The Great America Show - NOBODY HOME AT THE WHITE HOUSE

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs and welcome to The Great America Show. Great to have you

00:00:08.080 with us today. The D.C. swap is buzzing over new developments in the Biden crime family

00:00:13.880 scandal. President Biden and his son Hunter have managed, of course, to escape consequences

00:00:19.160 for any part of their corrupt lives and may do so yet once again. Not only did Hunter

00:00:25.920 get a sweetheart deal in his tax fraud case, a judge yesterday in Arkansas delivered Hunter

00:00:32.900 yet another sweetheart deal. The judge handling Hunter Biden's child support case made two

00:00:39.720 newsworthy rulings. First, he cut Hunter's child support payments by 75 percent. And then the

00:00:48.440 judge ruled that Hunter's daughter will not be allowed to use the Biden name. And Joe Biden

00:00:55.140 has never recognized Hunter's daughter as his grandchild, despite paternity tests that prove

00:01:01.600 that she is. Hunter's last name, no matter how solid, obviously impressing law enforcement

00:01:08.620 and prosecutors and judges. And now, after a years-long investigation into the death of Jeffrey

00:01:16.300 Epstein, the Department of Justice has released their findings in a report on the cause of his

00:01:22.400 death. The Department of Justice concluded that Epstein's death was suicide. The DOJ blames

00:01:29.640 the guards for not checking his cell and leaving excess blankets in the cell. In the 128-page-long

00:01:37.760 report, there is no persuasive accounting for why the CCTV cameras on Epstein's cell didn't work,

00:01:46.100 why they removed a cellmate the night before his death, or why guards weren't watching a prisoner

00:01:52.800 on suicide watch, both of whom were apparently sleeping. Remember, then-Attorney General Bill Barr

00:02:01.080 promised the Department of Justice would get to the bottom of what happened, and that there would be

00:02:08.280 accountability. You be the judge. Our guest today is insisting on government accountability.

00:02:15.520 He's Senator Tommy Tuberville. He has, for the past five months, been blocking military promotions

00:02:21.760 for admirals and generals as he protests the Pentagon's woke policies and abortion policy.

00:02:28.480 Senator Tuberville sits on the Senate Armed Services Committee, the Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs,

00:02:33.820 and the Committee on Agriculture. Senator, it's great to have you with us here on The Great America

00:02:38.800 Show again, and I'd just like to begin with your update as to where you stand on those promotion

00:02:44.980 holds in any negotiations. Well, Lou, we're within a week or so of five months of the holds on the

00:02:53.760 promotion of all admirals and generals, and just for everybody listening, it's a little bit about

00:02:58.560 the abortion policy. Now, we had an abortion policy in the military for years and years,

00:03:04.200 but they decided to change it after Roe Wade. Joe Biden and the Secretary of Defense wants to put as

00:03:09.180 many people on notice that you can do an abortion at any time if you're a federal employee, so they

00:03:15.020 just started with the VA, and now they're with the military. And really, my focus is more on

00:03:21.340 legislating from the Pentagon and the White House and creating new law, instead of allowing the

00:03:28.540 people of Congress to do that. And so I've told them, I'm not going to change this back.

00:03:34.900 They are going to have to, they've got an uphill battle with me, because the next thing will happen

00:03:39.620 is they'll come out and say, okay, if we've got a new law that's come from the White House that

00:03:43.920 you can only go to church one time a month. I mean, we cannot allow these dictators over there

00:03:49.700 to run our country by an iron fist. We can't do it. So you said negotiations. Lou,

00:03:58.100 it's almost five months, and they keep telling me, oh, you're hurting readiness and the morale,

00:04:03.060 and we need to get on with this. I've talked to the Secretary of Defense 10 minutes and one call

00:04:08.960 about three and a half months ago. I've not heard one word from the White House, zero.

00:04:15.380 Senator Schumer on the floor, all he does is berate me every day that I'm not a true American,

00:04:20.840 and I'm holding up progress in the military. So conversation is kneel, none. They don't want

00:04:28.320 to negotiate because they know they're wrong, number one, but they're not going to give in

00:04:32.520 because they know if we beat them on this, that there's a possible way that we can continue to

00:04:36.920 slow them down for the next year before they completely run our country in the ground.

00:04:41.740 Well, I want to just say to you personally, thank you for what you're doing. And think about this,

00:04:49.220 Senator, whenever you may get further frustrated by all that's happening in that swamp in D.C.,

00:04:56.380 the country deeply appreciates you and your values in representing the American people.

