The Great America Show - TEXAS AG PAXTON SAYS BIDEN IS DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO CREATE DISASTER IN AMERICA

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs, and this is The Great America Show.

00:00:05.320 We pray for those who've lost loved ones and their homes and livelihoods to Hurricane Ian.

00:00:11.640 And sadly, the death toll and damage only beginning to be added up.

00:00:16.320 And on Wall Street Friday, another big decline in the markets.

00:00:19.720 The stock markets plunge, crushing 401ks and investor confidence.

00:00:25.000 The bear market firmly established now.

00:00:27.660 And the big question is, when will all the pain stop?

00:00:32.100 The answer seems to be not soon.

00:00:34.960 At least, that's the answer from the Federal Reserve.

00:00:38.260 The stock market has lost about $8 trillion in market capitalization.

00:00:43.740 And this has been, without question, an economic nightmare authored by a president who seems to be straight out of a Stephen King novel. 0.98

00:00:54.100 Biden himself is mentally impaired. 0.98

00:00:56.400 He's little more than a puppet managed by a cabal of Marxist Dems. 0.99

00:01:02.040 Marxist Dems who control not only the White House, but the entire Democrat Party and the deep state.

00:01:08.540 And they are obviously intent on destroying the America that we all love and which is, for the world, liberty's last stand.

00:01:17.040 And in this moment of chaos and fear, where are America's leaders?

00:01:22.600 Biden is not a leader, only a puppet and a prop, as I've said. 0.54

00:01:26.360 And the Marxist Dems party, led by lame ducks who have done historic damage to the nation, as was their intent throughout, and to our economy.

00:01:36.580 And they're not the stuff of which saviors are made. 0.98

00:01:39.960 They are destroyers.

00:01:42.000 We can't turn to business either.

00:01:44.000 The big tech tycoons seek only their own wealth and interest, as does Wall Street.

00:01:50.140 And now they have an even greater outsized influence on American politics, media, and, of course, public policy itself.

00:01:58.920 Their power and influence are unchecked as never before.

00:02:02.640 Creepy Bill Gates, who embraces darkness and disaster as he seems to invite Armageddon with his latest prognostication.

00:02:12.600 Declaring, as reported by the Gateway Pundit, that the United States is now so polarized politically that what Gates calls a hung election will lead, he says, to civil war.

00:02:25.020 If so, it will be inspired by big tech, social media, big corporate media, and a Marxist-dem government, authoritarian in every way.

00:02:36.900 And think about it.

00:02:37.980 Elon Musk may soon be the owner of Twitter.

00:02:41.440 Now in the grip of the big tech lefties, Musk just might be, might just turn out to be a stabilizer.

00:02:49.840 And there is, of course, Salesforce billionaire Mark Benioff, who owns the vanity publication Time magazine.

00:02:58.280 It's leftists and the plaything of Benioff and his tech pals, and, of course, no leaders at the Fed whatsoever.

00:03:05.800 They're doing their best under Jerome Powell to recreate another 2018.

00:03:10.640 When the Powell Fed raised interest rates into that midterm election, that was a tremendous gift to the Marxist-dems, who took back the Senate and the House. 0.58

00:03:23.120 Powell, again, trying to replicate his success of that year.

00:03:27.480 Raising interest rates, driving quantitative tightening, selling off $9 trillion from the Fed's balance sheet.

00:03:35.720 Sheer madness.

00:03:36.880 And where is the Fed today?

00:03:38.700 Why the Fed is holding an emergency closed-door meeting right now on the havoc they're creating, both economically and politically.

00:03:48.300 No good, no bueno, and no accident.

00:03:52.060 And what a mess we're in.

00:03:54.640 Chairman Powell did the same thing back in 2018, pushing interest rates higher and targets lower.

00:04:01.280 President Trump saying that the Republicans would win anyway, despite the awful Fed policies.

00:04:06.980 But the Marxist-dems did win back the House and the Senate that year.

00:04:11.960 Thank you, Jerome Powell, trying to do the same thing this year. 1.00

00:04:17.380 Powell, an idiot beyond compare in the annals of central banking, and a dangerous one. 0.99

00:04:24.200 So hang on, everybody. 1.00

00:04:25.620 These are crazy times, obviously, and likely to get even crazier.

00:04:29.800 And there are no recognizable adults at work in the Republican Party to fight off these Marxist-dem destroyers, whether they originate in corporate America, the Marxist-dem party, or corporate America.

00:04:45.240 There are no adults, not at least at the national level.

00:04:49.720 Thank God for our red states and bright state stars and leaders.

00:04:53.960 With us now, one of those leaders and stars, our guest is Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

00:04:59.980 Mr. Attorney General, great to have you back with us.

00:05:02.520 And I have to say, the state of Texas is roaring right now.

00:05:06.560 I want to start with the number of illegal immigrants that you and Governor Greg Abbott are transferring to Washington, D.C. and New York City.

00:05:15.180 Good for you.

00:05:16.900 Inspired.

00:05:17.840 And the left is infuriated.

00:05:20.920 Yeah, it's amazing that they have created sanctuary cities.

