Transcript

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm Lou Dobbs, and welcome to The Great America Show.
00:00:04.860 And let me say, I had one of the most restful, relaxing weekends in ages, and I hope you did, too.
00:00:11.180 Last week, in a great victory for the Second Amendment, the Supreme Court struck down New York's outrageous gun law that restricted concealed carry.
00:00:20.300 And then, the very next day, the high court overturned Roe v. Wade.
00:00:24.720 It was an amazing week for truth, justice, and the American way.
00:00:31.580 Thank you, Lord. And I have to tell you, I haven't felt this good about our country in a very long time.
00:00:38.100 Freedom, freedom is once again ringing throughout America.
00:00:42.580 You can feel it. You can hear it. Just listen. It is ringing once again.
00:00:48.480 And after Friday's Supreme Court rulings, I took a number of deep breaths, and I said again, thank you, Lord.
00:00:54.880 Thank you. And I'll be doing that for quite some time.
00:00:58.160 And we have a great deal to be thankful for in this country, not only for Friday's decision, but this Supreme Court's integrity and its courage.
00:01:06.880 Heaven sent. And again, thank you, Lord.
00:01:09.180 This Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, rolling back a half-century of darkness
00:01:18.120 and ending 50 years of contrived legal interpretation that was on its face, always specious, tortured, and preposterous judicial activism
00:01:28.600 that created a constitutional right of abortion from thin air.
00:01:33.960 Justices Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett,
00:01:39.180 are heroic in their stand for the integrity of the Constitution
00:01:43.420 and in their insistence that both Roe and Casey be overturned
00:01:48.380 and the issue of abortion be returned to the states
00:01:52.260 and the judgment of the governed.
00:01:54.700 We, the people, and the people in each of those 50 states
00:01:59.440 will make their determination about abortion.
00:02:03.260 And yes, we should be sure to applaud President Trump's nominations
00:02:07.640 of Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett, without whom this historic decision would have never occurred.
00:02:15.080 We should also note that a fourth conservative justice would likely be on the court, or at least soon.
00:02:21.880 Were it not for the irregularities, the anomalies, the ballot trafficking, Zuckerberg's half-billion dollars,
00:02:29.740 George Soros' funded accomplices, and millions of ballots that weren't signature verified,
00:02:36.740 and Attorney General William Barr's decision not to intervene in an election won by the candidate
00:02:42.920 who lied about his son's laptop contents, had vital support from 51 intelligence officials,
00:02:50.760 including five former CIA directors, who lied in saying it was all Russian disinformation,
00:02:58.260 and shut down the national media, who then refused to report the truth.
00:03:03.560 And the Attorney General William Barr knew it all the time, that it was all a lie, in support of Biden,
00:03:11.740 and he refused to tell the truth to the American people.
00:03:15.700 In not intervening in the 2020 election, Barr intervened on behalf of the man he knew to be corrupt
00:03:22.700 and lying to the American people, Joe Biden, and there is no excuse.
00:03:29.400 Washington has a tremendous shortage of courage and integrity.
00:03:33.560 Thank God for Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett.
00:03:39.520 The Marxist Dems and the puppet president, Biden, have spent months trying to intimidate
00:03:44.460 the conservative justices on the court.
00:03:47.380 Demonstrations and protests outside their homes.
00:03:50.680 One man arrested near Justice Kavanaugh's home, arrested for attempted murder of Justice Kavanaugh.
00:03:58.240 And since their ruling, street violence in Portland and other cities,
00:04:02.420 more threats against their lives and the court, the Marxist Dems calling for packing of the Supreme Court now,
00:04:09.400 once again, and the end of the filibuster, once again.
00:04:13.780 And on it goes.
00:04:15.620 The left's bent to totalitarianism is ever sharper by the day.
00:04:20.460 They shout in the streets, the Supreme Court is illegitimate, that they'll ignore the court and the law,
00:04:27.560 just as they do whether it's bail for killers, an open border for the drug smuggling, sex trafficking, drug cartels,
00:04:35.360 the Biden refusal to remove illegal immigrants.
00:04:38.900 It just goes on and on under this presidency.
00:04:43.000 Meanwhile, the Marxist left isn't letting up on its efforts to smear President Trump
00:04:48.320 to punish hundreds of our fellow citizens who were on Capitol grounds on January 6th,
00:04:54.640 some of them incarcerated for the past year and a half.
00:04:59.780 I ask you, is this really America?
00:05:03.580 Our guest today is defense attorney Joe McBride.
00:05:07.160 He is a great American.
00:05:08.700 He represents a number of January 6th defendants.
00:05:12.660 Joe is working tirelessly for those defendants and, yes, all the rest in this nightmare conflict
00:05:18.520 between justice and the Department of Justice.
00:05:23.180 Joe McBride, thanks for being with us on The Great America Show.
00:05:26.200 Welcome, as always.
00:05:28.160 And we've got a lot to cover, but I want to first go to the Supreme Court decision
00:05:32.300 to strike down New York's concealed carry law and get your interpretation.
00:05:39.680 So, the law that was on the books essentially required people to prove some type of special
00:05:48.720 type of circumstance in order to demonstrate that they needed to carry a firearm for self-protection,
00:05:56.800 meaning that outside of the House, you needed to prove special circumstances.
00:06:01.260 That runs in contravention to the Second Amendment and to years and years and years of case law,
00:06:09.800 which says that the constitutional right to bear arms in public for self-defense is not a second-class right,
00:06:17.820 subject to an entirely different body of rules, anything other than the Bill of Rights and what that guarantees.
00:06:23.940 So, Bill of Rights says you can carry a firearm for self-defense, and that is enough.
00:06:30.480 So, in the application process, if you put down self-defense, that should be enough.
00:06:35.680 The New York law prior to today said you had the right self-defense plus something else.
00:06:43.480 The plus something else part of it got thrown out today.
