00:00:00.000 hello everybody and welcome to the great america show it's great to have you with us on yet another
00:00:06.440 beautiful day in america up here in new york the northeast temperatures reaching 80 degrees
00:00:11.400 nice little taste of uh hopefully summer right around the corner and uh no more rain uh no more
00:00:17.740 frigid nights but i'm sure it's just a tease may 5th folks better known as i guess cinco de mayo
00:00:24.720 at least back when I was a little bit younger,
00:00:28.800 when I had the opportunity to celebrate the day.
00:00:31.020 Now, as you get older, work becomes a priority. 0.97
00:00:35.100 Doesn't that suck?
00:00:36.140 Let's get into some news of the day, folks.
00:00:37.940 And once again, I hope you guys are having a wonderful day,
00:00:39.820 a wonderful week.
00:00:41.220 I hope you guys are celebrating Cinco de Mayo.
00:00:44.240 Let's talk about this gerrymandering to begin the show, why don't we?
00:00:49.020 And the Supreme Court with yet another massive ruling. 1.00
00:00:52.960 And it turns out the justices are finally, finally having enough of Ketanji Brown-Jackson and her stupidity. 1.00
00:01:02.140 Justice Toledo, the latest to call out the hypocrisy and call out the stupidity of Ketanji Brown-Jackson. 1.00
00:01:11.580 Now, last week, the Supreme Court issued a decision on the landmark voting rights case in Louisiana. 0.98
00:01:17.820 Arguments were heard in Virginia's Supreme Court in Scott v. McDougal.
00:01:21.520 in the case in louisiana the supreme court held that louisiana's congressional map
00:01:26.560 was unconstitutional it was racially gerrymandered under the equal protections clause of the 14th
00:01:31.900 amendment now yesterday supreme court ordered that the judgment be issued to the lower courts
00:01:37.420 immediately rather than in 32 days which will now allow louisiana to redraw its congressional maps
00:01:44.220 immediately in the mcduzel case the state held a referendum vote to temporarily amend the state's
00:01:50.060 Constitution to allow a redistricting that would most likely yield a 10-to-1 favored map for the
00:01:57.120 Democrats. Currently, the map is 6-to-5 favored of the Democrats in Virginia. President Trump
00:02:03.460 received 48% of the vote in the 2024 election. However, to restore fairness, as was worded on
00:02:09.340 the ballot, April 21st, Republicans would be limited to less than 10% representation.
00:02:14.820 so if that's not gerrymandering then what is 48 of the vote to president trump
00:02:23.680 but will now have if they're lucky one seat of representation in congress now i'm sure the
00:02:32.180 democrats know this that's how you're represented on the federal level every so many people get a
00:02:40.240 congressional seat, that congressman, congresswoman goes to Congress to represent you on the federal
00:02:44.940 level. But in the case of Virginians, 48% now have about 1% of the say. So now the Virginia
00:02:56.480 Supreme Court has not issued a decision yet on this Scott versus McDougal. However, an injunction
00:03:01.540 to halt the referendum in a lower court was left in place, which may suggest a favorable ruling
00:03:05.980 against the 10-to-1 gerrymandering favoring the Marxist Dems.
00:03:09.260 So there is some possible smooth roads ahead for the Republicans.
00:03:16.320 And me, personally speaking, I believe it's not going to be upheld in Virginia.
00:03:22.520 And if the Virginia Supreme Court does uphold it, I think it heads right to,
00:03:26.940 directly to, the U.S. Supreme Court, which we could already see,
00:03:30.980 based on this ruling in Louisiana, it stands no chance. 0.67
00:03:39.480 So I think they're kind of screwed, if you ask me.
00:03:43.900 Now, we're going to be in NOLA tomorrow doing some work on this case. 0.65
00:03:50.000 You'll have to stay tuned in Louisiana.
00:03:53.100 Now, the best part about all of this and the quote-unquote gerrymandering,
00:03:57.360 because anytime the Republicans do it, it's gerrymandering.