00:05:26.700 And they have, say, New York, a few hundred.

00:05:29.200 And in New York, a few thousand.

00:05:30.520 We deal with 4,000, 5,000 a day.

00:05:34.500 They've never said anything about us.

00:05:36.640 They've never tried to encourage us.

00:05:38.360 They've never complained about the president, whose causes.

00:05:41.860 They complain that they don't have enough resources, that they're overwhelmed, and that it's somehow the fault of Texas, which is pretty hard for me to accept.

00:05:50.540 That is astonishing as you lay it out that way.

00:05:54.000 The precious mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, being bellicose about it all, is going to campaign against Republicans.

00:06:07.500 He's going to show you what for, New York style.

00:06:12.500 Well, look, in some ways, I'm glad this happened.

00:06:15.640 He's got, what, 400?

00:06:17.280 He might not even have 400 illegals that have hit him yet.

00:06:20.260 And yet, he has this overwhelming problem.

00:06:24.200 I think he is highlighting, really, what we've been saying since Joe Biden got into office.

00:06:29.300 We've got a real problem here.

00:06:30.880 You're experiencing what I call a drop in the ocean compared to what we're experiencing.

00:06:35.580 And it's affecting you in a very negative way.

00:06:38.240 You would think he'd have a little compassion for our state, who has to deal with 10 times the number that he's gotten total in one day.

00:06:46.680 It's astonishing when you put it that way.

00:06:50.600 And I think that's clear for all to comprehend when comparing the scale of the problems that New York's dealing with and the great state of Texas is dealing with.

00:07:03.560 And what are you doing with all of those people crossing your border every day? 1.00

00:07:09.500 What in the world can you do with that level of invasion?

00:07:14.520 Well, look, this is a, this is, I'm just going to say what we've really got going on here.

00:07:19.980 We have a partnership between the cartels, organized crime, who are trafficking literally thousands of people every day at a cost of $8,000 to $12,000.

00:07:29.160 The Biden administration has told them, you bring as many people here as you can, no matter what their background.

00:07:36.280 You don't have to, they don't have to run.

00:07:37.940 All they have to do is come to the border patrol and say the secret word, which is not so secret anymore, asylum.

00:07:43.500 And then we'll take them from there.

00:07:45.820 You hand them off to us and then we'll put them all over the country in the places that we determine that are best needed, that most needs illegal immigrants, which is mostly Republican states who they would love to see turn blue. 0.99

00:07:56.520 And who would, they would love for us to absorb, have to absorb all of those costs.

00:08:01.740 And so let's just be, let's just call it what it is.

00:08:05.060 This is organized crime in partnership with the Biden administration, bringing in drugs, human trafficking and other crimes and doing it all in violation of federal law.

00:08:13.500 And I think you put it as clearly as it can be put.

00:08:18.180 It is a three, it is a three party partnership though.

00:08:21.660 It's organized crime.

00:08:22.940 It's as you say, the cartels and the Biden administration, this partnership extends to the point that we're also watching deadly drugs come across the border in unseen levels.

00:08:39.780 It is, it is amazing to think that fentanyl, the products necessary to manufacture fentanyl are being shipped from China directly to Mexico and then put together, manufactured in Mexico and shipped across this wide open Biden border.

00:08:58.020 It is the poisoning of America as a number of people are describing it.

00:09:03.420 And I think they're exactly right.

00:09:04.880 This is a conscious effort to poison young Americans. 0.94

00:09:10.960 There's no doubt about it.

00:09:12.200 And this may be the hardest thing for me to personally deal with because I've had so many of my friends lose their teenage, their college kids to fentanyl.

00:09:22.260 And these kids don't even know they're taking fentanyl.

00:09:24.540 It's laced in other things.

00:09:26.100 And it's, it's so sad.

00:09:29.180 And yet the Biden administration has looked at the border knowing, knowing this is what Americans need to understand and accept about the federal government.

00:09:37.920 But they know that by, by inviting all of these people to the border, that border patrol doesn't have the resources to do anything other than logistics.

00:09:48.060 And so we're going to have more people, more kids die.

00:09:51.040 A lot more kids die.

00:09:52.680 Those numbers, as you said, are dramatically increasing.

00:09:55.420 And the Biden administration has said, we are willing to trade these children's lives to get more illegals here because we have bigger purposes than protecting our own children. 0.89

00:10:06.520 That is a reality of where we're at.

00:10:08.800 That reality, and I want to compliment you.

00:10:13.040 I want to thank you for putting it straightforwardly like that and in terms that we could all comprehend.

00:10:18.380 What I am dismayed at is that the Republican Party nationwide is not speaking that plainly because it is absolutely clear to all who will look that the, that the Obama administration and its Department of Homeland Security in particular are pro-cartels.

00:10:40.880 Yes, they are pro-illegal immigration, pro-deadly drug smuggling, pro-sex trafficking. 0.55

00:10:49.340 It cannot be construed any other way.

00:10:53.000 When you open that border, you open this country up to certain death for hundreds of thousands of people.

00:11:01.720 Yes, the Biden administration is participating, encouraging, and proliferating organized crime along the border.

