00:00:04.960 Happy May, folks. Those April showers, hopefully, will start to bring some May flowers.
00:00:10.680 Some big news out of the White House this morning. We have our first departure.
00:00:14.500 That's right. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and his deputy Alex Wong will be departing the White House this afternoon.
00:00:21.280 You may recall Mike Waltz. He was at the center of the SignalGate leak chat.
00:00:24.960 That was when Jeffrey Goldberg, that Marxist leftist of the Atlantic, somehow added to a group chat talking about plans to bomb Yemen.
00:00:33.880 Multiple people saying that the White House will be removing Waltz, his deputy Wong, and much of the team at the National Security Council
00:00:41.680 because of unhappiness throughout the national security establishment about how they are doing.
00:00:47.220 It's also been revealed, another interesting tidbit, Waltz expected firing is unrelated to the SignalGate

00:02:57.460 The Senate vote to eliminate President Trump's tariffs has failed, despite three GOPers siding with the Marxist Dems.

00:03:10.580 Democrats ran into an attendance problem, I guess we could say.
00:03:13.840 Senator Sheldon Whitehouse was absent, along with Senators Mitch McConnell,
00:03:17.360 who had voted in favor of similar bills reversing tariffs on Canada earlier this month.
00:03:22.940 Maybe they ran into car trouble? Who knows? Maybe somebody spoke to them.
00:03:26.420 Senator Rand Paul, turns out he's a rhino, has sponsored a resolution that would have terminated all of President Trump's tariffs,
00:03:34.240 including those on America's top adversary, China.
00:03:38.180 The vote deadlocked to 49-49, meaning it failed by one vote.
00:03:42.460 But there were three Republicans who voted to stab President Trump in the back to end those global tariffs.

00:03:52.260 and you've probably guessed the last one in this last three seconds.

00:04:21.560 Now, I want to tell you why it just makes zero sense on Rand Paul's part as for what he's trying to do.
00:04:28.060 Even if the bill passed, it faced almost certain defeat in the House of Representatives.
00:04:32.880 In addition, Republicans have also recently voted to make it harder for lawmakers to take up resolutions
00:04:38.300 related to Trump's tariff authority.
00:04:41.880 And did he seem to forget about the veto power that the President of the United States has?

00:04:49.000 What Rand Paul did was absolutely stupid, and it was stupid to make the Republicans look that way.

00:04:59.180 And the long-awaited United States and Ukraine deal to sign for rare-earth minerals has finally been signed.
00:05:07.080 Earlier this year, President Trump announced he would be demanding Ukraine provide the United States
00:05:11.480 with access to its vast reserves of rare-earth minerals in exchange for continued military and financial assistance.
00:05:17.900 The deal will grant the United States privileged access to new investment projects
00:05:21.520 to develop Ukraine's natural resources, including aluminum, graphite, oil, and natural gases.
00:05:27.120 This was the deal that was set to be signed when Zelensky came to the White House just about a month ago.
00:05:32.080 And through his temper tantrum, President Trump recently met with Zelensky in the Vatican
00:05:37.320 for the funeral for the Pope.
00:05:41.000 Unsure if that's where the deal was made, but it would make for a pretty damn good story, wouldn't it?
