The Great America Show - This one Move by Trump could END THE DEMOCRATS once and for all!

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody, and welcome to the Great America Show.

00:00:05.300 It's great to have you with us.

00:00:06.420 Happy Halloween.

00:00:08.140 Hope you all had a great day and continue on into the night with your parties, your

00:00:12.560 trick-or-treating with your kids, your grandkids, loved ones, all that good stuff.

00:00:16.300 We hope you truly, truly enjoy it.

00:00:19.040 President Trump has done it again, folks.

00:00:21.400 I didn't think we would ever see this again.

00:00:23.380 What am I talking about?

00:00:24.460 Last night, the White House held a trick-or-treater event for trick-or-treaters.

00:00:31.240 Just take a watch.

00:00:42.120 Now, some of you are wondering, well, what am I talking about?

00:00:44.660 He just put a candy bar on top of the kid's head.

00:00:46.840 Well, the media, the Twitter, every social media platform went absolutely berserk.

00:00:52.780 President Trump, in his first term, someone showed up in a minion suit, and President

00:00:57.240 Trump did this.

00:01:09.380 Oh, boy.

00:01:10.480 The internet exploded with the latest on a President Trump putting the candy bar in the head.

00:01:14.040 I'm sorry we had to start at the top of the show with that, but it was absolutely brilliant.

00:01:17.600 Also, last night, President Trump meeting some of his former co-workers, President Trump,

00:01:22.900 as you know, former McDonald's employee, his co-workers stopping by to say hello and get

00:01:32.460 their treats for Halloween.

00:01:34.780 So we had to start at the top of the show.

00:01:36.040 It's a Friday.

00:01:36.660 Let's have some fun today. 0.98

00:01:38.240 And I guess there's always fun to be had when the Marxist Dems are acting a fool, which they 0.98

00:01:43.480 seem to be doing just about every single day in this country. 0.98

00:01:46.720 But President Trump, I think, has got them this time.

00:01:49.480 I think President Trump finally has the Democrats right where he needs them, right in the corner

00:01:55.000 he needs them in, because quite honestly, they've pushed themselves into this corner on their

00:01:59.900 own.

00:02:00.980 President Trump posting on Truth Social last night that he wants Senate Majority Leader

00:02:05.420 John Thune to go with the nuclear option and put an end to this once and for all.

00:02:10.580 President Trump posting the following message on Truth Social last night.

00:02:14.500 We got it up there for you on the screen so you can follow along with us if you wish.

00:02:20.180 Quote, I just got back from Asia where I met with the leaders of many countries, including

00:02:24.020 China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia,

00:02:29.960 Vietnam and others.

00:02:31.500 It was a great honor to meet them, but more particularly to see that America is respected again,

00:02:36.760 respected like never before.

00:02:38.080 Great trade deals were made, long-time relationships now exist, and money is pouring into the country

00:02:43.320 because of tariffs and, frankly, the landslide results of the 2024 presidential election.

00:02:48.800 The one question that keeps coming up, however, was how did the Democrats shut down the United

00:02:54.980 States of America and why did the powerful Republican Party allow them to do it?

00:02:59.860 The fact is, flying back, I thought a great deal about this question.

00:03:03.060 Why?

00:03:04.760 Majority Leader John Thune and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson are doing a great job, 0.99

00:03:08.300 but the Democrats are crazed lunatics that have lost all sense of wisdom and reality. 0.98

00:03:13.980 It's a sick form of the now legendary Trump derangement syndrome, also known as TDS, that 1.00

00:03:20.400 only comes from loosing too much.

00:03:23.440 He's going after the Dems here.

00:03:24.600 They want trillions of dollars to be taken from our health care system and given to others

00:03:28.920 who are not deserving.

00:03:30.780 People will come into our country illegally, many from prisons and mental institutions. 0.85

00:03:36.400 This will hurt the American citizens.

00:03:39.800 The Republicans will not let it happen.

00:03:42.220 It is now time for the Republican Party to play their, quote,

00:03:45.840 Trump card and go for what is called the nuclear option.

00:03:49.960 Get rid of the filibuster and get rid of it. 0.96

00:03:51.920 Now, the filibuster, for those of you who don't know and don't feel bad that you don't

00:03:56.460 know, is that you need 60 votes in the Senate for certain sort of bills, mostly appropriations

00:04:01.780 bills.

00:04:02.120 So when money is being spent right now, it's 60 votes.

00:04:06.040 If they get rid of it, it would go to a simple majority.