00:11:09.220 And as a result, throughout the entire nation, as much as I'd like to say we are a border state, we are a border state, but really every state now is becoming a border state.

00:11:17.780 The Biden administration is doing everything they possibly can.

00:11:20.900 It's hard to, hard to accept this, that we have an administration that really is this evil.

00:11:26.200 They are doing everything possible to encourage the continuation of this disaster on our country.

00:11:33.700 And they're pleased with it.

00:11:35.920 They're proud of it.

00:11:36.920 They don't come out and say they're sorry for it.

00:11:39.120 We all know that under Trump, the numbers were one-third what they are now.

00:11:43.980 And they dismantled everything that could possibly work and put in place policies, not law.

00:11:51.020 They created their own policies, ignored federal law.

00:11:53.340 And as a result, we have all this bad stuff happening, not by accident, not even by incompetence, but by pure planning and scheming by a federal government that says we don't care what the law is.

00:12:05.600 We don't care what the constitutional role of the president is.

00:12:08.520 We're going to do our own thing.

00:12:09.560 And guess what?

00:12:11.040 Literally hundreds of thousands of Americans are going to be harmed by this.

00:12:14.320 Some of them are going to die, and we're okay with that because we have a bigger plan and a better plan that's worth sacrificing Americans along the way. 0.57

00:12:22.400 And, you know, I think they do believe that.

00:12:26.640 I don't know that it is in such an affirmative way as it is simply expedient politics on the part of the Biden administration and the Marxist Dems, who are running both that party and the federal government.

00:12:41.360 Fentanyl seizures, and I should point this out, at the southern border jumped over 200 percent in July last month.

00:12:49.940 And we're seeing no response.

00:12:53.120 We're not even hearing any statement from the federal government, whether it be the White House, whether it be the DEA.

00:13:00.040 There is nothing, no response whatsoever.

00:13:05.100 Does that – how can that be, and how much longer can we tolerate that?

00:13:10.260 I think the Biden administration will do this as long as we let them get away with it, as long as they're allowed to control the levers of government, as long as American people aren't speaking out, as long as the Republican Party is not speaking out.

00:13:22.440 The Biden administration will run – will trample the law, they'll trample the Constitution, and they'll allow this continuing growing of fentanyl transportation and, as a result, overdoses.

00:13:35.160 They will encourage it.

00:13:36.800 It's not just that they're allowing it.

00:13:37.920 They are encouraging the cartels, hey, we're not going to – you don't have to worry about us anymore.

00:13:42.940 You can get as much through as you want.

00:13:45.060 Go ahead.

00:13:45.680 We're more worried about logistics and getting as many illegals, so you can make money many, many ways at the border if you're the cartels, and the Biden administration has told them, as blatantly open as you can, here's what you can do, here's how you can make a lot of money, and we're okay with what happens as a result.

00:14:04.260 The state of Texas is doing something about it.

00:14:07.120 You're responding.

00:14:08.900 You are doing your very best to try to stop this.

00:14:12.940 It's impossible, I would think, for the state of Texas to be able to do that on a sustained basis month after month and certainly over the course of a year or so.

00:14:25.420 But having done so, you're also clearly agitating the cartels because they're raising the level of violence in northern Mexico, and there are a number of reasons for that.

00:14:39.220 But certainly amongst those reasons, I would guess, would be the response of Texas and a couple of other states to firmly responding to the cartels and the drugs and the illegals and the sex trafficking that's reaching their states.

00:14:56.520 Well, look, we are having an impact.

00:14:58.700 It's not stopped.

00:14:59.740 We're never going to be able to stop because the federal government knows that they can – and so do the cartels.

00:15:03.960 They can run most of this straight through Border Patrol.

00:15:08.360 Most people just come in and use the word asylum, and the Border Patrol takes care of them.

00:15:12.980 They're given money.

00:15:13.660 They're given phones.

00:15:14.420 They're given transportation, and they're given a place to go.

00:15:17.120 So we can't stop them unless we want to have a war, which is – we're not – it's not going to happen.

00:15:22.740 So we can't stop the federal government from violating the law, but we are capturing other people that don't want to go through Border Patrol, and we have captured cartel members who have been bringing in smuggling fentanyl.

00:15:38.120 I think we've gotten enough fentanyl had it been distributed enough to kill every single American.

00:15:43.800 And so we are making a difference.

00:15:45.060 We are saving lives.

00:15:46.020 We just can't stop the cartels and the Biden administration from their organized crime activities that they're doing together.

00:15:53.940 So where does this go?

00:15:57.460 The number of illegals are crossing that border are rising.

00:16:02.040 The drug – the deadly drugs are doubling in the case of fentanyl and all of the other drugs. 0.66

00:16:08.300 Sex trafficking.

00:16:09.080 And the media will not cover it in any significant way, the left-wing corporate media, all owned by American corporations, by the way.

00:16:21.700 We are in a moment in history the likes of which we have never, ever seen.

00:16:27.840 Where does this go, and where does it end?

00:16:29.640 I think we're going to have to hope that something happens with Congress, and they can start having an impact, start investigating the Biden administration and showing what they are causing, what they are purposely causing.