00:06:46.580 New Yorkers, it's going to be a lot easier for a New Yorker to carry a gun outside of their home going forward,
00:06:53.320 which is a good thing because it's what the Constitution intended,
00:06:57.820 and good people do have a right to defend themselves against criminals who carry guns and don't respect the law anyway.
00:07:03.980 Exactly. And one of the things that we do know, for example, is that New Jersey, New York,
00:07:11.840 they use the special circumstances and the purpose as a way to slow roll everyone's application for a concealed weapon.
00:07:20.620 Effectively, they don't approve any of them unless they're friends of the governor or whatever.
00:07:26.900 And so this means what?
00:07:29.580 Will they be able to still slow roll you, make you take a year or two to get a concealed weapon,
00:07:35.420 or are they going to have to simply look at you, say you're either an upstanding citizen,
00:07:40.120 you have your papers in order, and here's your permit?
00:07:45.720 Does it have to be expeditious?
00:07:47.920 It should be expeditious in purpose and in effect.
00:07:51.080 I mean, New York is notoriously slow on everything,
00:07:55.680 but I would imagine that there is going to be a certain level of scrutiny on the way this law is enforced going forward.
00:08:03.540 And, you know, when you have people saying that we're just going to ignore it,
00:08:07.600 like the governor or the mayor, I think that's going to bring different levels of scrutiny.
00:08:12.880 And I just, I find it really interesting.
00:08:16.280 You have all these white sort of saviors, these white liberal elitist saviors in New York City and in the Northeast.
00:08:25.640 And, you know, the fear and outrage currently being expressed by white liberal saviors,
00:08:33.240 it's like a collective Freudian slip, which shows the whole world how uncomfortable these white liberal saviors really are
00:08:42.200 with strong black men like Clarence Thomas, number one, giving them an order and telling them this is the law,
00:08:49.220 you're going to have to deal with it.
00:08:50.200 And number two, the possibility of blacks and Latinos actually arming themselves or other whites arming themselves in the world that we live in.
00:09:00.120 If they trusted everybody so much and if they really believed in half the crap they were pushing,
00:09:04.860 they'd be totally okay with this.
00:09:06.560 But because they're not, they can't help themselves.
00:09:09.740 And their hypocrisy is just coming out of all their orifices today.
00:09:14.360 It's a wonderful thing to watch.
00:09:16.680 Absolutely.
00:09:17.120 And Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, telling people nothing changes today.
00:09:22.460 We're going to ignore it.
00:09:25.260 The man is so ignorant.
00:09:27.300 I mean, you talk about him being connected to George Soros.
00:09:30.120 And everything else, let's be honest.
00:09:31.980 He's connected to the international Marxist DEM congregation.
00:09:37.360 This guy is a piece of work.
00:09:39.840 We got rid of Bill de Blasio.
00:09:42.040 Well, he got rid of himself.
00:09:44.100 And now we've got this joker.
00:09:47.360 When are these numbskulls, is there anyone in New York who can run for mayor,
00:09:51.820 who would be halfway decent, have a sense of public service obligation,
00:09:55.760 and actually do the right and fair thing for its citizens?
00:10:01.140 There are, I mean, the guy is a joke.
00:10:04.180 He, saying that you're not going to follow Supreme Court precedent is ridiculous.
00:10:10.020 He's doing it because he thinks he's going to get away with it.
00:10:13.540 He's not going to get away with it.
00:10:15.800 The Supreme Court, what it says, is final.
00:10:18.060 And if he runs in contravention to it, there will be grounds to remove him from office.
00:10:23.140 He is not loyal to the United States or the people of New York City,
00:10:28.760 of which I am a citizen of both New York City and the United States.
00:10:33.260 He's obviously loyal to this international Marxist order,
00:10:38.400 which one thing it definitely doesn't want is people to have guns.
00:10:42.320 This is a big, big-time problem for them.
00:10:47.240 Are there people in New York who are capable of running?
00:10:49.280 Hell, yes.
00:10:50.620 Will somebody rise and run at some time in the near future?
00:10:54.780 I think so.
00:10:56.080 I think people are fed up.
00:10:58.220 I think people have had enough.
00:11:00.240 This system is going to crumble under the weight of its own hypocrisy
00:11:04.000 because it underestimates the spirit of freedom and liberty in this country,
00:11:08.740 which no Marxist idea or set of ideals is ever going to be able to defeat.
00:11:14.220 As a matter of fact, the ideals are intended to destroy capitalism,
00:11:19.020 to destroy this republic, and to destroy democracy.
00:11:24.380 All are the antithesis of Marxism.
00:11:31.500 I want to say, too, I've always believed that the surest way of establishing respect for one another
00:11:41.080 is to know that the man or woman across from you,
00:11:45.780 whether you're driving a car or whether you're walking along the street,
00:11:50.060 to know that they are actually armed is a great way to engender respect for people.
00:11:55.920 What do you think about that idea?
00:11:58.480 I think that idea is accurate.
00:12:00.840 It is the idea of mutually assured destruction.
00:12:06.720 You know, you, just because you're a woman or an older person or a handicapped person
00:12:13.220 or a smaller person, somebody who's physically stronger than you
00:12:17.140 or a group of people who may try to do you harm,
00:12:20.820 will do that to you if all you have is sort of your fisticuffs, right?
00:12:24.920 You are, it's Darwinism.
00:12:27.160 But if you're going to break into grandma's house at 3 o'clock in the morning
00:12:31.820 and you know that, you know, grandma's got a .44 Magnum waiting to smoke you on the other side of it,
00:12:37.880 you may think twice about it.
00:12:39.780 And you see these videos online now.
00:12:41.580 I see them all the time.
00:12:42.400 I think they're hilarious.
00:12:43.280 You see a group of guys trying to get into a house and grandma blast them through the door.
00:12:46.780 And I think it's the greatest thing since apple pie because they,
00:12:49.640 most people have no right to do that and they got what they were looking for.
00:12:53.460 Exactly.
00:12:54.180 It's, it, it really is the truth.
00:12:56.760 I would like to see every citizen in this country carrying a weapon, period.
