The Great America Show - PLAN RED： CHINA'S PROJECT TO DESTORY AMERICA

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody, and welcome to The Great America Show.

00:00:05.100 It's great to have you with us.

00:00:06.900 Well, America's in turmoil right now, whether it be our foreign policy, our electoral integrity,

00:00:12.700 hurricanes rip-roaring through the whole southeast of America.

00:00:17.100 The list goes on and on.

00:00:18.440 We have a border invasion, the Biden-Harris administration letting millions, if not over

00:00:22.840 20 million illegals into this country, drugs pouring through the southern border, and a

00:00:27.180 stock market that's teetering, that can go any way, at any point, at any day.

00:00:32.100 We don't even know if we have a president right now.

00:00:34.060 Joe Biden has been missing in action since Kamala Harris stole the presidency from him

00:00:38.460 and the nomination.

00:00:40.180 But America's not the only ones in trouble.

00:00:42.520 China this week suffering the worst stock market fall in 27 years.

00:00:48.340 Now, in some cases, economic downfall leads to war.

00:00:52.760 I want to bring in our guest today.

00:00:54.120 He's Gordon Chang.

00:00:54.900 He's the author of an all-new book, Plan Red, China's Project to Destroy America.

00:00:59.620 He joins us now.

00:01:00.600 Gordon, thank you so much for joining us today.

00:01:03.260 We spoke about this last time, economic downfall and sometimes it leading to war.

00:01:08.800 We've seen it here in America multiple times over the course of the last 200 years or so.

00:01:14.180 What does this mean for China?

00:01:16.320 I think this means that optimism about China, which is, you know, long-lasting and around

00:01:22.800 the world is finally coming to an end.

00:01:25.340 Got to remember that this started because about a week ago, the People's Bank of China,

00:01:29.900 the central bank, announced rate cuts.

00:01:32.660 And analysts around the world, investors said, oh, look, this is stimulus.

00:01:37.260 And they drove up the Chinese markets 24% in a week.

00:01:41.460 Now, this was unprecedented.

00:01:43.880 But what we're seeing is that investors are looking and saying, well, look, what the central

00:01:48.560 bank did really wasn't that significant.

00:01:51.680 And now there's a reversal.

00:01:53.920 The other thing that was interesting, John, is that while the foreigners were pouring in, 0.98

00:01:58.220 retail Chinese investors were bailing out.

00:02:00.840 They were using the opportunity to get out of what was clearly a dangerous situation for

00:02:06.220 them.

00:02:06.780 And I think we're going to see the Chinese stock market come back down.

00:02:10.320 It's been one of the worst performers since the middle of 2021.

00:02:14.520 Essentially, about $6.5 trillion of value has been wiped out.

00:02:19.440 A little bit before, about $7 trillion was taken out of the market.

00:02:24.300 So really, what we're talking about is a disastrous situation.

00:02:29.420 And I think that the Chinese themselves must be panicking right now because they can see that

00:02:34.320 whatever they were doing isn't working.

00:02:36.600 One more point.

00:02:37.260 Foreign investors, they cheered more state intervention in the Chinese markets.

00:02:43.620 But it was state intervention that caused the problems in the first place.

00:02:47.700 So that stock market rally up 24% in a week, that was always going to reverse itself.

00:02:53.980 I'm just surprised it reversed itself so quickly and so fast.

00:02:57.800 Now, you're a market expert of America, neither am I.

00:03:02.740 We go to the guys that make a lot of money for that stuff.

00:03:06.200 But we saw a few weeks ago, or months ago, I should say, what happened in Japan when their

00:03:12.840 currency started to fall and the effect it had on the American markets.

00:03:16.400 I have two questions for you.

00:03:17.940 Number one, they're reporting that it's down to the lowest point in 27 years, right?

00:03:22.660 Is it as low as they're really telling us, or is it worse than they're telling?

00:03:27.140 Is it not as bad as they're telling us, number one?

00:03:29.660 And number two, will this have an effect on the American markets, or are we immune from it?

00:03:35.200 Two great questions.

00:03:37.520 I think the Chinese markets are actually worse than they look.

00:03:41.180 And the reason is that there's state intervention.

00:03:44.140 There's state buying.

00:03:44.920 And that has, of course, an effect of rigging the markets, in a sense.

00:03:50.220 But it also means something more fundamental.

00:03:53.140 And that is Xi Jinping is re-nationalizing Chinese companies.

00:03:56.940 So the state stakes are getting larger.

00:04:00.460 That's not good.

00:04:02.040 Now, in effect on the U.S. markets and elsewhere, because we misunderstand what's going on in China,

00:04:09.920 it will have an effect here, because people say, oh, my gosh, how can things be that bad?

00:04:15.540 But if we really knew what was going on, not only in the Chinese economy,

00:04:18.940 but also the way the Chinese stock markets work, because they're not real stock markets like we think of them,

00:04:25.560 then I think that people would have a much more balanced view, and therefore, they wouldn't panic.

00:04:30.640 But they don't.

00:04:31.520 Wall Street just panics.

00:04:33.040 That's the nature of the industry.

00:04:35.520 So, yeah, we're going to feel it here, and other countries are going to feel it there as well. 0.99

00:04:39.920 Now, what about, for example, we'll take some of these useful idiots, such as Apple, 0.99

00:04:45.660 who went over to China and given them. 0.99

00:04:48.280 They didn't steal anything.

00:04:49.240 China hasn't stolen a damn thing from us.

00:04:51.280 It's a big misconception people make.

00:04:53.400 We give it to them.

00:04:54.780 What effect does it have on companies like Apple?

00:04:57.840 They're not listed on their markets at all.

00:04:59.840 But what effect will it have on a company like Apple, a company like Microsoft,

00:05:03.640 even a company like Tesla that's extremely dependent on China, their markets?

00:05:09.880 And, you know, for Tesla, for example, their rare earth minerals.

00:05:14.700 With regard to Apple, which is vulnerable, I think the markets in the United States and elsewhere

00:05:20.060 have just overestimated Apple's potential in China,

00:05:24.960 because I believe that Apple has a limited time left in that country.

00:05:30.020 And the reason is Xi Jinping is just determined to push out foreign companies.

00:05:35.020 Right.

00:05:35.220 He wants to support Huawei, which has become a big phone maker.

00:05:39.520 And so they're doing everything possible to limit Apple's potential there.

00:05:44.300 So I think the American markets have put too much value into Apple because Apple is going to be out of China.

00:05:51.500 It's interesting you say Huawei.

00:05:52.920 I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cut you off.

00:05:54.420 But it's interesting you say Huawei because three or four years ago, all we heard was Huawei

00:05:57.680 and the towers they were building and the communications they were building.

00:06:00.360 And we were terrified that it was coming to America.

00:06:03.080 Now you're not really hearing it as much in America.

00:06:05.220 Why is that?

00:06:06.660 Well, because the Federal Communications Commission, in addition to Congress,

00:06:10.960 has made sure that Huawei's equipment is being ripped out of America's telecom backbone.

00:06:17.180 Why was it here in the first place?

00:06:18.420 It shouldn't have been here in the first place for a lot of reasons.

