The Great America Show - RINO ACCUSED OF NEPOTISM; PELOSI INSIDER TRADING ONCE AGAIN

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody, and welcome to The Great America Show.

00:00:05.260 It's great to have you with us.

00:00:07.000 While most Americans bleed their savings accounts dry under this abiding economy, the rich are

00:00:11.740 getting richer, the powerful elites are getting more powerful, and the politicians are trading

00:00:16.020 stock like it's going out of style.

00:00:18.420 Nancy Pelosi, let's take her for example. 0.99

00:00:20.700 She's perhaps one of the most prolific stock traders in Congress.

00:00:24.100 According to the Daily Mail, Pelosi has a staggering estimated net worth of about $250

00:00:28.860 million.

00:00:30.420 According to Quiver Quant data, she has traded nearly $4 million worth of stocks this year

00:00:34.680 alone, and since 2020, she's traded just around $100 million.

00:00:39.120 Much of that has been in tech companies that reside inside of her home district of San Francisco.

00:00:44.160 Over on the Republican side, things aren't much better.

00:00:47.460 This week, it's being reported that Republican Congressman Anthony D'Esposito paid a mistress

00:00:52.280 and a fiancé's daughter with taxpayer funds.

00:00:55.560 The report states that after taking the oath of office, the first-term congressman hired

00:00:59.980 his lifelong fiancé's daughter to work as a special assistant in his district office,

00:01:04.520 eventually bumping her salary to about $3,800 a month, this according to payroll records.

00:01:10.840 In April of that year, D'Esposito added someone even closer to his payroll, a woman with whom

00:01:17.120 he was having an affair with, according to four people familiar with the relationship.

00:01:20.760 The woman, Devin Foss, she collected about $2,000 a month for a part-time job in that same district 1.00

00:01:27.200 office.

00:01:28.500 Each working agreement abruptly ended in July of 2023.

00:01:32.180 This, of course, coincided with D'Esposito's fiancé, Cynthia Lark, learning about his relationship

00:01:37.920 with Foss, his mistress.

00:01:40.200 Despite dating Foss, who was 38 years old, D'Esposito lived with his fiancé Lark, with

00:01:45.260 whom he had been engaged to since around 2010, and whose daughter, Tessa Lark, had also been

00:01:50.240 hired onto the congressional staff.

00:01:52.260 That seems like a lot of nepotism to me.

00:01:55.100 Our guest today is someone you know very well on the show.

00:01:57.260 He's a former congressman from Long Island, and he knows a lot about what goes on on Capitol

00:02:01.340 Hill, both on the scene and behind the scenes.

00:02:04.640 George Santos is our guest today.

00:02:06.300 I asked him to join us to discuss all that's going on in Capitol Hill, including the latest

00:02:10.420 allegations against RINO Congressman Anthony D'Esposito.

00:02:13.580 For all of you, you guys may remember, D'Esposito was vehemently against having George Santos

00:02:18.940 in Congress, saying he posed a big threat and it left a stain on democracy.

00:02:23.160 Well, now D'Esposito, I think, has an issue of his own.

00:02:27.260 George, thanks so much for joining us today on The Great America Show.

00:02:30.680 The news of the day, Congressman Anthony D'Esposito caught in, we'll call it a pickle, I guess

00:02:37.720 you could say, hiring his mistress and his fiancé's daughter on his payroll from the first day

00:02:44.180 as a congressman.

00:02:45.680 I want to play for the audience before I get your reaction.

00:02:48.960 Anthony D'Esposito talking about you when he wanted you thrown out of Congress.

00:02:53.680 Take a listen.

00:02:54.300 The American people expect us to do the right thing.

00:03:00.560 The American people are watching for us to do the right thing.

00:03:04.820 And if we have an opportunity in this great institution to start a new precedent, one,

00:03:12.920 that means we hold members of the House of Representatives to a higher standard.

00:03:18.260 Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'm pretty confident that the American people would applaud that.

00:03:23.840 I'm pretty confident that the American people expect that.

00:03:28.040 And I hope that tomorrow, in this great chamber, we set that precedent, Mr. Speaker.

00:03:35.000 We set a precedent that we, as members of America's oldest institution,

00:03:40.600 are held to a higher standard.

00:03:42.960 So, he wanted you gone.

00:03:50.580 I don't know.

00:03:51.280 Tell me first, what did you do to break Anthony D'Esposito's heart?

00:03:56.760 Well, you know, here's the problem, John.

00:03:59.720 The whole thing stems from this weird little boys club in the local GOP in New York.

00:04:07.100 I was never part of it.

00:04:08.020 I was very much an outsider, right?

00:04:10.200 So, at the first opportunity, and I'm going to go back to Election Day 2022.

00:04:14.380 The next day, I went to do this press conference with them. 0.95

00:04:17.340 The chairman looked me in the eye and said, holy crap, kid, you did it. 0.77

00:04:21.520 You know, a lot of people have called me, like, how did he do it? 0.99

00:04:24.600 How was this possible?

00:04:25.940 Who is he?

00:04:27.080 The reality is, they never could understand how the hell I pulled it off.

00:04:31.680 I worked.

00:04:32.740 Anthony was handed the seat through, you know, whichever way you want to look at this.

00:04:37.080 But it's so rich looking at him say this now, knowing that at that very exact moment, he was defrauding the American people, violating nepotism laws, hiring and paying for his guma. 0.83

00:04:50.020 The inflation situation has gotten so bad.

00:04:54.040 Hold on one second.

00:04:55.240 For our non-Italian listeners, can you tell them what a guma is? 0.97

00:04:58.540 A guma is, you know, the side chick, you know. 0.98

00:05:01.380 So let's just put it this way.

00:05:03.620 Inflation has become so bad in the economy and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's America is in such deep crisis that even your mistresses now have to do two jobs.

00:05:12.520 So this is the thing that's so alarming to me.

00:05:17.040 He was one of the biggest mudslingers at you. 1.00

00:05:19.700 I mean, it was like you did something. 0.89

00:05:21.960 It was like you kicked his dog, George.

00:05:23.580 And I mean, granted, you went there and you wanted to get stuff done.

00:05:26.740 And, you know, I've worked for a congressman before.

00:05:29.460 If you go there to get things done, you have a target on your back right away because you disrupted the status quo.

