00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Monday,
00:00:03.860 July 14th. Happy Monday, folks. I hope you all had a wonderful, wonderful weekend.
00:00:08.620 The New York Times over the weekend deciding they wanted to start doing some real journalism.
00:00:12.960 Imagine that, the New York Times doing real journalism with a bombshell report revealing
00:00:19.420 that Joe Biden did not sign off on all of the pardons. Joe Biden deciding to sit down with
00:00:24.940 the radical leftist organization to do an interview, not entirely sure why he'd want to do it,
00:00:29.180 but he defended the use of his auto pen in that interview.
00:00:32.940 The New York Times reviewed some of the emails that the National Archives had handed over to Trump
00:00:36.860 DOJ as part of their investigation into the auto pen scandal. The emails revealed that Biden's
00:00:42.260 staffer made decisions to sign the pardons with the auto pen without directly hearing the order
00:00:47.580 from Joe Biden. Joe Biden told the New York Times that he, quote, orally granted all the pardons
00:00:53.100 and the commutations issued at the end of his term, lashed out at President Trump as a liar,
00:00:59.180 for claiming that the auto pen was used without his authorization.
00:01:03.180 Now, as we've just figured out, it was revealed that Joe Biden did not approve each name for the
00:01:07.720 pardons. And after changes were made about specific inmates, Biden did not sign off on the revised list.
00:01:14.180 Rather, his aides just ran their final version through the auto pen without Joe Biden's approval.
00:01:18.960 The New York Times writes, quote, Mr. Biden did not individually approve each name for the
00:01:24.460 categorical pardons that applied to the large numbers of people he and his aides confirmed.
00:01:29.880 Rather, after extensive discussion of different possible criteria, he signed off on the standards
00:01:35.380 he wanted to be used to determine which convicts would qualify for a reduced sentence.
00:01:40.700 Even after Mr. Biden made that decision, one former aides at the Bureau of Prisons
00:01:45.320 kept providing initial information about specific inmates, resulting in small changes to the list.
00:01:51.080 Rather than ask Mr. Biden to keep signing revisions, his staff waited and then ran the final version
00:01:56.660 through the auto pen, which they saw as routine procedure. Imagine that, routine procedure to pardon
00:02:02.720 convicted felons, at least according to the Biden administration. So this thing is just getting
00:02:09.060 worse and worse and worse and worse. President Trump was asked about it this afternoon. The Oval
00:02:12.920 Office, take a listen to what he had to say. Look, the auto pen, I think, is maybe one of the biggest
00:02:17.680 scandals that we've had in 50 to 100 years. This is a tremendous scandal. And I know the people on the
00:02:26.680 other side of the, see that desk, that Resolute desk? Unfortunately, he used it before me.
00:02:32.840 You know, we have our choice of seven desks. They're all beautiful. But I chose the Resolute
00:02:38.860 and so did he, unfortunately. But the people on the other side of the Resolute desk, I know them.
00:02:47.220 Lisa, the whole group, and they're no good. They're sick people. And I guarantee he knew
00:02:55.080 nothing about what he was signing. I guarantee it.
00:02:59.000 President Trump also in the Oval Office this morning talking about Russia. President Trump
00:03:03.700 giving Russia 50 days to strike a peace deal with Ukraine before he enacts a secondary tariff
00:03:09.420 at 100 percent, which he says will cripple them economically. Take a listen to the president and
00:03:15.160 what he had to say in his threat for Vladimir Putin.
00:03:17.900 One of the reasons that you're here today is to hear that we are very unhappy, I am,
00:03:23.520 with Russia. But we'll discuss that maybe a different day. But we're very,
00:03:29.880 very unhappy with them. And we're going to be doing very severe tariffs. If we don't have a
00:03:35.880 deal in 50 days, tariffs at about 100 percent, you'd call them secondary tariffs. You know what
00:03:41.980 that means. But today we're going to talk about something else. And as you know, we've spent
00:03:48.700 $350 billion approximately on this war with Russia and Ukraine. I would like to see it end. It
00:03:56.760 wasn't my war. It was Biden's war. It's not my war. I'm trying to get you out of it.
00:04:02.420 And we want to see it end. And I'm disappointed in President Putin because I thought we would have
00:04:08.940 had a deal two months ago, but it doesn't seem to get there. So based on that, we're going to be
00:04:14.180 doing secondary tariffs if we don't have a deal in 50 days. It's very simple. And they'll be at 100
00:04:19.100 percent. And that's the way it is. It can be more simple. It's just the way it is. I hope we don't
00:04:24.780 have to do it. And there you have it. The ball is now in the court of Vladimir Putin. Convicted
00:04:30.540 sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is reportedly ready and willing to testify before the U.S. Congress
00:04:35.420 about the full extent of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal empire and the powerful men who participated in it.
00:04:41.900 The Daily Mail is reporting that she has not been offered any plea deal, nor has she been contacted
00:04:46.240 by any U.S. officials about providing testimony, something she would reportedly welcome. She'd be
00:04:52.500 more than happy to sit down with Congress and tell her story, according to a close source familiar
00:04:58.240 with the situation. She's currently serving a 20-year sentence in Tallahassee State Prison in Florida
00:05:03.140 for, of course, her role in grooming and trafficking underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein and his network
00:05:08.360 of high-powered friends, which includes billionaires, politicians, academics, and royalty. Yet to date,
00:05:14.700 not a single Epstein client has been charged. Make that make sense. Congress is reportedly looking at
00:05:21.380 blocking her testimony. I can't figure out why they would want to do such a thing. We can get this
00:05:27.180 thing done once and for all very simply. I can't imagine what sick person in Congress would be
00:05:33.260 blocking testimony. We can find out who preyed on children and who the pedophiles are in our
00:05:39.340 government and in Hollywood, perhaps. Folks, please be sure to join us each and every night,
00:05:44.020 6 p.m. Eastern time for The Great America Show. 6 p.m. Eastern, Rumble, YouTube, Twitter,
00:05:48.620 wherever you join us. We'll see you there tonight, 6 p.m. I'm John Fosso with this Midday Update. Have a
