00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Thursday, September 12th.
00:00:05.400 House Speaker Mike Johnson caught once again being a weasel.
00:00:09.060 Johnson has reportedly told Senate Republicans to strip the SAVE Act from the government funding legislation once the House passes the bill.
00:00:16.540 This according to two senior aides from two different GOP Senate offices who support the SAVE Act being part of any government funding efforts.
00:00:24.360 The SAVE Act is a Republican-led piece of legislation that would take drastic steps to prevent non-citizens, particularly illegal aliens, from voting in our elections. 0.54
00:00:33.740 Johnson, of course, denied the reports, but who are we to really believe here?
00:00:37.900 The New York Court of Appeals dismisses Donald Trump's request to lift his gag order.
00:00:41.940 Trump's attorneys requested that Judge Juan Merchant lift the order after his conviction,
00:00:46.280 arguing the gag order limits his First Amendment rights and that lifting the gag order would be in the public's best interest before the presidential election.
00:00:52.840 The gag order limits Trump from making public remarks against his prosecutors or their families.
00:00:58.480 Of course, Merchant left the gag order on.
00:01:00.660 His daughter raised nearly $100 million for the Marxist Dems on the Trump New York prosecution.
00:01:06.040 It seems Disney is hitting struggles of late.
00:01:09.420 Disney is begging for people to come back to their Disney Plus streaming service.
00:01:12.940 The streaming service will now offer returning subscribers three months of a price of $199.
00:01:18.360 That's 80% off the usual $9.99 charge for the same tier.
00:01:21.920 It's great on the Americans who dropped Disney Plus in the first place,
00:01:25.480 not wanting their kids to be indoctrinated by the far-left ideology that Disney has been pushing.
00:01:30.520 Not to mention, Disney owns ABC, and ABC is who just did that presidential debate that we just saw.
00:01:36.020 Remember the three-on-one against Trump?
00:01:38.300 I think Americans are just getting a little bit tired of this woke stuff that these people are pushing on our kids and our families across America.
