The Great America Show - The Great America Sunday Show： May 11, 2025

00:00:00.000 hello everybody and welcome to the great america show it's great to have you with us on this

00:00:06.280 beautiful tuesday night in america thank you so much for spending it with us here on the great

00:00:10.860 america show president trump hosting the new prime minister carney of canada this afternoon

00:00:16.880 in the oval office and boy it was a fun one so many sound bites to bring you guys so many clips

00:00:21.240 we're going to kick off the show tonight with perhaps one of the funniest president trump

00:00:26.720 sitting there to the prime minister's face telling him we don't want your steel we don't want your

00:00:31.100 cars in fact we don't want anything from canada take a listen truly brilliant truly a brilliant

00:00:35.980 performance for president trump we are the largest client of the united states in in the totality of

00:00:43.460 all the goods so we are the largest client in the united states we have a tremendous auto sector

00:00:48.540 between the two of us and the changes that made have been helpful you know 50 of a car that comes

00:00:54.020 from canada is american that's not like anywhere else in the world um and to your question about

00:00:59.960 is there one thing no this is a bigger discussion there are much bigger forces involved um and and

00:01:07.200 this will take some time and some discussions and that's why we're here to have those discussions and

00:01:11.700 that's that is represented by who's uh sitting around the table the conflict is and and this is

00:01:17.460 very friendly we're we're not this is not going to be like we had another little blow up with somebody

00:01:23.480 else that was a much different this is this is a very friendly conversation but uh we want to make

00:01:29.660 our own cars we don't really want cars from canada and we put tariffs on cars from canada and at a

00:01:37.160 certain point it won't make economic sense for canada to build those cars and we don't want steel from

00:01:43.420 canada because we're making our own steel and we're having massive steel plants being built right

00:01:47.940 now as we speak we really don't want canadian steel and we don't want canadian aluminum and various other

00:01:54.260 things because we want to be able to do it ourself and we because of you know past thinking of people

00:02:01.120 we have a tremendous deficit with canada in other words they have a surplus with us and there's no

00:02:07.880 reason for us to be subsidizing canada canada's uh a place that will have to be able to take care of

00:02:16.000 itself economically uh i assume they can i will tell you that uh trudeau when i spoke to him i used to

00:02:23.640 call him governor trudeau i think that probably didn't help his election but when i spoke to him i

00:02:28.100 said so why are we why are we taking your cars why are we taking your we want to make them ourselves i mean

00:02:34.040 i said and if the price of your cars went up or if we put a tariff if we put a tariff on your cars of

00:02:42.060 twenty five percent what would that mean to you he said that would mean the end of canada he actually

00:02:48.180 said that to me and i said that's a strange answer but i understand his answer but uh no i mean it's it's

00:02:57.120 hard to justify subsidizing canada to the tune of maybe 200 billion dollars a year uh we protect

00:03:05.000 canada militarily and we always will we're gonna you know that's not a money thing that's but we

00:03:10.040 always will but you know it's not fair but why are we subsidizing canada 200 billion dollars a year

00:03:17.400 or whatever the number might be it's a very substantial number and it's hard for the american

00:03:22.000 taxpayer to say gee whiz we love doing that so much to unpack in there uh taking a shot at

00:03:30.180 zelinski some fun there but straight up telling carny we don't want your stuff we don't want to

00:03:35.100 build cars in canada uh we don't want to buy your steel we don't want to buy your aluminum we want

00:03:39.840 to do it right here in america that's what i voted for folks that's what you voted for that's what

00:03:46.820 over 75 million americans voted for we voted for that so when when the democrats the marxists 0.97

00:03:54.080 run buck wild and say he's causing chaos in this country that's what we voted for we voted for a man

00:04:01.100 who put america first on the world stage we voted for a man who cares about the blue collar worker in

00:04:09.180 this country more than he cares about the globalist elites over in davos which they're all they're all

00:04:14.300 going bye-bye uh klaus schwab and the boys the paul ryan's and min romney's of the world the

00:04:19.260 globalists they're all going bye-bye but that's what we voted for folks trump was asked by a reporter

00:04:25.160 is there anything carney can say or do in that moment that would make him lift those tariffs right

00:04:31.140 now on canada take a listen is there anything he could say to you in the course of your meetings

00:04:36.620 within today that would get you to lift tariffs on canada no why not just the way it is that's just

00:04:44.620 the way it is you're the man um you know you're you're not going to get many people like donald trump

00:04:52.000 who will sit there in front of that person and tell it how it is it's just you're not going to get

00:04:59.700 politicians to go ahead and do that we're never going to get another man like donald trump in this

00:05:04.400 country i say it all the time and it breaks my heart to even think about it there is no other

00:05:09.720 man like donald trump there's no man that's going to sit there and tell you straight to your face how

00:05:13.820 it is whether you like it or not the american people we're all on donald trump's side the

00:05:19.400 overwhelming majority at least of us who care about this country who care about the longevity of it who

00:05:23.840 care about the longevity of our children now i don't have any children but maybe one day i will have

00:05:28.800 children my nieces my nephews if i have grandchildren if i you know and so on and so forth that's what