00:06:23.000 There's still some Huawei equipment in rural areas.

00:06:26.840 The FCC has been basically engaged in trench warfare with local telecom operators in rural states.

00:06:34.500 But eventually it will all be taken out.

00:06:37.100 You're absolutely right.

00:06:37.960 It should have never been here in the first place.

00:06:40.200 Huawei is a player in telecoms.

00:06:43.300 Matter of fact, the world's leading player in network equipment because it stole its technology from Cisco and from others.

00:06:51.960 So, yeah, they never should have been here in the first place.

00:06:55.660 You had mentioned farmland.

00:06:56.740 It's interesting you say that because over the last year or so, we've heard about China coming and buying up farmland across this country.

00:07:03.560 Is there any correlation to that?

00:07:05.400 And it's not just farmland.

00:07:06.820 It's land that's close to military bases.

00:07:09.040 Everything the Chinese do is strategic because they're smarter than us on every front, especially with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris leading this country.

00:07:17.520 Under President Trump, not so much the case.

00:07:19.900 And hopefully after November 5th, it won't be the case.

00:07:22.300 But, you know, is there any correlation to that, to these rural areas having broadband built up by Huawei and farmlands being bought up around the country?

00:07:33.380 Well, the correlation is that China is determined to take over the United States.

00:07:38.660 With farmland and ranch land, there are about three or four things going on.

00:07:43.140 One of them is that there are some purchases which are strategic, which I'm sure the Communist Party is directing Chinese companies to buy land near, for instance, Grand Forks Air Force Base.

00:07:56.060 That's Fufang, the Shandong food processor.

00:07:59.680 And there are some other purchases close to military facilities which are otherwise inexplicable.

00:08:05.180 But also, there's been purchases of farmland just by the triads, the Chinese gangs. 0.87

00:08:11.340 And they use farmland for a number of things, like illegal marijuana grows, which are all over Oklahoma and Maine, for instance.

00:08:19.280 But also in Oklahoma, we're seeing Chinese parties base human trafficking operations on farmland.

00:08:27.980 In Oklahoma, the Chinese build fences around their property.

00:08:31.580 That's not a big deal.

00:08:32.660 Every American in Oklahoma has a fence on their farmland.

00:08:36.160 The difference is that Americans build fences to keep people out.

00:08:40.720 The Chinese are building fences on their farmland to keep people in. 1.00

00:08:45.340 That is ominous.

00:08:46.740 They patrol their land with machine guns.

00:08:50.240 This is a really bad story.

00:08:52.100 I mean, this is our country, and we've allowed this to occur.

00:08:55.080 So, obviously, we need to get the Chinese out of our farmland, out of our ranch land. 1.00

00:09:00.740 If they want to own a condo in Honolulu, I'm not that upset.

00:09:04.580 But I'm really, really upset about farm and ranch land.

00:09:08.080 And it's not just land, Gordon.

00:09:10.760 And it's not just Huawei.

00:09:12.820 We saw in America this year, right here in New York City, a shadow police state being run in Chinatown, in Manhattan, right under our very eyes, for years. 0.95

00:09:25.640 For years.

00:09:26.280 Now, you have the FBI and the CIA and the NSA.

00:09:30.600 Their focus is on spying on Americans who don't do anything wrong.

00:09:35.040 Their focus is on going after school board parents who protest at schools because transgender, and there's no such thing as a transgender.

00:09:42.060 I don't know why I just said that.

00:09:43.380 A man is a man.

00:09:44.040 A woman is a woman. 1.00

00:09:44.720 But men participating in women's sports.

00:09:47.880 That's who the FBI is so keen on going after.

00:09:51.080 That's who the NSA and the CIA is so keen on spying on because these are domestic terrorists in their eyes, obviously not in ours, or mine at least.

00:09:58.940 But we have a police state, Gordon, in this country by the Chinese, right, under our very eyes. 1.00

00:10:05.060 And it's only gotten worse under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

00:10:07.600 Your thoughts?

00:10:08.000 Yeah, the FBI closed the Chinese police station on East Broadway in Chinatown in New York City.

00:10:14.640 Took them a long time, but they did it.

00:10:16.880 But according to Daily Caller and New York Post reporting, there are either seven or nine remaining police stations spread across the country.

00:10:25.860 One, by the way, in Minnesota, which has a governor who is Tim Waltz.

00:10:30.720 That's a long story.

00:10:32.180 But the point is, why these operations remain there, I don't know.

00:10:36.540 Because we know that the Ministry of State Security and Chinese consular officials are coercing, intimidating, and blackmailing people who are on our soil legally.

00:10:47.480 They're ethnic Chinese.

00:10:48.900 Some of them are Chinese nationals.

00:10:51.100 Others actually are American citizens.

00:10:54.140 But Beijing has been trying to weaponize blood, quote unquote, as they call it. 0.66

00:10:59.440 And we've allowed them to do that.

00:11:01.260 You know, John, I'll say it again.

00:11:03.220 This is our country.

00:11:04.440 Why do we permit this?

00:11:05.600 We know this has been going on.

00:11:07.260 We know that Ministry of State Security agents have been committing crimes on our soil.

00:11:11.780 And we have had presidents who knew this and didn't do anything about it.

00:11:16.340 So, yeah, we should be really angry at the Chinese. 1.00

00:11:19.380 We should be more angry at the people we elect, the people we elect to defend ourselves.

00:11:25.080 Well, Gordon, who did you expect was going to do anything about it?

00:11:26.960 Joe Biden, who was getting 10 percent as the big guy from his son, Hunter Biden, who was taking trips overseas to Asia on Air Force Two with his father as vice president, as he was in between smoking crack and having prostitutes at his house and making millions of dollars for him and his business partners.

00:11:44.460 And when when the whistleblowers came out and said something about it, you know, it was all bets are off.

00:11:49.900 And it was what it was.

00:11:51.280 We got to take a quick break here.

00:11:52.320 When we return, we're talking about Americans and us being the problem. 0.99

00:11:56.680 A big one, Mark Cuban, former owner of the Dallas Mavericks, still backing Chinese, the Chinese, even after all the human rights abuses and the NBA making money on it. 1.00

00:12:06.880 I also want to take up Tim Waltz and what problem that poses to America if, God forbid, they win on November 5th.

00:12:13.240 We're talking with Gordon Chang.

00:12:14.480 He's the author of the all new book, Plan Red.

00:12:16.640 We're coming right back.

00:12:17.400 Stay with us.

00:12:19.500 Folks, are you tired of supporting big box stores and multibillion dollar corporations that don't support us?

00:12:24.380 Corporations that donate tens of millions of dollars a year to push woke Marxist dem ideologies, whether it be Amazon and Jeff Bezos or Target with their transgender clothing for kids, or even Bud Light going totally woke.

00:12:35.400 Enough is enough.

00:12:36.440 Why should we as lovers of this country continue to support these corporations?

00:12:40.200 The answer is we shouldn't.

00:12:42.000 I constantly get people who reach out to me and ask, John, what can we do to save this country?

00:12:46.180 Where can we shop and support American made brands and conservative ideologies?