00:05:35.040 But from day one, it's a fact that Anthony D'Esposito was paying his as a special assistant, his fiancee's daughter, thirty eight hundred dollars a month.

00:05:44.920 I worked in Capitol Hill when I worked in Capitol Hill.

00:05:47.520 There wasn't full time employees barely making that.

00:05:50.640 Now, you had to rent a place in Washington, D.C., making thirty eight hundred dollars a month, maybe even less than some offices, because not every office pays the same.

00:05:58.220 And you got to pay.

00:05:58.580 Now, this is his daughter, his fiancee's daughter, who's living probably at home with her mother, making thirty eight hundred dollars a month.

00:06:05.040 Now, the Goumad was making two thousand dollars a month. 1.00

00:06:09.280 I think it's the New York Post reported each working agreement ended abruptly in July of twenty three, coinciding with D'Esposito's fiancee, Cynthia Lark, learning about his relationship with the mistress.

00:06:20.900 I mean, how does this even come about?

00:06:22.900 Why would D'Esposito put himself in that place in the first place where he knew he's got his Goumad on the side? 1.00

00:06:30.560 And he knows he's violating nepotism laws by hiring these two people to come after you.

00:06:35.500 That's the thing that's like it just it doesn't resonate in my mind, George. 0.96

00:06:40.280 Hypocrisy. 0.99

00:06:40.920 This is these these guys are the poster child for hypocrisy. 0.98

00:06:44.360 The Nassau County, the Suffolk County Republican Party is on Long Island, New York, are arguably the most corrupt GOP establishments and machines in America. 0.88

00:06:54.020 There is a reason we have had several federal investigations into former elected officials all across Long Island.

00:07:01.600 It's because they are absolutely reprehensible.

00:07:04.680 I, too, can say I felt astray.

00:07:08.320 I thought I fell in astray and got a little too involved and allowed my better judgment to be skewed by the sheer insanity of the dirt and grime.

00:07:18.760 You want to say Washington, D.C. is a swamp.

00:07:21.280 The real deep swamp runs through Long Island's GOP circles.

00:07:26.140 And, you know, George, that's the case everywhere I'm at in Staten Island, New York.

00:07:29.360 It's the I guess the Richmond County GOP.

00:07:31.680 It's the same way.

00:07:32.980 If you're from the outside, they want nothing to do with you.

00:07:36.500 You got to budge your way in.

00:07:38.000 And if you get in, you're still never accepted.

00:07:39.800 It's called the boys club out here in Staten Island.

00:07:42.140 You have your certain people.

00:07:43.700 My congresswoman is Nicole Malliotaka. 0.96

00:07:45.600 She's a total rhino. 1.00

00:07:47.120 But she was next up in line. 0.99

00:07:49.540 And it's just the way things go.

00:07:52.220 So if you want to get in, I mean, you really you got to have a lot of money or you got to have someone willing to back your campaign with a lot of money.

00:07:59.520 You did it the hard way, man.

00:08:00.820 You went out there. 1.00

00:08:01.540 You busted your butt. 0.99

00:08:02.640 You knocked on doors, which a lot of people don't do anymore. 0.99

00:08:05.380 D'Esposito, I can guarantee you, wasn't doing half the work you were doing.

00:08:08.240 People don't understand what it's like working for a member of Congress or someone working running for Congress.

00:08:13.720 You hit thousands and thousands and thousands of peoples of doors.

00:08:17.020 You've got to go out there and you've got to ask people to chip in anywhere from twenty dollars to twenty seven hundred dollars to your campaign.

00:08:24.020 It's not an easy job.

00:08:25.260 But when when it's given to you right in your lap, I think it's you know, it's a lot easier and you don't respect it as much.

00:08:31.420 D'Esposito, another thing I took issue with him, due process.

00:08:35.300 He said you don't deserve due process because the facts are the facts.

00:08:38.800 Take a listen.

00:08:39.200 I first want to point out that constitutional due process doesn't apply here.

00:08:44.220 We have the facts.

00:08:46.320 They've been outlined over the last 10 months.

00:08:49.980 And the facts are that Mr. Santos actually admitted to those lies and deceptions.

00:08:56.400 He references the concern of this body and the fact that we, quote, may be losing trust.

00:09:06.960 I want to let everyone in on a stark reminder.

00:09:11.180 Coming from New York, New Yorkers don't agree on much of anything.

00:09:15.600 But seventy eight percent of the individuals who live in the third congressional district do not want George Santos as their representative.

00:09:27.440 So it seems to me that trust has already been lost.

00:09:33.640 They had to do a poll, George, to figure out that they didn't want it anymore.

00:09:38.280 This guy's got what I'll call John George Santos arrangement syndrome.

00:09:43.540 Let me tell you something.

00:09:44.720 Well, that's actually funny.

00:09:46.100 But the thing is, here's the most disingenuous part about that statement.

00:09:50.100 He was in October making the argument, pardon me, in November, making the argument for a poll that was done in the second week of January by Newsday of all institutions, which we know have a very skewed liberal leaning.

00:10:08.060 Our internal polling did not show a 78 percent rejection.

00:10:12.320 Our internal polling didn't show a 50 percent rate rejection.

00:10:16.220 And again, like what I try to tell people is very simple.

00:10:20.740 They took whatever they could and they put it together and stuck.

00:10:24.900 Let me tell you a really quick story.

00:10:27.360 Thirty seconds about insane.

00:10:29.340 They are.

00:10:29.940 OK, John, in the ethics complaint, it said that I had sexually assaulted a potential staffer.

00:10:37.160 In the investigation, I was exonerated of that because there was no proof, nor it was unsubstantiated slander.

00:10:46.040 Words in the investigation, in the expulsion resolution that Michael Guest, the chairman of the ethics committee, he said that I had engaged in sexual harassment.

00:10:58.460 It is so backwards, it is so upside down and back ass words that these people can't even tell Adam from Bob and Bill from John because they don't know what they're doing. 0.93

00:11:10.480 They're sloppy. 0.96

00:11:11.760 The American people is not their priority. 0.98

00:11:14.360 The ethics committee has become a absolute smear committee and weaponized by whoever wants to weaponize it against whoever they deem politically expedient.

00:11:24.280 In my case, it was me.