00:05:35.780 it's all about i've chosen my path i'm a journalist this is what i'm going to do until the day i die

00:05:40.740 presumably so you know i'm not a blue collar worker and you know it was the path i chose not to

00:05:47.400 take but i respect those people those blue collar workers who wake up every morning and they go do

00:05:52.700 their blue collar jobs whether it be a mechanic a plumber and electrician i respect those people a hell of a

00:05:57.780 lot more than i respect any politician in this country with the exception of donald trump of course

00:06:02.200 uh any person on wall street because those are the people that truly built this country and it's a

00:06:07.040 message i think that gets lost so much uh throughout the course of things everyone looks at lawyers and

00:06:12.460 doctors and yeah we need those in society too but we also need our policemen we also need our firemen

00:06:18.160 we need our sanitation we need our construction workers our laborers our people who build infrastructure

00:06:23.200 our people who build the homes that we live in uh the people who build the roads that we drive on

00:06:28.760 the cars that we drive everything every facet of life um that we walk on is done by blue collar wage

00:06:37.760 by blue collar workers and i think it's a lot of we look past a lot of it um in this country um especially

00:06:45.520 the globalist elites and that's what donald trump is protecting that's what donald trump is fighting for

00:06:49.580 it's the reason why he has overwhelming majority support in this last election from unions even

00:06:55.280 still to this day uh teamsters president sean o'brien was on fox news earlier today and he supports

00:07:01.680 president trump in this tariff fight even the latest tariff fight against tariffs on movies not being made

00:07:07.860 in america take a listen i think uh these tariffs and the most recent moves especially within the

00:07:13.180 uh motion picture industry uh is relevant to what we do every day we represent hundreds of thousands

00:07:19.140 of people in this industry who went on strike against these big corporations still even though the

00:07:24.540 strikes over still have been put back to work but they're sending movies uh and productions over to

00:07:29.740 paris based on new york why aren't they bringing paris to new york and there's a reason for it because

00:07:36.000 these greedy uh corporations get cheaper rates over in uh europe and and all these foreign nations

00:07:43.180 and we're suffering for it and the threat from all these corporations and these film studios is

00:07:48.440 well we'll just pass the cost on to the consumer no i got a better idea tariff them make them work

00:07:54.380 in the united states and take a little bit less off your bottom line yeah pass it on to the consumer

00:08:00.380 has anyone been to a movie theater recently in america and i love going to movies alamo draft house

00:08:06.260 and amc are two of my favorites especially the ones that you can recline and order food and

00:08:09.880 and a beverage and adult beverage the seats those are the best but when's the last time you went to a

00:08:14.880 movie theater think about it and and when you did go think about if you can remember how packed that

00:08:20.320 place was they're dying it's a dying business in america so as sean o'brien put it so brilliantly

00:08:25.700 these guys just say pass on to the consumer where's the consumer people aren't buying blu-rays anymore

00:08:31.380 people aren't watching movies anymore when was the last time a james bond film was made if you think

00:08:36.720 about it one of the greatest uh film uh production um production films in the history of this country

00:08:44.120 harry potter another one uh we go down a list there's a lot of them but james bond arguably in my opinion

00:08:49.500 one of the best film franchises in in america uh and not in america but in uh history they haven't made

00:08:57.480 a film it's a dying business and donald trump's absolutely right i don't understand it it bottles

00:09:03.180 my mind how people do not support this man how hollywood does not support this man he has all

00:09:10.200 the people's backs that can't stand him that go against him he's got the backs of the people here

00:09:16.260 in new york the people in california who voted overwhelmingly against him hollywood they hate his

00:09:21.300 guts some of them cheering for him to be assassinated yet it doesn't bother him he wants to do what's right

00:09:29.680 for everybody even if there is a small majority or a small minority or even a majority in some

00:09:35.060 industries and businesses that can't stand him he doesn't care he does it for the american people

00:09:41.600 if that doesn't tell you everything you need to know about the man you know i don't have to preach

00:09:45.900 to you guys you guys are very smart chances are if you're tuning into us you probably voted for

00:09:50.940 donald trump or support him in one capacity or another but it's just a general consensus i think

00:09:56.500 of what's going on in america right now and donald trump is doing all he can for the american people

00:10:00.880 and you know i say every day there uh there is some brunt we're gonna have to bear with the economy

00:10:06.140 and the markets but it's just a hiccup it's just a speed bump give the guy some time remember for four

00:10:12.000 years we dealt with joe biden we could deal with this for six months to a year and then we could have

00:10:17.340 the conversation if things don't get better by that so as i say give it six months give it a year

00:10:21.860 and then we'll revisit this issue uh there are some rhinos still in congress senators some up for 0.77

00:10:29.660 reelection in 2026 one of them tom tillis another one john cornyn they're having a big issue tillis

00:10:36.800 refuses to support ed martin who's the u.s attorney of the acting u.s attorney of washington dc he's up

00:10:43.640 to be the actual u.s attorney but he has to be confirmed in the next two weeks or judge james

00:10:48.480 bozberg will get to a point in his replacement but rhino tom tillis of north carolina i'm going to