00:13:02.080 It's time to end the nonsense.
00:13:03.740 It's time to sit there and say, I'm going to wait for the police to show up.
00:13:08.500 Well, eight minutes later, 18 minutes later, an hour and a half,
00:13:12.480 you could do an eternity worth of waiting because that's what can happen very quickly.
00:13:18.760 And people have to have a sense that they can be responsible for their personal safety
00:13:24.420 and that of their family.
00:13:25.440 And this business that they're the road we're on right now with this idiot,
00:13:29.800 John Korn and the Senator from Texas joining up with Joe Biden and all of the,
00:13:35.240 the little rhino creeps that the Republican party has, you know,
00:13:39.680 in their reserves.
00:13:41.880 It's just disgusting.
00:13:43.780 And everyone should laugh them out and tell them, you know,
00:13:46.920 and I don't want to hear from the Republicans, by the way, in the Senate.
00:13:49.580 Oh no, we're not, you know, we don't like it.
00:13:52.360 I want to see them do something about it instead of just, you know,
00:13:55.440 blather on like Mitch McConnell does every time.
00:13:59.180 American people deserve better.
00:14:01.060 But speaking of deserving better,
00:14:03.900 so does every single person who's been charged by the January 6th committee.
00:14:10.740 And I want to know, because you represent at least a half dozen of them,
00:14:15.220 I'd like to know the status here, first and foremost,
00:14:18.840 about what is happening to our fellow citizens who have had the great misfortune
00:14:23.900 to be entrapped in this political persecution.
00:14:28.260 Sure.
00:14:28.900 So Lou, before we move on to that,
00:14:30.860 I just want to make one last final comment about the thing.
00:14:33.220 Cause I'd be remiss if, if I didn't, um,
00:14:35.740 I think that the fact that this opinion,
00:14:37.880 uh,
00:14:38.960 which was written and drafted primarily by justice Thomas,
00:14:42.140 and it was released today on his birthday is just one of the most savage
00:14:46.900 things that he could have ever done as a Patriot.
00:14:49.200 I mean,
00:14:49.420 this is a guy is,
00:14:51.120 this is my birthday and this is what I'm going to give you to the world.
00:14:54.840 I mean,
00:14:55.620 it's just epic.
00:14:57.120 You know,
00:14:57.500 he's just sticking the middle finger up and holding the flag in his other
00:15:00.700 hand and saying,
00:15:01.380 kiss my American ass,
00:15:02.960 forgive my language,
00:15:03.840 Lou.
00:15:04.340 And,
00:15:04.860 uh,
00:15:05.400 I just,
00:15:06.020 on Clarence Thomas's birthday,
00:15:07.980 I do.
00:15:08.620 So I absolutely forgive your language.
00:15:11.480 I applaud your language.
00:15:13.060 And furthermore,
00:15:14.040 I want to wish you Clarence Thomas a happy birthday.
00:15:17.100 And I want to send him a big,
00:15:18.740 big thank you.
00:15:20.320 Uh,
00:15:20.960 because God bless you.
00:15:23.160 It's just a wonderful,
00:15:24.540 wonderful gift to the American people on your birthday,
00:15:27.820 justice Thomas.
00:15:30.160 Yeah,
00:15:30.780 none but respect.
00:15:31.820 So to your,
00:15:32.680 to your question,
00:15:33.460 Lou,
00:15:33.720 look,
00:15:34.300 these guys are still,
00:15:35.900 um,
00:15:36.480 in dire circumstances.
00:15:38.500 Um,
00:15:39.180 uh,
00:15:39.560 just,
00:15:40.080 uh,
00:15:40.300 about a week ago now,
00:15:41.640 uh,
00:15:41.980 a little over a week,
00:15:42.920 uh,
00:15:43.280 we had a conference,
00:15:44.320 uh,
00:15:44.560 that was,
00:15:44.920 uh,
00:15:45.820 a presser hosted by Congressman Gohmert,
00:15:48.100 uh,
00:15:48.700 on the steps of the Capitol,
00:15:50.060 uh,
00:15:50.740 multiple people showed up,
00:15:52.100 multiple members of Congress,
00:15:53.160 Congress,
00:15:53.500 um,
00:15:54.140 Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke with passion.
00:15:56.840 Congressman Andy Biggs spoke with passion.
00:15:59.600 Congressman Troy Nels spoke with passion.
00:16:02.620 And then we had multiple family members who spoke out that day as well.
00:16:07.520 Uh,
00:16:08.080 we were speaking about the,
00:16:09.740 the prolonged solitary confinement,
00:16:12.120 the unfairness of the,
00:16:14.720 uh,
00:16:15.080 discovery process,
00:16:16.480 the myriad abuses that have taken place both in the court and in the jails.
00:16:21.380 It was a,
00:16:22.480 it was a,
00:16:22.940 it was a good and powerful day.
00:16:24.640 We spoke out in particular.
00:16:26.700 I spoke out against the,
00:16:28.340 uh,
00:16:29.040 January 6th committee,
00:16:30.400 uh,
00:16:31.000 purposely trying to poison the jury pool.
00:16:34.380 Uh,
00:16:34.780 this is much like Oliver North.
00:16:36.260 I know you remember that situation.
00:16:38.180 Um,
00:16:38.900 you know,
00:16:39.220 his convictions were tossed.
00:16:40.460 His,
00:16:40.760 his,
00:16:40.940 his,
00:16:41.420 his testimony was immunized,
00:16:43.420 but the bigger,
00:16:44.520 the bigger issue is that his testimony,
00:16:47.780 uh,
00:16:48.300 in front of Congress and the proceedings themselves affected the outcome of the
00:16:51.960 case.
00:16:52.280 And because of that,
00:16:53.100 um,
00:16:53.680 his,
00:16:54.500 uh,
00:16:54.820 convictions were eventually tossed and we just don't see how we can get a
00:16:57.560 fair.