00:11:25.720 Yep. And, you know, they have their certain people they want to go after.

00:11:29.020 They had actually had a bone to pick with you because you beat out somebody who was a career politician. 1.00

00:11:33.320 You went out there and you busted your ass, like I said. 0.99

00:11:35.880 So they had a bone to pick with you because you weren't one of them. 0.99

00:11:38.660 You didn't go along to get along.

00:11:39.840 But they were so fast to get you out of there, George, with no due process.

00:11:43.700 This was before you pled guilty to anything.

00:11:46.020 You were just indicted.

00:11:48.040 Everyone deserves the presumption of innocence until guilty.

00:11:51.480 You weren't given any of that.

00:11:52.760 You were guilty before pleading guilty.

00:11:54.620 They put the pressure on you.

00:11:56.900 They step on the back of your neck and say, you're going to do this or do that. 0.99

00:12:00.300 Mike Johnson doesn't have a damn backbone in his body. 0.99

00:12:03.400 That guy is as feckless as they come. 0.99

00:12:05.760 I want to take a quick break here. 0.99

00:12:06.900 I'm going to take up Johnson on the other side of this break because since day one he's gotten there, the man has just been a total liar.

00:12:12.740 I thought Kevin McCarthy was bad. 0.97

00:12:14.760 This guy's 10 times worse.

00:12:15.800 We're talking with George Santos.

00:12:17.240 We're coming right back.

00:12:18.040 Folks, are you tired of supporting big box stores and multi-billion dollar corporations that don't support us?

00:12:25.040 Corporations that donate tens of millions of dollars a year to push woke Marxist dem ideologies?

00:12:29.500 Whether it be Amazon and Jeff Bezos or Target with their transgender clothing for kids or even Bud Light going totally woke, enough is enough. 0.88

00:12:36.460 Why should we as lovers of this country continue to support these corporations?

00:12:40.460 The answer is we shouldn't.

00:12:42.380 I constantly get people who reach out to me and ask, John, what can we do to save this country?

00:12:46.560 Where can we shop and support American-made brands and conservative ideologies?

00:12:50.620 Well, we now have a solution to stop shopping at these woke companies and stop funding the deep state and a solution to buy American.

00:12:57.300 This is something we can all do right now to kick the deep state in the teeth and stop funding our enemies and vote with our dollars.

00:13:02.940 We have a parallel economy for around 450 household products.

00:13:07.820 Not only can you cancel woke brands like Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson, you can also cancel the stores that carry them.

00:13:13.940 I need you all to head over to switchwithjohn.com, that's switchwithjohn.com, where you can read all about our movement.

00:13:21.760 We have access to a conservative manufacturer that will replace these brands and the stores you buy them from.

00:13:26.140 It isn't an additional budget item because instead of turning right into Target or left into Walmart, you're going to shop directly online, directly with the manufacturer.

00:13:34.560 Folks, this is a patriot movement that is happening right now before our eyes.

00:13:38.340 Every 47 seconds, a shopper is switching to our online store, and we need you to partner with us, join us, and band together.

00:13:45.260 I just canceled my Amazon Prime subscription because I've truly had enough.

00:13:48.920 So what do you say? It's time to put your money where your heart is?

00:13:51.680 Join us today and help save this nation.

00:13:53.300 Go to switchwithjohn.com, that's switchwithjohn.com, to learn how you can join thousands of other patriots and help take this nation back.

00:14:02.760 Switchwithjohn.com. We'll see you there.

00:14:06.860 We're back. We're talking with George Santos.

00:14:08.980 George, real quick, I just want to ask you where you're at right now in your case as you fight against the DOJ and the charges against you.

00:14:17.480 If you want to just give the audience an update.

00:14:19.260 Well, John, look, after a very long, long year and a half, I think it's fair to say that we've come to a conclusion almost.

00:14:27.940 You know, the fight's over. I've taken responsibility for the things I've done.

00:14:35.180 I deeply regret them.

00:14:36.960 There's not a day that goes by that I don't live in remorse and regret for what happened in the past and what I've allowed myself to morally escape my own values in the name of ambition.

00:14:49.880 And I think it's very important to make sure that the American people know you can fight, but you have to realize when it's your time to just throw the towel in.

00:14:59.120 And now I'm just moving forward with the process. And in February, I have a court date and, you know, it's in God's hands at this point.

00:15:06.740 Yeah. You know, I just and a federal judge that's overlooking the case.

00:15:10.580 Right. Well, we've seen what these people do with January 6th or so.

00:15:14.680 I don't you don't have one of those guys, you know, you know, at the end of the day, I've been given a I've been given a very fair process.

00:15:21.580 I can sit here and be an absolute a-hole and say I haven't, but I have been given a very fair process.

00:15:29.420 Judge, DOJ, FBI. It is what it is.

00:15:32.700 Yeah. You know, George, we're humans. I'd say 100 percent of us are imperfect.

00:15:36.640 We've all made mistakes in our lives. The end of the day, you know, you own up and you own it and and you face the consequences.

00:15:42.920 But, you know, like I said in the last segment, for someone like Anthony D'Esposito to be sitting there judging you while he was doing just as bad, if not worse, at the same damn time while he's judging you.

00:15:55.600 You know, the other day, I think only God can judge us. That means something.

00:16:00.660 But for that idiot to be sitting there, that rhino idiot to be sitting there and, you know, I said something before we started here. 1.00

00:16:06.760 You could usually tell when somebody did something wrong, Republican, because they usually start to get very close to Donald Trump. 1.00

00:16:13.560 You know, they he's a big rhino, big rhino, doesn't like Trump, can't stand Trump.

00:16:18.040 But in the last few weeks, George, when you say, you know, D'Esposito has been this MAGA boy.

00:16:24.460 Well, when you get a call from somebody from The New York Times and they land you and I know what those calls are like and I know what those emails look like.

00:16:31.920 So when you're getting a call in an email with bullet point questions and the email scrolls on and on and on, all of a sudden you have a come to Jesus moment and you become MAGA.

00:16:44.020 It's amazing. Here's the deal. I've been consistent. I've supported Donald Trump since the moment he came down those escalators.

00:16:50.420 I have my MAGA accolades enough to prove and back me as a true America first individual.

00:16:56.060 My voting record in the House of Representatives, 96.3 percent, pardon me, 96.33 percent.