00:04:09.040 So, President Trump, get rid of the filibuster and get rid of it.

00:04:12.260 Now, just a short while ago, the Democrats, while in power, fought for three years to do this,

00:04:18.400 were unable to because of Senators Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona.

00:04:24.300 Now, have the Democrats fought so hard to do something because they knew the tremendous

00:04:28.660 strength that terminating the filibuster would give them?

00:04:32.100 They want to substantially expand PAC, the United States Supreme Court, make Washington,

00:04:36.600 D.C. and Puerto Rico, therefore automatically picking up four Senate seats, many House seats,

00:04:41.320 and at least eight electoral votes, many other highly destructive things.

00:04:46.600 Well, we are now in power. 0.85

00:04:48.940 And if we do what we should be doing, it would immediately end this ridiculous country destroying

00:04:54.600 shutdown.

00:04:56.700 Some strong words.

00:04:58.220 If the Democrats ever come back into power, which would make it be easier for them to admit

00:05:02.620 for the Republicans and not be using the great strengths of politics and policies made available

00:05:07.600 by ending the filibuster, the Democrats will exercise their rights, and it will be done

00:05:11.780 the first day they take office, regardless of whether or not we do it.

00:05:16.260 In addition, all of the other things that we would get, such as the best judges, the best

00:05:19.980 U.S. attorneys, the best everything, this was a concept from years ago, then President Barack

00:05:25.820 Hussein Obama, former Majority Leader Harry Reid, in order to take advantage of the Republicans.

00:05:31.600 Now I want to do it in order to take advantage of the Democrats.

00:05:35.260 It's brilliantly put by President Trump, I have to say.

00:05:38.840 I'm sorry, that was a little bit long-winded, but this is a very big inception point right

00:05:43.820 now, that we're at this point of President Trump wanting to get rid of the filibuster.

00:05:51.060 Now, I've thought long and hard about it, and at the beginning, I didn't actually think

00:05:55.960 it was a good idea.

00:05:57.440 But the more that I think about it, the Democrats are going to do it one way or another, because

00:06:01.440 I mean, we've watched them steal elections, we've watched them cheat, lie, all that good

00:06:06.400 stuff.

00:06:07.420 So what tells us they're not going to do it anyway, as President Trump said?

00:06:13.180 I mean, you hear from the mainstream media and some rhinos, well, if you go after and

00:06:18.140 prosecute these Democrats, they're going to do it once they're back in office.

00:06:22.400 And we look at them like, hello, have you been paying attention to what was going on

00:06:28.440 the last four years?

00:06:30.280 Like, where have you guys been?

00:06:33.840 That you think now, because the Republicans decide to do it, that the Democrats are worried

00:06:41.820 or we should be worried of the Democrats doing some sort of retribution?

00:06:46.880 I mean, it's got to be a joke.

00:06:50.860 It's got to be a joke.

00:06:52.200 The only people who are falling for it are the, you know, the Rand Pauls of the world

00:06:55.920 and the Thomas Massey's of the world.

00:06:59.120 And by the way, we've got some good stuff on Thomas Massey later that I want to get

00:07:02.460 to and relate to you guys.

00:07:06.100 You know, it's the Mitt Romney's, the former Mitt Romney's of the world.

00:07:09.840 You look at who is voting against.

00:07:11.820 Now, I would understand if these people, you know, stood on some sort of principles,

00:07:17.420 but they've all sold out one way or another to their corporate oligarchs, to their elite

00:07:22.240 donors, anyone who's, you know, writing six-figure checks to them in those industries.

00:07:28.760 So I would understand it then.

00:07:31.160 But they're all getting money.

00:07:32.600 You know, some of them try to say, you know, we're holier than thou.

00:07:36.340 We don't take this money.

00:07:37.400 We don't take that money.

00:07:38.280 And they get it somehow one way or another.

00:07:40.240 So after, you know, a long contemplation of thinking about it, it might not be the worst

00:07:44.800 idea.

00:07:46.400 Donald Trump ends the shutdown.

00:07:47.920 I don't think he saves Democrats by any stretch of the imagination because they, the Republicans

00:07:52.580 will continue the good messaging.

00:07:54.900 We couldn't take it anymore.

00:07:56.980 We got rid of the filibuster because the Democrats are holding millions and tens of millions of

00:08:02.740 Americans hostage.