00:04:00.000 so the democrats call it and when the democrats do it they call it redistricting
00:04:04.260 funny right so the organizations that get involved in this nonsense the naacp the league
00:04:11.220 of women all these organizations now after the u.s supreme court affirmed that racial
00:04:17.680 gerrymandering in louisiana the naacp and the league of women voters the power coalition of
00:04:23.120 equity and justice sought a temporary restraining order barring governor jeff landy from implementing
00:04:28.960 a new map to replace the unconstitutional gerrymandered map that they had pushed before,
00:04:36.320 for which absentee ballots were mailed out on April, and early voting began on May 2nd.
00:04:42.680 Now, in their petition, plaintiffs stated that there was irreparable harm if their members
00:04:48.700 and their votes were canceled because of the government's unlawful executive order
00:04:52.320 purporting to cancel the May 16th elections. So in other words, what they wanted is just
00:04:57.240 one last chance one last chance to cheat just one last chance kick the can down the road
00:05:04.640 so they're tweaking out they said before the governor issued his executive order
00:05:10.860 the Louisiana NAACP members had already cast their absentee ballots in the May 16,
00:05:16.280 2026 congressional primary and that as a result the governor suspended the elections
00:05:20.360 the Louisiana NAACP's efforts to educate voters on the timing of the May 16th election
00:05:25.680 they were wasted now with the supreme court's expedited judgment it would be unconstitutional
00:05:32.640 for louisiana to allow these elections to go forward given the high court's ultimate decision
00:05:37.120 that the current map violates the 14th amendment equal protection clause
00:05:41.160 so how could louisiana apply the u.s supreme court's ruling
00:05:48.400 when the election as argued in mcdougall early voting has already begun
00:05:53.600 Now, one of the central arguments in the McDougal case was that the General Assembly violated Virginia's Constitution by proposing the amendment days before the election for the next General Assembly.
00:06:07.240 In Virginia, the Constitution requires that the proposed amendment be agreed to first by the General Assembly, then an election for the House of Delegates must occur before the next General Assembly delegation votes on the proposed amendment for a second time.
00:06:20.800 From there, its proposed approval is presented to the voters of Virginia as a referendum.
00:06:28.620 Now, that's a lot, right?
00:06:30.700 And we didn't hear about it.
00:06:32.960 You want to know why?
00:06:34.500 Because the House of Delegates didn't pass the proposal the first time until October 31st of 2025, days before the election for the next House of Delegates.
00:06:43.760 Petitioners argued that they already cast their ballots, thwarting intent of the framers to allow constituents accountability on how their delegates voted on a proposal.
00:06:53.640 Millions of early voters weren't even aware that there was such proposal that was going to be made.
00:06:58.960 The kids call it these days fleecing somebody.
00:07:02.160 So they were fleeced, the people of Virginia.
00:07:05.500 Had no idea what was going to happen.
00:07:09.400 Had no idea that they were going to be lied to.
00:07:12.240 But I guess any time you're dealing with a politician, you should expect that you're going to be lied to.
00:07:21.700 Now, the hypocrisy is glaring, because in Louisiana, they can't redraw the unconstitutional maps because voting the election has already begun, is what they say.
00:07:29.440 In Virginia, they can make an amendment to the Constitution, something that takes generations to do, take away representation from more than 40% of Republican constituencies.
00:07:39.360 There's a little bit of hypocrisy.
00:07:42.240 Wouldn't you say you can change it in Virginia days and months before an
00:07:50.000 election, but when you go to Louisiana, it, the bet's off.
00:07:54.240 You're not to touch it, but nobody calls these people out folks.
00:07:58.540 And you often hear me talk about this. Nobody calls them out on their BS.
00:08:02.480 Nobody calls them out on their hypocrisy. 0.95
00:08:06.120 And it's a joke because they continue to get away with it. 1.00
00:08:11.060 they continue to make fools of themselves. And the Republicans, some of them are just 0.99
00:08:17.420 about as good for nothing. But in my view, things are going to work out for the midterm elections.