00:17:04.900 If you compare that to my former colleagues, Anthony D'Esposito, Nick Lallota, Andrew Garbarino, Mike Lawler, Mark Molinaro, Nicole Maliatakis.

00:17:14.100 I mean, it's you would think we live in two different planets on how we vote.

00:17:18.640 George, you just gave me Ajita.

00:17:22.900 Well, I give myself Ajita when I say these things.

00:17:26.660 Every single one of every single one of those people you listed, George, gets progressively worse as you go on in the list.

00:17:33.000 They're terrible. The New York delegation.

00:17:35.460 I don't I understand New York is like, you know, you got to somewhere be somewhere in the middle because, you know, no, you know,

00:17:43.960 but there's some of these people to get elected.

00:17:45.340 Yeah. Like Trump has said with abortion, you know, we're in an election season, a very critical election.

00:17:50.100 Maybe there's some things you lay back on and you take an easier approach.

00:17:53.040 You just don't talk about these guys, George.

00:17:55.420 They don't do that. They're to the core actual Democrats.

00:17:59.020 So so essentially elections are a pass for them to speak from both sides of their mouth.

00:18:03.980 I got it. So let me give you this, John.

00:18:07.260 I got elected in an in a D plus five.

00:18:10.520 I know democracy that Joe Biden won by nine points.

00:18:13.420 I swung it and won it by eight and a half points.

00:18:16.080 And guess what? I called abortion for it for what it was barbaric. 1.00

00:18:19.540 I'm anti-abortion. I don't believe in a national band.

00:18:22.280 I believe there should be abortion available, but they should be rare, safe at all, rare and safe at all times. 1.00

00:18:29.680 Legal, rare and safe.

00:18:31.360 But the problem is, is that a lot of my colleagues want to say they're pro-life and then they go on to vote for pro-choice

00:18:36.700 and they get demolished by lists, by organizations like Susan's List and the pro-life organizations out there.

00:18:44.300 So it's no, you can do it.

00:18:46.300 You can do it if you're consistent.

00:18:47.380 People, people respect consistency in America.

00:18:50.560 Yeah. And the New York delegation has been nothing bad.

00:18:53.980 The Trump tax cuts, they went against Trump tax cuts because of the salt deduction.

00:18:57.740 Well, guess what? If you live in New York City, you can blame your Marxist, Democrat lawmakers and your people up in the New York Senate

00:19:04.320 and the people in the city council and your mayors and your governors for your tax problems.

00:19:09.860 It's not the federal government for them voting against the Trump tax cuts because of the salt deduction. 0.97

00:19:15.080 Well, screw you. There's 49 other states in this country that deal with it.

00:19:21.280 New York, you know, too bad. You suck it up.

00:19:23.940 But these guys are still up.

00:19:25.580 You know, John, I did introduce the 118th Congress's first salt tax repeal act.

00:19:33.180 Actually, I'm just going to go on and say I have an opinion on the salt deduction cuts from the Trump tax cuts,

00:19:42.640 and I think it was called reprisal to all of his critics.

00:19:46.000 And I'm here for it.

00:19:47.080 But in reality, it does hurt a lot of New Yorkers disproportionately.

00:19:50.280 And we do need to fix it.

00:19:52.800 And I think Trump himself has admitted that and said it at the rally in the Nassau County Coliseum that he will be addressing and raising the threshold and the caps.

00:20:04.680 I agree with you on 100 percent, George.

00:20:06.680 But when you have the largest tax cuts put in front of you in American history, right, and you're sitting there sitting back on it.

00:20:12.780 Something's all through the cracks.

00:20:14.420 Right.

00:20:14.900 It's exactly what it is.

00:20:16.520 You mentioned MAGA.

00:20:17.500 Someone who's obviously not MAGA, Mike Johnson.

00:20:20.540 I mean, the guy has been, George, a rhino from the beginning.

00:20:24.480 I was with Lou, some of the first people to call for Kevin McCarthy to resign.

00:20:29.900 We put the hammer down, and we had members of Congress calling us off the record, cheering us on, thanking us for what we were doing.

00:20:38.180 Because we thought, George, we were going to get a better leader than what we have now in Mike Johnson. 0.98

00:20:43.340 I mean, did you ever think in your worst dream that Mike Johnson would be this big of a damn rhino? 0.98

00:20:51.080 So let me fool you in a little story. 0.98

00:20:53.660 I was against Kevin McCarthy getting ousted and vacated because I knew whatever would come after would be far worse.

00:21:00.560 Right.

00:21:00.760 And there were a lot of people.

00:21:02.720 Kevin, look, I'll put it this way.

00:21:04.720 People thinking that Jim Jordan would be the savior.

00:21:07.020 I like Jim.

00:21:08.400 Jim wouldn't be very much different than what you're seeing now.

00:21:10.420 The only difference is Kevin McCarthy had the institutional fortitude to actually negotiate something.

00:21:15.000 Even though sometimes he did surrender, we did win something within that surrender.

00:21:18.620 Mike Johnson just surrenders, and we win nothing.

00:21:22.020 Democrats win everything.

00:21:23.280 So let me put it this way to you.

00:21:24.780 When we were looking for another speaker, and Scalise had failed, and Emmer had failed, and Jim, I'm sorry, Jim Jordan failed, and then Emmer failed.

00:21:33.660 I was every single time one of them failed, I would walk up to Mike Johnson and say, Mike, you need to run.

00:21:39.080 He's like, I could never do it.

00:21:40.440 Mike, you need to run.

00:21:41.340 He's like, I look at Jim.

00:21:42.760 I look at Jim Jordan and Steve Calias as my biggest mentors and friends, and they're like big brothers to me.

00:21:46.780 You're in a blame for this whole mess, George?

00:21:49.460 I will say I take full responsibility for the fact that I egged him on long enough that the day he decided to announce, I got a text from him at 6 o'clock in the morning saying, George, I've prayed, and I wanted to thank you for encouraging me to run.

00:22:01.760 I'm doing it.

00:22:02.720 And when he did that, I knew he was going to get a consensus because Mike was somebody we all liked.

00:22:06.820 I sought out Mike for counsel many times in the House for in-depth, knowledgeable counsel, and he was a good man.

00:22:15.680 This is not the Mike Johnson I knew.

