00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, this is John Fawcett with the Great America Show Midday Update for Thursday, March 28th.
00:00:05.900 House Speaker Mike Johnson has formally set a date to deliver Secretary of DHS Alejandro Mayorkas' articles of impeachment.
00:00:12.980 Speaker Johnson informed Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer today that the articles would be delivered to the Senate on April 10th,
00:00:18.720 and he urged that the trial be held expeditiously.
00:00:21.820 Billionaire crypto-con artist and big donor of the Marxist Dems, Sam Bankman-Fried, has been sentenced to 25 years in jail.
00:00:28.220 Bankman-Fried is responsible for running one of the biggest financial frauds in American history through his company, FTX.
00:00:34.640 Jurors in his trial only needed three hours of deliberations to find Bankman-Fried guilty of all seven criminal counts.
00:00:40.700 Prosecutors sought 40 to 50 years in jail for the con artist, while Bankman-Fried's lawyers proposed a prison term between five and six years,
00:00:47.860 all because he's a, quote, good doer and a vegan.
00:00:51.420 And that's right, because all good doers defraud their friends, customers, and investors $10 billion, right?
00:00:56.100 And Marxist Dem, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison may have hit a new low.
00:01:00.620 I know that's very hard to do these days with these Marxist Dems.
00:01:03.760 Ellison announced this week that his office is investigating two major automakers for making their cars too easy for young people to steal.
00:01:11.880 Take a listen.
00:01:12.420 It is truly amazing that Ellison can go on national TV and say this with a straight face,
00:01:35.980 because he's seemingly uninterested in charging criminals, so why not just go after the automakers?
00:01:40.300 Make it easy.
00:01:41.300 And over in Crime Britain, New York City, the NYPD today buried one of their own after he was shot and killed by a career criminal in an ordinary traffic stop last week.
00:01:49.860 President Trump attended the funeral for the slain officer, while Joe Biden couldn't even be bothered to call the family.
00:01:55.720 Take a listen to Press Secretary Corrine Jean-Pierre relaying the message for the puppet president.
00:02:00.400 It relates to the death of the officer.
00:02:04.500 Look, our hearts go out to this officer who tragically lost his life in the line of duty.
00:02:09.680 We're also praying for his family during this difficult time, who now has an empty seat at their dinner table.
00:02:16.900 President Biden is deeply grateful for the sacrifices police officers make to keep our community safe.
00:02:22.400 This shooting is yet another painful reminder of the toll of gun violence, what it's doing to inflict on families and our communities and our nation.
00:02:32.640 And that's why the president signed more than two dozen executive actions.
00:02:36.520 That's why we're able to pass a bipartisan agreement to deal with the gun violence that we're seeing in this country.
00:02:42.260 Obviously, more work needs to be done.
00:02:44.080 We need Congress to continue to act on making sure that our communities are safe.
00:02:50.100 And again, our hearts go out to this officer and his family.
00:02:55.620 It's a difficult time for them.
00:02:57.060 The irony of it all was that Joe Biden is actually in New York today.
00:03:00.780 Biden flew up to the Big Apple to attend a $25 million fundraiser, headlined by none other than Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.
00:03:07.980 Obama, who is presumably running the country for this highly demented president, was on Air Force One this morning with Joe Biden.
00:03:14.320 Take a listen to Obama board the plane this morning and say hello to the press.
00:03:17.780 Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was quite fast to let everybody know this was off the record and all cameras and audio were to be cut.
00:03:25.120 I want to make sure we are all aware that this is off the record.
00:03:29.780 Off the record, off the record, off the record.
00:03:32.480 How's it going, everybody?
00:03:34.100 At this point, it's hard for anybody to doubt who really runs this country.
00:03:37.540 Join us each and every day for The Great America Show.
00:03:39.560 And be sure to join us for Lou Dobbs tonight each and every weekend on Rumble at rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs tonight.
00:03:45.780 That's rumble.com slash Lou Dobbs tonight.
00:03:48.860 I'm John Fawcett with This Great America Show, Midday Update.
00:03:51.920 Have a great day, everybody.
00:03:52.880 Have a great day, everybody.