00:08:27.740 The Democrats have lost the gerrymandering fight, and they're in a total meltdown over.
00:08:33.100 You turn to any Marxist Dem station, which they pretty much all are, even Fox sometimes,
00:08:39.800 and they're abhorrent. 0.99
00:08:44.980 The Republicans are racist. 1.00
00:08:48.160 They're gerrymandering out. 1.00
00:08:51.200 They're segregating black people. 0.87
00:08:53.760 Well, it's quite the opposite 0.96
00:08:54.920 of what the Republicans have done.
00:08:56.340 As a matter of fact,
00:08:57.860 it's the Democrats in Louisiana 0.94
00:08:59.540 who segregated out black people 0.98
00:09:02.280 to make their own district for black people.
00:09:05.380 And I think all of this put together, in conjunction with the 2024 election, Black voters have opened their eyes.
00:09:17.300 Now, it's always been historically that Black people vote Democrat.
00:09:22.500 But over President Trump's three, we'll call it three terms, three elections, the goalpost has moved, the votes have shifted and shifted and shifted further to the right.
00:09:33.020 because of messaging, because of Republicans letting the black community know,
00:09:40.760 listen, the Democrats don't care for you. 0.99
00:09:42.900 They use and abuse you.
00:09:46.060 They use you as a trophy, and they'll do anything they can to.
00:09:51.620 President Trump is the one who made sure funding was there for HBCUs,
00:09:59.080 historically black colleges and universities.
00:10:01.780 President Trump is the one who has continued to try to empower and create jobs for the black community.
00:10:14.500 And the community, I believe, has seen that, which is why we see the shift in votes and the number of votes from 16 to 20 to 24.
00:10:23.820 And I hope this is just the start of it to the black community, to the Hispanic community, to the Asian community, to realize the Democrats aren't on your side. 0.70
00:10:34.700 They're going to use you.
00:10:36.120 They're going to claim racism.
00:10:38.580 They're going to claim xenophobia, whatever.
00:10:43.580 And I hope it's a wake up call.
00:10:45.360 Folks, let's take a quick break.
00:10:46.980 If you're joining us live on Rumble or YouTube, please be sure to smash that like, subscribe and follow button.
00:10:51.420 We're taking a break.
00:10:52.460 Less than 60 seconds.
00:10:53.340 We're coming right back.
00:10:54.980 When we come back, I want to talk to you a little about the Supreme Court.
00:10:58.520 And they're having a hard time with Ketanji Brown-Jackson,
00:11:02.280 someone who shouldn't even be in that job in the first place.
00:11:04.820 Folks, we're taking a quick break.
00:11:06.140 Please stay with us.
00:11:06.900 We're coming right back.
00:11:13.940 Thanks, everybody, for staying with us here on The Great America Show.
00:11:16.720 Once again, happy Cinco de Mayo.
00:11:18.440 I hope you guys are all having a nice margarita after the show.
00:11:23.120 Corona, whatever drink you prefer.
00:11:25.880 If you're joining us on Rumble YouTube,
00:11:27.300 please be sure to hit that like, subscribe, follow button.
00:11:29.140 If you're joining us on audio or any other platform,
00:11:31.040 please be sure to like us, give us a thumbs up,
00:11:33.460 and let us know what you think of the show.
00:11:35.480 So patience is wearing thin for some of the conservative justices
00:11:39.540 when it comes to people like Ketanji Brown Jackson,
00:11:43.880 who, quite honestly, I'm not sure, has a brain in her head.
00:11:50.080 and i think that's me being nice i mean you see some of the stuff that comes out of this woman's 0.87
00:11:59.580 mouth and it's like uh did you go to law school did you graduate eighth grade what world are you
00:12:10.220 living in what era are you living in and i think like i said some of these justices have finally
00:12:17.080 had enough. One of them being one of the most reserved on the court.
00:12:22.580 Usually you get the big bullets from Clarence Thomas, who's
00:12:24.840 just an absolute godsend.
00:12:30.220 Just a terrific human being.