00:22:17.580 This is not the Mike Johnson I supported for speaker, and I was so proud to introduce to thousands of people on X, on Spaces, currently night after night talking and talking him up and introducing him to the American people.

00:22:29.980 This Mike Johnson is an absolute surrender and a letdown for me and for many Americans.

00:22:34.520 I want to take one more quick break here, George, and I want to continue this conversation about Mike Johnson because it doesn't make sense what he's doing.

00:22:41.740 It really – there's no rhyme or reason to it on why he's doing it.

00:22:46.520 This latest government shutdown coming up in just, I think, six days now, and he looks like he's ready to cave to the Democrats once again.

00:22:54.100 I want to take a quick break.

00:22:55.060 We're coming back with George Santos.

00:22:56.460 Stay with us.

00:22:58.880 Folks, as a lot of you may know, Mike Lindell and MyPillow no longer have the support of their box stores or shopping channels.

00:23:04.140 They've been part of this cancel culture, so they want to pass savings directly on to you.

00:23:09.400 So they're bringing back the $25 extravaganza.

00:23:12.340 When Mike started MyPillow, it was just a one-problem-one-solution company.

00:23:16.300 Well, since then, with the help of his dedicated employees, they now have hundreds of products some of you may not even know about.

00:23:22.920 To get the word out, they're having a $25 extravaganza.

00:23:25.140 Two-pack multi-use MyPillows, just $25.

00:23:29.260 MyPillow sandals, $25.

00:23:31.740 Their six-pack towel sets, $25.

00:23:34.760 Four-pack dish towels, you guessed it, $25.

00:23:38.320 This amazing offer won't last long, so order now.

00:23:41.300 Just go to MyPillow.com or call 800-969-3077.

00:23:47.320 That's MyPillow.com.

00:23:48.840 Use promo code John, J-O-H-N, or call 800-969-3077.

00:23:56.100 And be sure to use promo code John, that's J-O-H-N, for all those amazing savings on all MyPillow products.

00:24:03.060 We're back.

00:24:06.220 We're talking with George Santos.

00:24:07.480 George, the budget, government shutdown looming in six days.

00:24:11.520 Mike Johnson scrapping the SAVE Act, which President Trump vehemently has asked,

00:24:16.080 stay in any sort of continuing resolution that gets passed to ensure that we have the safest possible election we can have

00:24:24.980 with everything that's, you know, put into the mixture of things.

00:24:30.580 Johnson now looking to push through what he calls a clean CR.

00:24:34.640 There's no such thing as a clean CR.

00:24:36.180 He says we're not going to push through a Christmas omnibus, which is BS because all of Nancy Pelosi's stuff is still going to be in this bill.

00:24:44.620 The only thing these people care about, George, is getting through a defense bill so that the Warhawks and the warmongers get their money 0.85

00:24:51.280 and the military-industrial complex.

00:24:53.100 And if you don't believe me, go look at Halliburton stock, George, over the last six months.

00:24:57.160 Go look at Lockheed Martin stock over the last six months.

00:24:59.660 It's straight up.

00:25:01.140 It's straight up because they knew a defense bill was coming.

00:25:03.820 They knew that we're going to go ahead and spend more money on wars in Ukraine and over in Israel

00:25:09.180 and everywhere else in the world that we need to spend money.

00:25:11.320 Your thoughts?

00:25:13.080 Look, I think you outlined it perfectly, but here's the reality.

00:25:16.940 It's a slush fund.

00:25:18.100 All the lobbyists that are lining the pockets of Republicans and Democrats alike are always coming in with their cattle call.

00:25:24.580 It's like church when the basket comes around.

00:25:28.360 Well, that is what a CR is.

00:25:29.780 America, there is a massive divorce.

00:25:33.000 And I write weekly opinions for the South Shore Press here on Long Island.

00:25:37.600 And you can see my opinions.

00:25:39.180 And I wrote a very extensive explanatory opinion on the CR and what CRs are and how they are.

00:25:45.040 They are a absolute divorce from the oath to office that every single one of those representatives takes every time they're reelected by upholding the Constitution and their obligation to passing 12 spending bills.

00:25:58.520 They have not done that in over a decade, and it is an absolute departure from what our frameworks and our founding fathers had envisioned for this great constitutional republic to be about.

00:26:11.020 So in reality, CRs, ladies and gentlemen, are nothing more than you being sold out to the lobbyists in Washington, D.C. and the establishment, all in exchange for laundered taxpayer dollars to go to these different companies and then trickle right back as campaign contributions for Democrats and Republicans alike.

00:26:29.080 That's why I'm proud to say I took zero dollars from lobbyists.

00:26:34.120 Yeah.

00:26:34.520 And you know what the problem is?

00:26:35.940 And one of my favorite congressmen is Tim Burchett. 1.00

00:26:37.700 Every time I get on, I mean, Tim gets on here, he goes, he gets on, he'll say, oh, we're just a bunch of shit bums. 1.00

00:26:45.260 I don't know what you want us to do. 0.99

00:26:46.780 You got to start holding us accountable.

00:26:48.660 And he's I mean, he's right, because nobody holds these these people accountable at at the ballot box, because like we spoke about before, George is a boys club and there's a girls club and you cannot get in it.

00:27:01.240 And people don't understand, like when Tim says things like that, where you hold them accountable.

00:27:05.480 OK, well, how do you hold them accountable?

00:27:06.760 You primary them.

00:27:07.620 How do you primary someone who's got a million dollars in the bank, a million dollar war chest, and then they're going to come after you more with with with the local GOP's out on Long Island, out in Richmond County?

00:27:17.480 There's there's really no holding them accountable.

00:27:19.380 So these people get away with it.

00:27:20.820 And these Republicans always say you're a bad person if you primary somebody because you make them spend all their money.

00:27:26.200 Well, I was I was part of a primary, George, in twenty nineteen here out here in Staten Island, where we made the opposition spend a million dollars.

00:27:33.920 And you know what? He spent a million dollars in the primary and he lost in the general in November to a Democrat because we opened the voters eyes up to what happened.

00:27:41.900 So you had a Democrat for one term and now we have another Republican back.

00:27:45.680 And now she's not a Republican. 0.75

00:27:46.680 It's not called Molly Takis.

00:27:47.860 But that was vote in action because we held him accountable.

