Hello everybody, I'm John Fawcett with this Great American Show midday update for Sunday, March 2nd.
00:00:04.980
Happy Sunday, everybody. I hope you all had a great weekend and ready to start this new week.
00:00:09.420
The calls are growing for Vladimir Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, to resign or to re-evaluate himself
00:00:14.880
after that failed meeting with President Trump in the White House just last week.
00:00:19.900
House Speaker Mike Johnson saying today that Zelensky might need to resign following that heated Oval Office meeting
00:00:28.080
Johnson saying, quote, he needs to come to his senses and come back to the table in gratitude
00:00:32.900
or someone else needs to lead the country to do just that so that a peace deal can be reached with Russia and the United States.
00:00:41.260
Johnson saying this on NBC's Meet the Press also said that the mineral rights deal that was not signed
00:00:46.540
would have been beneficial for both the U.S. and Ukraine.
00:00:50.500
But of course, Zelensky going into the meeting, pompous as can be, not entirely sure what his motive was.
00:00:56.640
But Zelensky on the short end of the stick, right after that meeting, ran over to Britain,
00:01:03.900
got a few hundred thousand pounds, a few million pounds over there to keep his war going,
00:01:09.160
to keep stoking the war drum as he honestly wants to keep doing.
00:01:14.400
Could have signed a mineral deal here on Friday, could have had a ceasefire,
00:01:19.100
could have stopped having his people dying on the battlefields.
00:01:22.040
But Zelensky chose violence and that's exactly what he's going to get.
00:01:26.540
I think pretty soon he's going to learn that the U.S. isn't on his side anymore
00:01:30.220
and he's going to have to figure out how he wants to proceed forward with this war with Russia.
00:01:37.120
Senator Mike Lee, throughout it all, is calling to the United States to exit from NATO
00:01:41.300
after a Norwegian fuel company stopped refueling U.S. military ships.
00:01:45.880
The whole scuffle started over the weekend in Haltback Bunkers, Norway.
00:01:51.380
They had stopped refueling the U.S. Navy ships and reportedly urging other European countries to follow in suit.
00:01:57.260
In a statement issued by Haltback Bunkers, the company explained that, quote,
00:02:01.020
it would no longer supply American military ships in Norway or those docking in Norway ports
00:02:06.320
and that the U.S. was excluded based on their behavior towards Ukraine.
00:02:11.640
The decision from the fuel company comes after, of course, that meeting with Zelensky and President Trump in the Oval Office.
00:02:18.380
If Norway wants to go ahead and play those games and refuse critical things like fuel to America,
00:02:27.320
they're going to have to learn to pay the price as well.
00:02:29.560
I think there's tariffs to be had for those folks if they want to play with national security
00:02:34.740
like they've done with these military ships and submarines that have gone to fill up there.
00:02:42.120
They're going to be on the short end of the stick.
00:02:45.400
And Attorney General Pam Bondi finally speaking out days, merely days,
00:02:51.040
after that botched Epstein file dump that was supposed to happen.
00:02:55.760
You remember she'd said on Jesse Waters' primetime that the documents were coming out
00:03:00.120
and we were going to learn everything and then the documents came out
00:03:02.380
and it was all documents that were already released, some of them 10 years prior in civil cases with Jeffrey Epstein,
00:03:12.380
So she re-released those and redacted them as the newly document dump that was supposed to come.
00:03:21.060
So after that catastrophic dumpster fire of those documents,
00:03:25.460
Pam Bondi has delivered a scathing update on the deep corruption and obstruction,
00:03:29.360
is what she's calling, within the FBI regarding these explosive documents.
00:03:33.840
Bondi appeared on Fox News' Life, Liberty, and Levin,
00:03:36.780
and she revealed that she had been assured that there were only 120 pages of files to release.
00:03:42.680
But a whistleblower had since exposed that the FBI's New York office is sitting on thousands of undisclosed documents.
00:03:49.240
Now, Pam Bondi, who's the Attorney General of Florida,
00:03:52.460
was the Attorney General of Florida, who's now the Attorney General of the United States,
00:03:55.780
couldn't honestly believe that there were only 120 documents throughout the whole Epstein case, could she?
00:04:03.180
Now, this is a career prosecutor, a career litigator.
00:04:05.440
She couldn't have honestly fell for the banana in the tailpipe that there were only 120 documents.
00:04:11.140
Considering, on just your average petty larceny case in America, you'd get 120 pages of documents.
00:04:18.340
Jeffrey Epstein's flight logs were probably four, five, six times that 120 pages that she allegedly believed were the documents.
00:04:28.020
So it's hard to believe that she could have fallen for this.
00:04:30.340
Now, I'm told from my sources that it wasn't Kash Patel's FBI who screwed the pooch.
00:04:39.000
So any notion that she's trying to put it over on Kash at the FBI, I'm being told, is categorically false and not true.
00:04:46.880
So we'll see what happens this week with the documents, but not a good start for Pam Bondi and her Department of Justice.
