00:00:00.120 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Monday, March 3rd.
00:00:05.080 Happy Monday, everybody. I hope, as always, your weeks are off to a terrific start
00:00:09.060 and you're ready to take on and tackle this week ahead.
00:00:13.000 Vladimir Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, you know, that man who came over here, 0.88
00:00:16.380 that little man who came over to America and made a fool of himself, 0.98
00:00:20.660 barging into the Oval Office, dictating, telling Trump and J.D. Vance what they were to do 0.97
00:00:25.600 and what they were not to do. Well, it didn't work out well for him.
00:00:28.120 It was a very short-lived stay. Wasn't even allowed to stay for the lunch afterwards.
00:00:33.940 President Trump's staff actually wound up eating the lunch that was set for Zelensky and his dignitaries.
00:00:38.700 So, Zelensky thrown out of the White House. He now says the end of the war with Russia is very, very far away.
00:00:46.500 Huh. Now, just last week he came to America and he was in favor of working towards a ceasefire.
00:00:52.480 He was ready to end this thing. But then, after he leaves America, he heads over to Britain.
00:00:58.780 Where they cut him a check for, you know, a little chunk of change that he's now going to spend
00:01:03.760 to continue to keep his war going. Who knows how much of it's going to go into his pocket
00:01:07.540 and how much of it's actually going to go into this losing war that he's continuing to fight.
00:01:12.560 So, last week he's ready for a ceasefire. Now, all of a sudden, this week he has no interest in a ceasefire.
00:01:17.120 He wants to keep this thing rolling as these NATO countries around the world continue to stoke this thing.
00:01:23.260 They continue to, you know, add fuel to the fire.
00:01:26.780 Letting this man continue to run rampant and continue this thing.
00:01:31.140 But Donald Trump has made it more than clear that he's absolutely done with these folks.
00:01:36.140 He's reportedly meeting with his aid state to discuss canceling the U.S. military aid.
00:01:41.280 Anyone that's already been set forth, he's looking at canceling it with Ukraine. 0.92
00:01:47.800 Zelensky's playing a very bad game here. He's playing a game with people's lives.
00:01:53.280 It's got to stop.
00:01:54.180 President Trump has said time and time again he only wants one thing, and that's peace in Ukraine.
00:02:00.420 Zelensky apparently wants nothing to do with that, as the money will stop flowing once that peace comes.
00:02:07.280 So, Zelensky's got to figure out what he's going to do.
00:02:11.360 Honda. You've heard of Honda. Some of us drive them.
00:02:14.580 They've decided to produce its next-generation Civic Hybrid in the United States, in Indiana in fact,
00:02:21.880 instead of Mexico, due to President Trump's tariffs.
00:02:25.100 Folks, it's such an easy concept.
00:02:27.560 If you make something overseas, and you've got to pay 20% or 30% or 40% to send it over here,
00:02:33.160 if you look at the numbers, it's worth just paying the great American people who sit here and sell those cars for you
00:02:38.640 than to import them from Mexico or from Canada.
00:02:42.600 So, President Trump's golden age has only just begun, and it's already proving that, once again,
00:02:48.560 President Trump was right about everything.
00:02:50.940 And speaking of the golden age and investment in America,
00:02:55.120 Trump's set to announce over a $100 billion investment from a Taiwanese chipmaker.
00:03:00.240 President Trump is set to announce that today in the Roosevelt Room,
00:03:04.800 where he'll brief the country on this investment.
00:03:07.420 The investment will be used to build out cutting-edge chip-making facilities.
00:03:11.060 Such an expansion would advance long-pursued U.S. goal to regrow the domestic semiconductor industry
00:03:16.900 after manufacturing fled largely to Asian countries in the recent decades.
00:03:21.700 It's the reason why America is so invested in Taiwan, 0.98
00:03:27.000 and why we're so reliant for semiconductors, because we simply don't do them here in America anymore.
00:03:32.760 And it's all thanks to our former presidents and failed leaders of this country
00:03:36.400 who have offshored just about everything they could possibly offshore.
00:03:41.200 Speaking of the golden age, freshman Congressman Brandon Gill has filed the, quote,
00:03:45.880 Golden Age Act to put President Trump's face, ready folks, on the $100 bill.
00:03:51.240 I'm all in favor of that. Why not?
00:03:53.700 President Trump has been a great president his first term, and he's going to be a better president his second term.
00:03:58.840 And speaking of presidential candidates, 2028 is just around the corner.
00:04:03.140 It feels like 2024 just happened, but these elections come fast, folks.
00:04:07.960 Speaking of failed 2024 Democrat VP nominee Tim Walz,
00:04:12.900 revealing this week he will certainly consider a 2028 run.
00:04:17.380 Ha ha ha. This is a man who couldn't win the job as vice president.
00:04:22.080 He wants to be president?
00:04:23.800 In an interview with the New Yorker, Walt said,
00:04:25.860 I think I could offer something. I would certainly consider that.
00:04:28.900 I'm also, though, not arrogant enough to believe that there's not a lot of people who can do this.
00:04:33.500 Yeah, you're absolutely right about that, Tim.
00:04:35.580 The American people don't want you.
00:04:37.180 They've rejected you in 2024, and they will probably overwhelmingly reject you in 2028.
00:04:44.160 Nobody wants your socialism, CCP agenda.
00:04:47.820 Infiltrating this country, especially after what President Trump is going to do over the next four years.
00:04:55.020 And Elon Musk's powerful Doge Committee is set to release its initial findings within the Department of Defense
00:05:00.820 tomorrow just ahead of the State of the Union address, folks.
00:05:04.760 So looking forward to that and how much waste, fraud, and abuse Elon has found just alone in the Department of Defense.