00:12:33.040 By the way, he loved Lou Dobbs. They were on the same
00:12:36.060 foundation together, Horatio Alger.
00:12:40.300 He loved Lou Dobbs. Loved him.
00:12:43.060 may the great Lou Dobbs rest in peace we miss you every day Lou and I know you're up there
00:12:50.520 listening because sometimes you send some subtle messages when I do something wrong and that's
00:12:54.480 often but just know brother I miss you every day and I love you so getting back to that
00:13:00.580 conservative justice Alito blasting this week Ketanji Brown Jackson as the supreme court as
00:13:08.120 we mentioned the first block there sped up the timeline to immediately allow Louisiana's
00:13:12.640 redistricting judgment to go into effect ahead of the midterm elections now the decision came
00:13:19.060 last month in the 6-3 you can guess who the three were Sotomayor Kagan and Jackson if you
00:13:29.060 couldn't figure it out now Louisiana delayed its May 16th house primaries last Thursday after the
00:13:35.760 ruling on Monday which is yesterday we'd said the Supreme Court fast-tracked the timeline
00:13:40.800 to allow them to get through it right away.
00:13:44.840 Now it's sped up this normal 32-day timeline
00:13:48.360 before Justice formally returned the case to the lower court.
00:13:52.640 It's because the Supreme Court understands there's elections that are going on.
00:13:57.180 We've got to stay on top of it.
00:14:00.040 We can't delay elections because of a 32-day procedural BS.
00:14:05.420 So let's get this thing rolling. Let's get this thing moving.
00:14:07.980 and enough with the nonsense.
00:14:13.880 Now, that didn't sit well with a Marxist Dems, 1.00
00:14:19.260 namely Miss Ketanji Brown Jackson. 1.00
00:14:25.080 She's absolutely losing it. 1.00
00:14:29.620 Absolutely losing it.
00:14:33.320 In her dissent, Jackson said the majority,
00:14:36.160 which is, she's talking about majority of the Supreme Court
00:14:39.960 and their ruling
00:14:41.540 just take a listen, I'm going to read it to you
00:14:46.680 listen to her words that she chose
00:14:51.320 she said the majority, quote, unshackles itself
00:14:55.620 quote, unquote, from
00:14:59.200 constraints, quote, unquote
00:15:02.660 The court should follow the false rule, she insisted. 0.99
00:15:09.180 It's a wise choice of words from Ketanji Brown Jackson, and sort of hypocritical, that she wants to elude and make slavery references when she's in favor of gerrymandering black districts.
00:15:30.400 What do you think? 1.00
00:15:31.640 I think it's just a tiny bit hypocritical for the idiot to be doing something like that. 1.00
00:15:38.960 Now, this sparked, I mean, flares and flames from the ears of Justice Alito, 1.00
00:15:46.240 who joined Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, and the trio as part of the court's conservative wing,
00:15:51.980 calling Jackson's dissent baseless and insulting.
00:15:54.200 Quote, the dissent in this suit levels charges that cannot go unanswered.
00:16:02.800 The dissent would require that the 2026 congressional elections in Louisiana be held under a map that has been held to be unconstitutional.
00:16:16.880 And I think they wrote it like that very plainly and very nicely.
00:16:20.880 and not too lawyerly for Ketanji Brown-Jackson
00:16:26.720 to understand what they were saying. 0.94
00:16:29.340 Listen, Ketanji, the map is unconstitutional.
00:16:33.480 How the heck do you want to hold elections
00:16:35.960 with an unconstitutional?
00:16:42.120 It's like a baseball game.
00:16:43.280 I don't know if you guys watch baseball,
00:16:44.460 but this year they have this thing called ABS,
00:16:47.600 which you can literally challenge a pitch.
00:16:49.000 and they have timeouts.
00:16:51.380 The batter can call a timeout.
00:16:52.500 The pitcher can call a timeout.
00:16:54.440 This is the equivalent to a batter calling a timeout,
00:16:58.300 the umpire granting the timeout, acknowledging it.