00:16:43.180 I would put this story together, and then I would tell the American people, say, this is your president, and here's what he's doing, here are the facts, here's what they've been trying to do, here's what their purposes are, and now it's in the open.

00:16:54.300 And you guys get to decide, we get to decide two years later, whether we want to keep this type of cartel activity and organized crime activity, or whether we're going to, as America, say, enough is enough, you can stop ruining our country, because by then we're going to have 10 million people here on the low end, and we're going to have a lot of dead kids.

00:17:12.240 And that's pretty sad that we have to wait, but that's what we have.

00:17:15.680 We have a – we elected this president, and now he's doing his damage as fast as he can.

00:17:21.420 And as we're doing – we're talking about the enormity of – and the consequences of this open border policy and this partnership, as you put it, between the Biden administration, the drug cartels, and, of course, all of the organized crime syndicates in the country that want to get rich quickly are there in force.

00:17:50.220 What are we to do here?

00:17:54.080 This administration just seems to be indifferent to the consequences, and we have Republicans like Mitch McConnell leading the Senate who will not even address the issue themselves.

00:18:05.560 Yeah, and I think that's the key here.

00:18:08.900 The Republican Party has to step up to the plate and fight this, speak out on it every possible chance they get, talk to their constituents about it, make the American people aware of it.

00:18:19.680 We're fighting – Texas is fighting everywhere we can.

00:18:21.620 We've got our governor deploying assets.

00:18:24.480 The legislature is spending billions of dollars deploying assets on the border, but we only have so much authority.

00:18:29.420 And then, of course, my office, we've sued the Biden administration over 30 times.

00:18:34.160 Eleven of those are immigration lawsuits.

00:18:35.640 So we're trying to do everything that we know to do, and our people are still frustrated because they want us to take another step, and those next steps are really challenging because they would involve a direct conflict with the federal government.

00:18:49.620 And that's just – you know, that's a pretty far bridge to have to reach.

00:18:54.340 Well, we – the federal government is now in conflict with the American people.

00:18:58.460 I take your point, Attorney General, but the reality is we saw in the raid on Mar-a-Lago, the president's home, under such silly and absolutely absurd pretext.

00:19:14.120 It's just – we're watching right now something this country could not even have imagined, let alone experience, and it's an unprecedented act on the part of Attorney General Garland and this White House, this Marxist-Dem White House, led by an impaired president. 0.52

00:19:34.780 What are we to do?

00:19:35.820 What are your thoughts?

00:19:37.000 What are your reactions to that raid?

00:19:39.400 So my reaction is, I think, what a lot of Americans thought.

00:19:42.900 It's unprecedented.

00:19:43.620 We've never seen the Department of Justice and the FBI go this far.

00:19:47.260 We know that the FBI just – and the Department of Justice, there's a lot of corruption and that they do politically target parents who speak out at school board meetings.

00:19:56.180 They said they were doing that.

00:19:57.140 They put together a task force to take on parents who would exercise First Amendment rights under the U.S. Constitution.

00:20:04.500 They've gone after other politicians.

00:20:06.080 They've gone after me.

00:20:06.860 The reality is we have a very weaponized FBI and DOJ, and they're pretty confident that they can do whatever they want, and no one will stop them.

00:20:17.220 And I know for a fact, just having tried to do it myself, investigate the FBI and Department of Justice, they turn the tables on you, and suddenly you end up in trouble.

00:20:24.440 And you're the one that's doing something wrong.

00:20:27.720 That's why it's so challenging, because they know that they can get away with anything, and there's really – unless Congress steps in and starts investigating this, and then we have a new president that goes in and cleans house, we're going to have real problems.

00:20:41.100 Because we're getting very close to what they experience in other countries that are more totalitarian, like Russia and China.

00:20:48.100 We're getting very close, and China seems to be the model here, the alignment, if you will, between Biden and Xi Jinping is very real.

00:21:00.900 The relationship with the Biden family and China is documented, the corruption. 0.88

00:21:06.260 But this president is shipping a million barrels of oil to the communist Chinese when prices are sky high for gasoline, and he's pulling it right out of the strategic petroleum reserves of the United States and does so in broad daylight, fully in everyone's face.

00:21:25.100 It's extraordinary that he gives exemptions to certain oligarchs that just happen to have done business with a Biden crime family, and no one says a word in the national media.

00:21:39.880 It goes on and on.

00:21:41.640 And I think that – and I will say this – for those Americans who are just catching up to the level of the threat to this great republic, the enormity of it is – it's utterly incomprehensible.

00:21:55.100 Because it's literally the entire federal government arrayed against the citizens of this country.

00:22:03.340 There's no doubt, and we're going to definitely see this.

00:22:05.460 We've already seen it when they didn't go after the Clintons for what they did.

00:22:09.180 They didn't go after – they're not really going after the Bidens for what they've done.

00:22:12.300 And, of course, you know, they're doing what they can to go after Republican leaders.

00:22:16.680 And we're also going to see a massive change on middle class of America when they double the size of the IRS and they send more agents to basically sick the American people and create a huge problem for the middle class.

