00:00:00.000 I'm Lou Dobbs with today's update. The Biden regime is accelerating its assault on America.

00:00:06.820 Biden ruling as a despot by executive order, prosecuting his 2024 political opponent for

00:00:12.720 the office he holds illegitimately, throwing the southern border wide open to millions of

00:00:18.080 illegal aliens and deadly drugs, and now President Biden giving away hundreds of millions of taxpayer

00:00:24.060 dollars to his accomplices, giving huge rewards to sanctuary cities. Joe Biden rewarding sanctuary

00:00:30.780 cities and non-government organizations for bringing in, transporting, and placing millions

00:00:36.540 of illegal immigrants. The Biden regime is paying out almost 300 million dollars to support the

00:00:42.240 sanctuary cities and NGOs that harbor the illegal immigrants. Some 34 cities and NGOs will receive 0.69

00:00:49.300 the money among the NGOs or Catholic charities and United Way for their efforts in transporting

00:00:55.840 and resettling the illegals. Senator J.D. Vance standing up against the illegal prosecution of

00:01:02.140 President Trump, vowing to block Joe Biden's DOJ nominees until Merrick Garland stops his harassment

00:01:08.640 of Biden's political opponents. Senator J.D. Vance releasing this message on Twitter.

00:01:15.100 Hey guys, J.D. Vance here. I'm out on the steps of the U.S. Capitol,

00:01:17.920 and I've heard from a lot of people that they're so frustrated, as I am, with the fact that Merrick

00:01:22.920 Garland has used the Department of Justice for politics instead of law, and I think it's a sign

00:01:27.940 we stop just whining about this problem and debating this problem and actually do something

00:01:31.880 about it. So I've announced today that I will be holding all Department of Justice nominees

00:01:36.260 that Merrick Garland will use if confirmed, not to enforce the law impartially, which is his duty,

00:01:42.740 but clearly to harass his political opponents. I think that we have to grind this department to a

00:01:47.460 halt until Merrick Garland promises to do his job and stop going after his political opponents.

00:01:53.960 Donald Trump is just one and the most recent example of the fact that Merrick Garland uses

00:02:00.280 his department for political purposes. We have Catholic fathers harassed for their pro-life activism.

00:02:06.460 We, of course, have violent criminals walking the streets after the 2020 summer of riots. And if

00:02:12.060 you're letting the violent criminals go free and you're harassing Christian parents for their political

00:02:16.460 activism, you're not engaged in justice, you're engaged in politics. Let's be honest about that

00:02:21.320 fact and let's make this department work a little bit more slowly until Merrick Garland changes course

00:02:27.400 and actually does his job the right way. Thanks, guys.

00:02:29.900 A principled act by the freshman senator from Ohio. Please join us today on The Great America Show,

00:02:35.840 our guest, the president of the Article III Project, Mike Davis. Mike says President Trump is an innocent

00:02:42.100 man and will be exonerated. And a reminder to join us each and every weekday for The Great America Show.

00:02:49.020 I'm Lou Dobbs.
