00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Wednesday, March 4th.
00:00:04.680 Happy Wednesday, folks.
00:00:06.220 It was a rough night last night, to say the least, I think, for some rhinos and Marxist Dems across the country.
00:00:12.780 But particularly a rough night for some of them in Texas.
00:00:17.020 So let's kick it off with the Senate race there where they held the primary elections
00:00:22.160 where John Cornyn, the sitting U.S. Senator from Texas,
00:00:26.640 faced off against Ken Paxton, who's the Attorney General, and Wesley Hunt, who's a congressman.
00:00:31.620 Bad numbers so far, it looks like, for Cornyn, who had millions and tens of millions of dollars
00:00:38.660 dumped into his campaign by the rhinos, not performing like a man who had that much money dumped in.
00:00:44.660 Cornyn coming in at just under 42% of the vote, Paxton behind him at about 41% of the vote,
00:00:51.080 Wesley Hunt at 13.5% of the vote.
00:00:53.520 That means it's heading to a runoff election because none of the candidates garnered 50%.
00:00:59.380 Now, the problem that Cornyn faces is that Wesley Hunt was the outsider candidate, and so was Paxton.
00:01:06.840 But that 13.5% of the vote likely going to go mostly to Paxton as people, you know,
00:01:17.140 giving some backlash for Cornyn for being a rhino all these years.
00:01:20.040 So that race heads off into a runoff. A little bit of a problem there.
00:01:24.260 For Cornyn, I'd say he might have to go beg the establishment for a little bit more money.
00:01:29.120 Another one who's facing a little bit of a tough time that's heading to a runoff is Texas' 18th Congressional District.
00:01:35.160 Primary there was Al Green.
00:01:37.400 You all know Al Green is the man who's defamed President Trump for years,
00:01:41.720 led the fake impeachment hoaxes, and shows up to the State of the Unions to do a little song and a dance
00:01:47.540 and then get kicked out his election against a man by the name of Christian Menefee,
00:01:53.860 who Mr. Menefee garnering 46% of the vote to Al Green's 44% of the vote,
00:01:59.060 third-party candidate Amanda Edwards at 7.7% of the vote.
00:02:03.340 That race is now heading off into a runoff.
00:02:07.180 So a little bit of a problem it looks like they're going to have in that race for Mr. Al Green.
00:02:11.920 Another one that seems to be a little bit of a problem, you all know her very well,
00:02:17.600 Jasmine Crockett.
00:02:18.700 She's everyone's favorite thug, I guess you can call her, losing outright.
00:02:24.000 Her Democratic primary for the Senate there in Texas, outright to candidate James Tallarico.
00:02:30.800 Jasmine Crockett losing 52% to 46%.
00:02:34.360 Crockett crying wolf.
00:02:37.280 She says the election was stolen by the Republicans?
00:02:40.320 How dare her speak out against stolen elections?
00:02:43.520 Let's take a listen to what she had to say last night.
00:02:46.660 We're not going to have election results tonight, in my opinion,
00:02:50.220 based upon what specifically is taking place in Dallas County.
00:02:57.600 Unfortunately, this is what Republicans like to do.
00:03:01.740 And so they specifically targeted Dallas County, and I think we all know why.
00:03:11.140 So I want you to enjoy yourselves, but I won't be back tonight because I have no idea of when
00:03:20.040 we're going to get results, and I fully anticipate it won't be until tomorrow.
00:03:24.460 So, I love you all, too.
00:03:30.480 Thank you so very much for being here.
00:03:35.140 Love you down.
00:03:36.460 I love you down, Dallas.
00:03:39.980 I'm almost positive her election wasn't stolen.
00:03:43.100 She's just an unpopular candidate, I think, to say the least, losing 46% to 52% Crockett.
00:03:51.760 But it's nice to see the Democrats finally talking about election fraud, just not where it matters.
00:03:57.020 And let's wrap up with probably the most impressive performance of the night by a man named Steve Toth.
00:04:04.000 Toth faced off against Rhino incumbent Dan Crenshaw.
00:04:08.300 And, folks, we've got some good news to break for you there.
00:04:10.800 There's no runoff happening there with 95% of the vote in.
00:04:14.560 Toth is the declared winner at just under 56% of the vote to Dan Crenshaw's 41% of the vote.
00:04:22.440 Toth cleaning him both districts, Montgomery and Harris County.
00:04:26.820 Montgomery County carrying it by 24 points.
00:04:30.020 Harris County by 6 points.
00:04:32.080 It looks to be that Dan Crenshaw is going to head off into retirement and maybe take up his career as, I don't know,
00:04:39.520 he's a pretty good stock trader, right?
00:04:41.120 We've seen the numbers there.
00:04:42.760 So some really good numbers out there, folks, as we look now forward to the general elections and the runoff elections.
00:04:49.620 We've got to keep the foot on the gas and ensure that America First candidates are the ones that prevail.
00:04:58.360 Governor Tim Waltz, also known as Tampon Tim Waltz, was on Capitol Hill today for a grilling from Jim Jordan, among other members of Congress.
00:05:06.500 Jim Jordan asked him straight to his face, why are you such a liar?
00:05:10.880 Let's take a listen in.
00:05:12.020 Governor, who's Casey Magin?
00:05:13.800 I don't know who Casey Magin is.
00:05:16.720 I'll tell you.
00:05:17.360 Mr. Magin is a Somali-American and a fraud investigator in the guy beside you's office, in the Attorney General's office.
00:05:23.680 And here's what he said.
00:05:25.100 There was a perception that forcefully tackling this issue might cause political backlash among the Somali community, which is a core voting bloc.
00:05:31.980 Did that have anything to do with this whole fraud scheme that went on in your state, Governor?
00:05:35.700 It did not, Congressman.
00:05:37.020 It did not.
00:05:38.280 So now you're saying Mr. Casey Magin is lying too?
00:05:41.880 I'm not.
00:05:42.340 You're the only one telling the truth in the whole state.
00:05:45.440 Mr. Magin, who's a fraud investigator at the Attorney General's office, says it's politics.
00:05:49.860 The court said you were stated.
00:05:50.380 I couldn't speak for Mr. Magin.
00:05:51.900 You asked me a question.
00:05:53.220 I know.
00:05:54.440 And I said no when you asked me the question.
00:05:56.620 I'm saying Casey Magin said just the option.
00:05:58.760 I don't know.
00:05:59.380 So the court's wrong and Casey Magin's wrong.
00:06:00.980 You're the only guy right.
00:06:02.440 How many people have been indicted in your state right now?
00:06:04.620 Do you know, Governor?
00:06:05.420 I don't have those numbers with me.
00:06:07.140 You don't?
00:06:08.640 98 people have been indicted.
00:06:09.840 You happen to know how many are Somali-American?
00:06:12.880 I don't.
00:06:13.560 We don't investigate or prosecute people based on ethnicity.
00:06:17.400 Neither do I.
00:06:18.020 We shouldn't do that.
00:06:18.940 But Mr. Magin is a Somali-American who just said that the court, one of the concerns was this is a core voting bloc.
00:06:24.740 And I just want to know if you know how many of the 98 people have been indicted in your state are Somali.
00:06:29.360 I don't.
00:06:29.880 Their ethnicity is not my concern.
00:06:31.280 85, 85 percent of the people indicted were Somali-American, a key voting bloc.
00:06:36.020 And I think that's what drove this whole thing.
00:06:38.700 A rough day for Tampon Tim.
00:06:40.300 And I think it's going to be rough seas ahead for the very troubled governor of Minnesota.