00:05:03.100 It's just extraordinary what this government, whether it's the Department of Justice or whether

00:05:07.680 it's the Pentagon, the FBI, the intelligence agencies. We have a government that is totally

00:05:13.240 out of control. Another way to say that is the Marxist Dems are in total control of our government.

00:05:19.040 Your thoughts? Well, you're exactly right. And you know, I was a football coach, Lou. I was in

00:05:24.200 education for 40 years, and I did this for service. I want to give back to the greatest country on the

00:05:29.980 face of the earth. And I wanted to go help the people of Alabama work to help our military become

00:05:35.740 stronger. And that's the reason it hurts me to do this for our military, because my dad was career

00:05:40.320 military, actually died on active duty. And of course, I want to do things for people in this

00:05:47.060 country to make their lives better. But I'm going to tell you, since I've been there for two and a

00:05:51.780 half years, it has opened my eyes to what is really going on in this country. As you said, we have

00:05:58.660 let our FBI become infiltrated with I don't know who knows what. Same thing with the CIA. The same

00:06:08.700 thing with the DOJ, which is absolutely the most corrupt thing. And everybody wants to impeach Biden

00:06:14.540 and all this. The first guy needs to go is Merrick Garland and Mayorkas. Those two need to go because

00:06:19.860 they have created such havoc for our country. But they've also destroyed our education. But they've

00:06:26.400 been doing that for years. Now they're working on our military. And it's the most woke military in

00:06:31.180 our history and continue to be that every day. And that's their aim. They want to bring down those

00:06:36.080 institutions. And when they finish up with our education and our military, they will have all

00:06:42.980 five or most important institutions in this country absolutely bottomed out in terms of being true

00:06:49.720 Americanism and making us more of a socialist country. Senator, I just want to continue with

00:06:56.800 the holds that you've got on those promotions for the for the general officers. And what do they say to

00:07:04.440 you? Do they have any kind of sincere and straightforward account of themselves? And haven't they? I just can't

00:07:15.080 believe it. To me, I'm absolutely bamboozled by the fact that they don't understand that you're a

00:07:21.680 serious man during the people's work. And the office of U.S. Senator is Trump's right now. They're all of

00:07:33.700 their brass and stars. Well, and to the people need to understand this. Again, I really feel bad for some

00:07:42.540 of these people, some of these generals and admirals. Some of them I don't, because I know

00:07:46.240 there's a portion of them that's going to be woke. And I'm sick of that. But that being said,

00:07:53.460 you would think that there would be some kind of conversation. I guess I think we've hit the

00:08:01.100 10th time that we've had to go to the floor in the Senate and fight off all the radical talk from

00:08:06.260 the Elizabeth Warrens and the Blumenthalts and, and the Bennets, you know, coming and attacking me 0.98

00:08:14.140 saying that I'm, I'm holding back readiness. And, you know, people need to get on with their lives.

00:08:19.440 We need to get families moved. You know, wait a minute now. I mean, the military, this military

00:08:25.740 is supposed to be the protector, not just of our country, but of the world.

00:08:29.560 We protect NATO. And, but what they're doing to it, Lou, is totally opposite of the direction

00:08:37.220 this military needs to be going. It's going in the same direction, as I said earlier, as the FBI,

00:08:41.840 the DOJ, the CIA, it's, it's out of control. And every time I talk with Secretary Austin and Milley

00:08:50.080 and open hearings, and you can go back and listen to my questioning, I tell them and listen, you know,

00:08:55.200 this is not an equal opportunity employer, the military. I mean, the military is there to protect

00:09:01.300 the citizens of this country and our allies. And we're going the opposite way with all the

00:09:07.360 transition, transgender people that want to be in the military. And somebody asked me, you know,

00:09:13.240 what do you think about President Trump? You know, he discriminated. I said, wait a minute.

00:09:17.140 I mean, you don't discriminate being in the military because you flat feet, you can't get in the military.

00:09:21.820 So what makes you think that we can take people in there that can't uphold the rule of being a

00:09:28.340 military person in terms of discipline and order and fighting? I mean, that's who we need in our

00:09:33.920 military. We don't need an identity politics military. We're talking with Senator Tommy Tuberville,

00:09:40.900 and he is taking it to the, the woke crowd in the swamp. And in particular, as we're talking today,

00:09:48.560 the U.S. military and the holding up promotions for the general officers until he gets an accounting

00:09:56.700 from their respect for the American people and their representatives. We're coming right back

00:10:02.520 for The Great America Show. Stay with us.