00:12:49.660 Well, we now have a solution to stop shopping at these woke companies and stop funding the deep state and a solution to buy American.

00:12:57.000 This is something we can all do right now to kick the deep state in the teeth and stop funding our enemies and vote with our dollars.

00:13:03.020 We have a parallel economy for around 450 household products.

00:13:07.500 Not only can you cancel woke brands like Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson, you can also cancel the stores that carry them.

00:13:13.200 I need you all to head over to switchwithjohn.com, that's switchwithjohn.com, where you can read all about our movement.

00:13:21.460 We have access to a conservative manufacturer that will replace these brands and the stores you buy them from.

00:13:26.240 It isn't an additional budget item because instead of turning right into Target or left into Walmart, you're going to shop directly online, directly with the manufacturer.

00:13:34.260 Folks, this is a patriot movement that is happening right now before our eyes.

00:13:37.880 Every 47 seconds, a shopper is switching to our online store, and we need you to partner with us, join us, and band together.

00:13:44.940 I just canceled my Amazon Prime subscription because I've truly had enough.

00:13:48.620 So what do you say? It's time to put your money where your heart is?

00:13:51.420 Join us today and help save this nation.

00:13:53.140 Go to switchwithjohn.com, that's switchwithjohn.com, to learn how you can join thousands of other patriots and help take this nation back.

00:14:02.460 Switchwithjohn.com. We'll see you there.

00:14:04.260 We're back. We're talking with Gordon Chang, author of the all-new book, Plan Red.

00:14:10.300 It's available for order now. We encourage you all to go out and buy it.

00:14:13.480 A great read.

00:14:15.360 Gordon, you brought up Tim Waltz, and it scares the hell out of me, the prospect of them winning on November 5th.

00:14:22.240 And I think the only way they win is if they steal it again.

00:14:24.160 But nonetheless, if they win, Tim Waltz, I mean, his ties to China, I think, are worse than what we've seen to the likes of Hunter Biden.

00:14:34.480 And Hunter Biden was getting millions of dollars from these people.

00:14:36.980 His business partners were getting millions of dollars.

00:14:39.040 And his father, Joe Biden, the president of the United States, getting millions of dollars.

00:14:44.420 What does it mean for America if Waltz and Harris are to win with regards to foreign policy with China?

00:14:51.440 It means that a communist sympathizer is one heartbeat away from the Oval Office.

00:14:58.500 You know, the Chinese had to pay the Biden family.

00:15:01.840 Tim Waltz, they just got him for free because he actually believes this stuff from all that we can tell.

00:15:07.180 From his recent statements, the thing about Tim Waltz, first decade of this century,

00:15:12.260 he was taking American high school students, bringing them to China so they could be indoctrinated.

00:15:17.020 That exercise had to have been approved by the Communist Party's United Front Work Department,

00:15:22.840 which is the part of the party that subverts foreign governments.

00:15:26.940 Now, Tim Waltz can't say, well, I was young and a knucklehead then,

00:15:31.820 because we know from Daily Caller reporting that Tim Waltz today, as governor of Minnesota,

00:15:37.920 has had continuous contact with Communist Party front organizations in his state.

00:15:43.220 He's actually appointed essentially a communist agent to a Minnesota government board.

00:15:49.120 And as we just talked about, there is a secret police station run by the Chinese in,

00:15:55.280 I think it's Minneapolis, but I know it's in Minnesota.

00:15:57.860 So I think Tim Waltz has an obligation to tell the American people about his ties.

00:16:05.200 We know that he's lied about them.

00:16:06.800 And clearly, he needs to come clean, because this guy could be president of the United States.

00:16:13.080 He could be a communist agent as president.

00:16:16.700 And we need to hear from him what happened, because clearly, from what we know right now,

00:16:22.560 it is deeply, deeply suspicious.

00:16:25.540 And that's just further down the rabbit hole, Gordon, of Americans being the problem, 1.00

00:16:29.180 we being the problem, not you or I, but these people.

00:16:31.560 I said Mark Cuban before.

00:16:34.060 Another one, I just want to go off on a little tangent here, because it blows my mind.

00:16:39.160 I was watching Tennessee the other day, and they're over in, nonetheless, in Wuhan,

00:16:43.200 playing an ATP tour in Wuhan, China.

00:16:46.140 Why these professional organizations, the MLB, the NBA,

00:16:50.280 anybody who does licensing agreements, brings business over there,

00:16:54.220 what are these people doing?

00:16:55.740 The Chinese killed millions of Americans, over a million Americans, 0.98

00:16:59.280 and millions across the world, essentially got away with it. 0.93

00:17:02.520 We know that it didn't come from the wet market, the China virus.

00:17:05.940 We know it's a man-made disease.

00:17:08.180 We knew it was a man-made disease back then.

00:17:10.800 Yet, they got off scot-free with it.

00:17:13.160 Trump, you know, unfortunately, had to leave office after January of 21,

00:17:18.180 which then brought in Joe Biden, who was a big, tough guy talking.

00:17:21.420 But when push came to shove, he did absolutely nothing about it.

00:17:24.160 China has gotten off scot-free for killing millions of people 1.00

00:17:27.940 and causing billions and trillions of dollars worth of damage economically to America and the world.

00:17:34.660 How are they getting away with this?

00:17:36.940 They're getting away with it because Joe Biden is president.

00:17:40.380 You know, President Trump understood something,

00:17:43.340 and that was the World Health Organization was in China's pocket.

00:17:46.640 And the WHO actually helped China spread a narrative that senior WHO doctors knew was false.

00:17:55.260 That narrative was that SARS-CoV-2, the pathogen that causes COVID-19,

00:18:00.440 was not readily transmissible human to human.

00:18:03.820 In January of 2020, a critical month regarding spread of this disease,

00:18:09.440 the WHO had a statement that the disease was not readily transmissible,

00:18:13.640 transmissible, and there was a tweet from the director general of the WHO, Dr. Tedros, to the same effect.

00:18:21.680 Senior WHO doctors who were involved in looking at communicable diseases, especially viruses,

00:18:27.940 knew that those statements and that tweet were false.

00:18:32.100 So President Trump took us out of the WHO.

00:18:34.720 What did Joe Biden do?

00:18:36.080 I think it was his first day in office.

00:18:37.780 If it wasn't, it was like the second day.

00:18:39.620 He put us back into the WHO, and that was just wrong.

00:18:44.880 And the reason why it was wrong was because we know that the Chinese regime 0.98

00:18:49.000 deliberately spread this disease beyond its borders.

00:18:51.880 They lied about contagiousness, and while they were locking down their own country,

00:18:55.880 they were pressuring others, including the United States,

00:18:58.340 to take arrivals from China without travel restrictions or quarantines.

00:19:02.580 You put those two things together, John,

00:19:04.300 and it means that 7 million people outside of China who died from COVID were murdered.

00:19:10.640 That includes 1.2 million Americans, according to Johns Hopkins.

00:19:14.280 And yes, we can argue about the number of people that COVID killed,

00:19:17.340 but anything above zero is completely unacceptable.