00:10:56.040 give you his phone number not his personal phone number his office phone number uh 202-224-6342

00:11:03.660 write it down and i'm going to tell you what he's doing 202-224-6342 tillis is refusing to support

00:11:12.120 ed martin because of january 6th and ed martin speaking out against that 1512c charge that was

00:11:19.200 used to overcharge january 6th was with that bs obstruction charge that the supreme court said was

00:11:24.740 unconstitutional yet tom tillis has an issue with the january 6thers take a listen to a to an interview

00:11:32.980 he did today outside of a committee room on capitol hill he is uh i don't believe he's being advanced

00:11:38.300 to the markup um and uh i met with mr martin uh he seems like a good man um most of my concerns

00:11:46.020 related to january 6th and uh and he built a compelling case on some of the 1512 prosecutions

00:11:53.060 that were probably um key to the moment bad decisions but uh where we probably uh have a

00:12:00.100 difference is i think anybody that reached the perimeter should have been in prison for some

00:12:03.820 period of time whether it's 30 days or three years is debatable but i have no tolerance for anybody

00:12:09.100 who entered the building on january the 6th and that's probably where most of the friction was

00:12:13.320 i see so he disagreed with you on that well now i have to say that mr martin did a good job of 0.98

00:12:18.300 explaining how uh there were people that probably got caught up in it but they made the stupid decision 0.68

00:12:25.600 to come through a building that had been breached and that the police officers and others were saying 0.80

00:12:30.360 stay away so the difference wasn't that they should be charged in my estimation it's by how much

00:12:36.320 that's an argument i'm willing to have but we have to be very very clear that what happened on january

00:12:41.560 the 6th was wrong it wasn't uh it was not prompted or created by other people to put those people in 0.89

00:12:50.260 trouble they made a stupid decision and they disgraced the united states but by absolutely destroying 0.70

00:12:56.620 the capital and i can't have any patience it sounds like your concerns were not but let me be very 0.99

00:13:01.540 clear though mr martin did a good job of explaining the one area that i think he's probably right that

00:13:07.780 there were some people that were over prosecuted but there were some two or three hundred of them

00:13:13.260 that should have never gotten a uh uh pardon and he agreed with that um but the disagreement there

00:13:21.640 had more to do if mr martin were uh being put forth as a u.s attorney for any district except

00:13:27.300 the district where january 6 happened the the protest happened i'd probably support him but not

00:13:32.760 in this district when you said he's not being advanced to the markup was he operating under that

00:13:37.020 understanding that he's not being advanced through well i think mr martin i'm sure they're looking

00:13:41.380 through it i mean be clear some of the deadline has to do with the length of time he can operate

00:13:46.360 his acting and the administration can work through that if they want to um uh to have more time and

00:13:51.980 potentially work them through uh but at this point i've indicated to the white house i wouldn't

00:13:55.660 support his nomination that man is a total rhino and guess what folks he's up for re-election in 0.74

00:14:05.640 2026 so if you live in north carolina um it's time to reconsider it's time to reconsider you want to

00:14:13.260 be a rhino on something this big ed martin is going after matthew graves the rogue prosecutor who went

00:14:19.600 after these january 6s with that absurd charge 202-224-6342-202-224-6342 is the office number for

00:14:31.300 tom tillis give him a call and tell him you support ed martin you heard tillis talk about

00:14:38.360 breaching the perimeter and the officers when it was locked down how about the officers who

00:14:44.820 welcomed the people in all the videos we saw of the officers telling people come on in come on in

00:14:49.780 come on in and we're not to question uh the involvement of the government they couldn't even

00:14:58.040 tell us how many informed agents were there sending informed agents to incite a riot 0.98

00:15:03.520 tom tillis is a despicable human being total loser and a total rhino north carolina you folks know 0.98

00:15:10.600 what you've got to do get that man that heck out of there and move on with someone who's a republican 0.99

00:15:16.360 same thing in south carolina with lindsey graham lady g has got to go the u.s supreme court today folks 1.00

00:15:22.360 this is breaking issuing a massive win for donald trump and his administration yet again it's win

00:15:30.180 after win after win after win the marxist dems are losing they can use whatever courts they want

00:15:35.080 whatever low courts they want to use they can use the appeals court which is where they've been going

00:15:39.840 constantly where they go visit those same marxist liberal judges appointed by obama the same judges

00:15:47.880 clinton appointee the obama appointee and the biden appointee they can keep going to get their

00:15:54.380 temporary injunctions but we got a big one for you today folks the supreme court this afternoon has

00:15:59.680 allowed the trump administration's transgender ban on the military to take effect the supreme court

00:16:06.620 stayed the lower court's opinion and their preliminary injunction on the transgender ban

00:16:11.020 pending an appeal in the ninth circuit court of appeals that's that same one that i just told you about

00:16:15.660 where you got the clinton appointee the bush appointee and the uh the biden appointee and the obama

00:16:21.600 appointee wallace tashima the clinton appointee john owens the obama appointee

00:16:26.740 and rapuli decide the biden appointee um three radical marxist the high court made the six three

