00:03:36.760And now, with this, we can assume that the independent inspector general who's supposed to be making sure that the DOJ and the FBI stays honest,
00:03:46.980and one of the ways they do that, Lou, is by being independent, not picking a side one way or there,

00:03:54.980But now they're picking a side and they're participating.
00:03:59.040And so, you know, any feeling or any comfort you had that there was an independent broker in there just making sure that people were doing the right thing

00:04:19.000because now the people that are supposed to be keeping an eye to make sure that everything is done correctly are now playing on the other team.

00:04:37.200But every single day, Lou, we wake up as Americans thinking it can't get any worse, and we can't imagine what they'll do yet today.
00:04:44.160And every single day, we seem to be certainly surprised, if not just disappointed even further, at how far this partisan rot goes.

00:05:36.520You know, we try once a year to get together with the extended family in-laws and so on and so forth and just get away from the everyday immersion of Washington, D.C.

00:05:51.700And so we oftentimes, it's expensive, but we get together and we're able to rent a house down at the beach.
00:05:58.320You know, my wife and I, we're proud parents of two little girls and they get together with their nanny and pappy and their uncles and aunts and we have a grand time of it.
00:07:56.420Well, the answer from them is we can't tell you, you know.
00:08:00.860And so because of this January 6th, the so-called January 6th committee, I have retained counsel.
00:08:07.420So I called my attorneys, obviously, and asked them to check with these people to find out what this is all about because I really have no idea why they would want my phone.
00:08:17.540And the only answer they would offer to my attorneys is that Congressman Perry is not a target of an investigation.
00:08:25.060But they took my phone and they want to look into the thing.
00:08:30.800So it would be nice to know exactly where all this is headed right now.
00:08:34.920But, look, in old Dallas times, I think he's famous for saying, you show me the man and I'll show you the crime.
00:08:41.480And one of my concerns is what they might put on my phone, not what's on it, but what they might put on it.
00:09:33.960And, of course, I've got a friend in Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, the former director of national intelligence.
00:09:39.860And I watched what the FBI did to him.
00:09:41.960And, of course, I'm well familiar with the FBI did with the FISA court documents and applications.
00:09:48.260And, of course, I'm well familiar with what the FBI tried to do to President Trump.
00:09:53.180And so there's not much I'm going to say to those folks without my lawyers present.
00:09:57.360But I did in anticipation because you just don't know in this day and age, you know, I said to my attorney some time ago, whatever happens if they come to get my phone?
00:10:08.880And, of course, they said, look, you just you have to comply with the law.
00:10:13.040No citizen has to comply with unlawful requirements, unlawful requests.
00:10:17.980And they said, well, you know, what you don't want is to to be arrested for not complying with the FBI if it ever comes to that.
00:10:26.580So and look, we we have always I grew up revering the FBI and the things they did and the intelligence agencies and law enforcement and we're supportive of them.
00:10:35.940And I don't hold it against these agents.
00:10:38.360I like I said, I think the rot is at the top.
00:10:41.040Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray, those people need to go.
00:10:43.980And, of course, I've called for Merrick Garland's impeachment, which is what this might be all about.
00:10:48.740This is all about November 8th, 2022 and then beyond.
00:11:26.060If that is somehow illegal now, boy, I sure wished I would have known a year and a half or so ago.
00:11:33.680But, Lou, as you know, on that phone, on that phone is messages between me and my family, you know, me and my colleagues, which we'll get to attorney-client privilege because I have to have counsel because of the so-called January 6th committee.
00:11:49.260But also this thing that members of Congress deal with, which is called speech and debate.
00:11:54.840And it was put in the Constitution by our founders, Lou, to make sure that we didn't have a king that punished the legislative members for their votes or the things that they said.
00:12:05.180But right now, this Department of Justice, this Biden's executive branch and FBI wishes to pierce that veil and punish legislators, apparently, who disagree with whatever narrative they have.
00:12:18.240They're on some mission to destroy the country.
00:12:27.500I don't know what we would call the mission, a jihad, a crusade, an attempted coup.
00:12:37.420You said it exactly right, I think, Congressman.
00:12:40.000Day by day, we see one outrage after another.
00:12:43.080And Bill Barr, the former attorney general, the other day, again, the man has disappointed me to the point that I hold the man in contempt.
00:12:54.500And he said the other day, he is sick of the right's outrage, pandering to outrage.
00:13:02.580And this is the man who lied through and through.
00:13:08.160He is the man who said, without question, Joe Biden lied in the second debate and about disinformation, Hunter Biden's, you know, not to relitigate all of that.
00:13:25.840But if he had just stepped forward and acknowledged the American people and, you know, he said, I don't want to intervene in the election.
00:13:34.680Meanwhile, his agents are intervening in the elections, telling big tech, social media, big national media that it's Russian disinformation.