00:08:04.680 42 million alone on SNAP benefits, which the Democrats would love to see nothing more

00:08:11.780 than these recipients whose monies might run out at midnight tonight to take to the streets

00:08:19.400 and riot, as some have suggested they would.

00:08:21.840 I think that's probably part of the Democrats master plan.

00:08:26.700 They've always got some mischievous devilish plan in their back pocket.

00:08:33.060 And who's to say that this is not just part of that plan?

00:08:38.000 So maybe Donald Trump is right now.

00:08:41.340 John Thune, it doesn't seem as on board.

00:08:43.060 He's rejected now numerous times going nuclear.

00:08:45.820 But if President Trump forms his coalition and his Republican Party and his senators around

00:08:55.580 it, I think Thune might not have a choice.

00:09:01.900 Now, that is if those Marxist Democrat senators who have been voting with the Democrats decide

00:09:11.300 to come on board.

00:09:12.060 Now, Thune has said before he doesn't have the vote.

00:09:13.860 So it may be because of that.

00:09:16.040 It may be because Susan Collins, who, quite honestly, has had that seat for far too long. 0.97

00:09:21.140 She's got to go.

00:09:22.520 Or Lisa Murkowski, another one who's got to go and they got to get rid of that ranked choice 1.00

00:09:26.880 voting in Alaska to allow these people to stay there.

00:09:31.180 Now may be the time.

00:09:33.960 Mitch McConnell obviously leaving.

00:09:36.620 Rand Paul has just been an utter and total embarrassment and disappointment, letting his Trump

00:09:41.280 derangement syndrome, I mean, bleed through. 0.96

00:09:44.580 Just a total, total joke.

00:10:23.080 What's the deal?

00:10:24.480 Much, much more to come on The Great America Show.

00:10:26.180 Please stay with us.

00:10:32.900 Thanks, everybody, for staying with us here on The Great America Show.

00:10:36.100 We appreciate it.

00:10:36.800 Happy Friday.

00:10:37.360 Happy Halloween.

00:10:38.900 So just moments ago, a federal judge ordered the Trump administration to continue paying

00:10:43.720 for food stamps during the government shutdown, signing with local officials and nonprofits

00:10:48.000 that had sought to spare millions of poor Americans from losing their benefits in a matter

00:10:52.420 of days.

00:10:53.080 The decision came from Judge John McConnell of the U.S. District Court for the District

00:10:57.540 of Rhode Island, requiring that Trump and his administration tap a set of emergency reserves

00:11:03.680 to pay for these benefits, quote, as soon as possible next month.

00:11:08.480 Next month is tomorrow.

00:11:10.400 It's unclear if and when the money might actually reach the roughly 42 million who rely on this

00:11:15.140 monthly federal help or the amount that they would ultimately receive.

00:11:18.460 The Justice Department has not indicated it tends to appeal and did not respond to a request

00:11:24.220 for comment from The New York Times.

00:11:26.180 The White House also did not respond to a request from The New York Times.

00:11:31.160 And I guess I can't say I'm in the least bit surprised.

00:11:35.420 The legal wranglings concerning the Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program snap without last

00:11:40.720 minute intervention.

00:11:41.480 The decades old safety net program was set to run out on November 1st.

00:11:44.980 So tonight at midnight, 42 million people were going to be left without possibly food or

00:11:51.620 bare necessities.

00:11:53.440 Now, this is part of it.

00:11:54.800 What about our service members?

00:11:56.240 What about our you hear me say this every day?

00:11:58.100 Our air traffic controllers.

00:11:59.240 Are those people just supposed to live off of what?

00:12:06.040 I mean, where are those people supposed to to get their money?

00:12:09.260 So this I think you can add in with the with getting rid of the filibuster to open this

00:12:17.920 thing up again.

00:12:19.680 I think that the point was made of what needed to be done, that the government spending is

00:12:25.340 out of control.

00:12:26.320 Now, I understand.

00:12:28.140 You know, I've been haranguing Rand Paul here.

00:12:30.400 I understand the government spending is out of control and we've got to get it under control

00:12:34.220 for sure.

00:12:34.880 And there needs to be a serious conversation about it.

00:12:40.320 But you're going to vote with the Democrats is not going to save that.

00:12:43.160 It just makes you look like a total a-hole to put it nicely. 0.98

00:12:48.040 You're not making any statement.

00:12:49.540 We all know it's a problem.

00:12:51.660 And the problem needs to be fixed.

00:12:53.300 You voting with the Democrats is not going to fix that problem.

00:12:55.820 I promise you.