00:16:57.900 We definitely can't get a fair jury trial in,
00:17:00.060 in,
00:17:00.440 uh,
00:17:01.100 in DC,
00:17:01.560 but now that they're doing this in prime time and they're poisoning the
00:17:05.180 national consciousness,
00:17:06.160 I'd submit that there's no way to get a fair trial.
00:17:09.120 And,
00:17:09.600 and that even if we blow a trial in some of these cases,
00:17:12.020 the appeals,
00:17:13.220 uh,
00:17:13.940 should go,
00:17:14.660 you know,
00:17:15.040 we'll,
00:17:15.320 we'll certainly have something to argue about because the jury pool,
00:17:19.380 there is no,
00:17:20.080 there is no non-biased jury pool at this point.
00:17:22.320 It's not possible.
00:17:23.580 I think you're making a tremendous point and,
00:17:26.260 and God bless you for doing so,
00:17:28.180 because this is ignorance beyond belief that we are even seeing this committee
00:17:32.740 be formed,
00:17:33.500 uh,
00:17:34.140 be constituted as it is.
00:17:35.900 It is a partisan Soviet style show committee.
00:17:39.980 Uh,
00:17:40.300 the ignorance is palpable.
00:17:41.800 It is,
00:17:42.600 uh,
00:17:42.760 the entire country is aware of it.
00:17:45.860 It's just disgusting.
00:17:47.400 There's nothing in this that even remotely resembles due process.
00:17:52.080 Uh,
00:17:52.600 and whether I,
00:17:55.220 I,
00:17:55.500 I just can't,
00:17:56.860 I can't,
00:17:57.740 I'm so disgusted by this whole thing.
00:17:59.580 I can't see straight.
00:18:00.600 I think you make a brilliant point and one that should be taken seriously by
00:18:04.900 the courts.
00:18:05.540 Let me ask you,
00:18:06.600 are any of your defendants closer right now,
00:18:10.180 uh,
00:18:10.880 to being,
00:18:11.500 uh,
00:18:11.840 out of,
00:18:12.340 uh,
00:18:13.400 incarceration.
00:18:15.660 So,
00:18:16.060 uh,
00:18:18.240 Christopher Quaglin has a,
00:18:20.020 uh,
00:18:20.360 habeas motion that the government just responded on.
00:18:23.400 And I'm going to respond this week.
00:18:24.860 And that's going to be heard before judge McFadden.
00:18:27.820 I believe that a judge McFadden.
00:18:29.760 I don't want to comment too on the case,
00:18:32.700 too much on the case.
00:18:33.420 I get myself in trouble,
00:18:34.240 but I believe that our arguments are strong,
00:18:36.600 that the facts are overwhelming,
00:18:38.360 that the law supports the conclusion that he should be let out of jail.
00:18:42.400 Christopher Quaglin,
00:18:43.620 because his due process rights not to be punished,
00:18:47.220 not to be punished at all.
00:18:48.360 And they might call it unusually.
00:18:49.660 And because there's been deliberate indifference to his medical condition,
00:18:52.540 that those are more than sufficient grounds for him to be released.
00:18:55.420 Going to file a similar one soon.
00:18:57.240 And Ryan Nichols,
00:18:57.860 this case as well,
00:18:58.780 because he's a military veteran with PTSD and they've used,
00:19:03.060 uh,
00:19:03.360 solitary confinement and other things as a means to punish him.
00:19:06.160 And you can't punish people who haven't been,
00:19:08.700 who have not been convicted of crimes.
00:19:10.180 So those guys sort of have a soon ish window of possibly getting out.
00:19:15.380 If those habeas petitions work,
00:19:17.120 uh,
00:19:18.140 generally my guys and the rest of everybody else,
00:19:20.980 no,
00:19:21.960 they are pouring on charges.
00:19:24.320 If you look at the people in the proud boys cases or the oath keepers cases,
00:19:27.980 they're,
00:19:28.920 they've now added seditious conspiracy and,
00:19:32.320 you know,
00:19:32.600 they can go to jail for life.
00:19:34.460 What they are doing,
00:19:35.660 it's the combination of,
00:19:37.420 you know,
00:19:37.900 I have charges where you're facing life in prison.
00:19:40.840 You have now have the January six committee poisoning,
00:19:44.340 the jury pool beyond repair.
00:19:46.580 Joe Biden is on TV talking about,
00:19:49.040 uh,
00:19:50.060 January six was the greatest,
00:19:51.520 you know,
00:19:52.600 problem to ever happen in this country.
00:19:54.160 It's worse than nine 11 is worse than the civil war.
00:19:56.360 These people are domestic terrorists and they're insurrectionists and so on and so forth.
00:20:01.560 So when you have all,
00:20:02.880 all the leading members of three branches of government,
00:20:04.960 making these statements in conjunction with the,
00:20:08.020 with the liberal media machine,
00:20:09.540 that's propagandizing the public,
00:20:11.320 they're making a fair fight impossible.
00:20:13.560 So as to drive these people to a plea and Oh,
00:20:17.240 by the way,
00:20:17.720 they're keeping them in jail under horrible conditions the entire time as well.
00:20:21.920 So why,
00:20:23.200 why I've got to ask you this,
00:20:25.260 we've talked about it.
00:20:26.820 Why is there not a remedy in law for this kind of outrageous political persecution?
00:20:33.700 The obvious lack of fairness and due process.
00:20:39.420 How is it that we don't have a remedy in American law?
00:20:44.320 So we do have,
00:20:46.540 I mean,
00:20:46.700 it's a good question.
00:20:47.980 The habeas petition is something that it's,
00:20:50.680 it's a remedy.
00:20:51.160 Now it says,
00:20:51.880 Hey,
00:20:52.040 look,
00:20:52.780 your constitutional rights have been violated.
00:20:55.060 Anytime we say your due process rights have been violated.
00:20:58.680 That means that there's a process.
00:21:01.380 The government did not go through it.
00:21:03.800 They jumped to a conclusion and they violated your rights somehow.
00:21:07.500 In these criminal cases,
00:21:08.780 they're violating due process rights by punishing people before they've been convicted.