00:22:30.960 That is going to be another devastating thing for Americans who are used to their freedom and not being investigated the rest of their lives.

00:22:41.520 87,000 IRS agents to be hired.

00:22:45.880 All the taxpayer expense, and they're going to be packing pistols and AR-15s, I suppose.

00:22:51.940 Well, they say they are.

00:22:53.160 Point blank.

00:22:53.820 So you're going to have armed FBI agents.

00:22:58.580 You're going to have armed IRS agents.

00:23:01.520 And, by the way, I don't know how many other law enforcement agencies there are sprinkled throughout the federal government, but it's a huge number.

00:23:08.640 The American people better understand.

00:23:10.800 We right now are a surveillance state, and we are teetering on becoming a police state.

00:23:16.980 And I don't think there should be anyone who doesn't understand that is the reality we face right now.

00:23:23.820 Do you agree?

00:23:25.000 No, totally.

00:23:26.220 We are a police state.

00:23:27.780 And if you're an enemy of the Biden administration, you could find yourself in jail.

00:23:32.380 You could find yourself being investigated.

00:23:34.460 They will, if you'll remember, it was Stalin's secret police chief that said, show me the man, and I'll show you the crime. 0.80

00:23:40.840 And that's what the FBI does now.

00:23:42.660 That's what the Department of Justice does now.

00:23:44.000 And people need to realize that it can happen to the president.

00:23:47.140 It can happen to me.

00:23:47.800 It can happen to other leaders.

00:23:50.160 It can happen to any American.

00:23:52.640 And they have so much arrogance right now.

00:23:55.180 They think they can get away with anything, and they may be right.

00:23:58.360 I don't doubt for a moment that that is what they believe.

00:24:03.540 And in believing it, they're not being irrational because their experience tells them there is nothing they can't get away with.

00:24:10.960 We look back through the entire Obama administration, much of the Clinton administration, and they've proved that case over and over.

00:24:21.920 And you, I believe, are absolutely right, Mr. Attorney General, when you say that this is all of this, the outcome rides on these upcoming midterm elections.

00:24:32.880 We're less than three months away now to November 8th.

00:24:37.000 I know you're in a battle there in Texas.

00:24:40.480 Give us a sense of your campaign and what you expect to be the result for the Republican Party come November.

00:24:50.040 Look, I think, you know, basically we've got a race between Beto O'Rourke and Governor Abbott that the governor should handily win, especially given how unpopular Joe Biden is.

00:24:59.840 But I'm still not convinced, especially given the fact that our own Court of Criminal Appeals has struck down the laws that have been around since 1951, authorizing the attorney general to go after voter fraud.

00:25:10.660 I'm not convinced that we're not going to be dealing with voter fraud in Texas and a lot of other places.

00:25:14.860 I don't care what the media says.

00:25:15.980 I know for a fact that they tried to do in Texas what they did in Georgia and what they did in Pennsylvania.

00:25:21.400 We fought it off with 12 lawsuits, but now they've disabled me, and they've done it geniusly with a Republican Court of Appeals that no one knows that has a final say on criminal matters in Texas.

00:25:33.180 So we've got some severe risk going into the election, but I do know this.

00:25:37.800 If they don't cheat, we win.

00:25:39.460 If they cheat, we've got other problems.

00:25:41.920 Yeah, and they're going to cheat.

00:25:43.380 We know they're going to cheat.

00:25:44.760 There's just no way they would not.

00:25:46.060 They succeeded in 2020 in stealing elections.

00:25:51.480 Why would they not?

00:25:52.560 Because very little has been done to put up any kind of defense in most states.

00:25:59.480 Well, I can tell you this.

00:26:00.580 We put up a defense.

00:26:01.480 Our legislature passed good legislation, but we have a Court of Criminal Appeals.

00:26:04.640 We have a bifurcated system.

00:26:06.800 We have a text Supreme Court that deals with their final appeal on civil matters.

00:26:11.380 But the Court of Criminal Appeals is nine members, all Republican.

00:26:13.920 They voted 8-1 to strike.

00:26:16.300 They did it December 15th, two days after their filing deadline, to follow a run against any of them, to put in place something that had never been put in place by the legislature, but striking down a statute put in place by the legislature 70 years ago with lots of precedents.

00:26:30.340 It said, I don't have the authority as attorney general because I'm in the executive branch.

00:26:34.140 I'm not allowed to go into court, according to them, because it's a violation of separation of powers, which means the attorney general can't go into court anymore on criminal matters because they say it's illegal now. 0.82

00:26:44.020 That's ridiculous. 0.75

00:26:45.240 And I think it was planned. 0.97

00:26:46.660 And I think it was planned because now we have DAs who are responsible for that.

00:26:50.460 And some of these DAs in the large urban counties like Austin and Houston are aligned with George Soros.

00:26:56.440 My Lord, Ken, this is outrageous.

00:27:00.460 I did not.

00:27:01.240 I was completely unaware of that decision by the criminal appellate court.

00:27:08.460 It's stunning to me that they have the power to do that.

00:27:11.880 Well, so we should have fixed this a long time ago.

00:27:14.540 We should have given concurrent jurisdiction to the attorney general to do all prosecutions.