00:12:58.260 You're making a deal with the devil. 0.95

00:13:00.500 You're cutting off your nose to spite your face. 0.98

00:13:02.760 You're spitting into the wind.

00:13:05.140 Any more metaphors should I use?

00:13:06.840 You guys get it.

00:13:08.840 So I'm not sure what is up his sleeve or what his problem is.

00:13:12.400 But he's had this problem with President Trump since he's come back in.

00:13:16.800 He's had a big problem with President Trump blowing up drug boats, which I take big issue

00:13:20.980 with.

00:13:22.660 Take big issue with Rand Paul on it, not Trump.

00:13:24.900 Whereas Rand Paul had no issue with Barack Hussein Obama launching drones into the Middle East

00:13:31.340 into people he didn't know who they were killing then.

00:13:33.820 That's his big issue.

00:13:35.180 He doesn't know who we're killing on these ships, these ships, these boats.

00:13:39.360 Let me put it into perspective.

00:13:40.700 A dinghy boat with four engines on the back with four people in it with massive blue drums

00:13:48.380 and packages taped in plastic wrap and tape that are dumped off the side of the boat and

00:13:56.740 the boats flee to then be picked up by somebody.

00:14:00.380 If these were migrant boats, Rand, do you think there'd only be four people on the boats?

00:14:07.520 I mean, we've all seen the videos of them pulling up to the shores of Miami and Key West

00:14:11.540 with like 150 people, not literally, but the boats packed to capacity.

00:14:17.980 Who do you think is on those boats, Rand?

00:14:21.060 Do you think it's fishermen?

00:14:23.520 Storing their fish in 100-gallon drums with a hole this big?

00:14:27.640 What, do you throw the fish in there?

00:14:30.340 Are they like cats, rats that can fit through tiny holes?

00:14:33.580 I don't think so.

00:14:34.520 They fish a lot.

00:14:36.300 So what is his issue with Donald Trump?

00:14:38.400 And why doesn't he become a man and come out and talk about what his real issue is?

00:14:46.120 Because he's had this chip on his shoulder about something.

00:14:51.520 I don't know what it is, but he should really come clean with the American people and the

00:14:57.580 Republican Party and let us know what's your issue with Donald Trump.

00:15:01.920 Be a man.

00:15:04.340 You got a big mouth?

00:15:05.400 Be a man and come out and tell us what it is.

00:15:08.400 But he's not.

00:15:09.740 And that's where I lose all respect for Rand Paul.

00:15:13.540 You can disagree with people all you want.

00:15:15.840 I've disagreed with President Trump on the Epstein file since day one.

00:15:19.300 And I come out here and I say it.

00:15:21.660 I agree with him on about 95 to 99% of everything else.

00:15:25.640 That was one of the only things I really disagreed with him on and how he's handled China with

00:15:30.120 regard to COVID.

00:15:30.900 It was another big issue that I took with him.

00:15:32.720 But we come out here and we talk about it.

00:15:36.900 We have dialect and we have dialogue and we discuss the issue and you try to find a resolution

00:15:41.260 towards it.

00:15:43.340 But Rand Paul has no intention of doing that.

00:15:46.800 Which leads me to believe that he's suffering from a severe case of Trump derangement syndrome.

00:15:55.340 That God only knows if it can be fixed.

00:15:57.180 And I feel bad for the guy because clearly he's he's troubled.

00:16:04.820 He's finding himself on the outside.

00:16:06.500 He's finding himself cuddled up with Thomas Massey.

00:16:10.280 Not exactly sure that's the man you want to be cuddled up to right now.

00:16:14.200 Hopefully poised to lose his seat.

00:16:16.540 Now, a lot of people think Thomas Massey is this great American because he comes out and

00:16:19.800 says things that sound good, look good.

00:16:23.260 He wears a little clip on his shirt that says the government debt.

00:16:27.500 Yeah.

00:16:27.620 Well, what have you done about it, Thomas?

00:16:30.620 You've since President Trump took office again, cried about the Epstein files.

00:16:34.440 Yes, we all have.

00:16:35.980 But that's the only thing you want to talk about, which you may be posted about four times

00:16:41.100 over the last four years of the Biden administration, which leads me to believe that you're just as

00:16:45.600 Trump deranged as Rand is.

00:16:47.660 So we did a little dive into Thomas Massey, who's been in Congress since November of 2012.

00:16:53.260 was when he was elected.

00:16:57.140 Okay.