00:21:14.100 They're violating due process rights by interfering with the right to counsel.
00:21:18.520 They're violating the due process rights by publicly trying these people without a meaningful
00:21:24.500 opportunity to cross-examine the witnesses in these hearings.
00:21:30.820 And therefore,
00:21:31.860 you know,
00:21:32.500 the,
00:21:32.840 these people are being declared guilty in the court of public opinion.
00:21:36.360 In order for us to challenge that,
00:21:38.780 it takes a tremendous amount of time.
00:21:40.480 It takes a tremendous amount of resources.
00:21:42.460 And because of many of these families are middle to lower class,
00:21:47.840 white Christian people from middle America,
00:21:51.680 middle America who have no savings,
00:21:53.400 who either live paycheck to paycheck,
00:21:55.680 or,
00:21:56.720 you know,
00:21:56.880 they're taking care of their family and they don't have anything extra on the table.
00:22:00.620 The,
00:22:01.140 the,
00:22:01.460 it makes it very hard for them to,
00:22:04.080 to fight these cases because of how much time and energy and resources this,
00:22:07.940 this,
00:22:08.420 this,
00:22:08.760 this,
00:22:08.940 this,
00:22:09.220 all these things take.
00:22:10.460 So that's why we have crowd raised and sort of crowd funded.
00:22:14.120 And we appeal to people all the time to give and to donate to these legal funds.
00:22:17.600 It's not to make the lawyers rich.
00:22:19.640 We're never going to get rich over these cases.
00:22:21.220 It's so that these guys can have a meaningful opportunity to litigate all of the issues in court and not just some of them.
00:22:29.820 How long have these clients of yours been in jail,
00:22:33.280 in prison?
00:22:35.220 Some of them being in prison going on 18 months now since January of 21.
00:22:39.840 And how in the hell is that possible?
00:22:45.020 How is it possible in America for somebody to be in that situation?
00:22:49.600 That's what I don't understand.
00:22:51.560 I don't understand how Peter Navarro,
00:22:55.000 special assistance of the president can be,
00:22:56.880 the FBI can arrest him for contempt of Congress and put him in handcuffs and,
00:23:03.860 and leg irons and throw him in a cell.
00:23:06.480 This isn't America.
00:23:09.300 It's,
00:23:09.900 it's,
00:23:10.200 it's not America.
00:23:11.080 And just yesterday,
00:23:12.500 uh,
00:23:13.600 Jeff Clark,
00:23:14.640 who was a,
00:23:15.840 uh,
00:23:16.500 one of the associate attorney generals,
00:23:18.540 uh,
00:23:19.400 assistant attorney generals in,
00:23:20.820 during the Trump administration,
00:23:21.960 the guy who said,
00:23:23.740 Hey,
00:23:23.920 listen,
00:23:24.360 before we just fold up here,
00:23:25.900 maybe there are some legitimate issues.
00:23:28.640 Maybe we should actually take a strong look at the election fraud,
00:23:32.560 because if there is fraud,
00:23:34.320 the law would support our ability to,
00:23:37.780 to take a pause here and to say,
00:23:39.880 Hey,
00:23:40.040 let's look into what's going on because he had the,
00:23:42.740 the audacity to speak the truth when it mattered.
00:23:45.740 Uh,
00:23:46.220 he's been labeled as a part of the problem.
00:23:48.780 He's been,
00:23:49.500 uh,
00:23:50.100 looked at by the committee.
00:23:51.260 He's been harassed by the committee.
00:23:52.600 He's been threatened,
00:23:54.820 canceled.
00:23:55.260 Um,
00:23:56.260 but then just yesterday of,
00:23:58.380 of all people,
00:23:59.220 the office of the inspector general showed up with a team of officers in,
00:24:03.860 uh,
00:24:04.100 opened his front door yesterday,
00:24:05.380 um,
00:24:06.640 in raid of his house,
00:24:07.520 took all of his electronics,
00:24:08.640 took his phones,
00:24:09.340 took his kids,
00:24:09.920 computers,
00:24:10.420 his kids,
00:24:10.860 laptops,
00:24:11.420 his pads,
00:24:11.940 and just showed up and took everything from him.
00:24:14.680 Um,
00:24:15.240 simply because they can,
00:24:17.040 it's fear.
00:24:18.120 It's intimidation taxes,
00:24:20.140 tactics,
00:24:20.800 tactics.
00:24:21.480 This is the inspector general did this inspector general,
00:24:25.100 Lou?
00:24:27.660 Unbelievable.
00:24:29.460 Where's the U S Congress,
00:24:31.280 the Senate,
00:24:32.020 where are Republicans?
00:24:34.000 Where are who in the way?
00:24:37.220 You know,
00:24:37.800 I,
00:24:37.960 I don't even know what to say.
00:24:39.960 There is no way.
00:24:41.620 And there's no way in hell that a,
00:24:44.140 an American citizen should be treated like this.
00:24:46.680 And we're seeing it becoming increasingly frequent common,
00:24:50.940 even for the justice department,
00:24:53.860 the,
00:24:54.180 the FBI.
00:24:55.900 And now the inspector general,
00:24:57.640 that's supposed to be a,
00:24:59.140 an independent voice within the agency,
00:25:01.700 uh,
00:25:02.980 to assess others.
00:25:04.320 Conduct is involved in the very thing that we're outraged about.
00:25:09.740 That is a lack of due process,
00:25:12.000 uh,
00:25:13.420 and searching.
00:25:15.260 I,
00:25:15.740 you know,
00:25:15.900 I thought the fourth amendment protected us from all that.
00:25:19.280 It does.
00:25:20.400 Uh,
00:25:20.720 you know,
00:25:21.000 the fourth amendment does protect us,
00:25:22.980 uh,
00:25:23.720 from,
00:25:24.100 from these things.
00:25:24.640 It gives us a reasonable expectation of privacy in our persons,
00:25:28.100 places,
00:25:28.440 and into our things.