00:17:01.480 Pitcher's already in his windup.
00:17:02.860 He throws the pitch.
00:17:04.060 Batter hits the pitch, and it's a home run.
00:17:06.580 There's a timeout.
00:17:08.120 The home run's no good.
00:17:10.220 There's a timeout on both sides, and that's that.
00:17:14.000 But Ketanji doesn't understand that.
00:17:15.740 And I think it's very nice of Alito to say things nicely for her because she's very lost.
00:17:29.020 Let's turn to some news on Capitol Hill, folks.
00:17:31.080 Senator Rand Paul, probably the biggest thorn in the side to MAGA on the Republican side, warning that the DOJ only has one week left to charge Fauci for lying to Congress about gain of function.
00:17:45.740 ran paul in a post on twitter writing quote the doj has one week left to charge anthony fauci
00:17:50.960 for the worst cover-up in modern medical history lied to congress about funding gain of function
00:17:56.100 research in wuhan millions died trillions were spent and fauci walked away with book deals
00:18:00.960 and fawning media coverage instead of handcuffs i read my criminal referral to the doj because
00:18:06.680 the evidence is overwhelming justice has been delayed for far too long now in 2021 fauci
00:18:12.840 class for Rand Paul. During Senate hearings, Fauci looked the American people in the eye and
00:18:16.880 denied that the NIH had gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China. Months later, the NIH was forced
00:18:24.640 to admit that they did indeed very well fund research. Fauci swore up and down under oath
00:18:30.500 that it never happened. Back in July of 2023, Rand Paul formally criminally referred Fauci to the
00:18:36.720 DOJ. Then in 2025 of July, Paul announced he would reissue the criminal referral, this time to the
00:18:42.600 trump doj after it was revealed that fauci had only received a shady auto pen pardon from biden
00:18:49.820 that wasn't even really properly approved now the new york times reviewed some of the emails from
00:18:56.380 national archives that were handed over to the trump doj as part of their investigation into
00:19:00.880 the auto pen scandal and confirmed fauci's pardon was not approved by biden but rather by chief of
00:19:06.540 staff of the White House, Jeff Zeitz. So why is the DOJ not challenging it? And it would be nice
00:19:14.280 if Rand Paul spent a little bit more time working on this as he spent going after Mark Wayne Mullen
00:19:22.880 or the rest of the Republicans or President Trump with his little butt boy, Thomas Massey.
00:19:29.900 It would be nice. Maybe we'd get some indictments. But Rand Paul has clouded the water so much 0.74
00:19:34.940 because of his Trump derangement syndrome, that he's been unable to do so.
00:19:40.140 Folks, let's take one more quick break here on The Great America Show.
00:19:42.620 Much, much more to come.
00:19:44.180 President Trump holding small business day at the White House yesterday.
00:19:46.520 We got some remarks from him on that.
00:19:50.180 General Cain, Raising Cain with an update on the Strait of Hormuz
00:19:54.860 and what's going on over there.
00:19:56.940 It gets worse for Eric Swalwell, folks.
00:19:59.940 It gets worse.
00:20:01.360 Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it got worse.
00:20:04.580 We're going to tell you what we found out today with Eric Swalwell and Ron DeSantis.
00:20:09.060 Is he looking for a job in the Trump administration or is he looking to run in 2028?
00:20:12.820 All of that and much, much more on the other side of this quick break, folks.
00:20:15.240 Please stay with us.
00:20:16.320 We'll be back in less than 60 seconds.
00:20:23.920 Thanks, everybody, for staying with us here on The Great America Show.
00:20:26.340 If you join us on Rumble, YouTube, Twitter, please be sure to smash that like, subscribe and follow button.
00:20:30.540 If you're on audio or any other platform, just give us a like and let us know what you think of the show.
00:20:35.600 Let us know, as always, where you're tuned in from.
00:20:37.120 We'd love to know.
00:20:38.320 So, folks, the left wing Marxist run media, Bill Maher, who's tried to play it safely.