00:16:57.540 So he's been there a decent amount of time, almost 14 years.

00:17:06.240 And according to GovTrack and congress.gov, he's proposed or sponsored 84 bills.

00:17:17.500 Zero.

00:17:18.260 So that's 84 bills in his 14 years.

00:17:26.000 Zero.

00:17:27.240 None.

00:17:28.040 Zero.

00:17:28.420 Nilch.

00:17:28.800 Nada.

00:17:29.780 Of the bills sponsored by Thomas Massey have ever become public law.

00:17:38.140 So pretty much Thomas Massey is just there blowing hot air.

00:17:41.020 He doesn't put up any meaningful legislation.

00:17:47.160 What is he doing?

00:17:50.260 Now, it could be Massey's got himself another job lined up because the writing is on the wall

00:17:57.720 and hopefully he loses his seat.

00:18:00.640 I mean, it's not really a time to play games with such a slim majority and the Democrats inflicting

00:18:08.740 so much pain on themselves. 1.00

00:18:11.460 We've got idiots like Thomas Massey out there trying to hurt the Republican Party. 1.00

00:18:18.220 It's got to be for a higher power. 1.00

00:18:19.820 He's not doing this for free.

00:18:22.080 Maybe he's doing it to try to get some clout.

00:18:23.780 Maybe it's a little insecurity of his.

00:18:28.000 Don't know. 1.00

00:18:31.100 But rather pathetic. 0.99

00:18:34.700 Of Mr. 0.98

00:18:35.580 Massey, like I said, hopefully his time is coming to an end in the halls of Congress.

00:18:43.320 Because we can't really tolerate much, much more of this, folks.

00:18:46.540 Folks, I want to take a quick break.

00:18:47.860 One more quick break on this beautiful Friday in America on this Halloween.

00:18:50.940 When we come back, Scott Bessett is going after Elizabeth Warren, and he absolutely torched her.

00:18:57.900 Amy Klobuchar, also on that list of people that he's taken hostage, taken victim of.

00:19:05.160 Kamala Harris in a podcast using some profane language.

00:19:08.800 Doesn't like President Trump or his ballroom.

00:19:10.960 What about the kids?

00:19:12.280 And the Teamsters Union is calling for an end to the Democratic shutdown.

00:19:16.960 The liberal Washington Post is blaming the Democrats.

00:19:19.540 As I said, folks, the Democratic Party is imploding.

00:19:25.720 But it's because of people like Rand Paul and Thomas Massey that the Republicans are not able to exploit it more because it seems the Republicans are not on the same page.

00:19:37.220 I mean, you've got John Fetterman, for God's sakes, voting with the Republicans.

00:19:40.960 Senator from New Mexico.

00:19:45.840 Another senator from Mexico, obviously not.

00:19:47.600 John Fetterman is from Pennsylvania.

00:19:50.240 And we've got Rand Paul, who consistently shows up on the D side.

00:19:55.760 Switch parties, bro.

00:19:57.620 Switch parties and go to the party that will love you and show you a lot of love, Rand.

00:20:02.300 So we're going to take a quick break here, folks.

00:20:03.460 On the other side, we've got all of that and much, much, much more.

00:20:06.540 Please stay with us.

00:20:07.240 We're coming right back.

00:20:13.980 Thanks, everybody, for staying with us here on The Great America Show.

00:20:16.880 Happy Friday.

00:20:17.660 If you're joining us on Rumble YouTube, please be sure to hit that like, subscribe.

00:20:20.720 If you're joining us on audio, please be sure to leave us a comment.

00:20:23.760 Please leave us a five star.

00:20:24.980 If you think it's good.

00:20:25.660 If you think it's bad.

00:20:26.760 Don't leave any stars, please.

00:20:27.980 Mike Johnson this morning was on Fox News and the Democrats 14 times have voted to prolong

00:20:36.720 this Schumer shutdown.

00:20:38.720 The Democrats have voted 14 times now to prolong all this pain on the American people.

00:20:44.400 And it is so frustrating to us.

00:20:45.940 That's what you see reflected in the president's truth post last night about the filibuster.

00:20:50.700 We just want this to end.

00:20:52.880 They do not deny that they the Democrats themselves, that they are they are prolonging this pain.

00:20:58.160 They admit to it.

00:20:59.400 They said they're using it as leverage.

00:21:01.180 The big question everybody needs to ask this morning is why they're trying to appeal to the

00:21:06.060 radical left Marxist rise in their party.