00:25:29.440 And,
00:25:29.900 you know,
00:25:30.780 uh,
00:25:31.020 under the castle doctrine,
00:25:32.240 a man or a woman's house is their castle in your reasonable expectation of
00:25:36.120 privacy is at its highest level.
00:25:38.040 Your constitutional protections are at your highest level when you are,
00:25:42.420 um,
00:25:43.580 in,
00:25:43.900 in your home,
00:25:44.720 but they don't care.
00:25:46.080 And they don't care because the federal government has grown too strong.
00:25:49.880 The federal government has gone too strong,
00:25:51.960 grown too strong because it has bought off the states and their sovereignty
00:25:57.360 through grants and loans and this and that and tax reimbursements and
00:26:01.380 whatever it is.
00:26:02.020 The only way this gets solved is by the,
00:26:06.000 the United States,
00:26:07.280 the states themselves,
00:26:08.380 the 50 states stepping up,
00:26:10.820 doing what government DeSantis is doing,
00:26:13.000 reasserting their sovereignty and saying,
00:26:15.600 Hey,
00:26:15.780 federal government,
00:26:16.740 I don't know if you don't realize this,
00:26:18.940 but you're not a King.
00:26:20.040 We're not your subjects.
00:26:21.440 We are States.
00:26:22.580 We are sovereigns and equals to you.
00:26:25.440 We participate in this union because it's beneficial for us,
00:26:29.080 but at no place or time should you ever be acting like you have absolute
00:26:33.860 power or indoor control over each of us.
00:26:37.400 So my belief is that as the states rise up,
00:26:41.620 as local elections become more important,
00:26:44.220 be them school boards,
00:26:45.980 municipal boards,
00:26:47.120 whatever they are,
00:26:48.000 all,
00:26:48.280 all the way up to the top of the governors and the state representatives,
00:26:51.560 and that the state representatives in Congress actually do the bidding of
00:26:55.520 their constituents,
00:26:57.220 then the swamp would fall apart.
00:26:59.500 But in order for that to happen,
00:27:00.620 as president Trump has,
00:27:01.720 has long since said,
00:27:03.180 the swamp has to be drained.
00:27:05.280 And that is precisely what he meant by it.
00:27:08.160 I'd like to turn now,
00:27:09.460 if I can,
00:27:09.860 to these reports that the January six committee is lining up the idea of
00:27:15.720 more hearings for July.
00:27:17.740 And they're coming up with all sorts of nonsense.
00:27:21.260 But obviously they think this is something that they can get away with.
00:27:25.840 Your reaction to these suggestions,
00:27:27.980 they're going to extend this.
00:27:30.440 Well,
00:27:31.100 I mean,
00:27:31.620 my initial reaction is it's like you have a party,
00:27:35.780 you invite people,
00:27:37.160 and then these uninvited guests who you don't like show up and then they
00:27:41.140 overstay their welcome.
00:27:42.500 They're the last people to leave in the room.
00:27:44.200 And you're just like,
00:27:44.680 when the hell are these people going to go?
00:27:45.920 Nobody,
00:27:47.420 nobody cares what they're saying.
00:27:49.900 They're just,
00:27:50.380 they're pandering to,
00:27:52.100 to one side.
00:27:53.340 But what they're also very much doing is they're taking people who may have
00:27:59.100 been on the fence about January six,
00:28:01.140 people who could potentially be jurors.
00:28:03.100 And they are working overtime to convince those people that January six was an
00:28:09.580 insurrection.
00:28:10.040 It was an attack on democracy.
00:28:12.220 These people are terrorists.
00:28:13.740 They should go to jail because of it.
00:28:16.180 They are worthy of,
00:28:18.200 of,
00:28:18.680 of not being free.
00:28:19.980 So on and so forth.
00:28:20.900 And by doing that,
00:28:21.820 once those personal conclusions have been drawn about the matter already,
00:28:25.960 that person is no longer qualified to be a juror.
00:28:29.400 You can't be a juror.
00:28:31.220 If you've already made a decision in your heart and your mind about these
00:28:34.180 matters.
00:28:34.960 And that is what they are trying to do.
00:28:37.900 And I raised this issue in,
00:28:39.860 in the United States versus Ryan Nichols,
00:28:42.140 his,
00:28:42.860 in his case,
00:28:43.560 I think it was his last adjournment was the ninth of June.
00:28:45.920 And I told,
00:28:46.860 I said,
00:28:47.100 judge,
00:28:47.380 you know,
00:28:48.320 they are damaging the jury pool beyond repair.
00:28:51.240 I have very deep concerns about collusion between these two branches of
00:28:55.740 government.
00:28:56.360 They are actively working to circumvent the protections that criminal defendants
00:29:01.000 have by holding these,
00:29:03.020 you know,
00:29:03.580 these show trials in this kangaroo court.
00:29:05.380 And by doing so,
00:29:06.180 they're damaging the jury pool.
00:29:07.900 And the judge agreed with me.
00:29:09.620 So I'm going to file a motion in that case because the judge did not like what he
00:29:12.700 was seeing.
00:29:13.040 And just just recently the lawyers in the proud boys cases,
00:29:17.140 their,
00:29:17.740 their,
00:29:17.960 their case was cases are,
00:29:19.820 are expected to go to trial in August and they were able to get it
00:29:25.900 postponed at least I think until December for those exact reasons.
00:29:30.800 And lo and behold,
00:29:32.480 what's happening.
00:29:33.600 We have a,
00:29:35.040 a pause and Oh,
00:29:36.640 by the way,
00:29:37.200 Oh,
00:29:37.360 you're going to postpone the case.
00:29:38.620 Well,
00:29:38.940 we're just going to continue these hearings down the road.
00:29:43.040 And what I see is that the committee is mirroring much of the steps that the,
00:29:48.800 that the court is doing.
00:29:49.840 And much of the,
00:29:50.600 much of the,
00:29:51.340 the adjournments and the movements that are happening in these criminal cases
00:29:55.040 in order to concurrently travel all the way down to the point of no return
00:30:00.000 for them.