00:10:10.060 We're back now with Senator Tuberville. Senator, I want to, again, just thank you for being here with

00:10:15.340 us on The Great America Show. Thank you for what you're doing. Let us, give us a sense of the

00:10:20.860 support you have from the leadership in the Senate, as well as your, your colleagues in the conference.

00:10:28.340 Well, we've got some, you know, Senator Mike Lee has stood up with me most of the time that I've

00:10:32.760 been challenged on the floor about this, the holes. We've had J.D. Vance. We've had Senator

00:10:38.820 Marshall. We've had Joni Ernst. We've had several that have really stuck by us. There's not a lot,

00:10:45.680 you know, that have been vocal. And that's our prerogative. You know, and people ask me about

00:10:51.760 Senator McConnell. He came out pretty much and said he didn't agree with my assessment of how I was

00:10:58.080 doing things. But like I tell him, I said, listen, it's prerogative of every center to put a hold on

00:11:03.520 anything they want. That's, that's the only power you have when you're in the minority. And so as a

00:11:09.040 party, as Republicans, we need to figure out are we're the pro-life or we're not. And at the end of

00:11:15.080 the day, you can't ride the fence on this. And people say, well, you know, it's hurt us in the

00:11:19.760 election. Listen, this is, this is prerogative of anybody to, to say what you want to say and to

00:11:25.780 believe what you want to believe. I'm, I'm pro-life. I believe in the sanctity of life. And I don't

00:11:32.220 believe in, in abortion, you know, in this country. And again, this is really not about

00:11:39.580 abortion when it comes to this loop about, you know, because we've had an abortion policy. We've

00:11:45.340 had several dozen abortions a year in the military for rape, incest, and health of the mom. But now 1.00

00:11:51.420 they want to do it at any time. They also want to be able to pay for flights for the service member

00:11:57.460 to go to any state that they want to go to. And then, of course, the Hyde Amendment says

00:12:02.940 money used for an abortion is illegal in the United States. And you know who voted for that? Joe Biden

00:12:09.760 himself. So they have a short memory, but we have got to stand by our principles in this country,

00:12:15.440 especially in the Republican Party, because we know where the Democrats stand and it needs to

00:12:20.080 continue to be a fight. We need to fight for the unborn. I mean, this is a crazy thing. These,

00:12:25.020 these people have signed up for the U.S. military and had this woke doctrine just slammed down their

00:12:32.740 throats. And that's why I understand we're losing just scores of experienced, talented,

00:12:41.100 terrific service members every day.

00:12:45.780 Well, I'm going to be used as an excuse for the woke policies in the military because they're pointing

00:12:51.980 at me now that I'm hurting readiness. I'm hurting recruiting in the military on all levels, which is

00:12:57.220 totally false. It's all their woke policies that they're pushing in training and recruitment and

00:13:03.200 the less discipline that we have that we've normally had. And it's bending over backwards for all these

00:13:09.040 identity politics groups. And so our recruiting is down. It was down last year, 15,000, Lou, in Army.

00:13:17.720 Now, this year, it's probably going to be that or worse. We will not meet our goals in the Air Force

00:13:24.200 or Navy. Now, Marines seem to be doing well because they stick with what they believe in, you know,

00:13:29.480 the discipline, the hard-nosed factor of being a Marine. And so all those are working out. But

00:13:36.420 at the end of the day, they're going to blame me for their weakness in recruiting, which is fine.

00:13:42.700 I'll take the blame for it. I've done that before all my life being a coach. But that being said, they know

00:13:48.080 really deep down what's causing this. And something good is going to come out of all this.

00:13:53.760 I surely hope that the military comes to its senses. But watching Lloyd Austin and General Milley, you

00:13:59.120 mentioned, these are not very smart people in very important jobs, let alone having the character that you

00:14:07.120 would expect of a secretary of defense or a general officer. It's just very disappointing to me.

00:14:14.040 I want to turn to a couple of other things, if I may, which is obviously what has happened in Russia.