00:16:35.240 decision i'm sure you can guess the three judge uh sotomayor kagan and jackson denied the application

00:16:42.620 but there are in the minority on this uh thanks to amy coney barrett finally getting it right for once

00:16:49.460 kavanaugh finally getting it right for once john roberts the other three by the way neil gorsuch

00:16:55.600 was perhaps the best pick uh administration cabinet member supreme court pick i think possible it's a

00:17:02.420 man who knows the constitution it's a man who's a constitutionalist who knows the rule of law and

00:17:07.320 upholds the rule of law um coney barrett hasn't really been there for truth justice in the american way

00:17:15.900 in my opinion um we could agree to disagree but uh the facts are there and she hasn't been reliant

00:17:22.040 folks our guest today is the former of 33rd or he's a former sheriff of la county the 33rd sheriff

00:17:29.020 of la county sheriff alex villanueva villanueva uh spent four years as the sheriff from 2018 to 2022

00:17:36.180 and was eventually pushed out lost an election from the marxist uh left villanueva was never really

00:17:43.740 a marxist dem in my opinion during covid he denied the vaccine mandates for his people smart man right

00:17:50.960 you get rid of half of your workforce because they didn't want to take a vaccine um and was never a

00:17:56.640 tyrant like you'd get from a normal marxist dem but this week he decided to change it he was tired of 0.54

00:18:02.220 what he says are the blue haired liberals and the marxist dems who ruin his country and he's decided to 0.95

00:18:07.840 join the republican party he's our guest today a good man i've known him for some time a good american

00:18:13.100 and uh an overall warrior for a state that doesn't deserve and i don't mean it in the sense of the

00:18:21.420 good people that live there but the politicians who have ruined the state of california

00:18:25.460 alex it's great to have you with us on the great america show i really appreciate you joining us

00:18:35.100 uh you've made some news lately you announced uh this week that you've left the party of uh marxists

00:18:41.940 and blue haired uh people who support crime welcome to the republican party first of all

00:18:47.700 uh 44 years as a democrat first i gotta ask you what the heck took you so long

00:18:52.700 well you know what as is reagan once said back in the 60s i didn't leave the party the party left me

00:18:59.980 and he did probably didn't just leave me and all they did when i was in office as sheriff they made

00:19:05.720 my life as difficult as possible it's what they've done to california what they've done to la every 0.98

00:19:12.420 single thing the democratic party has touched in california has turned to shit i mean hands down 0.95

00:19:18.700 you look at pick your topic homelessness hey we're the capital of homelessness in the entire nation 0.99

00:19:23.940 and we spent dozens of billions of dollars on it and the problem gets bigger and bigger

00:19:29.800 you look at crime prop 47 hey you know what crime is punishment and to arrest people is racist so

00:19:37.260 let's not do these things and what happened now we're the nation's retail theft capital

00:19:41.880 you know you go oh regulation let's keep taxing people raising the tax we're the highest

00:19:47.280 tax state in the nation and we have the worst outcome possible so they're on the wrong track for

00:19:54.280 absolutely everything and that's what happens we have a one-party state like california

00:19:58.780 we need to get back to uh moderation centrist centrist we need to get more republican representation

00:20:06.380 across the state and we have a fighting chance only if we get that balance yeah you're absolutely right

00:20:13.280 it's not just republicans too it's democrats even when you were a democrat i was joking with you before

00:20:20.020 the show you weren't really as what i call on this show a marxist democrat i think you were um

00:20:25.780 you know ideological ideologically set in certain things that made sense you didn't enforce vaccine

00:20:33.100 mandates on your officers when you were uh the sheriff uh that's that was a massive massive break

00:20:39.660 between republicans and democrats back in 2020 there were certain things that you were doing you had

00:20:44.060 enough i think probably around the 2020 time you it seemed to me that you had seen enough i'd followed

00:20:50.740 you for a very long time in the work that you've done because california seemingly has a lot of

00:20:55.620 issues and uh it's funny to have you on here my biggest audience on this show about 15 of the

00:21:00.800 audience on this show is in california right now based out of california so it's funny to see that

00:21:06.780 uh you know such a blue state is where most of my audience comes from i don't think the people there

00:21:12.480 are inherently uh democrat i think it's what they've been attuned to believe and taught for many years

00:21:19.280 and that's what they continue to do that is very true but when i took office in 2018 i was elected to

00:21:26.880 be sheriff it's a non-partisan office to begin with and my job was to call the balls and strikes i didn't

00:21:32.880 care who was pitching or who was batting that was my job enforce the law and advance the public's interest

00:21:40.100 and most of the time that was opposing the insane initiatives of the democratic party that has

00:21:46.960 absolute control over county government to the detriment of all of county residents

00:21:52.640 yeah it's it's a shame too because it's i i say this all the time california is the most beautiful

00:21:58.060 state in this country but the problem is is like you said the homeless issue the the the crime issue

00:22:03.720 there was a joke running around during 2020 where it's cheaper for you to get on a flight from a

00:22:09.640 blue a red state go to california rob a thousand dollars worth of goods because you won't get in