00:27:20.040 The only concurrent jurisdiction I have was election fraud.

00:27:23.720 And it was a genius move because if you're George Soros, you fund these races for a court of criminal appeals. 0.73

00:27:31.400 You put, quote, Republicans in that nobody knows.

00:27:34.540 I mean, I could ask 100 Republicans to name one member of the court of criminal appeals, and I would get maybe 0.1% that can name one or two.

00:27:43.400 So who knows who they really are, where they came from, who put them there?

00:27:47.060 But I can tell you this.

00:27:48.520 They're not conservative Republicans.

00:27:50.520 They're doing something very dangerous in this state, and they are setting us up to lose elections.

00:27:56.220 And unless the legislature fixes it, which now it's too late to fix before this election, they need to fix it in the upcoming session and hope that we don't lose elections in the fall as a result of this really smart move by George Soros.

00:28:09.860 Well, George Soros has made smart moves across the country.

00:28:14.440 He has now some 75 Soros pro-criminal prosecutors in place.

00:28:22.000 And having never even considered the thought, we find out apparently he controls a criminal appeals court, the criminal appeals court in the state of Texas.

00:28:34.140 You say you don't know who they are.

00:28:37.320 You're the attorney general, and you can't – you don't know these people.

00:28:43.080 You know nothing of their background.

00:28:44.640 I know a couple of – but look, most of us don't deal with criminal matters.

00:28:49.160 We've got this bifurcated court, and most people don't think they'll ever have to deal with criminal court of appeals because they're not going to be criminals.

00:28:57.300 They're not going to have criminal charges brought against them.

00:28:59.040 So these guys get elected mostly by the district attorneys.

00:29:03.240 They're the ones that fund the races for court of criminal appeals.

00:29:05.700 They're the ones that know what is going on.

00:29:07.920 And the reality is the district attorneys have gotten more and more liberal, and the big counties are more and more controlled by George Soros, and you can pick almost every big county in the state of Texas is controlled by George Soros.

00:29:18.440 And now it's supposedly their responsibility to prosecute voter fraud.

00:29:21.740 I ask you this.

00:29:22.920 Do you really think the Travis County DA in Austin is going to prosecute voter fraud?

00:29:26.760 I do not.

00:29:27.340 I don't think it's going to happen in Houston, Dallas.

00:29:29.020 It doesn't take that many votes in these big counties to change our state, and all they have to do is they have to do it one time, and we lose.

00:29:37.440 We're never getting it back because then they'll never fix the law. 0.95

00:29:41.260 Well, I feel doubly stupid for not knowing this. 0.88

00:29:46.040 When did they make this ruling? 0.98

00:29:48.880 So they did this.

00:29:50.000 So we were all running.

00:29:51.380 We all had filing deadlines to run.

00:29:53.540 And there's a month period from November 13th to December 13th that if you're a Republican, you file.

00:30:00.240 Well, so everybody had to file, including of the nine members of the Court of Crown Fills, they have six-year terms.

00:30:05.820 So every two years, three of them are up.

00:30:07.880 They waited until two days after the filing deadlines, and no one could file.

00:30:11.800 And they issued this extreme opinion that they changed the law.

00:30:15.500 They struck down this statute that's been in place for over 70 years.

00:30:18.320 And I've tried to talk about it, but I can tell you this.

00:30:20.480 The media doesn't cover it.

00:30:21.520 They don't want to cover it.

00:30:22.580 But it's been just hush, hush, hush.

00:30:25.540 I talk about it every chance I get.

00:30:27.660 So some of the grassroots in Texas know about it.

00:30:29.820 But for the most part, the media has just buried it because they know that this is probably, in my opinion, it's the worst court decision I've ever seen in my life.

00:30:39.100 And it will have the most impact if we do not find a way to fix it before it's too late.

00:30:44.960 Soros, the courts, and the prosecutors.

00:30:47.640 This man, you know, it's an interesting thing.

00:30:50.460 He is so confident now.

00:30:52.020 He once bullied every, imagine this, billionaire, owner of a media company.

00:30:59.520 If you said his name, you're going to hear about it from your management, your owners, in some fashion.

00:31:05.320 You know, now people are really actually talking about George Soros and his influence over the political system.

00:31:11.380 That is really fundamental because it's really influence over the legal system, which means he wins in any conflict wherever that jurisdiction, you know, is.

00:31:22.960 In Texas, give me, if you will, your best thought about what will be the result in November.

00:31:33.340 So, if we have fair elections, I think that the Republicans will win by about 8 or 9 percent.

00:31:41.420 And I think that there's no way that Beto can overcome his history and people knowing about his history.

00:31:47.300 And, you know, my opponent's unknown, so she's not going to move the needle.

00:31:53.060 The only question is, are they going to cheat?

00:31:55.300 And which race is they going to cheat in? 0.52

00:31:57.820 And if we can beat that somehow, if we get another chance to fix this, which I really pray that we do, you know, they're not going to win Texas for a long time.

00:32:07.780 Well, from your lips to God's ears, and we'll be pulling for you, I can assure you of that, Mr. Attorney General.