00:21:09.000 That is some total what this entire thing is about.

00:21:11.880 It is infuriating to us.

00:21:13.560 I think it's also Trump derangement center syndrome.

00:21:16.020 They don't want to give you all anything.

00:21:17.140 It's nice to hear Mike Johnson using the word Marxist.

00:21:20.800 You know, I'll never forget.

00:21:22.680 It's not a nostalgia kitchen.

00:21:24.580 Lou Dobbs calling me.

00:21:26.840 Had to be maybe three years ago.

00:21:30.260 Maybe four.

00:21:31.100 Actually, he got a can from Fox in 21.

00:21:33.820 So maybe four years ago when we first started this podcast, we started in November of 2021.

00:21:40.760 It's been five years.

00:21:42.100 We're coming up on five years now.

00:21:43.160 This podcast just over a year, I think, and a half of me hosting it.

00:21:47.140 Which has gone by so quickly and made wildly successful by you folks.

00:21:51.660 So we appreciate that.

00:21:53.420 But I'll never forget.

00:21:54.560 He called me up and he said, Lou's famous line was he called them radical dims.

00:21:59.980 He had this little southern accent.

00:22:01.800 So instead of saying dims, it came out as dims.

00:22:06.180 And he called them radical dims.

00:22:08.240 And for years, he went on Fox Business and he called them radical dims.

00:22:11.640 He calls me up one day and he goes, John, we're not calling them radical dams anymore.

00:22:17.380 So what are we calling them, sir?

00:22:19.500 We're calling them Marxist dams.

00:22:22.580 And I sat there and I laughed a little bit.

00:22:24.640 And I was like, all right, Lou.

00:22:25.720 All right.

00:22:26.400 I'm going to be on to something.

00:22:27.600 And I got to be honest.

00:22:28.360 I can't think of a single thing that Lou has told me, a single thing that he's told me about somebody or something or whatever that had not come true.

00:22:36.500 That man, I swear, had a crystal ball.

00:22:40.980 And he saw things that none of us on the outside saw.

00:22:48.720 I don't know what it was.

00:22:49.920 He had a knack on labeling people.

00:22:53.540 I miss him every single day.

00:22:57.080 He was the smartest man I knew.

00:22:59.480 The absolute most brilliant person I had ever met.

00:23:03.560 And I said, all right, Lou, we'll call him Marxist dams. 0.66

00:23:05.800 He goes, any tweet you put out from our Twitter, we're calling him Marxist dams.

00:23:11.140 And this was four years ago.

00:23:14.000 So we started, we started, we started.

00:23:16.080 And now, would you look at it?

00:23:17.540 Lo and behold, where 2026, this phone call was in 2021, you hear a lot of people calling up Marxist dams.

00:23:27.780 A man ahead of his curve.

00:23:29.820 I mean, there are so many things that I wish I could tell you guys of conversations we had, but I would never betray his trust, even up in heaven.

00:23:39.140 But he was so right about so many people, people that he knew, people that he'd bring on his show, that he'd end relationships with.

00:23:46.200 And I'd hear phone calls of Lou with these people.

00:23:51.580 And he didn't sugarcoat anything.

00:23:54.560 I'll never forget.

00:23:55.600 I sat in his office one time and he picked up the phone.

00:23:57.900 Somebody called him.

00:23:58.800 It was a member of Congress.

00:24:00.020 I won't say who it is. 1.00

00:24:02.620 And they had done something really stupid. 0.99

00:24:04.760 This member, they'd voted against President Trump on something. 1.00

00:24:07.380 They called Lou.

00:24:08.100 Lou went on a show and attacked that person.

00:24:10.000 They call him up the next day.

00:24:11.140 And he picks up the phone.

00:24:14.680 I'm sitting in his office and he picks up the phone and says, hey, Congressman, he was always respectful.

00:24:21.860 Addressed him by their Congressman, Senator Titles was very respectful person, picks up the phone and says, hey, Congressman.

00:24:29.140 The Congressman explains why they voted against this bill against President Trump.

00:24:32.900 And Ali will never forget.

00:24:35.840 Lou goes, partner, you need to grow the F up or grow the hell up.

00:24:42.420 And said, take care and hung up the phone.

00:24:45.320 They said, Lou, who was that?

00:24:46.860 He says, well, it was Congressman so-and-so.

00:24:49.240 And I go, you're lying.

00:24:50.760 He goes, partner, have I ever lied to you?

00:24:52.660 I go, now that I think of it, no, you haven't.