00:27:51.680 We exposed everything this man did.

00:27:53.460 And all his name was Dan Donovan.

00:27:55.420 All the rhino stances he's taken. 0.65

00:27:58.220 And we had a Democrat for one cycle. 0.72

00:28:00.100 But, George, at the end of the day.

00:28:01.740 Well, you had a Democrat.

00:28:04.020 Well, right.

00:28:06.060 Mighty Max Rose.

00:28:08.420 Mighty Max Rose.

00:28:09.640 He's a little, little Democrat.

00:28:11.160 He's a puny.

00:28:11.940 Tiny.

00:28:12.720 You could barely see him.

00:28:14.260 That's the reality.

00:28:15.620 I'll say this.

00:28:16.640 Look, Dan Donovan, for all of his flaws, really gave us a bad name when he started with the we can't live on one hundred seventy four thousand dollars.

00:28:23.740 I sleep on my couch in my office.

00:28:25.380 How embarrassing.

00:28:26.520 You're making one hundred seventy four thousand dollars and you're complaining about the way of life.

00:28:29.960 How about Americans who live on thirty thousand dollars a year?

00:28:32.800 The medium household income in America is like 50 or 60 grand household.

00:28:38.120 He was making one hundred and seventy four thousand plus whatever his spouse was making.

00:28:43.480 And he could he couldn't make ends meet.

00:28:45.900 It's so embarrassing and so out of touch.

00:28:48.080 Politicians are so out of touch with the American people.

00:28:50.340 It's offensive to me.

00:28:51.460 It's absolute downright offensive.

00:28:53.860 Let me tell you, I did just fine living in New York City and Washington, D.C. with one hundred and seventy four thousand dollars.

00:29:00.680 It's just about knowing how to manage your finances.

00:29:02.920 Clearly, I knew how to manage mine and they don't know how to manage.

00:29:05.980 Yeah.

00:29:06.540 And you know what?

00:29:07.140 These guys, Dan Donovan, what he didn't mention is he's got like two pensions, one for being a judge, one for being a district attorney.

00:29:13.400 His wife's a very successful attorney.

00:29:15.760 He lives like a million and a half dollar house out here on Staten Island.

00:29:18.960 And it's just always a money grab.

00:29:20.760 The last people in the world who deserve a raise, George, are politicians. 1.00

00:29:25.780 I mean, these people are the scum of the scum, the lowest forms of life. 1.00

00:29:29.780 I'm going to give you an example of one. 1.00

00:29:31.420 Nancy Pelosi's husband sold more than five hundred thousand dollars worth of Visa stock just weeks before the DOJ filed an antitrust lawsuit against Visa.

00:29:41.620 I mean, it's unbelievable.

00:29:44.080 The lawsuit says is alleging that Visa has illegally, illegally monopolized the debit card market over the course of many years.

00:29:52.460 How does Nancy Pelosi's husband know that it's time for him to sell his Visa stock?

00:29:58.460 What people don't realize, George, you mentioned one hundred seventy four thousand dollars.

00:30:01.800 Nancy Pelosi, according to the Daily Mail, is worth two hundred and fifty million dollars.

00:30:06.600 Why is Nancy Pelosi hanging around, traveling? 1.00

00:30:09.880 People don't realize, George, you have to travel to D.C. every week.

00:30:13.360 If you live in Staten Island, it's an hour long, two hour long train ride or a half hour flight.

00:30:17.840 If you live in San Francisco, it's a five or six hour flight that you're doing twice a week.

00:30:22.080 Why is Nancy Pelosi doing that, George, for one hundred seventy four thousand dollars a year? 1.00

00:30:25.940 Well, and that's 70 years old or 80 years old.

00:30:28.380 I don't know how old she is.

00:30:29.520 Right. So.

00:30:30.260 So, yeah, no, it's very telling.

00:30:32.160 The problem is power. Look, Nancy Pelosi is not a traitor or a wizard. 0.88

00:30:38.020 Neither is Paul Pelosi.

00:30:40.560 The reality is, it's very simple.

00:30:43.440 Nancy Pelosi and Paul Pelosi have the most consequential pillow talk in America. 1.00

00:30:47.760 Think about that pillow talk at night. Right.

00:30:50.420 John, you might see more pillow talk than Mike Lindell, some would say.

00:30:53.800 I mean, I would say Mike Lindell should give her some pillows because that's a whole lot of talking and that's a lot of pressure on your neck.

00:31:00.040 But think about it this way. While every American lays down at night to have pillow talk about, honey, I'm worried about the bills at the end of the month,

00:31:08.220 the electricity costs or they're sacrificing the quality of their lives so that so that they can just get by.

00:31:14.260 Nancy Pelosi is sleeping and pardon me, is having pillow talk about what bills and what's happening in government,

00:31:21.680 that how can it affect their finances?

00:31:23.480 And that's why you see this grotesque, visible insider trading habits that are very hard to escape the allegations that Nancy Pelosi has faced now for many years 0.98

00:31:32.820 because of the chips acts and chip buys and Raytheon and Boeing and every single other military industrial complex type company that has benefited from the legislation of war.

00:31:46.300 So Nancy Pelosi has the most consequential and expensive pillow talk in America while we're all having pillow talk about how are we going to keep the lights on and the roof over our heads? 0.99

00:31:55.600 You're absolutely. Since to put in perspective, since 2020, she's done just under one hundred million dollars in trades, George, one hundred million dollars.

00:32:03.240 That's money that like ninety nine percent of Americans will never see in their lifetime or ten lifetimes added up.

00:32:09.980 It's truly disgusting. I have an idea if these people in Congress don't want to ban trading.

00:32:16.420 Right. Because it's clearly this should be an up and down vote, as you guys call it there.

00:32:21.980 That should be. If it hit the floor, it would pass. If it hit the floor, it would pass.

00:32:26.000 The problem is the people that can put it on the floor are in on it so they won't put it on the floor.

00:32:31.920 That's the problem. You need to look at leadership on both sides of the aisle and hold them accountable.

00:32:36.540 George, I mean, that's exactly what we're doing here today. I have a problem with Republicans just as much as Democrats, which is the top of our conversation to start this.

00:32:43.940 But if they don't want to ban trading, I have a I have another idea.