00:19:20.860 And I would even argue, and I said this from the beginning,

00:19:23.220 I was one of the first people to get it.

00:19:25.220 I look at it as genocide, because we don't know who they released it on.

00:19:29.040 If it was meant for America, it's genocide against the American people. 0.87

00:19:32.260 They meant to kill the American people. 0.96

00:19:33.760 Now, Xi Jinping doesn't give a damn about his own people. 0.95

00:19:36.480 He wouldn't care if he wiped out, I mean, half the population, 0.74

00:19:39.040 especially if it were women and not military-age fighting men.

00:19:43.300 So it didn't matter for him.

00:19:44.480 It didn't make a difference one way or another.

00:19:46.840 But we still have these people in America.

00:19:48.960 I had mentioned Mark Cuban recently saying he's fine with the NBA having ties to China,

00:19:55.340 and he understands there's human rights abuses, but it is what it is.

00:19:59.500 It's just business.

00:20:00.940 Tell the audience, if you will, that the human rights abuses that China, 1.00

00:20:04.580 and it's not just the Uyghurs.

00:20:05.800 We often hear the Uyghurs, the Muslim population that China is persecuting,

00:20:10.240 and essentially hasn't been slave over, but it's Catholics, it's Christians, it's monks.

00:20:14.240 I spoke to somebody on the show recently who lived in China for six months,

00:20:17.340 and he said the abuses and disgusting things that was being done against monks and people of any faith in China

00:20:27.320 is just the likes of things we've never seen before.

00:20:30.800 You have Mark Cuban. 1.00

00:20:31.540 Mark Cuban is dumb as he is. 1.00

00:20:33.060 He's a smart guy. 1.00

00:20:33.860 He knows what's going on.

00:20:35.340 And I think he knows how bad it is, yet he sits there and parades China. 0.98

00:20:39.040 And I think he falls in line perfectly with the people he endorsed, Tim Walz and Kamala Harris.

00:20:46.180 Your thoughts?

00:20:47.440 First of all, you made a critical point, which if I can go back for a second, about genocide.

00:20:54.060 If you look at the definition of genocide in the Genocide Convention of 1948,

00:20:58.440 to which the United States is a partner, a party,

00:21:01.200 yes, what China did with regard to spreading COVID beyond its borders was a genocide

00:21:06.880 because it was targeted on an ethnic group.

00:21:10.180 And the ethnic group was non-Chinese.

00:21:12.180 So you're absolutely right about that.

00:21:14.020 And we should be making this point every single time.

00:21:16.740 With regard to Mark Cuban, what's going on in China are atrocities.

00:21:22.840 It's genocide against Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and other Turkic minorities,

00:21:28.340 against Tibetans, and against Mongolians.

00:21:33.240 So there's genocide going on there.

00:21:36.740 Especially in Xinjiang, there's been the detention in concentration camps of

00:21:41.660 somewhere between one and three million people.

00:21:44.280 Experts argue over the number.

00:21:46.180 But we also know that inside those camps, there is murder, there is torture,

00:21:50.800 there is official rape.

00:21:53.080 We know that there are imprisonment of children.

00:21:55.820 That's because parents, mothers and fathers, have been both in prison.

00:22:01.180 And basically, they have what they call orphanages, but which resemble prisons.

00:22:07.280 So prisons for minors.

00:22:09.940 You go through all the rest of the things.

00:22:12.080 With Tibetans, essentially the same thing.

00:22:15.900 People of faith.

00:22:17.320 This is occurring all across China.

00:22:19.420 And it's occurring not just against what are considered to be the foreign religions like Christianity.

00:22:23.940 It's also against people of faith of so-called domestic religions like Buddhism.

00:22:30.380 Xi Jinping has no tolerance for faith of any sort.

00:22:33.520 You go through this.

00:22:34.980 This is a system which is responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of Chinese under Mao Zedong.

00:22:42.840 And it's continuing under Xi Jinping in different forms.

00:22:46.700 But nonetheless, this is murder.

00:22:48.780 This is genocide.

00:22:49.880 These are crimes against humanity.

00:22:51.300 And Mark Cuban, if you're listening, you have endorsed atrocities.

00:22:56.840 I can assure you Mark Cuban's not listening.

00:22:59.080 Mark Cuban, I think, has been blocked on Twitter and every other social media platform.

00:23:03.760 I had the pleasure of meeting him one day outside of a nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

00:23:08.460 And I confronted him because he was with two women, neither of which were his wife, a long time ago.

00:23:13.640 But nonetheless, it happened.

00:23:15.000 We're going to take a quick break here, Gordon.

00:23:16.880 And we're coming right back.

00:23:18.140 I want to take up, we could spend hours talking about China, but I want to take up something else that's happening on the other side of that world.

00:23:23.700 And that's North Korea. 0.64

00:23:25.060 They're acting up again just in time for the November election.

00:23:28.860 We're going to take that up on the other side of this quick break.

00:23:30.800 And we're also going to take up Gordon's new book, Plan Red.

00:23:34.440 We're coming right back with Gordon Chang.

00:24:44.400 We're back.

00:24:45.080 We're talking with Gordon Chang.

00:24:46.240 He's the author of the all-new book, Plan Red, China's Project to Destroy America, which we recommend to you all highly.

00:24:52.560 A great read.

00:24:53.640 We're going to get into that in just a few moments, but I want to talk first, Gordon.

00:24:57.440 North Korea, Kim Jong-un, and we were talking before the show today, very interesting.

00:25:03.260 The correlation and the friendships, or friendships in air quotes, between Kim Jong-un, Xi Jinping, and Vladimir Putin.

00:25:09.820 And I had said to you, the way I look at it is they all have a knife in each other's back halfway in, and they're ready to finish the job at any given point, any slip up.

00:25:19.620 But Kim Jong-un this week sent a letter to Vladimir Putin congratulating him on his work he's doing in Ukraine and wishing him a happy birthday, which Xi Jinping is not very happy about because he thought he had a good relationship with Kim Jong-un.

00:25:35.920 They exchanged letters, I think it was two months ago, where they wanted to strengthen ties, puts North Korea in a very peculiar place right now.

00:25:45.280 What's going on there, Gordon?

00:25:46.740 Yeah, this is absolutely fascinating.

00:25:49.260 Kim Jong-un went to Russia and met Vladimir Putin outside of Vladivostok at a Cosmodrome.

00:25:55.160 This was September of last year.

00:25:56.540 And that's where, supposedly, they stitched together their deal, where the North Koreans would sell artillery shells and ballistic missiles.

00:26:05.120 And in return, they would get technology for missiles and perhaps nuclear weapons.

00:26:11.060 Since that time, North Korea has supplied millions of shells to the Russians.

00:26:17.460 We know that North Korean soldiers have died on the battlefield in Ukraine.

00:26:23.680 So there is a tight connection there.

00:26:25.820 A lot of very smart people in New York and Washington believe that China is really, really, really miffed by this.

00:26:33.300 And to a certain extent, they are.

00:26:34.940 But the Chinese also know that neither the Russians nor the North Koreans can go very far.