00:20:46.640 I don't know, each and every time, suggesting that the left is pushing people to join the right.
00:20:53.120 By continuing to embrace trans ideology for kids.
00:20:57.680 Is that what's pushing them, Bill?
00:20:59.940 It's amazing to me that somebody like you, who, to me, just speaks common sense and science and a straight arrow.
00:21:06.460 I mean, piano playing, just like brilliant.
00:21:11.000 We get it.
00:21:12.060 And yet, I bet you there's a lot of people, because you said the Times attacked you and tried to get me to throw you under the bus.
00:21:19.100 For them, you're just some sort of right winger.
00:21:23.560 Because you won't go, the same thing they say with me, and I'm not. 0.98
00:21:27.120 Because I'm saying that girls shouldn't be cutting off their breath. 0.94
00:21:29.080 Right. Just because I won't go along with the nonsense. I won't go along with the crazy. I am somehow in your view. You want to put me in this other category. And I've said this before, like they've driven a lot of people like Joe Rogan and Elon Musk, people who are not conservative people, who are actually liberal heroes for a long time. 0.99
00:21:51.620 they've driven them into the conservative side because they were so like unacceptably not super 0.95
00:22:01.220 woke just because they wouldn't go along with the bullshit yeah and they're not going to do it to me 0.97
00:22:07.060 i don't think they're going to do it to you you know you're not going to get me onto your side 0.99
00:22:11.260 but you know what you're not going to stop me from calling you out when you're crazy because 0.95
00:22:16.240 There is a lot of crazy. Ask Donald Trump. It got him elected. 0.99
00:22:20.840 But also what I find interesting about like extreme Bill Maher thinks he understands it.
00:22:26.360 Something tells me his ratings must have taken a little bit of a tank.
00:22:31.760 Or a lot of bit of a tank.
00:22:34.040 Perhaps the reason why voters are flocking to the Republican Party is for some of the reasons that President Trump laid out yesterday on what he's doing for the American people.
00:22:42.980 Last summer, I proudly signed the great, big, beautiful bill, the largest tax cuts in the history of our country and boosting millions of small businesses.
00:23:00.820 Boosting millions of small businesses, we passed no tax on tips, no tax on overtime and no tax on Social Security for our seniors.
00:23:10.500 That's big stuff.
00:23:11.440 And we add that to the package that we approved in my first term.
00:23:15.380 We had the best financial years in the history of our country in my first term.
00:23:20.080 And I think we're going to blow them away this term.
00:23:22.820 You know, in this term, we have $18 trillion being invested in our country.
00:23:27.320 And if you look at the last administration, they had less than $1 trillion for four years.
00:23:32.860 We have $18 trillion during an 11-month.
00:23:35.400 The 12-month hasn't come in yet in terms of the numbers.
00:23:40.000 But in 11 months, $18 trillion investments.
00:23:43.240 We have auto plants being built all over the country, AI plants.
00:23:47.000 We're doing, and we're leading China in AI.
00:23:49.940 And I'm going to go see President Xi in two weeks.
00:23:52.160 I look forward to that, but I'll say I'm leading.
00:23:56.540 We have friendly, we have very friendly competition.
00:24:00.580 But actually, it'll be a very important trip.
00:24:04.020 We provided 100% expensing and bonus appreciation, which is tremendous.
00:24:10.000 One of the biggest things that you have. I mean, it's people have no idea how big that is.
00:24:14.880 The businesses do so that businesses can deduct 100 percent of the cost of new facilities, equipment and capital investment in the first year.
00:24:23.440 It used to take 38 years of deduction. Now you get it done in one.
00:24:27.020 You can take one so you can expand. I think that's what made us so successful in the first term.
00:24:32.760 And now we have it for a 10 year period. So you have it for a while.
00:24:36.160 I really was going to make it for a one year period. That would mean you spend all your money immediately.
00:24:40.000 And now, unfortunately, I gave you too much time.
00:24:43.240 I was sort of against that.
00:24:44.780 I said, let's do it for a shorter period of time.
