00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Tuesday,
00:00:04.260 November 12th. Well, folks, we're officially on Rhino Watch exactly a week after the 2024
00:00:10.780 election. It's starting already. Tomorrow, Senate Republicans will vote for a new majority leader
00:00:16.860 after Trump hater and war pig Mitch McConnell finally stepping aside from Senate leadership.
00:00:23.180 Senate Republicans, of course, will vote behind closed doors in a secret ballot to choose their 0.54
00:00:27.080 next leader. It's not just their next leader. It's the leader of America, in a sense, because
00:00:31.940 they will control what is taken up in the Senate and President Trump's agenda. Choices between two
00:00:38.120 Trump-hating, MAGA-hating rhinos who want war and business as usual and a businessman and Florida
00:00:43.840 Senator Rick Scott. Elon Musk, RFK Jr., and MAGA Nation are calling on all Republican senators
00:00:50.220 to vote for Rick Scott for the Senate majority seat. Rick Scott, of course, is a logical choice
00:00:55.440 to lead the Senate Republicans. He blew out his Democratic opponent in Florida by 12 points,
00:01:00.580 but the Senate Republicans have a long history of, we'll say, going against their voters.
00:01:06.320 President Trump not weighing in on the status of that race or who his candidate is,
00:01:10.360 but I think behind the scenes, the Trump folks are making it clear that Rick Scott is the choice.
00:01:16.840 Folks, if you haven't already figured it out, the legacy media is dead, and podcasts like this one
00:01:21.900 and many others are taking over the media for you folks to get honest news, to listen to wherever
00:01:27.000 you want to and whenever you want to. You don't have to be somewhere at a certain time to watch a
00:01:30.980 show. And we bring you the truth, folks, uncensored, not owned by anybody, and able to give you guys a
00:01:37.200 fair and balanced opinion for you guys to make for yourself. So with that, top stars at Fake News CNN
00:01:42.460 are on the chopping block as the network is mulling firing hundreds of their employees after Trump
00:01:48.520 winning the 2024 election. According to Nielsen ratings, both MSNBC and CNN are having a very
00:01:54.660 tough time with their ratings after Trump's last week decisive victory. Insiders told Puck News the
00:02:00.660 new round of firings will likely see on-air talent affected as well as producers and other staff.
00:02:07.540 The firings come as the network's new CEO looks to free up finances amid warning in ratings.
00:02:12.760 I'm not entirely sure which of the Marxist Dems they're going to be getting rid of,
00:02:16.200 but some of the names being floated are Kaitlyn Collins, Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, Jake
00:02:21.660 Tapper. Some of those folks boasting salaries at $7 and $3 million a year. Kaitlyn Collins reportedly
00:02:27.720 making over $2 million a year. Anderson Cooper may be the leading candidate making $20 million a year.
00:02:34.800 We'll see if they can free up some space. Aaron Burnett, another one, $6 million a year. So if they're
00:02:40.460 looking to free up some finances, cutting these Marxist Dems may be a good choice for CNN, but
00:02:45.780 who knows? They don't usually do the right thing, but we'll see. Turning now to some news in the
00:02:50.120 President Trump cabinet and the roles that have been being filled over the last few days since
00:02:54.620 President Trump winning on November 5th. Former Democrat and Congresswoman from the great state
00:03:00.480 of Hawaii, Tulsi Gabbard, has reportedly got her site set on Defense Secretary. Sources close to the
00:03:07.780 Trump transition team have disclosed that Gabbard, who recently realigned herself with the Republican
00:03:12.020 Party, has expressed a strong interest in leading the Pentagon under Trump's new term. According to
00:03:17.980 one GOP insider, Gabbard is expected to privately approach Trump about the Pentagon aspirations
00:03:22.740 this week with additional interest in potential CIA director role. Other people floated for that CIA
00:03:28.960 director role, of course, none other than Cash Patel, great friend of the show, great friend of the
00:03:33.640 great late Lou Dobbs, Rick Grinnell, another one. So we'll just have to wait and see what happens
00:03:38.980 there, folks. But nonetheless, I think all of them, great choices comparatively to what we've seen
00:03:44.440 in the first term. Some other positions that we've already told you about, but we'll go through again
00:03:48.720 just to keep you up to date on what's been already appointed so far. Chief of Staff, President Trump
00:03:54.520 appointed Susie Wiles, his former campaign manager. Deputy Chief of Staff is going to go to
00:03:59.180 longstanding Trump advisor Stephen Miller. Ambassador to the UN, Elise Stefanik, has been nominated.
00:04:04.740 Tom Homan, another great friend of this show, has been named Bordersar. Lee Zeldin, former New York
00:04:10.500 congressman and former New York gubernatorial candidate, will be tapped to head up the EPA.
00:04:17.180 Florida Congressman Mike Waltz being tapped on for national security advisor. And of course,
00:04:22.720 U.S. ambassador to Israel is going to go to former governor of Arkansas, the great Mike Huckabee.
00:04:27.720 So a lot of positions being filled, folks, but hundreds and thousands more to still be filled
00:04:34.060 by Trump and the transition team. These are just some of the latest ones. We're also being told
00:04:38.600 that Governor Kristi Noem will head up the Department of Homeland Security. We're just
00:04:43.860 waiting for that officially, but that's the latest rumblings. Folks, be sure to join us each and every
00:04:48.420 day for the Great America Show. We're bringing you the top guests and some of these folks who will be
00:04:54.420 heading into the Trump administration. So we're going to get their insight on what's going on
00:04:58.720 and what to expect going into January. Thanks, as always, folks, for joining us. Be sure to join
00:05:03.980 us each and every day for the Great America Show. And be sure to follow us on our new Instagram page
