in the south, we're envious of you and very jealous of the nice warm weather you guys are having down there.
00:00:18.940 Folks out west, the LA wildfires are continuing to burn and the folks of LA may have finally had enough with their Marxist Dems running the joint.
00:00:27.960 Los Angeles residents are demanding that Mayor Karen Best be immediately recalled as fires continue to devastate their community.
00:00:35.800 As of this morning, their Change.org petition has over 60,000 verified signatures on people who are calling for her to step down and be recalled.
00:00:45.360 Also, a new report out that California Governor Gavin Newsom, as President Trump likes to call him,
00:00:51.300 apparently cut $100 million from the fire prevention budget in 2024.

00:00:59.480 Karen Bass also slashed about $20 million from her city budget for fire services for the current fiscal year.

00:01:06.820 Folks, I don't know about you, but it really makes me wonder just who these Marxist Dems work for and what is their main goal?

00:01:14.980 Why would you be cutting fire budgets, both as the mayor and as the governor,
00:01:20.000 when you know California is extremely prone to forest fires,
00:01:24.620 they're extremely prone to issues with their poor wildlife management that they can't seem to understand to get together,
00:01:33.280 it doesn't really make much sense what these folks are doing.
00:01:36.480 And Joe Biden, who's America last, issuing some deportation protections for hundreds of thousands of migrants
00:01:43.840 from more than three countries right before President Trump is set to take office.
00:01:49.000 The New York Post has revealed that in addition to El Salvatore,
00:01:51.860 the Biden regime took action to protect over 700,000 more migrants
00:01:55.220 who could have ended up on President Trump's deportation list as early as next year.
00:01:59.660 The other countries included are Sudan, Ukraine, and Venezuela.
00:02:04.320 All in all, there's about 2,000 of these migrants from Sudan,
00:02:07.900 over 100,000 Ukrainian migrants, and 600,000 Venezuelans
00:02:12.280 who will continue to be able to roam the streets of America freely for at least another 18 months
00:02:17.060 under a process known as Transparency Protection Status, TPS.
00:02:21.920 TPS status for these migrants has been scheduled to end later this year.
00:02:25.620 The New York Post notes that TPS originated from a law signed by President George W. Bush in 1990.

00:02:34.300 The program provides work permits for these migrants up to 16 countries
00:02:37.840 who choose to stay in America rather than return to their home countries.
00:02:42.160 So in other words, folks, it's a free-for-all for these folks to just come and stay,
00:02:46.400 and Joe Biden's just making it easier now for them to stay and continue to be in this country.
00:02:51.160 And Corey Mills, the congressman from the great state of Florida,
00:02:53.920 has been appointed to chair an oversight and intelligence subcommittee in Congress this session.
00:02:59.840 Now, it's being floated that Corey Mills is reportedly eyeing a run for the Senate in 2026.
00:03:07.080 Ron DeSantis this week saying that he's going to appoint someone who's America first,
00:03:10.720 who's going to get Trump's America first agenda through.
00:03:13.680 But Corey Mills throwing his hat into the rink.
00:03:15.420 It's going to be interesting to see if DeSantis goes ahead and pulls Mills off there
00:03:20.280 or issues a primary to him in 2026.
00:03:25.500 And a hot topic of late, the Panama Canal CEO is denying Trump's claims that China is in control of the canal,
00:03:32.760 saying that the end of the Carter Neutrality Treaty means chaos.
00:03:36.240 The CEO of the Panama Canal has denied Trump's accusations,
00:03:40.520 saying, quote,
00:03:41.100 The accusations that China is running the canal are unfounded.
00:03:45.140 This according to Riccarte Vasquez Morales telling the Wall Street Journal,
00:03:49.360 saying, quote,
00:03:50.020 China has no involvement whatsoever in our operation.
00:03:53.780 Rules are rules and there are no exceptions.
00:03:56.460 We cannot discriminate for the Chinese or the Americans or anyone else.
00:04:00.440 This will violate the neutrality treaty, international law, and will lead to chaos.
00:04:04.880 Folks, it's important to remember that in the 1970s,
00:04:07.860 then-President Jimmy Carter, who just passed away,
00:04:10.320 negotiated what would be known as the Tarijos-Carter Treaties,
00:04:13.960 which agreed the U.S. could use military force to defend the waterway
00:04:17.260 against any threat to its neutrality.
00:04:20.420 The aspect was considered crucial in the U.S. at the time,
00:04:23.660 and the threats of the Soviet-aligned states.
00:04:26.040 Now, Carter had also agreed that the Panama Canal itself
00:04:29.320 would be turned over to Panama on December 31st of 1999.
00:04:33.820 Brilliant, brilliant.
00:04:34.880 Brilliant on the part of Jimmy Carter.
00:04:37.800 But, folks, as you know, those treaties now,
00:04:40.940 with China provoking the canal and looking to maybe make a move over there,
00:04:46.100 enables President Trump to do just about anything he wants
00:04:48.640 to go ahead and take control back over that Panama Canal.
00:04:52.180 So it's going to be interesting to see what happens
00:04:53.680 in just nine short days when President Trump takes back the Oval Office.