00:14:21.340 Vladimir Putin says that things are not going to be all bunnies and rainbows for

00:14:27.960 Gregoshin, the leader of the Wagner group, who has decided he wanted to go to Belarus instead of

00:14:38.300 try to get inside the Kremlin walls. Your thoughts on what has transpired there and what it means to

00:14:43.800 the country? Yeah, that looked like a total mess at the beginning. I don't know whether we're

00:14:50.500 involved in that or not. You never know, you know, with the people in our intelligence agency loop. But

00:14:55.120 Ukraine is obviously not doing very well. You know, I'm a supporter of Ukraine, but I'm not

00:15:00.940 presenting any more money. I hadn't voted for any money to go to Ukraine. I just don't think it's

00:15:06.720 our fight. I think we caused a lot of it by telling Russia that we're going to try to get Ukraine into 0.94

00:15:14.520 NATO, which they don't need to be in NATO. They need to be a neutral country. And, you know, there's a

00:15:19.880 I think we've made a lot of mistakes in this. We've got a lot of people killed probably

00:15:24.060 in Ukrainians and Russians that should have. The problem I have with all this is we don't

00:15:30.540 negotiate at all. And we should be negotiating every day. And Joe Biden not talking to Vladimir

00:15:38.120 Putin since the war started. To me, that's a war crime itself. I mean, that's your job as a leader

00:15:45.980 to stop this absolute madness. Now, Boghossian is, you know, he's a he's a thug. And, you know, 1.00

00:15:53.940 I think he got more mad at the minister of defense in Russia because he got bombed while they were in

00:15:58.920 Bakhmut. And there were some bombs that came over their heads or maybe hit in his troops. And

00:16:04.300 he blamed the minister of defense. But they got problems. You know, Russia is going to have

00:16:10.160 problems. Putin is trying to juggle a lot of a lot of eggs at one time, trying to keep everybody

00:16:16.680 happy, knowing that, you know, he started this thing should never done it. But you can also blame

00:16:22.300 the United States for not going in and trying to negotiate and get us out, getting Ukraine out of 1.00

00:16:27.260 this mess, rush out of it and get the world back to peace. It just seems like that there's nothing

00:16:33.160 there's not been one positive step in the last year of this war. And hopefully we can get this 0.98

00:16:38.660 thing over soon because, you know, there's more and more people getting killed every day. And we're

00:16:44.520 not there. We don't see it. We're not living it. But you can imagine what the people of Ukraine and

00:16:49.060 the Russian people are going through as we speak. Absolutely. And our hearts go out to everyone

00:16:56.080 who is who's just been devastated by this needless, needless invasion and war of attrition that's

00:17:06.220 followed over the course of the past almost year and a half. We're talking with Senator Tommy

00:17:11.160 Tuberville. We're going to be talking about what is China doing in this hemisphere? And what are the 0.63

00:17:17.620 prospects of another Cuba missile crisis? We're coming right back with Senator Tuberville. Stay with us.

00:17:26.080 And now we're back with Senator Tommy Tuberville. And Senator, let's talk about, if we may,

00:17:36.660 this report that the Biden administration will do nothing about the another spy balloon over the

00:17:46.660 United States. Yeah, this is a tough, touchy situation. We're in a Cold War with China. We know 1.00

00:17:56.360 that they're our biggest adversary. They've got a growing military. I don't know how we stand up to

00:18:05.080 them. Nobody would know unless we start fighting them. And we surely don't want that to happen.

00:18:09.860 But both countries need each other. I don't, I don't, and we, I hear all this talk back and

00:18:16.240 forth about, we got to do this to them and them to us, you know, about trade and the economy. You

00:18:21.820 know, you got to remember Xi Jinping wakes up every day knowing that he's got to feed 1.4 billion

00:18:27.600 people. Now we only got 330 million people and we struggle with that. Can you imagine? So he's got more

00:18:34.540 problems than what you would think. But he's putting a lot of money in his defense. He has

00:18:41.120 gone to Cuba, evidently. I haven't read anything recently on that. But obviously, if you look at

00:18:49.300 one thing, Lou, if you look at what we did in just a few months back, we put a base or two bases

00:18:57.340 basically in the Philippines. And I would imagine that got to the underneath 0.99

00:19:03.920 the skin of Xi Jinping. And he saw us do that. And we put Marines, we're putting all

00:19:11.960 kind of battalions in the Philippines. I would imagine that triggered his thoughts of, hey,

00:19:17.980 if they're going to do that, where's the next place we can go? And here we come to Cuba.

00:19:22.980 Now, I would imagine there's some something to that. But we got to stop this madness knowing

00:19:30.080 that we don't need to do anything in terms of creating a war with China and they don't 0.54

00:19:35.320 need to do it with us. We need each other, to be honest with you. And we need to work

00:19:39.640 with each other. But I just it goes back to what Ukraine, we have no leadership in the

00:19:44.940 White House. We have no leadership in the Pentagon. And we got problems with Ukraine and Russia.

00:19:50.660 Nobody's trying to stop it. And we should be trying to stop it every day. And it's the same

00:19:55.200 thing. We send Blinken over there, the Secretary of State to China, and they pretty much laugh

00:19:59.760 at him every time he goes over there. What kind of kind of dignitary is this guy? What kind

00:20:05.100 of negotiating skills is Tony Blinken got? You know, Joe Biden needs to do it himself.