00:22:14.800 trouble for it and get back on a plane and go where you come from but it wasn't just a joke because it

00:22:20.180 was the reality of it time and time again you see these videos on social media you were in the heart

00:22:24.860 of it how do we get to this point this this crossroads in america where there's no more right and wrong

00:22:32.420 it's it's wrong and it in turn it's right in the eyes of marxists well that's part of the ideology 1.00

00:22:39.660 of the democratic party they believe that criminals are actually not criminals they're victims they're

00:22:45.140 victims of a racist capitalist society and they're downtrodden and they're going to be the white saviors 0.99

00:22:51.520 and they're going to liberate them so no more handcuffs no more yeah they call it incarceration

00:22:57.380 model it's punitive and you can't get well in a cell oh they have all these things let's close

00:23:03.320 the prisons let's close the jails we'll all sir you know gather around the campfire and sing kumbaya

00:23:08.960 and that is a nonsense of the democratic party right now yeah but how do we so how do we get more people

00:23:15.720 like you how do we get out of this issue california with karen bass who's the mayor of mayor of los 0.93

00:23:21.220 angeles and i mean just a total buffoon who can't seem to run the place can't seem to get it together

00:23:27.120 gavin newsom can't balance a budget you guys are running yet another deficit go figure this year 0.96

00:23:32.440 two billion dollars three billion dollars four billion dollars like it's nothing uh i mean when

00:23:37.720 can the people and how can the people of california wake up and realize we cannot sustain this anymore

00:23:44.560 well i'm gonna give you three figures it's gonna it'll blow your mind the la city budget in 2011

00:23:51.960 was five billion and change fast forward to 2025 almost 15 billion la county budget in 2011

00:24:03.860 was 22 billion fast forward to 25 48 billion you see a trend here state budget in 2011

00:24:13.300 99 no 86 billion fast forward to today 300 billion so in 14 years they've more than doubled in some

00:24:23.100 cases tripled their budget county workforce la county government 82 000 employees in 2000

00:24:31.300 they added 42 they grew by 42 percent of county workers and in today 117 000 county workers the largest

00:24:42.060 employer in all of california and then they don't have enough fire fighters to fight fires they don't

00:24:51.080 have cops to evacuate people so people burn to death in their homes you don't have the doctors you don't

00:24:57.180 have the nurses to care for all the ill but boy do you have this growing crowd of bureaucrats that gets 1.00

00:25:03.020 bigger and bigger and bigger so my question to you as a man who's seen budgets as a man who's proposed budgets as a man

00:25:15.100 who's had to to submit what he needs money for where's that money going the homeless industrial complex is eating most of it

00:25:23.760 i can tell you that a big chunk of county government now they're trying to destroy and eliminate the probation department

00:25:31.340 they're trying to shrink the sheriff's department and they're creating new departments handle this

00:25:37.420 they've created the just uh justice care and opportunities department

00:25:43.840 talk about an orwellian name they got another the department of youth development

00:25:50.300 wait a minute i thought i'm paying half of my property taxes for school right why is the county

00:25:56.760 using my money to create a department of youth development what on earth is going on here

00:26:02.420 when i took office in 2018 i inherited 101 million dollar deficit that was my starting point

00:26:10.040 i finished office with a 74 million dollar surplus and i did that and throughout that time period

00:26:17.420 i got defunded by over a quarter of a billion dollars had my my hiring frozen service supply budget

00:26:25.240 frozen they did everything possible to screw with the sheriff's department budget but what they couldn't

00:26:30.620 stop is deputies doing their job yeah and you were probably one of the few people in that job in that

00:26:36.200 office in that uh territory to to never face any sort of corruption charge or anything like that

00:26:42.140 uh it's also worth noting alex that you were the first uh man in a hundred years to unseat an

00:26:48.680 incumbent sheriff so the people resonate with you the people like you uh and they understand where

00:26:54.200 you're coming from you know i realized there was a problem alex i was in vegas a few months ago and

00:26:58.860 i'm sitting at a blackjack table and i'm i'm talking with these this couple a husband and wife and

00:27:04.700 they're from california and i don't talk politics right away i hate talking to when i'm not working

00:27:09.520 right because i live it i breathe it i talk about every day i don't want to make more enemies in

00:27:13.920 person than i need to and i'm talking with this couple and where i don't bring up politics at all

00:27:19.100 and they ask me about something and i answer and they say oh you're a fox news republican and i'm like

00:27:24.080 well i don't even watch fox news number one uh so then i figured out they were democrats so i start

00:27:29.640 talking about the wildfires and a buddy of mine sitting at the table says to this couple you know if we

00:27:34.660 didn't give a billion dollars to ukraine maybe you guys could have put the fires out and this

00:27:39.680 couple went berserk it doesn't matter if we gave them the money or not it wouldn't have mattered

00:27:44.440 with the fires you know where those fires were they were up in the hills you can't get water up

00:27:48.760 there and i stopped and i looked at these people and i said we put a man on the moon how many years

00:27:53.480 ago we've got elon musk sending uh rockets everywhere we're going to be going to mars in the next few

00:27:59.640 years you're telling me that something that was created hundreds of years ago called a pump 1.00