00:30:00.440 So they could continue to poison the pool up until the very last day.
00:30:04.040 That's blatantly obvious.
00:30:06.060 And that begs the question,
00:30:08.040 uh,
00:30:08.880 will somebody within the judiciary say,
00:30:12.400 Hey,
00:30:12.560 that's enough.
00:30:13.460 Uh,
00:30:14.020 the committee needs,
00:30:14.900 needs to be shut down.
00:30:17.080 It's just one thing after another with these people.
00:30:20.160 And again,
00:30:21.480 no one shutting them down.
00:30:23.260 No one,
00:30:24.260 the American bar association.
00:30:25.820 I don't know what it would take somebody with decency and authority,
00:30:31.740 moral authority to say enough,
00:30:34.640 no more of this disinformation,
00:30:37.740 no more of this asinine,
00:30:41.020 a disinformation campaign that's being waged by the,
00:30:44.760 the Marxist left who run the democratic party.
00:30:48.560 And as well,
00:30:49.340 the justice department and the FBI,
00:30:51.680 obviously let me,
00:30:53.020 let me turn to the latest.
00:30:54.400 The department of justice wants to know if Sidney Powell is funding the
00:30:59.920 oath keepers defense.
00:31:02.540 Well,
00:31:03.080 under the DC local rules,
00:31:05.220 um,
00:31:05.800 people,
00:31:07.160 uh,
00:31:07.480 attorneys are allowed to,
00:31:09.100 uh,
00:31:09.420 raise funds for their clients.
00:31:11.380 So put differently,
00:31:12.220 the rules say,
00:31:13.000 if you're,
00:31:14.600 if anyone else other than your client is paying for their defense,
00:31:18.560 well,
00:31:19.260 you have to tell your client.
00:31:20.420 So it's called informed consent.
00:31:22.120 You got to warn them of conflicts.
00:31:23.940 So long as you're,
00:31:25.100 as you and the clients are okay with that.
00:31:27.260 And why,
00:31:27.720 if somebody has,
00:31:29.020 doesn't have the money for $150,000,
00:31:31.080 $200,000 case,
00:31:32.160 and you come to them and say,
00:31:33.440 Hey,
00:31:33.540 this organization is going to pay half of the retainer or half of the
00:31:36.080 cost.
00:31:36.460 Of course you're going to say yes.
00:31:38.020 And that's a good thing for the people who have been accused.
00:31:40.660 So what they're trying to do is first trying to shut the crowdfunding
00:31:44.880 organizations down because they don't want these people to have a fair
00:31:47.860 shot.
00:31:48.560 But secondly,
00:31:50.020 and far more,
00:31:51.000 because there's,
00:31:51.340 there's other like Patriot Freedom Project is the organization that I
00:31:55.760 work with hand in glove.
00:31:57.100 There are many organizations out there,
00:31:59.540 but I work with Patriot Freedom Project because I love them.
00:32:01.900 It's ran by Cynthia Hughes.
00:32:03.640 I think that they do great work and I've had great experiences with them.
00:32:07.760 So those are the people I recommend.
00:32:09.780 Other people might say,
00:32:10.860 Hey,
00:32:11.020 defending the Republic or prison is record or whoever it is.
00:32:14.040 These are the organizations that you should go to.
00:32:16.240 And you know,
00:32:16.680 that that's up to,
00:32:17.620 to,
00:32:17.900 to whoever.
00:32:18.920 And that is a fundamentally good thing now.
00:32:22.120 But what,
00:32:22.540 what the department of justice is,
00:32:24.280 is trying to do here with this case is because defending the Republic is
00:32:28.880 connected to Sidney Powell.
00:32:30.100 They're saying,
00:32:31.100 look,
00:32:31.600 Sidney Powell participated in the election litigation that took place and was not
00:32:38.400 successful.
00:32:39.100 The whole release,
00:32:39.700 the crack and things,
00:32:40.480 so on and so forth.
00:32:41.340 She's also participating or loosely affiliated with anti-COVID litigation.
00:32:47.880 We don't like her because of that.
00:32:49.840 And now we're connecting her from the election into the election fraud arena to the insurrection
00:32:55.180 and now defending these people.
00:32:57.140 Why are they doing that?
00:32:58.680 They are doing that because they are trying to show a chain of custody or a chain of relationships
00:33:03.760 that articulate these people as terrorist financiers and defenders.
00:33:09.880 These are the,
00:33:10.540 this is the same kind of thing.
00:33:12.120 If you were looking at a Hezbollah or the Al Qaeda network in the Middle East,
00:33:15.500 you would say,
00:33:16.260 these are their lawyers.
00:33:17.300 These are their financiers.
00:33:18.700 These are their backers in government.
00:33:20.480 These are their people on the ground.
00:33:21.960 And we need to go after all of them.
00:33:23.640 We need to freeze their accounts.
00:33:24.840 We need to rip them out of government.
00:33:26.080 We need to put them up against the wall and we need to shoot them.
00:33:28.540 That is why they are calling people terrorists.
00:33:31.580 That is why they are bringing Sidney Powell and other people into this,
00:33:35.380 because they're trying to say that this network of patriotic people who are
00:33:39.740 defending people in these cases are not really doing that,
00:33:43.640 that they are more of more like a crime family or an organized terrorist
00:33:48.020 organization that should be stamped out by the government.
00:33:50.400 That is the exact model.
00:33:52.720 They are following the model to the T.
00:33:56.260 Every I is dotted and every T is crossed.
00:33:59.320 When you compare this to the way that we have shut down entire countries or
00:34:03.920 organizations in the Middle East,
00:34:05.260 this is this is the this is the playbook one on one.
00:34:08.680 If that is the methodology, why in the world isn't anybody tying together Perkins
00:34:17.540 Coy, the Democratic National Committee, the Clinton campaign, the George Soros money,
00:34:25.320 the funding of all of this.
