00:00:06.560 WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange finally released from UK jail after spending nearly five years there.
00:00:12.100 Assange was confined to a cell for nearly 23 hours a day, eating his meals out of a tray,
00:00:16.760 surrounded by over 200 books, and allowed only an hour a day for exercise in the prison courtyard.
00:00:22.580 This week he agreed to plead guilty to a single felony count of illegally obtaining
00:00:26.560 and disclosing national security material in exchange for his release from prison.
00:00:32.000 This ending his years-long standoff with the United States.
00:00:35.240 Assange now heads back to his homeland of Australia.
00:00:38.620 Barack Obama is reportedly getting very anxious about the election and getting, quote,
00:00:42.200 increasingly involved in the Biden campaign.
00:00:45.600 New York Magazine is reporting that Obama speaks more often with O'Malley Dillon,
00:00:49.780 Biden's campaign chair, including about Biden's efforts to target hard-to-persuade young and black voters.
00:00:55.260 They are also reporting that operatives in Obama's personal office coordinate with Biden's campaign
00:01:01.320 to make sure Obama is in the loop on all campaign updates.
00:01:05.860 One of Obama's close friends saying, quote,
00:01:08.000 his anxiety about the election is real.
00:01:11.220 And a new poll from CBS YouGov this week shows that President Trump is making gains with black voters
00:01:15.860 with support at 23%, nearly double from what it was in 2020.
00:01:21.040 Exit polling in 2020 showed that only 12% of voters supported President Trump,
00:01:24.980 which was still higher than it was in 2016, at only 8%.
00:01:28.280 At the same time Trump has been gaining support among black voters,
00:01:32.000 black voter support for President Joe Biden is down significantly.
00:01:35.600 Exit polls in 2020 showed 87% support for Biden, according to a CNN exit poll.
00:01:41.060 However, the recent CBS News YouGov poll only shows 75% support for Biden.