00:32:47.360 We'll see if this can hit the floor. George, you guys who are in Congress or anyone in Congress, you have 30 days.

00:32:54.500 You have to report your trades within 30 days.

00:32:56.560 Anyone who's a stock trader or a hedge fund guy knows that after about 10 minutes, stock information is no good anymore.

00:33:03.160 Right. Once it hits the market, everyone's paraded the Bloomberg terminal things because you get an extra 10 seconds of trading time.

00:33:09.400 That's how crucial timing is in the trading market.

00:33:12.940 Why don't we make it so that if you want to make a trade, you have to report it before you make the trade and then go make the trade.

00:33:18.700 I think it'll level the playing field for the American people, wouldn't you say?

00:33:22.780 Well, I think it's fair. The problem is, is that they have 30 days regardless, even if they were to report it prior to.

00:33:28.620 Right. Because of the processing and the bureaucracy, the reality is there's no way to curbtail it.

00:33:33.540 And in plain put, simple English, if Americans don't get to play to don't get to play the same game of insider trading, neither should politicians.

00:33:42.740 The great example of that was Nicole Malio stock tips when she did a very lucky, suspicious trade on New York community bank stocks versus signature on the eve of the collapse of signature bank.

00:33:55.540 By the way, after the Ways and Means Committee had been officially notified that they would be shutting doors arbitrarily and out of the blue the very next day.

00:34:04.980 And guess who goes and suspiciously buys all these stocks on New York community?

00:34:10.400 The stock ticker used to be NYCB.

00:34:13.040 She goes and buys all this stock for NYCB randomly on the eve of the collapse and M&A, the merger and acquisition of signature bank.

00:34:20.900 That is criminal behavior. It's not hard to prove.

00:34:24.500 Obviously, you need to be able to investigate this.

00:34:27.520 And I think it should be not just for Nicole.

00:34:29.700 Nicole is just like her predecessor.

00:34:33.360 She's puny in the great scheme. 1.00

00:34:35.400 But here's something I will say to you, John.

00:34:38.080 I think it's very simple.

00:34:39.400 Let's just go back to constitutional serve.

00:34:41.760 No salaries, no salaries for members of Congress.

00:34:45.500 You know why?

00:34:46.000 You will only attract and you will only recruit the most talented, patriotic people who actually want to serve this country.

00:34:54.320 Because ever since it's been turned into a career, it has become abysmal and the country has been sold out for their own personal interests while Americans are suffering.

00:35:02.800 That is why we have a 30, what, 35, 36 trillion dollar debt right now and counting because politicians expected somebody like me to vote on a suspension of the debt ceiling last year.

00:35:16.320 Absolutely, I voted against that.

00:35:18.220 Absolutely, I voted against every CR.

00:35:20.120 Absolutely, I voted against every spending bill.

00:35:22.020 Do you know why?

00:35:22.980 Until you put a plan and you're forced to budget like every American has forced a budget today, I would have never voted.

00:35:29.320 I'm glad and I sleep well at night knowing that I never cost the American people a penny towards this abysmal budget that we have.

00:35:37.400 Yeah, and that's the problem is fiscal responsibility.

00:35:39.860 These people spend our money, our federal government's money like it means nothing.

00:35:43.340 You know, even getting rid of salaries for these people, it wouldn't matter.

00:35:49.240 Like I said before, I think Nancy Pelosi is going there for $174,000 a year when she's done $100 million in trades since 2020. 1.00

00:35:56.220 I remember the Nicole Molly atop this thing.

00:35:58.420 It's funny.

00:35:58.740 My father was in banking at the time, a very high up executive.

00:36:02.740 And his bank, I think, was being sold at the time or portioned off or whatever it was, sold.

00:36:09.400 And, you know, he'd come by after we saw that story.

00:36:12.840 And he said, how the hell did she know that was happening?

00:36:15.540 I had no idea.

00:36:16.800 And, you know, we're going through this right now.

00:36:18.760 We had no idea.

00:36:19.480 So, you know, it's funny, but it doesn't matter.

00:36:21.480 We get notified in Congress and she serves the needs committee.

00:36:24.980 They have a lot of privilege access and confidential access that not every member has.

00:36:30.140 She happens to be on that committee.

00:36:31.700 Notice how her stock trade habits changed once she joined the committee. 0.97

00:36:36.240 Here's what I'll say, John.

00:36:37.500 Here's a novel thought.

00:36:39.440 Every two years, if Congress fails to balance a budget and pass a 12 individual spending bills,

00:36:46.120 every single member of Congress is ineligible for reelection.

00:36:49.200 Imagine if we pass that.

00:36:52.760 You know what?

00:36:53.380 And maybe a couple of that would take in the salary because taking the salary from somebody

00:36:57.000 like Malia Tacos would hurt.

00:36:58.600 She's never had.

00:36:59.060 Well, maybe you don't take the salary away.

00:37:00.520 You just put that responsibility, that threshold.

00:37:02.980 Yeah.

00:37:03.220 This Congress is unable to balance a budget and pass 12 individual spending bills and be

00:37:08.900 and come through with their constitutional oath and their oath to office.

00:37:13.480 You're ineligible.

00:37:14.420 You're ineligible for reelection.

00:37:16.880 It's not a bad idea, George.

00:37:17.960 Change the game.

00:37:18.420 It's not a bad idea because a lot of these people have never held real jobs in their

00:37:22.040 lives, right?

00:37:22.700 They've never known what it's like to work in the private sector.

00:37:25.160 All they know is work in their local city council.

00:37:28.140 Then they get term limited out.

00:37:29.180 Then they go to their local Senate.

00:37:30.780 They get term limited out.

00:37:31.640 Maybe they go become a mayor.

00:37:32.780 They get term limited out.

00:37:33.480 Then they go to Congress until they're 150 years old.

00:37:36.220 And then they die there.

00:37:37.240 And I mean, it's literally, George, it's a recipe.

00:37:41.280 The same one that all these people follow.

00:37:43.380 I want to wrap up with a few things here.

00:37:45.180 And I appreciate you taking the time to join us today because I think the audience is going

00:37:48.800 to enjoy this greatly.

00:37:50.640 Speaking of the pot cold and the kettle black, and I think this story fits perfectly.

00:37:54.900 This week, U.S.

00:37:55.660 Capitol was hit by a large scale dark web cyber attack.