00:28:04.720 couldn't pump water up into the hills are you that stupid are you that ignorant but that's the mindset 1.00

00:28:10.380 alex of these people and i and i feel for them for the people who have to deal with the brunt of how 1.00

00:28:16.060 these people vote but that's the mindset of these people and these are people who are paying 50 60

00:28:22.000 a hundred thousand dollars a year in property taxes and they sit back and they say that's fine you can

00:28:28.080 you can piss on my leg and tell me it's raining just leave me alone well i'll tell you what the 0.89

00:28:33.580 eaten fires alone you know you had the palestines and the eaten fires they both are happy roughly at 0.97

00:28:38.360 the same time i think they were a day apart when they started in the eaten fire they had no evacuation

00:28:44.940 cat plan they had no contingency plan and when the fires broke out it was the deputies on the ground

00:28:52.060 that figured hey we're gonna have to start getting people out of their homes the elderly disabled 1.00

00:28:56.320 the senior homes they had 18 people burned to death in altadena alone the sheriff was nowhere to be

00:29:04.780 found and it was the deputies on their own that risked everything to get as many people out as

00:29:10.080 possible and that was an absolute collapse of county government where was the office of emergency

00:29:15.620 management and then you start peeling back the layers of the onion back in 2020 they removed me as

00:29:21.840 director of emergency management when i was a sheriff you weren't corrupt enough huh i wasn't corrupt

00:29:26.740 enough and they replaced me with a county ceo and what does a county ceo do nothing fine she won 1.00

00:29:34.060 nothing and they know nothing let's create another committee so we'll have a management by committee

00:29:39.460 which he knows the worst thing possible in a crisis needed someone in charge to say hey let's go here

00:29:44.520 let's go let's do this executive decisions nothing like that happened so what you had is chaos and 0.92

00:29:50.540 people ended up dying because of bureaucratic decisions by this inept and corrupt board of

00:29:56.120 supervisors it's a shame and you know what the the bureaucrats and and the process of it all is

00:30:03.200 you know let's do this okay let's run up the chain it's got to run back up it's got to run back down and

00:30:07.760 left and right it's like nobody can make an executive decision anymore and say no this is what we're doing

00:30:13.500 we're gonna do this we're gonna do this and watching those videos watching the horses people's

00:30:17.500 horses being locked up burning to death the people burning that it was disgusting and the

00:30:21.960 the worst part about it all alex is it was all preventable donald trump has been talking about

00:30:27.380 this for years and they laughed at him the wildlife cleanup the cleanup of california the cleanup of the 1.00

00:30:32.860 brush and they laughed at him they said he doesn't know what he's talking about he's an idiot he's from 0.99

00:30:37.040 new york they laughed at him they joked they joked they talked about the water being turned off 1.00

00:30:41.540 they laughed at donald trump they said it's a joke but what's not a joke is the destruction that it

00:30:46.160 did to people's lives now these people may be richer than the rest of the people that you know deal with

00:30:51.340 this on a daily basis but that doesn't matter it shouldn't make a difference just because they

00:30:55.620 can afford it in some cases shouldn't make a difference my buddy grant cardone a good friend

00:31:00.620 of mine who's looking at maybe running for governor of california he brought up a good point i was talking

00:31:05.480 to him a few weeks ago and he goes john you know think about it how often do you see golf courses

00:31:10.960 burning in these wildfires i go grant you know as a golfer i've never really sat back and thought

00:31:15.800 about it but think about it how many golf courses go on fire when we have these wildfires i can't think

00:31:21.600 of one can you no i think uh worse they got i think in altadena i think a clubhouse burned down

00:31:28.420 oh bridge of one but look at look at the palisades fire huge reservoir bone dry because they had to fix a

00:31:37.440 cover that was worth just a what twenty thousand dollar repair so they set it dry let it dry for

00:31:43.580 two years so when the firemen go to turn on the the fire hydrants oh wait there's no water in them

00:31:48.320 anymore why how how is that even explain that to me because as a man who's been in public service for

00:31:54.500 a i don't even know you tell me the number it's a very long time um how is it possible to open a

00:32:00.820 fire hydrant i understand you're a sheriff and you're a cop not a fireman but you guys work pretty 1.00

00:32:05.100 hand in hand at least here in new york how is that possible well it's this is idiocy on steroids 0.98

00:32:10.960 right here because you have bureaucrats make the decision from the department of water and power 0.91

00:32:15.560 well we're going to take this reservoir offline and we're going to submit it to a bid to create

00:32:20.700 it covered because there's a regulation that mandates that the thing has to have a cover 0.91

00:32:25.020 okay great however these are these morons who decided that it was more important to satisfy 0.99

00:32:31.980 the red tip regulation than they have a full reservoir to fight fires that are going to come 0.98

00:32:37.720 that happen all the time like clockwork every year we have a fire season now become year-long fire and

00:32:45.980 i mean talk about a lack of priorities like who on earth thought this was a good idea and we pay the

00:32:53.720 ultimate price 30 total dead between the palisades and al-sadena we watched karen bass talking with