00:32:17.180 We thank you for being with us here today.

00:32:19.960 We appreciate your time and all that you're doing for the great state of Texas and for the nation.

00:32:25.280 Thanks so much.

00:32:26.320 Well, thank you, Louie.

00:32:27.440 I appreciate you having me on.

00:32:29.560 Attorney General Ken Paxton, and now another great American, Pastor Robert Jeffress,

00:32:34.580 a great pastor, inspiration of his congregation, all who hear and see him on all of his radio and television broadcasts, his many books,

00:32:43.780 and we are pleased to say who hear him on the Great America Show.

00:32:47.860 Pastor, great to have you with us.

00:32:50.820 Great to be back with you, Lou.

00:32:53.280 Pastor, I want to start with an issue right now, illegal immigrants. 1.00

00:32:58.720 President Biden just said, you know, that they can't do much about it.

00:33:02.880 They've got, we've got, by some estimates, as few as 2 million illegal immigrants who have entered the country illegally,

00:33:09.540 just since he took office, not even two years.

00:33:14.980 Other estimates put that number somewhere between 4 and 6 million people have entered the country in that period of time.

00:33:21.520 Your reactions?

00:33:23.320 Well, you know, I think most people have this stereotype idea that Christians ought to be people who don't honor borders.

00:33:30.180 We ought to open the borders, let everybody come in. 1.00

00:33:33.260 That is not God's plan.

00:33:35.040 God is the one who ordained that we live in nations, and nations, to be a nation, have to have boundaries.

00:33:41.360 They have to have borders.

00:33:43.040 And this lawless behavior that Joe Biden and his ilk are condoning to allow people to come with unfettered access into our country is totally anti-biblical.

00:33:54.280 And, Lou, we've seen a lot in the news about what Governor DeSantis and Governor Abbott are doing, and people say, oh, that's so horrible that they would, you know, send people to Martha's Vineyard.

00:34:04.360 Look, they're not sending them to Siberia.

00:34:06.880 They're sending them to a good place.

00:34:09.060 There's nothing wrong with that.

00:34:10.520 And these lawless governors, these lawless mayors of sanctuary cities, which is actually a lawless city, a lawless state, they ought to be made to feel the consequences of their unbiblical, godless actions in not guarding our borders.

00:34:27.380 You know, I get a kick out of it, Pastor. 0.72

00:34:29.600 The left goes nuts.

00:34:31.800 A few years ago, illegal immigrants were being held in cells and detained, and they were just having a fit about all of that.

00:34:42.840 It was cruel and humane treatment.

00:34:46.740 And then they would refer to them as cages.

00:34:50.100 And now here we are with 50 to 100 illegal immigrants being chosen to be sent to Martha's Vineyard, which is a rich person's playground, certainly, and also the president's very own hometown.

00:35:07.820 They're in Delaware.

00:35:09.440 They're shipping 100 of them in there, and people are protesting.

00:35:12.840 It's just, my goodness.

00:35:15.620 But the left is just as upset about that as they were.

00:35:20.100 Holding them in detention cells. 0.97

00:35:22.520 There's so much hypocrisy and ignorance surrounding it. 0.98

00:35:25.780 And what I worry about is just the intelligence of the left, because they've decided that we're dumb enough, we're going to put up with their annex and buy into it. 0.99

00:35:36.000 Well, you're exactly right, Lou. 0.88

00:35:37.960 And look, as a Christian, I mean, I wouldn't condone mistreating migrants, even illegal migrants, but they're not being mistreated.

00:35:45.560 They're going to a much better place than they were coming from, whether it is Martha's Vineyard or it ends up being a military base.

00:35:54.080 They are being cared for.

00:35:56.060 And it's just a great thing to show the hypocrisy of these who would want to flaunt our nation's laws.

00:36:02.160 And to Washington, D.C., that's, I think, a cautionary note on sending them there.

00:36:10.860 That's in the swamp.

00:36:12.220 And I'm a little worried about the folks they're sending into New York City, where there's lawlessness beyond measure.

00:36:20.640 It's like Chicago and much of the rest of the country.

00:36:25.060 People are being just walking down the street, acts of violence, it seems like, every day in what was once a great city, that is New York.

00:36:35.580 Could I just say this?

00:36:37.700 Yeah, and could I say this?

00:36:39.380 Governor Abbott is a friend of mine, and he's spoken in our church several times.

00:36:43.940 And he told me a couple of years ago, he said, when we have porous borders, it's doing a disservice to these illegal immigrants.

00:36:51.780 They are being tempted to make a very dangerous journey from Central America to the United States.

00:36:57.900 Many times women and children are abused or even killed along the way.

00:37:02.260 It is unfair to them to create this porous border.

00:37:05.400 And, you know, in law, we have what we call a creative nuisance, a nuisance of convenience, in which if you build a swimming pool and you don't have a fence around it and a child dies, you can be sued because you created this attractive nuisance that lured them in.

00:37:24.520 Well, when we have borders that are unsecured, we're creating an attractive nuisance that really hurts those who are trying to migrate to our country. 0.98

00:37:33.580 I think that's a great point.

