00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm John Fossett with this Great America Show midday update for Monday, October 27th.
00:00:05.260 Some news out of President Trump today, traveling on Air Force One on his trip to Asia,
00:00:10.260 where he's making peace deals, where he's making trade deals, where he's working on deals to make America great again.
00:00:15.760 President Trump leaving the door open to seek a third term.
00:00:20.080 That's right, President Trump says he's not ruling anything out.
00:00:23.620 When pressed on the idea from reporters aboard Air Force One,
00:00:26.280 President Trump says he hasn't really thought about it, but he's got some really good poll numbers,
00:00:30.980 the best poll numbers he's had in a long time.
00:00:34.000 He just solved eight wars, the ninth one coming.
00:00:36.140 He says he believes Russia and Ukraine is next.
00:00:38.360 When pressed again on it, President Trump says he's not ruling it out, and he'd love to do it.
00:00:43.720 So I guess we'll have to wait and see.
00:00:46.380 Trump also asked about the prospect of possibly running as vice president to someone like J.D. Vance, who would run for president.
00:00:52.800 President Trump said he'd be allowed to do it, but he doesn't really have any interest in it.
00:00:58.680 He says, quote, I would rule that out because it's too cute.
00:01:01.820 I think people wouldn't like that.
00:01:03.180 It's too cute.
00:01:04.320 It would not be right.
00:01:05.620 But not ruling out the possibility of a third term.
00:01:09.280 I guess we'll have to wait and see what President Trump decides to do.
00:01:13.280 Speaking of presidents, Joe Biden emerged from out of hiding, perhaps in his basement Sunday night,
00:01:19.160 to deliver a Trump-bashing speech that once again illustrates how tone-deaf he and his handlers and speechwriters really are.
00:01:28.520 82-year-old Joe Biden was speaking publicly for the first time since completing a round of radiation therapy
00:01:33.360 for an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
00:01:35.720 The former White House occupier was present to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award
00:01:40.140 and inspired leadership from the Edward M. Kennedy Institute in Boston.
00:01:44.640 Biden soon turned his speech into a Trump-bashing session,
00:01:48.560 implying the president was a dictator.
00:01:51.780 Biden says we must fight back and we have to fight like hell. 0.92
00:01:56.620 Take a listen to the clearly demented former occupier of the Oval Office.
00:02:01.420 In my over 50 years of elected public life, this is the worst I've seen it.
00:02:07.700 It's time to get reengaged.
00:02:10.020 It's time to act.
00:02:11.920 To fight like hell.
00:02:14.360 This is no time to give up.
00:02:16.140 It's time to get up.
00:02:17.720 Get up now.
00:02:18.900 Get up.
00:02:20.560 That, my friends, is a clearly troubled man with a lot of hate and anger in his blood.
00:02:26.200 I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with him, but he should just retire and go off into the sunset.
00:02:31.620 I'm not entirely sure.
00:02:32.880 I guess the money's too good to be turning down any sort of speaking gigs.
00:02:37.280 Charlie Kirk Assassin Tyler Robinson was back in court on Monday as Judge Tony Graff
00:02:41.080 ruled on whether he may appear in the court in civilian clothing.
00:02:46.460 What appears to be the first win for Tyler Robinson,
00:02:49.300 Judge Graff ruled that he may appear in court in civil clothing for his trial
00:02:53.480 given the presumption of innocence.
00:02:54.980 However, he must appear in restraints.
00:02:58.400 The judge also ruled that the media may not photograph or record Tyler Robinson
00:03:02.840 entering or exiting the courthouse.
00:03:05.340 Robinson 22 has three public defenders.
00:03:08.700 Robinson did not appear via video on Monday's hearing.
00:03:11.420 However, when the judge asked him if he could hear him,
00:03:13.760 Robinson said, yes, I can.
00:03:15.940 Not entirely sure why a judge would give this monster
00:03:18.860 any sort of leeway on anything whatsoever.
00:03:22.300 I guess that's what's wrong with the Justice Department in this country.
00:03:26.320 They care more about making the criminals feel good
00:03:29.100 and more or less about taking care of crime in this country.
00:03:34.160 And that new White House ballroom you've been hearing the Marxist Dems talk about
00:03:38.160 going absolutely berserk.
00:03:40.340 How could Donald Trump dare take down the East Wing to build a big, beautiful ballroom?
00:03:45.740 I like the sound of that, like a big, beautiful bill.
00:03:48.920 Well, some news coming out now from the Wall Street Journal
00:03:52.180 that President Trump reportedly for the last 15 years
00:03:56.160 tried and failed to build a grand ballroom at the White House
00:03:59.600 that could host extravagant dinners for world leaders, lawmakers, and celebrities.
00:04:03.460 That's right.
00:04:04.840 In early 2010, President Barack Obama's top strategist, David Axelrod,
00:04:09.500 got a call from Trump, then a real estate developer and a reality TV star.
00:04:14.900 They were connected via MSNBC's Michael Brzezinski,
00:04:17.780 who had closer ties to Trump at the time.
00:04:19.460 Obviously not anymore.
00:04:21.140 What President Trump said to Axelrod was, quote,
00:04:24.100 you have these dinners, these crappy little tents,
00:04:27.700 Axelrod recalling in the interview.
00:04:29.460 He said, I build big ballrooms.
00:04:31.060 I build the most big, beautiful ballrooms in the world.
00:04:33.360 You can come to Florida and see for yourself.
00:04:35.060 President Trump offered to build a modular ballroom at the White House
00:04:39.080 that could be deconstructed.
00:04:42.000 Why Barack Hussein Obama never took President Trump up on the offer?
00:04:46.180 It beats me, folks, especially when he was offering to pay for it.
00:04:49.440 The ballroom is being built this time around from private donors
00:04:52.540 with costs reaching an estimated $350 million.
00:04:56.880 So if it was done for $350 million,
00:04:59.000 the chances are if another president were to do it,
00:05:01.300 it would probably be double the cost.
00:05:03.380 We all know President Trump doesn't like overpaying for things
00:05:06.840 and likes to pay fair market value.
00:05:08.620 So there's no taking advantage of him.