00:24:54.440 But I think you're lying right now.

00:24:56.980 He turns his phone around on his desk.

00:24:58.900 The landline phone at Fox.

00:25:03.120 He goes, pull up the caller ID.

00:25:04.740 You know how to do it.

00:25:05.460 I pull up the caller ID.

00:25:07.640 And the congressman's name was on the top of the phone call.

00:25:11.800 And I busted out laughing.

00:25:15.020 I mean, almost crying.

00:25:17.400 And he was so mad at me that I didn't believe him.

00:25:19.640 But that's who he was.

00:25:22.440 I mean, he was the realest person in the world. 0.84

00:25:24.680 Look, he didn't kiss nobody's butt, but he was so respectful. 0.94

00:25:30.140 He was so damn respectful to everybody. 0.94

00:25:34.120 From the people who cleaned the hallways to the security guards.

00:25:39.860 You know, he didn't know somebody's name.

00:25:42.200 He called him sir.

00:25:44.260 But he was as real as they came.

00:25:46.980 Sorry, I didn't mean to go off on that tangent there.

00:25:48.800 But, you know, it's you don't really hear stories about people who are like him.

00:25:54.500 I work for a lot of people.

00:25:57.100 And I never worked for somebody.

00:25:58.800 I will never have a boss.

00:26:01.260 Not that we have one here.

00:26:02.960 I wish I did.

00:26:04.820 But I'll never have a boss like the great Lou Dobbs.

00:26:07.680 I mean, it was just so damn brilliant.

00:26:09.400 And he was such a decent human being.

00:26:12.520 So we'll get off of that tangent.

00:26:14.000 But I wanted to tell you guys those stories.

00:26:15.560 And a lot of you guys watched Lou for 20, 30, 40 years.

00:26:20.600 50 years in some cases.

00:26:23.180 So a lot of you guys, you know, who never got to meet him.

00:26:25.960 You know, I like to bring you guys in to let you guys know who he was.

00:26:29.500 And he got a bad rap from the mainstream media.

00:26:32.180 They label him a racist or this or that.

00:26:34.720 And he was in the least bit any of that.

00:26:38.600 Not in the slightest.

00:26:39.440 I wouldn't have followed him out of Fox News if that's who he was.

00:26:44.760 So.

00:26:45.860 So nostalgia on this Friday.

00:26:48.280 So many people calling for these Marxist dams to just finally give it up.

00:26:52.160 Teamsters union president runs a massive operation in the union at the White House calling out the Marxist dams.

00:26:59.860 Look, the bottom line, and we took a position.

00:27:01.480 I represent 1.3 million working men and women in this country for the international brotherhood of teams.

00:27:06.260 Because we took a position three weeks ago, pass a clean CR, get to the table, negotiate a deal.

00:27:11.580 Do not put working people in the middle of a problem.

00:27:14.200 They should not be in there.

00:27:15.420 And we got to think about the families that are going to be affected.

00:27:17.820 Think about when you have to tell your son or daughter they can't play sports because you're not getting paid.

00:27:22.580 Think about when you can't pay your mortgage.

00:27:24.260 Think about when you can't pay your tuition.

00:27:25.560 Put the politics aside, get to the table, negotiate a deal, pass a clean CR right now, and then figure out the problems moving forward.

00:27:34.780 And I want to thank the air traffic controllers.

00:27:37.400 I want to thank the aviation administration for all their hard work and sacrifice they make.

00:27:43.160 And look, security and safety of the airlines is paramount.

00:27:46.340 Let's not compromise the safety and security.

00:27:48.860 Pass a clean CR.

00:27:50.100 Thank you.

00:27:51.240 Spoken like a gentleman, spoken the truth.

00:27:54.160 President Trump was asked just a few hours ago when he landed.

00:28:00.720 By the way, I don't know a man who's got the stamina of President Trump all over Asia.

00:28:06.720 Back to D.C. last night to host a Halloween party on a plane this morning down to West Palm Beach.

00:28:13.200 I don't know a man who's got the energy that this man has.

00:28:16.320 He says he's open to meet with the Marxist and Schumer, whoever the hell they want to bring in.

00:28:21.520 Just open the government.

00:28:22.820 Are you going to meet with Democratic voters?

00:28:25.520 I'm always going to meet.

00:28:26.660 All they have to do is open up the country.

00:28:28.580 Let them open up the country and we'll meet.

00:28:31.580 We'll meet very quickly.