00:24:46.760 But we did it.
00:24:47.580 It's the right thing.
00:24:48.820 And this way, when I get out of office in, let's say, eight or nine years from now, I'll be able to use it.
00:24:56.960 I'll be able to use it.
00:25:04.240 That one had to have the Marxist Dems very, very upset.
00:25:10.000 very upset when he gets out of offices in eight to nine years.
00:25:15.380 So maybe that's perhaps why people are fleeing to the Democrat Party.
00:25:21.940 Mr. Marr, you ever think about that? 1.00
00:25:24.560 Or the fact that the Democrats are just sick, demented, perverted weirdos? 1.00
00:25:31.860 Speaking of, Eric Swalwell, who was recently forced to resign for various reasons, 0.99
00:25:37.140 including accusations of rape, now also accused of sending videos of himself
00:25:41.960 in the act of pleasuring himself to various women on the Internet.
00:25:46.160 It's positively stunning to think that up until a few weeks ago,
00:25:49.520 this man was the leading Democrat candidate for governor of California.
00:25:53.620 People looked at him like a god.
00:25:56.860 Mediaite is reporting, and Mediaite usually goes after Republicans only. 0.83
00:26:01.380 This must be true if they report it, right? 0.59
00:26:03.040 media says quote eric swalwell sent women videos of him masturbating and other proverbative messages
00:26:10.260 joining snapchat to restore faith in democracy it's accused by multiple women of sending these
00:26:16.680 sexual messages including the videos after becoming one of the first members of congress
00:26:21.080 to join snapchat in an effort to restore faith in democracy in a bombshell report that came out
00:26:26.600 sunday less than a month after swalwell resigned from congress after being accused of rape and
00:26:31.260 assault sexual assault that is by multiple women cnn spoke to more than a dozen of women who claimed
00:26:37.240 that the congressman had made them feel uncomfortable both in person and online over
00:26:40.820 the past decade several women told cnn that the congressman had sent them sexually explicit
00:26:45.760 messages on snapchat after became one of the first lawmakers to join snapchat and are held
00:26:51.500 in media as the snapchat king of congress we can restore a lot of faith that people have in
00:26:58.960 democracy by opening up a little bit more. Swalwell telling The Hill in 2016 after joining
00:27:03.200 the messaging service, Snapchat is a great way to do that. Now, to make matters much worse,
00:27:09.880 Swalwell is reportedly still communicating with former interns on social media.
00:27:15.780 His lawyers would be wise to advise him to get off the internet like maybe last week,
00:27:19.720 maybe a month ago. Now, the reason he's doing it on Snapchat, for those of you folks who don't
00:27:24.880 have it or i don't know how it works and when i was back in college i mean everyone had it you'd
00:27:29.240 had group chats and you know you'd have like 10 or 15 people in a group chat and you'd you literally
00:27:34.260 just send pictures to each other whether you're out with your buddies having a beer or fraternity
00:27:39.160 yeah whatever it's for kids it's really not for adults but you send a message and it disappears
00:27:46.480 after you know 10 seconds or 15 seconds to never be seen again unless you screenshot it which that
00:27:54.460 person gets alerted if you do that. So very rich of Swalwell. The writing was on the wall
00:28:00.120 10 years ago for this freak. And nobody wanted to heed the warning.
00:28:07.360 Let's start now, folks, to an update over in the Strait of Harmoo.
00:28:12.740 Let me describe this defensive operation just a few clicks down for you.
00:28:17.080 As the secretary said, Project Freedom is designed to protect commercial shipping
00:28:22.160 and help restore the flow of commerce through the strait and sustain freedom of navigation.
00:28:29.080 CENTCOM has established an enhanced security area on the southern side of the strait
00:28:34.680 that is now protected by U.S. land, naval, and air assets
00:28:39.900 to help defeat further Iranian aggression against commercial shipping.
00:28:44.920 I'd like to share a little bit more about U.S. capabilities,
00:28:48.200 But for operational security purposes, I'm not going to get into specific details out there.
