00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Foster with this Great America Show midday update for Thursday, June 19th.
00:00:05.420 Caroline Levitt at the White House today giving her press briefing says President Trump is giving
00:00:10.780 Iran a few more days, two weeks to be exact, to get up to the table and make a deal before he 0.65
00:00:16.920 makes a decision on if he gets involved in this war with America or not. She says a deal is on 0.82
00:00:22.580 the table, but if Iran doesn't want to make a deal, then that's fine. President Trump is open
00:00:26.540 to all options. Take a listen. So the president is always interested in a diplomatic solution to the
00:00:32.720 problems in the global conflicts in this world. Again, he is a peacemaker in chief. He is the peace
00:00:37.700 through strength president. And so if there's a chance for diplomacy, the president's always going
00:00:41.820 to grab it. But he's not afraid to use strength as well. I will add. Francesca. Thanks, Caroline.
00:00:47.160 What exactly would a deal with Iran need to entail? No enrichment of a uranium. And it would absolutely 0.79
00:00:55.120 not Iran is not absolutely not able to achieve a nuclear weapon. The president has been very clear
00:01:00.520 about that. And by the way, the deal that special envoy Whitcoff proposed to the Iranians was both
00:01:06.240 realistic and acceptable within its terms. And that's why the president is is sent that deal to
00:01:13.100 them. Glad to hear. And I think a lot of people are glad to hear that the Trump administration is
00:01:17.460 still trying the diplomatic outlets before they do have to perhaps do anything differently or perhaps
00:01:25.020 get into the war themselves and bring America into it. President Trump going after Fox News
00:01:31.000 earlier this morning, firing off some blasts at Rupert Murdoch's media empire on his social media
00:01:35.940 platform, Truth Social. President Trump writing, quote, the crooked Fox News polls got the election
00:01:41.840 wrong and I won by much more than they said I would. And it would have been biased against me for years.
00:01:47.160 They always are wrong and negative. This has gone on for years, but they never changed the
00:01:51.920 incompetent polling company that does their work. Now a new Fox poll comes out in the morning this
00:01:57.600 morning, giving me a little more than 50 percent at the border. And yet the border is miraculously
00:02:02.360 perfect. Nobody was able to come in last month. 60,000 people came in with Sleepy Joe in the same
00:02:08.680 month last year. I hate fake polls. One of the worst, but Fox News will never change their discredited
00:02:15.480 pollsters. And speaking of immigration, immigration and customs enforcement ICE agents are now
00:02:21.900 facing a 500 percent increase in assaults as they attempt to locate and arrest illegal aliens
00:02:27.240 living inside the United States. Department of Homeland Security recently released data shows
00:02:32.320 that this is happening. Unbelievable that the Marxist Dems have put a target on these people's backs
00:02:39.340 as all they are trying to do is simply their job. And a new poll out. 62 percent of Democrats,
00:02:48.120 they want their party's leadership replaced and believe they are too focused on woke issues like
00:02:54.140 transgender rights. Reuters and Ipsos pollsters found this new survey. Only 24 percent don't want
00:03:01.860 a leadership change. Another 14 percent didn't have an opinion on the matter. Just 17 percent of
00:03:07.460 Democrats. So it says allowing transgender people to compete in women's and girls sports should be a
00:03:12.200 priority. 28 percent of Democrats think the party leaders see it as such. The Marxist Dems have gone
00:03:18.420 as far left as they possibly can over the course of the last eight years. And the American people,
00:03:26.400 I think, overwhelmingly are rejecting it. And you see that with Donald Trump in this last election.
00:03:31.340 He won resoundingly, overwhelmingly on issues such as the border, on issues such as keeping men out of 1.00
00:03:38.900 women's and women's sports. And you see the polling now with Donald Trump that he's still ahead on
00:03:44.360 these issues. And the Marxist Dems just don't get it. But that's fine. Let them keep digging
00:03:48.600 themselves into this hole that they're eventually not going to be able to get out of. They're doing
00:03:54.840 irreparable harm to their party and to America. And the American people continue, continue, and continue
00:04:01.160 to reject it. And it's why they will continue to keep losing elections.
00:04:05.380 Promises made, promises kept, blue-collar Don. President Trump has created the largest blue-collar
00:04:12.360 wage growth in nearly 60 years, folks. 60 years. Blue-collar workers have seen real wages grow almost
00:04:20.880 2 percent in the first five months of President Trump's second term, a stark contrast from the
00:04:25.240 negative wage growth seen during the first five months of the Biden administration, according to new
00:04:30.640 economic information. There was indeed a 1.7 percent pay increase in real terms, according to the
00:04:36.500 Treasury Department. President Richard Nixon was the last commander-in-chief to see an actual increase
00:04:41.740 in positive growth for blue-collar workers. Folks, that was back in 1969. Nixon only saw 0.8 percent
00:04:49.460 growth during his term in office, meaning Trump is outpacing him so far by nearly double in just five
00:04:55.500 months, folks. Donald Trump is America first. Donald Trump is for the American worker.
00:05:01.340 The Marxist Dems just can't seem to handle it. And they want to destroy America. But we won't let
00:05:06.020 them do it. Folks, please be sure to join us each and every day for The Great America Show and The
00:05:10.260 Great America Show Midday Updates. I'm John Fawcett. But this is Midday Update. Have a great day, everybody.
