00:00:04.180 Happy Thursday, folks. The bells are ringing in Vatican City, just outside of Rome, Italy,
00:00:10.540 6 o'clock local time, 6 p.m. local time, I should say, just after 12 o'clock Eastern time,

00:00:20.720 White smoke poured out of the Sistine Chapel chimney, which means we have a new pope.
00:00:26.100 Well, Cardinal Robert Prevost, an American missionary who spent his career ministering in Peru,
00:00:31.960 leads the Vatican's powerful office of bishops, was elected the first American pope
00:00:36.380 in the nearly 2,000-year history of the Catholic Church.
00:00:41.480 Prevost, who's now officially the new pope, will take on the name Leo XIV as his new name.
00:00:47.980 President Trump, in an earlier-than-usual press conference in the Oval Office this morning,

00:02:28.740 To get a REAL ID, you just have to go to the DMV and prove that you're an American citizen,
00:02:33.660 whether you have a green card, a passport, a birth certificate, a Social Security card.

00:02:38.060 So, as long as you're an American citizen, a U.S. citizen, you should have no problem.

00:03:35.060 The FBI, this afternoon, has decided they're going to launch a criminal investigation
00:03:39.460 into New York Attorney General Letitia James over mortgage fraud.
00:03:43.780 The FBI and U.S. Attorney's Office in Albany have opened formal criminal investigations
00:03:48.700 examining the real estate and mortgage transaction of Letitia James,
00:03:52.240 according to law enforcement sources being briefed on the matter.
00:03:55.860 It's unclear why U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi steered the referral to New York's Northern District.
00:04:01.180 Although James is a statewide elected official with offices in Albany,
00:04:04.760 the transactions that she was taking part in involve her personal property and purchases
00:04:08.720 and loans that were processed in New York City and Virginia.
00:04:12.500 Some of the transactions also may fall outside the federal statute of limitations,
00:04:16.740 although one of the mortgages involved in James' assessment
00:04:20.080 is a loan document related to her 2023 purchase of a resident in Virginia.
00:04:25.480 Last month, you may recall, the Trump administration criminally referred James
00:04:28.980 to the Justice Department over accusations of mortgage fraud.
00:04:31.660 The Federal Housing and Finance Agency, FHFA, accused James of falsifying records,
00:04:37.480 citing a five-unit property in New York.
00:04:40.000 She claimed it was only four units in order to get a more favorable loan.
00:04:44.680 This is exactly what she went after Donald Trump for, wasn't it?
00:04:48.140 I guess retribution is coming, but it's coming in the form of, as I keep saying,
00:04:53.860 truth, justice, and the American way.
00:04:55.800 There's no laws being broken here.
00:04:57.300 Tish James broke the law, and she must be prosecuted now,
00:05:01.620 because that's what she said about Donald Trump.