00:28:54.840 On the surface, guided missile destroyers and other warships are detecting and defeating Iranian threats.
00:29:01.180 This includes fast boats and one way attack drones in the air.
00:29:05.680 More than 100 fighters, attack aircraft and other manned and unmanned aircraft synchronized by the 82nd Airborne Division are in the air.
00:29:15.320 24 hours a day providing defensive overwatch for the enhanced security area and its approaches
00:29:22.060 that I discussed. These forces are comprised of over 15,000 American service members and have
00:29:29.780 established localized air and sea control to protect against Iranian threats. Commercial
00:29:36.960 vessels that transit through the area will see, hear, and frankly feel U.S. combat power around
00:29:44.120 them on the sea in the skies and on the radio and as of this morning as as was mentioned prior to
00:29:51.560 u.s flag merchant vessels have transited and we anticipate more to transit over the coming days
00:29:57.560 further up the gulf u.s naval forces central command continues to work to identify and mitigate
00:30:04.320 any threats beyond project freedom centcom and the rest of the joint force remain ready to resume
00:30:10.820 major combat operations against Iran if ordered to do so. No adversary should mistake our current
00:30:18.140 restraint with a lack of resolve. And the president has said, as the secretary has,
00:30:23.660 that now is the time for those with equity stake in the strait to come assist. 0.88
00:30:30.400 Essentially, what President Trump has done in the Strait of Hormuz is hit the Iranians right
00:30:35.080 where it hurts. He's allowing his traffic to move through. He's allowing the rest of the
00:30:38.560 world traffic to move through but the iranians can't leave their ports and they did this to
00:30:43.380 themselves ron desantis folks he's been in the news lately doing that wonderful redistricting
00:30:48.500 map in florida looking to get in president trump's good graces again and more importantly
00:30:52.800 the good graces of maga because that's who goes to the polls now to vote desantis has been criss
00:30:58.080 crossing the country as he lays groundwork for increasingly likely 2028 presidential campaign
00:31:02.560 refining his pitch building relationships and working to move past his bruising 2024 defeat
00:31:07.320 by president trump now the term limited sunshine state governor is 47 years old started the week
00:31:14.380 by joining business leaders at the milken institute a global conference in beverly hills
00:31:18.120 and will keynote the new york republican party on may 19th in their annual gala
00:31:22.480 um in manhattan president uh i said president governor ron de santis saying quote i'm in my
00:31:30.980 mid 40s you know maybe beyond that i think there's a lot of runway ahead when he was asked if he'd run
00:31:38.000 for president who knows like you never know no i think you know governor and you're just trying to
00:31:44.640 lie about it there's one problem with that you've got to get the uh blessing of maga and you pissed
00:31:52.440 a lot of them off when you decided to do what you did this last election so i think um
00:32:01.240 Play it safe this time, Governor.
00:32:02.520 Be smart.
00:32:04.140 Be smart.
00:32:06.380 Be cognizant and know your audience.
00:32:09.420 I think it's probably the best advice I could give him.
00:32:12.640 Folks, as we said, today is Cinco de Mayo,
00:32:15.020 so I think it would be not right of me if we didn't end the show
00:32:19.740 with showing the image of some of people's favorite image, I should say.
00:32:25.840 good old sombrero
00:32:28.140 Hakeem Jeffries.
00:32:31.220 That's all for us tonight, folks,
00:32:32.520 here on The Great America Show.
00:32:34.160 We hope to see you back here tomorrow for The Great America Show.
00:32:36.840 Truth, justice, and the American
00:32:38.520 way.
00:32:40.260 It all
00:32:40.900 lands here. We'll see you back here tomorrow, folks.
00:32:44.820 Until then, may God bless you.
00:32:46.320 May God bless America, and may God bless the great
00:32:48.260 Lou Dobbs. Have a great night, everybody.
00:32:50.360 Happy Cinco de Mayo.
00:32:51.940 Have a margarita for me. See you tomorrow, folks. Have a great night.
00:32:55.840 You