00:37:35.400 And as a Christian, as we're watching all of this, we have to take into account what it does to many of our citizens.

00:37:45.500 We're putting those 2 to 5 million illegal immigrants who've come into this country into direct competition with American workers. 0.54

00:37:55.100 And when those people come in, there's a reason corporate America is asking for those illegal immigrants to come in. 1.00

00:38:00.520 And that's because they want to suppress wages and they want to get that labor. 0.50

00:38:05.400 And they don't want to pay for it.

00:38:07.280 There's nothing new about this movie.

00:38:09.700 And the only thing new about it is the unimaginable scale of it all.

00:38:15.320 This is outrageous.

00:38:16.460 And so I have a question.

00:38:19.520 Are ministers, are preachers, pastors all around the country speaking out on this?

00:38:26.560 Because I'm just so delighted that you believe now that it is the time for pastors, our religious leaders, our faith leaders to get involved in politics.

00:38:38.160 Well, there are not many speaking out on it.

00:38:40.800 They're scared to death to speak out on it. 0.71

00:38:43.000 Or frankly, Lou, they're ignorant about what the Bible says about this.

00:38:47.320 That's all I care about.

00:38:48.560 What does the Bible say?

00:38:50.000 And people have, again, this stereotyped idea of wimpy Christianity that never takes a stand for anything.

00:38:56.580 That's not the God of the Bible.

00:38:58.180 He has said, I've ordained the church to do certain things, and I've ordained government to do certain things.

00:39:04.360 Government's not supposed to lead a spiritual revival, but they are supposed to protect our citizens and protect the freedoms of citizens.

00:39:12.460 Well, you know, those are wonderful words, and I think that everyone, you can't get everyone to agree about anything, right, Pastor?

00:39:21.540 But I think most Americans would agree with that, certainly.

00:39:25.760 Let me ask you, let's talk politics here just for a minute.

00:39:30.400 What is your view about what is going on right now?

00:39:33.060 You know, we're watching President Biden say one thing at the United Nations or on 60 Minutes, and then shortly thereafter, out comes some lowly staffer to say, well, the president didn't really mean to say that we'll defend Taiwan.

00:39:53.520 He didn't really mean that about those very nice Russian people. 0.89

00:39:58.920 You know, it's just ridiculous. 0.96

00:40:01.340 Your thoughts? 0.90

00:40:02.060 Biden is an unmitigated disaster for our country, and I think we have a great chance to elect somebody who embraces biblical principles, and I think if President Trump chooses to run, I think he's got just a tremendous record to run on.

00:40:22.060 And the record is not just his record when he was elected in 2016, but I hope he'll run on Joe Biden's record.

00:40:28.680 We need a president like President Trump again who will protect the sanctity of life, who will protect religious liberty, who will protect our citizens as God ordained our citizens to be protected.

00:40:41.340 Now, he, no president had opened up the public square to a religion, as did President Trump. 0.82

00:40:49.800 Are you seeing signs that that is being rolled back by the Marxist Dems who are managing Joe Biden?

00:40:56.540 Absolutely is it being rolled back, and I think there are rogue elements in the Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service that would love to roll back those freedoms.

00:41:07.880 And I'm not just speaking hypothetically, Lou, I know what I'm talking about, and I think every religious organization is in danger right now of losing their tax-exempt status.

00:41:19.600 If they speak out on issues that instead of being labeled biblical issues, the IRS wants to say, well, these are Republican values, and you can't talk about them.

00:41:30.740 And there are attempts being made to do that, and that's why we need a president who understands that freedom of religious expression is not just a freedom.

00:41:40.240 It is the first freedom in the Constitution.

00:41:42.760 Mr. Robert Jeffers, always glad to have you with us.

00:41:47.740 Give us your prediction on the outcome of the election, if you would.

00:41:53.140 Well, I think it's going to be a positive one.

00:41:55.760 I think that the Republicans will take the House.

00:41:59.860 I can't predict what the Senate is going to be, but I think two more years of Joe Biden will guarantee in 2024 that we have a Republican president, and I think you know who I hope that is.

00:42:11.560 I think I do.

00:42:13.860 I think I get the gist of your preferences, as they say.

00:42:19.100 Pastor Robert Jeffers, it is always great to have you with us here on The Great America Show.

00:42:23.980 Thanks so much.

00:42:24.980 Thanks for having me, Lou.

00:42:27.420 Pastor Robert Jeffers, two of his new books we want to recommend to you.

00:42:31.480 The first is entitled 18 Minutes with Jesus, Drawing on the Powerful Messages Within Jesus' Most Famous Sermon, Sermon on the Mount.

00:42:40.680 And the second book, America is a Christian Nation, in which Pastor Jeffers lays out our founders' intention to build this great Christian republic, America.

00:42:52.360 Thanks, everybody, for being with us today.

00:42:55.080 Tomorrow, our guest is Senator Roger Marshall.

00:42:57.880 We hope you'll join us.

00:42:59.460 Till then, God bless you, and may God bless America.

00:43:03.780 Surprisingly, let's see you.

00:43:04.940 Let's see you soon.

00:43:05.160 , OK.