00:26:41.840 They can't stray out of the Chinese orbit because both Russia and North Korea depend on China. 0.60

00:26:48.100 And it's a critical dependence.

00:26:49.960 So the Chinese are sort of indulgent. 1.00

00:26:51.880 They will let the North Koreans mouth off every once in a while. 0.86

00:26:55.120 But when the Chinese really want something out of North Korea, they get it. 1.00

00:26:59.340 And they get it because prior to September of last year, China accounted for about 95% of North Korea's foreign trade.

00:27:09.040 That's just something that North Korea can't replace. 0.65

00:27:12.920 So who do you think is more loyal to who?

00:27:16.220 Is Kim Jong-un more loyal to Putin?

00:27:20.100 Is he more loyal to Xi?

00:27:21.600 Is Xi more loyal to Kim Jong-un than he is to Vladimir Putin?

00:27:25.740 And it seems like Putin doesn't give a damn who is who because obviously Putin has no loyalty to anybody, nor do any of them for that matter.

00:27:34.240 But where is the true alliance there?

00:27:36.760 I mean, if push comes to shove and Russia gets in trouble, does China jump on that opportunity and vice versa?

00:27:42.880 If China gets itself into a little bit of trouble, does Russia decide to start moving to the east towards China?

00:27:49.620 Great questions.

00:27:50.680 On the basics, China has had a military alliance with North Korea for decades, going back to about 1961.

00:27:59.400 Until June of this year, that was North Korea's only military alliance.

00:28:06.500 And China's only military alliance is with North Korea.

00:28:09.140 In June, Russia and North Korea signed up a comprehensive strategic partnership deal, which is said to have a clause requiring both North Korea and Russia to come to the aid of each other if one of them is attacked.

00:28:25.560 However, when we start to look at this relationship, I think that essentially Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin are pretty much on the same page.

00:28:33.360 And the reason is the Chinese want to disrupt the international system. 1.00

00:28:37.740 Vladimir Putin has the gall to do it.

00:28:41.200 The Chinese at this point don't. 0.78

00:28:42.900 So Vladimir Putin is really important to Beijing because he's accomplishing things that China could not do on its own.

00:28:50.480 So I think that that relationship is a lot stronger than most people give it credit for.

00:28:55.340 And Putin actually, I think, is stronger in the relationship than people think.

00:28:58.840 Because everyone says, oh, you know, Vladimir Putin's the junior partner.

00:29:02.080 Well, yes, he is.

00:29:03.080 But he's not as junior as we Americans think he is.

00:29:06.140 In terms of North Korea, the North Koreans have to do what China wants. 0.88

00:29:14.340 The bottom line out of all of this is that if China gets involved in some war in East Asia, we should expect both North Korea and Russia to come in on China's side. 0.87

00:29:25.620 And the reason is because of Russia's and North Korea's critical reliance on China, neither Vladimir Putin nor Xi Jinping are in a position to say no when Xi Jinping asks, air quotes, when he asks them to come and fight alongside China.

00:29:41.620 But what at the end of the day, Gordon, what does North Korea really have to offer that China doesn't already have?

00:29:48.680 I mean, it's a very small country relative.

00:29:51.100 It's on a peninsula that there's nothing really there that I think is useful to either of them.

00:29:57.740 Right.

00:29:58.040 Am I wrong?

00:29:59.720 Well, you know, in terms of material stuff.

00:30:02.080 Yeah, you're right.

00:30:02.720 I mean, North Korea has some coal and some other stuff.

00:30:05.380 But what North Korea provides is it ties down America's forces in the region, ties down South Korea and Japan.

00:30:12.980 And in a wartime situation where China is fighting, you know, you name it, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, the North Koreans are a valuable military asset.

00:30:25.800 Because they've got this enormous army and they can do a lot of damage to South Korea. 0.83

00:30:30.760 So that's it's a strategic or a geo-strategic advantage.

00:30:35.220 Interesting.

00:30:36.020 So you mentioned Philippines and all the other places that China wants to dominate the same way Russia wants Ukraine.

00:30:43.140 We now find out that China has got a military base that they've built now in Cambodia, just south of the country in the region of Thailand and Miramar, where they've got two.

00:30:54.200 I believe it's two of their amphibian or Corvette ships parked there.

00:31:00.900 What's the move there?

00:31:02.940 Well, China is trying to build what was once called the String of Pearls, which is, you know, a series of military bases.

00:31:11.500 And what they want to do is, first of all, they want to control the Indian Ocean.

00:31:16.580 So they have a base in Djibouti, which is their first official offshore military site.

00:31:21.540 But they need to have something between Djibouti and China.

00:31:25.160 And so they're doing two things.

00:31:27.000 One of them is the base in Cambodia, the naval base that you just talked about.

00:31:31.020 Another one is Gwadar, which is in Pakistan.

00:31:35.420 And it's just on the very close to Iran.

00:31:38.460 But Gwadar is an enormous undertaking.

00:31:41.640 It is fragile because it is in a part of Pakistan, which is really hostile to the national government in Pakistan.

00:31:48.800 And just a couple of days ago, the Balooks, it's Balookistan is the portion of Pakistan I'm talking about. 1.00

00:31:56.080 The Balooks took responsibility for killing a lot of Pakistanis and Chinese in a convoy.

00:32:02.000 So Gwadar is not as safe and secure as the Chinese wanted to be. 0.85

00:32:06.520 So they need the base in Cambodia.

00:32:08.360 And they're looking for other places as well in order to build that String of Pearls. 0.75

00:32:12.580 Interesting.

00:32:13.760 To confuse the audience further, I want to tie in one more country to this.

00:32:17.560 And it's one that we've all been hearing about lately, and it's Iran, perhaps the largest. 0.50

00:32:22.700 I think it is the largest state sponsor of terror in this country, training almost every terror organization that hates America and the rest of the world.

00:32:30.920 The Houthis, the Hezbollah, I mean, going after the backing people in Gaza, trying to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. 0.93

00:32:38.260 But they've now got themselves in a little bit of a situation because the Jews in Israel are fighting back.

00:32:43.440 And it looks like they're waging a pretty decent war on Hezbollah, who's been backed by Iran, as I just said.

00:32:49.980 What does this mean for Iran?

00:32:51.660 How does Iran now get itself further into this situation or further out of this situation that they've got?

00:32:59.800 And how does China and Russia tie into it?

00:33:03.200 Well, the Iranians think they're nobody's proxies, but the Chinese think that they are China's proxy because Iran could not have afforded to attack Israel last October 7th were it not for Chinese elevated commodity purchases, diplomatic and propaganda support and weapons support.

00:33:23.840 So it's across the board.

00:33:25.620 The only thing the Chinese aren't doing is providing troops to Iran.

00:33:28.540 Just to give you an example of how close this relationship is, last year, more than 90% of Iran's exports of crude oil went to China.

00:33:41.040 And so that shows you that China is financing the war on Israel.

00:33:45.820 Now, the problem for China is, you know, proxy wars can be very clever. 0.92

00:33:50.900 But the problem for China right now is that their proxy is not doing too well in their war against Israel.

00:33:57.840 And by the way, one can say almost the same thing about Russia with regard to China.