00:28:32.900 But they have to open up the country.

00:28:35.260 It's their fault.

00:28:37.000 Everything is their fault.

00:28:38.580 It's so easily solved.

00:28:40.520 You know, we have a number of Democrats that have already voted for this.

00:28:44.100 But the Republicans are very unified.

00:28:47.360 They're very strong and they want to do what's right for the country.

00:28:50.920 They don't want to see trillions of dollars wasted on people that came into our country illegally. 0.99

00:28:56.240 Many from prisons and many from areas that you don't want to even know about.

00:29:00.640 So we'd like to see this taken care of rapidly.

00:29:04.300 You have a lot of we have tremendous support.

00:29:08.520 But it's not even support.

00:29:10.120 It's common sense.

00:29:11.060 Open up the country.

00:29:12.980 Obamacare has turned out to be a disaster.

00:29:15.220 As I've been saying for years, it can be fixed or redone.

00:29:20.120 People don't get good health care and their premiums go up every single year.

00:29:25.640 So we should change it.

00:29:27.420 It's a disaster.

00:29:28.600 Obamacare is bad health care at a very high price.

00:29:33.260 Don't get me started on health care, Mr. President.

00:29:35.600 You folks have probably heard me talk about it way too much on this show and how much I pay for health care.

00:29:40.600 Very transparent.

00:29:42.560 But that's the new America we live in.

00:29:44.540 And it's all because of Obamacare that has sent premiums soaring higher.

00:29:47.700 You know, it's a good day when the Washington Post editorial board is blaming the Dems for the shutdown.

00:29:54.060 EBT disruptions also.

00:29:56.400 Quote, it is wrong that the Democrats have held the government hostage.

00:30:00.780 The editorial board on Wednesday wrote that Congress should have funded the government for a full year.

00:30:04.980 Otherwise, families will go hungry as key programs such as food stamps will soon expire.

00:30:10.920 It's nice to see.

00:30:13.100 Kamala Harris, folks, who seems to be running for president again. 0.81

00:30:16.600 We can't wait.

00:30:19.240 A little profane meltdown.

00:30:22.380 We apologize for the profanity.

00:30:25.320 We try not to use those words, but I like to show people's true colors and who they really are.

00:30:30.880 Take a listen to Kamala. 0.98

00:30:32.420 Are you fucking kidding me? 0.98

00:30:33.520 This guy wants to create a ballroom for his rich friends while completely turning a blind eye to the fact that that babies are going to starve when the SNAP benefits end in just hours from now. 0.99

00:30:46.600 Come on.

00:30:47.800 So what? 0.99

00:30:48.340 I'm not going to be distracted by, oh, does the guy have a big fucking hammer? 0.99

00:30:53.840 What about those babies? 0.99

00:30:56.160 Right.

00:30:57.160 What is she even saying? 0.99

00:30:59.660 The woman is brain dead. 1.00

00:31:01.500 Maybe she should go look at why the government is shut down and the majority of what side keeps voting to keep it shut down. 0.98

00:31:12.700 I know numbers and knowledge and IQ is not Kamala's thing. 1.00

00:31:20.100 Not much of an IQ woman, but she should just go look at those numbers and she'll say pretty easy to see that the majority is voting to keep the shutdown going. 1.00

00:31:31.400 And that's the Marxist Demps and a Republican.

00:31:40.580 Very, very sad, folks.

00:31:42.120 That is all for us tonight, folks.

00:31:44.040 That's all for us this week on The Great America Show.

00:31:46.420 We hope to see you back here Monday for The Great America Show.

00:31:50.300 Hope I have a great weekend.

00:31:51.720 Stay safe trick-or-treating tonight.

00:31:52.980 If you live in Chicago, I wouldn't go trick-or-treating or New York, for that matter, or Memphis or L.A.

00:32:01.220 I mean, we could keep going.

00:32:02.620 We hope to see you back here Monday, folks.

00:32:04.120 Be safe this weekend.

00:32:05.120 Have a great weekend.

00:32:06.580 Don't get in any trouble on Mischief Night.

00:32:08.720 Well, I guess that was last night.

00:32:09.860 Don't do anything mischievous tonight for Halloween.

00:32:13.060 See you back here Monday, folks.

00:32:14.240 Until then, may God bless you.

00:32:16.020 May God bless America.

00:32:17.100 And may God bless the great Blue Dobbs.

00:32:19.060 We'll see you Monday.

00:32:22.980 We'll see you next week.