00:13:48.420One story put out and the curtain came down and the American people were denied their right to know and changed history.
00:13:57.240I can't think of a, by the way, you were talking about Inspector General, the Inspector General's office, Horowitz.

00:14:19.520And President, President Trump, as he almost always does, had it exactly right in that moment.

00:14:37.520Well, I'll tell you, with the revelations that Congressman Jim Jordan, the ranking member on judiciary from Ohio's 4th District, like he said, I mean, you know, we were astounded that the Department of Justice, that the FBI would do what they did.
00:14:54.820And think about this, Lou, in a five-day span and in an unprecedented fashion, an armed and, you know, an armed siege of the former president and potentially the future president's home, his personal home, when the president was being fully cooperative with the archives.
00:15:15.180It's not like the president stole a nuclear weapon and took it home in his, you know, in his SUV with him or something like that.
00:15:23.060This is a dispute over documents, and the president is the classifier of every single document, whether he wants to follow whatever foolish protocol they put together or not.
00:15:35.720He's the classifier and the unclassifier.
00:15:38.360But over a dispute, they raid the man's home.
00:15:41.800A day later at 9 o'clock in the morning, they take my phone, and I guess, you know, I've seen as two approving of President Trump's policies across the country for his presidency.
00:15:55.160And then within another 48 hours, you know, pass a bill that would afford the payment of and the hiring of 67,000 new IRS agents to come, you know, audit every small business and every person that's just trying to make it through their life and might have paid somebody $25 to mow the lawn.
00:16:16.680That's where we're headed right now, and we're headed there darn fast.
00:16:21.000Indeed, we are, and day by day, as you put it, America is unraveling, and it is the puppet president, the Marxist Dems, who are driving the Democrat Party, and the cabal, which I believe includes certainly Barack Obama, and he considers this his third term,
00:16:44.480who are reaching across our government, who are destroying it day by day, and you can turn in any direction, taking your phone.

00:19:38.540This is what I would like to ask you to address is why is no one connecting the statements of Bill Barr, his actions, and his role in all of this as if he is some sort of neutral to even victim in all of this.
00:19:56.820When, in fact, he has covered for every agency, every Department of Justice, he has lied through his teeth, and people continue to listen to him as if he's not part of the cover-up.
00:20:10.780Well, I've got to tell you, Lou, that I was obviously, as you were sorely disappointed in Attorney General Barr's performance and his perspective, seeking, it seems, to please the press and the woke leftists that are now in charge more than following the Constitution and doing his duty and his due diligence in that regard.
00:20:38.540I don't know. I don't think we're listening to him as an impartial broker at this point.
00:20:43.520I think it's very clear that early on he said them some things that were encouraging.
00:20:48.180But as you know, Lou, talk is cheap, and it's the actions that count.
00:20:52.540And, of course, when it came time to take action to clean this rot out and to end it, there was no action taken.
00:21:02.180As a matter of fact, he put his tail between his legs and ran away whimpering at the fear of, you know, potential impeachment for having the temerity to look into things that were pretty obvious to many, many Americans.
00:21:18.440And you've outlined some of them already, but the evidence has been standing right in front of us where we can see it, and yet nothing gets done.
00:21:27.000And the American people are rightly sick of this dual-track system of justice where the elites and those connected have one system where there's no accountability.

00:21:46.940And meanwhile, every other person is being persecuted, and if they haven't done something, well, it looks like we're going to try and either pin something on you or we're just going to dig long enough until we find something.

00:22:03.140People are rightly – American citizens are tired of it, and this looks like something we'd see on TV from some country far, far away that – you know, with a dictator in it.