00:34:04.180 Russia isn't doing very well either because that also looks like a proxy war.

00:34:08.380 The only place where China's proxy wars seem to be succeeding are North Africa.

00:34:13.320 And that's because we're not contesting what's going on there.

00:34:16.120 But we should.

00:34:17.120 So really what we've got is a China where its proxies aren't doing as well as Beijing first thought they would.

00:34:22.980 The other issue you mentioned we have is oil, which is how oil and terror and Barack Obama sending a few billion dollars over to Iran is the only income for that hellhole of a country. 0.97

00:34:35.720 And I feel terrible for the people that have to live in that country under the leadership of the Ayatollah Khamenei.

00:34:40.660 But oil is where they get their money.

00:34:43.480 And Israel now, in an escalation, may start to soon attack those oil fields and all of their oil that they have, which then poses a threat now for China.

00:34:53.840 Because where is China going to get their oil for?

00:34:56.600 Do you see this becoming an issue for China?

00:35:00.700 Should Iran go further into this world, this war? 1.00

00:35:03.680 And should Israel decide to start hitting them where it really hurts? 0.54

00:35:09.260 Yeah.

00:35:09.540 For the first eight months of this year, China got 54 percent of its oil from the Persian Gulf.

00:35:16.200 And it's not just Iran.

00:35:17.660 It's Saudi Arabia.

00:35:18.580 It's Qatar, UAE, Kuwait.

00:35:21.880 And if Israel goes after Iran's oil depots, which it could very well do, then China is going to be in trouble because it could lose almost all of its source of oil or it could lose more than half of its source of oil.

00:35:37.360 That's going to drive up oil prices, of course, if that happens.

00:35:41.060 This becomes critical because China right now is depending on its factories to pull its economy out of the slumps.

00:35:49.200 And right now, if they don't have oil, they don't have factories.

00:35:54.860 Interesting.

00:35:55.520 Very interesting.

00:35:56.400 I want to turn before we get to your book. 0.98

00:35:58.760 Joe Biden, another useful American idiot, trading the Russian merchant of death for Brittany Griner last year in a prisoner swap to bring back that American hater from Russia who was locked up there for drug possession in the country, 0.99

00:36:14.240 is now selling our back to say he's a politician now and he's back to selling arms to the Houthis. 1.00

00:36:19.760 I mean, how do we find ourselves, Gordon, in the same situation time and time again where we let these scumbags go and then they're back on the field doing the same exact thing, 0.95

00:36:29.180 only to maybe later be caught again and be traded for somebody else? 0.92

00:36:32.620 Yeah, the Biden administration has made it clear that the countries can grab Americans and that we'll deal.

00:36:40.160 And that's exactly what we have, you know, the Biden administration has done.

00:36:45.140 And what's happened is this has escalated because you have, for instance, Hamas grabbing all of those American hostages as they launched the October 7th war.

00:36:58.360 So they're now going into hostage grabbing on a wholesale scale and they've been encouraged by the Biden administration.

00:37:05.160 You know, I understand it's a natural impulse for a Democrat president in or prime minister in a democratic society to want to try to free people who are grabbed.

00:37:15.760 But the problem is once you start that, then you just encourage more hostage taking.

00:37:21.420 And so the Biden administration is responsible for that.

00:37:24.140 And this was part of a general attitude because they actually encouraged Colonial Pipeline in, I think it was 2021, to pay a ransom to Russian hackers.

00:37:33.220 And that just gives incentives for other people to attack our infrastructure.

00:37:37.600 It just this is just fundamentally wrong. 1.00

00:37:41.080 And they go back to the term useful idiots, Gordon. 0.99

00:37:43.580 I want to take one more quick break here. 0.99

00:37:45.420 We're coming right back with Gordon Chang.

00:37:47.060 He's the author of the all new book, Plan Red, China's Project to Destroy America.

00:37:50.900 We're going to take it up on the other side of this quick break.

00:37:53.000 A very important new book.

00:37:54.820 We're coming right back with the author, the man himself, Gordon Chang.

00:37:57.880 Stay with us.

00:37:59.880 Folks, are you tired of supporting big box stores and multi-billion dollar corporations that don't support us?

00:38:05.140 Corporations that donate tens of millions of dollars a year to push woke Marxist dem ideologies?

00:38:09.580 Whether it be Amazon and Jeff Bezos or Target with their transgender clothing for kids or even Bud Light going totally woke, enough is enough. 0.88

00:38:16.560 Why should we as lovers of this country continue to support these corporations?

00:38:20.560 The answer is we shouldn't.

00:38:22.480 I constantly get people who reach out to me and ask, John, what can we do to save this country?

00:38:26.660 Where can we shop and support American made brands and conservative ideologies?

00:38:30.720 Well, we now have a solution to stop shopping at these woke companies and stop funding the deep state and a solution to buy American.

00:38:37.400 This is something we can all do right now to kick the deep state in the teeth and stop funding our enemies and vote with our dollars.

00:38:43.040 We have a parallel economy for around 450 household products.

00:38:47.920 Not only can you cancel woke brands like Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson, you can also cancel the stores that carry them.

00:38:54.040 I need you all to head over to switchwithjohn.com, that's switchwithjohn.com, where you can read all about our movement.

00:39:01.860 We have access to a conservative manufacturer that will replace these brands and the stores you buy them from.

00:39:06.240 It isn't an additional budget item because instead of turning right into Target or left into Walmart, you're going to shop directly online, directly with the manufacturer.

00:39:14.660 Folks, this is a patriot movement that is happening right now before our eyes.

00:39:18.440 Every 47 seconds, a shopper is switching to our online store and we need you to partner with us, join us, and band together.

00:39:25.360 I just canceled my Amazon Prime subscription because I've truly had enough.

00:39:29.020 So what do you say? It's time to put your money where your heart is?

00:39:31.780 Join us today and help save this nation.

00:39:33.380 Go to switchwithjohn.com, that's switchwithjohn.com, to learn how you can join thousands of other patriots and help take this nation back.

00:39:42.880 Switchwithjohn.com. We'll see you there.

00:39:46.940 We're back. We're talking with Gordon Chang, and as I mentioned, he's the author of the all-new book, Plan Red, China's Project to Destroy America.

00:39:54.100 A very important read, and it's available now for purchase on Amazon or wherever you buy your books.

00:39:59.900 A terrific read, another great book from Gordon Chang, and like I said, we encourage you to buy it.

00:40:05.880 Gordon doesn't do these books for fun. He doesn't do them for money.

00:40:08.440 He does it to educate you on what is important in this world and the threats that China poses. 1.00

00:40:16.080 So by you going out and buying this book, it supports Gordon and lets him go out and write more books like this.

00:40:21.260 Because like I said to you, Gordon doesn't make millions of dollars writing these books.

00:40:24.500 He doesn't do it for himself. He does it to inform you on what's going on.

00:40:28.240 So, Gordon, another new book, The Forward, written by my best friend who passed away, Lou Dobbs, one of your biggest fans throughout his entire career.

00:40:37.260 And I think you probably say the same about him.

00:40:39.980 Absolutely.