00:34:31.280 Well, hey, this country, George Soros is funny.
00:34:34.960 Do you realize that people were knocked off the air in networks because they said the name George Soros?
00:34:42.420 That has changed now.
00:34:44.200 People are actually able to say the name George Soros and connect him to many of the prosecutors,
00:34:50.900 some 75 of them who were all committed to chaos on the streets and the defeat of law and order in the name of,
00:34:59.560 you know, no bail.
00:35:01.440 You know, please, you're a violent criminal.
00:35:03.160 Hit the streets.
00:35:04.300 I mean, this is madness in this country.
00:35:06.640 Why isn't the Republican Party doing exactly the same thing?
00:35:11.100 Well, because the members of the Republican Party who who you see selling out in gun legislation and not helping the January 6th people,
00:35:21.080 those people are their loyalties clearly belong to the people who have paid them off.
00:35:27.460 They're not loyal to the people, their constituency or this country.
00:35:31.040 They do not bleed red, right and blue.
00:35:33.180 They're concerned about green and being on the right side of George Soros's payroll.
00:35:37.700 That is clearly obvious and that's why these people need to be voted out and that they're going to be voted out.
00:35:43.520 They're they're they're done going forward.
00:35:45.560 They're not going to they're not going to be there in a couple of years.
00:35:47.940 Any one of them who came out on the right side of this will be gone regarding what you said about the Clintons and all that other stuff.
00:35:54.340 Well, we know that perfectly healthy people tend to kill themselves all the time.
00:35:58.700 Anytime they really, you know, speak about what what they have done and about what is going on.
00:36:05.040 It's an unfortunate thing. International money needs to be taken out of politics altogether.
00:36:11.460 You know, there there's a lot of dirty international money, international influence, whether it's from Soros or Saudi Arabia or wherever it's coming from.
00:36:20.040 It has no place in the American media and that has no place in American politics.
00:36:24.360 And I would like to see legislation that abolishes that type of infiltration and influence once and for all.
00:36:30.980 And, you know, the only president that we've had who could take those steps to make that happen is Donald J.
00:36:38.380 Trump. And that's the reason that the left in this country, the Marxist left, the Democratic Party they control, have been fighting him from the moment.
00:36:48.820 He was a candidate trying to frame him, running disinformation campaigns against him, including the so-called Russian collusion that was the architect of which was Hillary Clinton.
00:37:02.060 And that is created two failed impeachments, a special counsel investigation that lasted for almost two years.
00:37:09.860 The FBI investigating throughout from 2016 to this very damn moment.
00:37:18.060 It's been going on and no one will stand up.
00:37:20.940 These poor people, some of whom you represent, have no voice.
00:37:26.900 They have no other than you.
00:37:29.340 I'm talking about in the in the political realm.
00:37:32.880 I mean, without you, no one would know what's happening.
00:37:37.260 And a handful of reporters.
00:37:38.920 And I want to give Julie Kelly great credit.
00:37:41.720 She does a terrific job of reporting, in my opinion, on the January six victims.
00:37:47.440 But to your point, also, I want to just add this.
00:37:50.160 Lindsey Graham, John Cornyn, Tom Tillis, Roy Blunt, Rob Portman, Richard Burr, Senator Cassidy of Louisiana, Susan Collins, Pat Toomey, and Mitt Romney.
00:38:05.640 There is your hit parade of egg-sucking rhinos who I think deserve.
00:38:14.940 Well, I don't even tell you what I think they deserve.
00:38:17.740 But anyway, your thoughts here, Joe, as we head toward wrapping up.
00:38:24.780 I agree with you.
00:38:26.480 And, you know, the famous story of Troy, the Trojan horse, you know, you let people behind the wall.
00:38:34.600 And they slaughtered everybody, right?
00:38:36.960 This is sort of like, for me, the inverse Trojan horse.
00:38:40.140 You have people from all over the country, from all 50 states and territories from all over the world.
00:38:45.700 But what's relevant here is the people from the United States, the actual states themselves, from all 50 states, they went to the Capitol on January 6th.
00:38:54.420 And now people from all of those states and their family members and their communities and their friends have all been affected by these unfair prosecutions, these horrible, horrible experiences inside.
00:39:07.420 The raping and pillaging of family resources, cancellation in the workplace and online, so on and so forth.
00:39:14.440 And why is that relevant?
00:39:15.700 It's relevant because while the experience was centralized in Washington, D.C., these people are taking all these experiences back to the community.
00:39:24.600 And because these are good people, they're not inherently bad people, they're patriotic people, they're God-fearing people.
00:39:30.460 They have families and they have communities who have been affected by this as well.
00:39:34.940 And people have woken up.
00:39:37.200 People are beginning to change.
00:39:38.680 People are beginning to see the corruption.
00:39:41.020 And not only see the corruption, but say, I want to get involved and I want to make a difference.
00:39:47.440 I get involved and I want to make a difference is specifically why I became an attorney.
00:39:51.400 And it's specifically why people run for office.
00:39:54.560 So when these people who are in office now and these communities are watching them, somebody from each one of these communities is going to say, I am going to run against that person.
00:40:06.920 I'm going to run against them.
00:40:08.420 And I'm going to say I'm going to do the exact opposite of what they have done.
00:40:12.280 I'm going to make sure that somebody like this never gets elected in the state again.
00:40:15.340 And I'm going to go into Washington and I'm going to bring about change.
00:40:18.720 And because so many people have been are being hurt by the government, the federal government at this point, and they're in all these different states, that is going to provoke a new type of candidate, a new type of culture and a new type of understanding and a willingness to get involved in government.
00:40:35.660 And by them trying to suppress and stamp out everybody, what they're really going to do is they're going to bring elected officials into that building.
00:40:42.900 And then it's going to be a wrath for them.
00:40:45.720 And they're going to be out of government once and for all.
00:40:49.640 Well, it's a beautiful vision.
00:40:51.480 And let's hope it comes to pass and soon.
00:40:54.620 Joe McBride, great American.