00:20:12.040 I guarantee you one thing. Donald Trump would have been over there already. He'd have been

00:20:17.700 he'd have been in Russia trying to put a stop to this. He would have he would have been already

00:20:22.800 back to China, back to North Korea. I understand that that's what he's got to do. That's his

00:20:29.780 job. I don't understand. I don't understand what Joe Biden thinks his job is. His job is

00:20:34.320 to stop this damn war in Ukraine. And his job is to settle all this commotion down with 0.99

00:20:39.480 China instead of escalating it. But it seemed like he wants war. He wants to keep everything 0.69

00:20:44.960 going, stirred up, because he's got obviously problems himself. But just because he's got

00:20:50.340 problems, he doesn't need to put America in peril.

00:20:53.740 Yeah. America has been in peril, I believe, Senator, from the moment that he walked into

00:20:59.040 the White House. We know he's an impaired and puppet president. We have no idea. We can 0.98

00:21:05.660 suspect who in the world is guiding this country to the degree that it is being guided in terms

00:21:13.980 of foreign policy. But right now, this is a this is a perilous, perilous time, don't you

00:21:20.980 think?

00:21:22.100 Oh, there's no doubt about it. We're the ship without a rudder, Luke. And, you know, the

00:21:26.140 American people have no confidence in this foreign policy of anybody in Washington, D.C.

00:21:32.100 It is just it's just kind of a makeshift. What do we do now? There's not been one move

00:21:39.140 starting with Afghanistan that anybody believes in. Every foreign country I travel to, they 1.00

00:21:44.660 look at us going, what in the world happened in Afghanistan? You know, we just left. We

00:21:49.680 talked a lot of our allies into going into helping us. People don't talk about this a

00:21:53.880 lot, Luke, in Afghanistan of helping us. You know, we didn't even let them know we were

00:21:57.800 leaving. We just packed up and left. Wait a minute. Where are y'all going? We're out

00:22:02.020 of here. And, you know, you don't run foreign policy like we need our friends. We need our

00:22:09.900 neighbors. We need our allies. But, you know, these people do things on a whim instead of

00:22:16.740 calculated, understanding what the consequences are if you make a decision one way, if you make

00:22:23.140 it the other. And it but it's just goes back to one thing. There's no leadership in this

00:22:28.000 administration. And my gosh, if we don't get them out of there, it I just worry about what

00:22:33.560 could happen in the future.

00:22:35.240 Well, Senator, we always give our guests the very last word. And I'm going to ask for your

00:22:39.180 concluding thoughts. Now, it's been great talking with you and appreciate all that you're doing

00:22:44.040 to to repeat myself. Thanks for all you're doing for the country.

00:22:47.940 Well, thank you. And we got a tough row ahead of us. And we got big election come up here

00:22:53.300 and a half. But you're in a half a long time, Lou, Lou. And we we have got to find somebody

00:22:58.680 that's got some common sense in the Defense Department, in our CIA, the DOJ. I hope we

00:23:04.440 don't get into a fight about impeachment with President Biden. But I am willing to hopefully

00:23:09.340 they go after Mayorkas, who is open to borders and killed many, many thousands of people here 1.00

00:23:14.320 in this country with all the drugs he's let in. And then obviously, Merrick Garland, who's

00:23:20.080 mad at the world because he's not a Supreme Court justice. And he's just taken up the whim of

00:23:24.960 attacking everything that America is about because he's mad at the country for not being

00:23:29.380 in the Supreme Court. So hopefully we can get it straight. But people need to get on their

00:23:33.980 knees and pray at night when they get up and pray at night before they go to bed for our

00:23:37.420 country, because our country is in trouble.

00:23:39.560 Amen, Senator. I appreciate your thoughts. And we will join you in that prayer. This country

00:23:47.320 is in, as you say, very, very deep trouble. Senator Tuberville, we appreciate everything

00:23:54.200 you're doing for this country, this great country of ours. Thanks so much.

00:23:57.720 Thank you.

00:23:58.680 Thanks for being with us, everybody. Our guest here tomorrow will be conservative Republican

00:24:02.720 Congressman Matt Rosendale. He represents Montana's Second District, and he's a great American.

00:24:08.880 Be sure to follow me on Truth Social and Twitter at Lou Dobbs. That's at Lou Dobbs. And our

00:24:14.860 website is loudobs.com. Thanks. God bless you. And God bless America.