00:40:40.980 But preparing for war, what is the most important message you hope to get through in your brand-new book here, Gordon?

00:40:49.840 It's that American elites, American foreign policy specialists, and American leaders fundamentally misunderstand China's assault on our American republic.

00:41:01.460 They think that we can cooperate with China, that things will be okay.

00:41:06.720 But they do not understand that the Communist Party believes that it must destroy our country.

00:41:13.660 Once we understand that, we can defend our country.

00:41:16.600 But until we do that, we are vulnerable.

00:41:19.960 Because although we're a far stronger society than China, we're actually far stronger than China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea all combined.

00:41:27.720 But the point is, we're not defending ourselves.

00:41:29.780 So, we can lose our country because we do not understand what is occurring.

00:41:36.160 The problem is, Gordon, is that we've seen it now for the last, we'll even call it modern times, the last 25 or so years under the Belt and Road Initiative.

00:41:45.620 We've allowed China to get to where they are. 1.00

00:41:48.480 We've allowed these people to grow into the devil and continue to push around America. 0.96

00:41:53.600 So, we can speak, and we can speak until our faces turn blue and our heads explode.

00:41:58.240 But at the end of the day, when push comes to shove, and our politicians are in bed with these people, and our corporations, our Fortune 500 companies are in bed with China, and rely on China for everything, down to our pharmaceutical needs, where we have 90% of our pharmaceutical needs, maybe even more, coming from China and India.

00:42:17.320 They're the ones, Gordon, who've got us into this situation in the first place.

00:42:20.940 Why would they want to get us out?

00:42:22.320 Yeah, that's a great question.

00:42:24.740 And, you know, we're a democracy, and so we allow our enemies to buy our political leaders and our elites.

00:42:33.100 And we know how this is going to end.

00:42:35.740 It's going to end in tragedy.

00:42:37.720 I mean, all we have to do is look at the way we reacted to Osama bin Laden. 0.78

00:42:42.280 Right.

00:42:42.500 I mean, in 1993, al-Qaeda reached out and killed six Americans in the bombing of the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

00:42:51.200 We didn't pay any attention.

00:42:52.680 We didn't pay any attention until one day where Osama bin Laden killed 2,977 Americans.

00:43:00.700 And then we said, how did this happen?

00:43:04.220 Well, it happened because we did not listen to what al-Qaeda was saying about us.

00:43:09.380 And the reason I mention all this is because it's exactly the same with China's regime.

00:43:15.100 And clearly, China's regime is so much more powerful than Osama bin Laden ever was. 0.89

00:43:21.960 You mentioned 9-11 and, you know, just under 3,000 people died.

00:43:26.480 It's more than that.

00:43:27.360 Uncle just passed away a few weeks ago from the repercussions of it and the, you know, the smoke and all this stuff these people inhaled.

00:43:34.620 And it just goes to show you again, our government, our government knew that we should not be letting our first responders into these areas.

00:43:41.460 They knew within days that the building, Building 7, was covered with asbestos and that none of these people should have been down there in the first place without even masks.

00:43:49.420 They shouldn't have been there with masks.

00:43:50.680 They shouldn't have been at the landfills.

00:43:52.000 Yet we allowed our Americans to go in there and go do this work and clean up. 0.96

00:43:57.380 And after knowing that we were killing them and hundreds and thousands more have died, hundreds and thousands more have paid the price with medical issues for the rest of their life.

00:44:07.300 And we let it go by the wayside.

00:44:08.640 We waited years later to go kill Osama bin Laden. 0.56

00:44:12.020 We let that go by the wayside.

00:44:13.700 Like I said, we let COVID now go by the wayside.

00:44:16.280 No repercussions for that.

00:44:18.060 I mean, when is enough enough?

00:44:20.680 When are we going to stop being the doormat, Gordon, for everybody to allow terrorists?

00:44:25.440 I mean, another issue we heard last week, Iranians are planning an assassination, another assassination attempt on President Trump.

00:44:33.400 There were reports unconfirmed, but of them maybe sneaking missiles through our southern border. 0.99

00:44:39.160 At what point does America stop becoming a damn doormat for these terrible people who want us dead? 0.99

00:44:46.960 November 5, I hope. 1.00

00:44:49.440 And it's fentanyl.

00:44:52.060 Fentanyl is run by the Communist Party. 0.98

00:44:55.100 It's intent to kill Americans. 0.99

00:44:57.220 70,000 to 75,000 Americans die each year from doses of illegal Chinese fentanyl.

00:45:03.320 And we do not have a political system that recognizes what's going on.

00:45:08.580 Americans are dying. 0.97

00:45:09.800 I just don't know how to answer your question because it is – I fear the answer is great tragedy, that we are going to lose many more Americans before we decide to do something.

00:45:24.980 Yeah.

00:45:25.980 And fentanyl, I mean, you go to any major city across this country.

00:45:29.660 I was in Vegas this last week.

00:45:32.060 I go to Atlantic City a bunch.

00:45:33.820 You go to Philly.

00:45:34.760 You go – anywhere you go, you see these people on the side of the road.

00:45:37.880 And you know they're not on marijuana.

00:45:39.200 You know they're not on cocaine because the effects on that are relatively normal compared to what these people on fentanyl and these other drugs that come from China. 0.97

00:45:47.380 And these people turn into zombies, and it's disgusting. 0.87

00:45:50.800 And China sits there and laughs. 1.00

00:45:52.540 I think there was a call or something or Xi Jinping was making fun of America that Americans have drug problems.

00:45:58.340 But it was all to their creation.

00:46:01.380 I mean, this is what they wanted, and this is what they've got.

00:46:03.700 And our leaders sit here, and they sit on their hands to do nothing about it because I would assume somewhere around 50% to 60% of them are paid off one way or another, whether it's directly from the CCP or through proxies.

00:46:17.440 How do we get this thing under control?

00:46:19.240 I mean, is it going to come down to a ground war?

00:46:22.000 Is it going to come out to some sort of war for us to finally say enough is enough?

00:46:28.240 We're not going to take it anymore?

00:46:29.500 Yeah.

00:46:30.760 The answer is what Lou Dobbs has talked about for decades, and that was severing our trade and investment relations with China.

00:46:39.120 And I know that that sounds politically unacceptable, but it's absolutely necessary.

00:46:44.260 And it's necessary because China uses every point of contact to take down our society. 1.00

00:46:49.720 So until we can manage this, we have to sever those relations.

00:46:54.540 Yes, that is not something the American political system is willing to do.

00:46:58.460 But if we talk about it, maybe we can avoid the tragedy that I so fear.

00:47:03.680 Well, how do you get the Tim Cooks of the world, the Jamie Diamonds of the world to decouple from this place?

00:47:09.680 I mean, they're so in bed with these people.

00:47:12.540 How do you get these private sectors?

00:47:14.060 I mean, it obviously takes a Donald Trump type figure to come in and do it.

00:47:18.480 But how on November 6th, when President Trump is the president elect, what does President Trump do?

00:47:25.820 How does he get these private corporations to get the hell out of there?

00:47:29.800 I mean, I'm glad to see President Trump has now become friends with Elon Musk because Elon does a shit ton of business over there.