00:33:00.240 donald trump and saying it's going to take years to get these people to allow them back on their

00:33:04.380 property because it's dangerous explain to me what's dangerous about someone's house being burnt

00:33:10.020 to ashes nothing there to go home to not a picture not a car nothing because it's all burnt to the ground

00:33:16.860 but these people can't go back to their houses to look at the remains of what's there

00:33:21.220 explain that one to me we're creating more red tape and you can't get rid of what's already there

00:33:28.980 what is it what is the typical response you bury it put a layer of dirt on top of it and you move on

00:33:35.620 and what did they want to do they wanted to truck everything out and they wanted to create a permit

00:33:40.900 process it was like they said would cost years and get people's houses and money i mean it's just

00:33:47.180 it's hard to explain this love affair they have with bureaucrats but you know what i call them

00:33:52.720 cubicle hamsters all these employees they added to the county workforce to the city workforce

00:33:59.140 they're all cubicle hamsters nameless faceless bureaucrats toiling away in these little cubicles 1.00

00:34:04.720 creating and satisfying an ever-expanding uh red tape universe yep it's the reason why that uh

00:34:12.080 elon musk is so hated by the far left and the democrats because he's uncovering it or attempting

00:34:16.380 to uncover it people who don't live in new york and california and a big state don't usually realize

00:34:23.920 what happens and how contracts work with uh and you know what it's probably to their own self-being

00:34:29.660 because it would drive them nuts but i see it all the time here in new york someone hires a

00:34:34.600 contractor who hires a subcontractor who hires another contractor this guy gets a kickback from

00:34:39.420 this guy this guy gets a kickback from this guy and that's how business works in new york and it works

00:34:43.380 in california the same way and all the big uh big states that's how it is so anytime you can bring in

00:34:48.620 somebody who's a contractor karen bass can get something uh gavin newsom could get something his kid can

00:34:54.200 get a job it's it's a whole cluster um something we haven't got to yet is the migrant crisis uh these

00:35:03.300 radical policies that have allowed uh illegal immigrants to overrun our cities and it's not 1.00

00:35:09.760 your mom and pop illegal immigrants who are working in restaurants and working on farms it's these gang 1.00

00:35:16.600 members who are taking over our cities just as we're on here now uh attorney general pam bondi announced

00:35:22.660 the largest fentanyl seizure in u.s history eleven and a half kilos of drugs including three million

00:35:28.680 pills were seized uh members of the sinaloa cartel were arrested in this operation this is like a normal

00:35:36.080 occurrence now in america that we didn't see 20 years ago now in these uh transnational gangs you have

00:35:44.680 ms-13 mara salvatrucha you have trend del agua you have all the sinaloa cartels jalisco nueva 0.81

00:35:51.300 generation i mean all these different gangs and you have uh armenian gangs you have chinese gangs

00:35:56.860 they're all involved in the illegal cannabis growth in the high desert throughout the state of california

00:36:02.000 and it's big money and you'd think that some targeted uh immigration enforcement and raids like

00:36:09.800 the ones i did back in 2020 and 2021 i ended up burning over two billion dollars worth of weed

00:36:17.700 two billion oh my goodness we did uh let me see between the two two two times in a row we did it

00:36:25.460 we did probably close to 400 search warrants at different locations we took out 80 percent

00:36:32.680 of the illegal cannabis industry in the high desert for la we arrested way somewhere close to 250 people

00:36:42.140 not one prosecution out of it not one this i can imagine why you were so liked over there i i i mean

00:36:50.700 it it wasn't the job for you i i don't think you know you you ruffled too many feathers you stepped on

00:36:55.920 too many feet and you wanted to do a job you wanted to get a job done uh in a place seemingly where

00:37:01.700 nothing ever gets done i think that's the sentiment of california

00:37:05.360 i want to turn to uh your book you've got a new book out and i want to bring it to the audience

00:37:14.340 for them to see sheriff holding a thin blue line in a deep blue state tell us a little bit about it

00:37:20.120 well i can summarize the book and it's autobiographical obviously but it's basically

00:37:26.180 david defeats goliath oh then then goliath invents lawfare that's what it is so if you want to

00:37:33.440 know about like for example president trump's trajectory and experience here you can get a

00:37:39.100 real life story about my experience how the uh board of supervisors weaponized the entire county

00:37:46.340 government to defame dehumanize delegitimize me and actually try to throw me in jail at one point

00:37:53.100 by hope oh yeah they did a grand jury and they had secret uh witnesses and subpoenas and everything

00:37:59.540 and you know how they say grand jurors you can die to ham sandwich they found nothing and they

00:38:04.940 were so disappointed then the attorney general comes and does this big investigation he finds

00:38:10.120 nothing so i mean they tried everything possible then they created a new law oh you can get rid of the

00:38:17.580 sheriff with a four-fifth vote of the board of supervisors you know measure a oh let's defund the

00:38:23.080 sheriff's department put another measure on the ballot and now after i read after i left office

00:38:28.540 they put me on a do not rehire list and made it public that is the uh the crass and obscene

00:38:37.220 corruption of the board in all of this why was it because i did my job i enforced the rule of law