00:37:58.980 Passwords leaked through Stafford signing up for, quote, adult websites and dating apps.

00:38:04.340 George, what's going on on Capitol Hill?

00:38:08.100 Well, remember earlier this year when everybody was talking about that very obnoxious and disturbing

00:38:14.120 image that came out of the Senate hearing room with the staffer having a sexual, explicit

00:38:21.080 sexual activities with another male inside of the, on top of Amy Klobuchar's chair.

00:38:26.380 So this is very common.

00:38:29.980 Confirmation room, I think, right?

00:38:31.280 Yep.

00:38:31.860 This is very common practice on Capitol Hill.

00:38:34.340 I don't know from when your time you were there, but very early on, as soon as I got on

00:38:38.600 the Hill, I discovered that it's essentially a Sodom and Gomorrah. 0.78

00:38:41.460 It is absolutely dirty, putrid. 1.00

00:38:44.020 The sex cult and culture has dominated. 0.99

00:38:47.500 And when Madison Cawthorne said the famous words that they had cocaine sex orgies, he was 0.96

00:38:52.820 not lying. 0.56

00:38:53.620 He was telling the truth.

00:38:54.680 And I say that, and you can take my word for what it is, and you don't need to trust

00:38:58.600 me.

00:38:59.020 But believe me when I tell you, he was not lying.

00:39:01.960 You know, he had mentioned my time there.

00:39:04.020 It's funny.

00:39:04.400 I worked for a man that we both know very well, Chris Grant.

00:39:07.500 And I was so scared.

00:39:08.860 This man's probably about six foot six.

00:39:11.240 Big guy.

00:39:12.400 Every time I walked past Chris.

00:39:13.560 I was scared of him, too.

00:39:15.000 George, I'm 6'1".

00:39:16.520 I'm a big boy.

00:39:17.840 And I used to walk past Chris, and I'd be like, oh, oh, oh, you know.

00:39:21.200 You feel dainty and demure.

00:39:23.340 Yeah.

00:39:24.680 George, I didn't think twice about looking the wrong way or doing the wrong thing because

00:39:28.520 I was so terrified.

00:39:29.520 Chris, such a good guy.

00:39:31.340 Big Dog Strategies.

00:39:32.380 He runs a very successful political consulting firm for anyone looking to run through office.

00:39:36.120 It's Big Dog Strategies. 0.51

00:39:37.520 I want to wrap up with this.

00:39:39.380 We're both New Yorkers.

00:39:40.600 It seems everyone around Mayor Eric Adams has begun to fall.

00:39:45.440 You know, police commissioner resigned.

00:39:47.120 You got a new one in for 10 days.

00:39:48.940 His house has now since been raided by the FBI.

00:39:51.840 Everyone around Mayor Adams is falling.

00:39:54.980 They're alleging he has ties to Turkey.

00:39:56.900 As a man who's been under investigation himself, George, do you think the House of Cards is starting to fall for Mayor Adams?

00:40:05.540 I mean, it's almost impossible for everyone around you to fall without, you know, the statue eventually falling.

00:40:11.920 What do you think is going on with Mayor Adams?

00:40:14.140 The reality is the foundation has started to crumble and pretty soon the foundation upholding him is going to fall.

00:40:18.940 Therefore, he will fall.

00:40:20.160 The reality is when even a Monsignor is caught up in an embroiled political scandal like this and corruption scandal in the Brooklyn diocese, I think that's very telling.

00:40:30.500 The reality is Mayor Adams is going to have a very, very long road ahead of him when it comes to these investigations for everything that we're seeing reported allegations.

00:40:40.360 And as I speak with sources on the ground, the reality is, is the mayor is soon to be caught up and have his own charges presented against him if everything pans out to be the way it seems to be.

00:40:51.140 Because there's no way you're telling the American people that his entire financial operation gets indicted, but he doesn't know anything about it.

00:40:58.400 I'm sorry.

00:40:58.980 I don't buy it.

00:40:59.640 And wait until they start pulling and looking at the contracts for the real estate developers in New York City, which I know he's very cozy with because I know a lot of the players and Mayor Adams bragged about a lot of these charter school licenses and a lot of these big buildings and garages and hotel conversions into temporary homeless shelters.

00:41:18.400 You name it.

00:41:19.480 Mayor Adams has his finger on a lot of these things.

00:41:22.080 There's a lot of play to play.

00:41:23.660 And I think his time is is I think his goose is about to be just well done pretty soon.

00:41:29.640 Hey, you know, the thing, George, people don't realize is when you're surrounding this man and you're looking at and the DOJ comes to you and says, well, you know, it's 10 years for this, 10 years for that, 20 for this, 30 for that.

00:41:41.880 And before you know it, you're looking at 80 years.

00:41:43.620 But if you want a rat, maybe we can get you like community service. 0.97

00:41:48.700 You know, damn well, those guys are going to start squealing and squealing and squealing because they don't know. 0.98

00:41:53.920 Oh, they'll sing like yellow canaries. 0.94

00:41:57.840 Absolutely true.

00:41:59.340 George Santos, thanks for everything, man.

00:42:01.140 I appreciate it.

00:42:01.800 We hope your case goes, you know, as well as possible.

00:42:04.160 And, you know, like you said, you take you take responsibility for what happened.

00:42:08.340 And, you know, we move forward from there.

00:42:10.660 You get the last word here, George.

00:42:12.680 Well, John, thank you for having me.

00:42:14.180 And like I said earlier, life is about a path and we all meet our own path and we have to walk it.

00:42:20.660 I'm walking mine.

00:42:21.380 I appreciate you for the time.

00:42:22.900 I appreciate for the fun and candid and candor in the conversation.

00:42:26.240 But the reality is, hey, when push comes to shove, own up, mess up, move on and be a better person.

00:42:32.800 So thank you for having me.

00:42:33.920 We're human beings, George.

00:42:35.220 You take responsibility.

00:42:36.500 And, you know, we reap the consequences from God.

00:42:39.320 Anthony Diasmozito, it's time for you to admit what you did wrong and come forward. 0.96

00:42:43.760 Don't be a coward.

00:42:44.420 The truth will set you free. 0.95

00:42:46.620 You heard from George Santos.

00:42:49.120 George, thanks so much.