00:47:34.860 And hopefully he can be the, you know, the trophy figure to say enough, you know, let me pull out of this place. 0.98

00:47:41.440 They're bad people.

00:47:43.220 What is it going to take President Trump to do on November 6th with regard to private sector?

00:47:50.000 I think what's going to happen will be a number of smaller things that will lead to a dynamic that will get American business out.

00:47:58.040 First of all, I got to remember, this is not just pulling American business out.

00:48:01.700 This is also Xi Jinping pushing American business out.

00:48:05.300 So that's one thing that's going to help.

00:48:07.500 But there are a lot of little things that could make huge differences.

00:48:10.740 So, for instance, the Tariff Act of 1930.

00:48:14.100 That prohibits the importation into the United States of goods made with forced or slave labor.

00:48:19.900 Almost all of China's green products are made with such labor.

00:48:24.520 And many other Chinese products that are put together outside of Xinjiang, they are also made with forced labor.

00:48:33.000 We just start enforcing that.

00:48:34.980 We can have a big effect on the Chinese economy, which is really at a knife's edge right now in any place.

00:48:40.840 So there are these things that we can do which could have a disproportionate effect on China.

00:48:46.220 I agree with you there.

00:48:47.640 But, Gordon, at the end of the day, when the American shopper goes to the store and they see they can buy a shirt for $2 that's made in China or a shirt that's made in America for $5,

00:48:58.920 the American person is going to go and say, well, I can't afford to pay an extra $3.

00:49:03.200 I have a family of six people at home that I have to feed.

00:49:07.380 Where do we move that labor to? 0.97

00:49:09.820 Because in some cases, Gordon, there's American jobs that just can't be brought back home.

00:49:15.080 And it's things like textiles and stuff like that, which will be overseas because we will never be able to make an end's meet on actually making them and selling them there.

00:49:22.780 And that I understand.

00:49:23.780 But I have an answer to that one.

00:49:26.120 Actually, the answer is Central America.

00:49:28.400 We have a free trade agreement with the region.

00:49:31.640 It's called CAFTA-DR.

00:49:33.180 Yes.

00:49:33.400 And we could unilaterally liberalize its provisions, which would encourage low-end factories to move to Central America.

00:49:42.560 This has a number of effects.

00:49:44.340 One of them is it gets those factories on this side of the Pacific, which means getting the goods into the United States is going to be really cheap.

00:49:53.600 Also, it would tend to get people to stay in their home countries instead of migrating up into our southern border.

00:50:00.220 And if you're a climate change fan, I mean, obviously, there's a lot less carbon that is needed to get a product out of Costa Rica or Honduras than it is getting it across the Pacific, which requires a lot of carbon.

00:50:17.580 So any way you look at this, this is great for us.

00:50:20.860 And so these are things that we can do, which would have that disproportionate effect that I talked about.

00:50:26.340 It's a brilliant idea.

00:50:27.260 I mean, I say this all the time, 90 percent of these migrants and illegals that come to this country don't want to come to this country. 1.00

00:50:33.060 They want to stay home because they come by themselves.

00:50:35.420 They have families that they send their money back to.

00:50:37.300 If they can just live a normal life and it's to no doing of their own.

00:50:41.420 And some of these people have very sad lives.

00:50:43.800 They come from poverty.

00:50:45.040 They have absolutely nothing, but they're not allowed to be here.

00:50:47.460 That's the truth of the matter.

00:50:48.500 At the end of the day, we all have hearts.

00:50:50.300 But at the end of the day, they're not supposed to be here because we're a country of law and order and law and borders.

00:50:56.520 What I would love to see President Trump do, and we heard it floated by Mark Esper in a leaked book like he was hurting Trump.

00:51:05.380 Trump apparently reportedly wanted to blow up the drug factories in Mexico.

00:51:09.980 If we can get Mexico under control and a sustainable country that these people can live in, we will cut down our border numbers, I think, probably 99 percent. 1.00

00:51:21.900 If you can make Mexico a habitable place for their citizens to live in.

00:51:26.200 And then you know what?

00:51:27.440 Mexico is going to have an immigration problem from the countries to the south in Guatemala and Honduras and El Salvador and the rest of the Venezuela and Colombia and all these other people want to come up here.

00:51:37.380 But it's not until that time when we do something like this that we're going to see a stop in this.

00:51:43.340 And I'm not convinced that the Democrats, not any one of them in Congress or the Senate or the president, for that matter, wants to fix our immigration issue because then it's an issue they can't run on.

00:51:53.380 If Donald Trump were to fix this issue, I mean, this is an issue George Bush ran on, John McCain, and none of them ever fixed it.

00:52:00.260 Why was it?

00:52:01.120 Why did it take Donald Trump to come in 15, 20 years later and say we're building a wall?

00:52:06.400 I mean, it's the smartest thing in the world.

00:52:09.520 You mentioned fences around the properties to keep people in versus keep people out. 0.98

00:52:13.140 I mean, it's the dumbest yet smartest idea possible. 0.95

00:52:16.160 Gordon, you got the last word here.

00:52:18.000 Once again, I want to recommend the book to you highly.

00:52:20.220 Plan Red, China's Project to Destroy America. 0.99

00:52:22.920 It's available on Amazon or wherever you buy your books.

00:52:26.020 This is how we help people like Gordon Chang keep doing the great work that he's doing.

00:52:31.040 Like I said, Gordon doesn't make millions of dollars to write a book, and he doesn't do it for that reason.

00:52:36.720 He does it to inform us all, and he has been doing it long before I was even born.

00:52:42.000 I hate to say that, Gordon.

00:52:43.080 I don't mean to age you, but long before I was even born.

00:52:47.420 But we need more Gordon Changs of the world.

00:52:49.400 And by supporting Gordon in all the work that he does is how you keep Gordon afloat.

00:52:54.720 Gordon, you got the last word here.

00:52:57.200 I learned from Lou Dobbs.

00:53:00.280 And Lou is a great inspiration to Lydia, my wife, and me.

00:53:05.540 And it is one of the greatest honors of my life to know him.

00:53:09.860 And so what can I say?

00:53:13.580 I appreciate that.

00:53:14.940 And like I said, Lou adored you, and you were one of his favorite people, not just on air, but one of his favorite people.

00:53:22.860 You knew how genuine you were.

00:53:24.620 Lou didn't have many friends, and he prided himself on that.

00:53:27.240 But he did consider you one of his good friends, you and Lydia both.

00:53:30.900 And I was glad Lou was able to write these four words for you and epigraphs for the book before he passed away.

00:53:37.840 Because Lou didn't put his name on anything he didn't believe in.

00:53:41.360 And could have paid the guy millions of dollars.

00:53:43.620 Didn't care.

00:53:44.420 It wasn't about money for him either.

00:53:45.820 And that's what makes you and him such good people.

00:53:48.520 And like you said, he taught you a lot.

00:53:49.780 He taught me everything I know.

00:53:50.760 I wouldn't be where I am without Lou.

00:53:52.820 So, Gordon, you're a great American.

00:54:14.280 Thank you so much, John.