00:38:44.880 i created a public corruption unit that went after corrupt public officials and oh my god you could

00:38:52.580 hear oh how dare you can't do that don't you know who you are don't you know who they are i could care

00:38:59.460 less for me again it's calling the balls and the strikes i don't care who's pitching who's batting

00:39:04.680 yeah and and like i said i i followed the work you've done for a very long time and uh anytime there

00:39:11.440 was an issue in california the the kobe bryant incident was one it seemed it was taking care of

00:39:16.940 right away not national news headlines guy takes a picture of kobe bryant's dead body the helicopter

00:39:23.240 gone fired okay i mean things were handled and uh it's a shame that they don't have you there

00:39:29.440 anymore but you know it seems that uh you know you've got better things ahead anyway who the heck

00:39:34.420 wants to be in a job where you're constantly have a target on your back that do not hire or does that

00:39:39.340 mean that you can't get hired anywhere in california in a public job as a public servant

00:39:43.700 well that's their intent and their intent was to defame me and branch me and of course when you

00:39:49.100 apply for a job now you got to do not hire hurdles to overcome anywhere you go and in my position

00:39:54.640 you know trying to become for example a chief of police or in a consulting capacity you wear that

00:40:00.800 anchor around your your ankle everywhere you go and uh that's why i'm in litigation with the

00:40:06.200 county over that so we'll see in june hopefully when it goes to trial what uh what comes of that

00:40:11.480 what a disgusting place man these people have no shame they don't care but you know what at the

00:40:17.540 end of the day alex uh we all get judged on our judgment day and it's the day that you know we go 0.85

00:40:23.260 to a better place and a higher place and that's where i believe everyone is going to get judged you

00:40:27.640 know you can put somebody in jail you can be a tough guy you know while you're on the ground while

00:40:32.360 you're here on earth but uh you know you answer we all answer to a higher power and it's not uh it's not

00:40:37.380 a governor of california it's not a president of the united states it's not a district attorney

00:40:41.140 it's not a county board it's none of that i want to give you the last word here the floor is yours

00:40:47.360 whatever you want to say uh give the audience your website um but i also want to get your words of

00:40:52.420 encouragement for any democrat who's watching the show any democrat out there who's thinking about

00:40:56.740 doing what you've done and and and finally saying enough's enough with these people um they got to

00:41:04.340 get their act together we're on the side of truth justice and the american way and that's not the

00:41:08.420 democrat party no it isn't and uh real quick on the book my website is share bno about 33.com

00:41:15.540 you can get it there it's a good story that explains everything that's happened so get you up to date

00:41:20.460 but for the disaffected democratic voters that are out there that have been faithful party uh registered

00:41:27.260 democrats it's time to admit the obvious they have gone so far to the left they're not even part of

00:41:35.500 the of normal discourse anymore they don't represent your interests anymore they are so enmeshed with the

00:41:41.980 legacy media that reality has been obscured things i did in office that were very important advance the

00:41:49.100 public interest the public never knew about them like i told you about turning a deficit into surplus

00:41:55.500 should have been something hey that's pretty good thing never knew about during the pandemic at

00:41:59.980 the height of the pandemic we had a 94 increase in homicides in the county 94 which should raise alarms and

00:42:08.300 what did they do they cut my budget i lost 25 of my homicide detectives and the public was never informed of

00:42:16.220 this because the legacy media had to sustain the narrative given to them by the democratic establishment

00:42:24.220 and that is a threat to our society today that is a threat to our national security our threat to our

00:42:30.620 viability as a as a nation of and rule of law so democratic voters stop condoning and stop basically

00:42:41.820 supporting this criminal behavior switch parties join the republican party let's get some balance back in the

00:42:50.380 state of california let's get it uh at least a shade of purple which i think would be in everyone's best

00:42:56.300 interest at a national level we have both parties duking it out back and forth so on the federal side

00:43:02.140 it's not that important it's the one party state of california that is a demise of the state of

00:43:07.660 california we got to change that and it's also a threat to democracy alex uh a term the democrats like to

00:43:13.740 use a lot when they describe other people they're gaslighters uh to the next level like i've never seen

00:43:19.100 before they're manipulators to the next level and i'm glad you saw the light of day and said enough's

00:43:23.180 enough because more people need to do it what you've done uh real quickly what's next for you uh

00:43:27.980 do you ever want to run for office uh you want to get back in a into law enforcement uh maybe go work

00:43:34.940 for ice i don't know what's what's next for you well i want to get this uh this lawsuit uh resolved in

00:43:42.220 june and my wife and i will sit back and we'll uh make a decision what's the best way to move forward

00:43:49.820 in the meantime i just want to encourage people to start uh registering republican vote republican if

00:43:55.100 you don't even leave your party doesn't not important vote for people don't for political parties

00:44:02.220 vote for policies not for names because that's what gets us in the trouble we're in today and uh

00:44:08.380 we'll see what the future holds but uh i'm uh i'm feeling pretty upbeat good for you uh alex

00:44:14.700 villanoeva he was the 33rd sheriff uh for los angeles county a great american and welcome to the
