The Great America Show - TRUMP AND MUSK ARE NARROWING IN ON GOVERNMENT SLUSH FUNDS

00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody, and welcome to The Great America Show.

00:00:05.200 It's great to have you with us today.

00:00:06.600 Thank you so much for joining us.

00:00:08.740 Happy Friday, everybody, and happy Super Bowl weekend.

00:00:11.460 I hope you are all planning on spending the weekend with your friends and family,

00:00:14.700 enjoying a great Super Bowl, hopefully free of any cheating by the refs.

00:00:19.220 I'm not saying they've done that before,

00:00:20.720 but there's been accusations that the refs are more favorable towards one team and one side. 0.97

00:00:26.440 And I'm not saying it's a side of Taylor Swift's boyfriend, but I'll let you make the determination.

00:00:32.340 So happy Friday once again, folks.

00:00:33.720 Let's get into today's show. 0.99

00:00:35.620 One of the Democrats' resident mental patients, they have many lunatics in their party. 0.96

00:00:42.020 Al Green, starting impeachment. 0.98

00:00:43.860 I have lost count what impeachment.

00:00:46.060 We'll call it impeachment number one of 47.

00:00:49.000 Take a listen to Al Green on the House floor.

00:00:52.040 Why Donald Trump will be impeached once again, so he says.

00:00:56.440 I rise to announce that the movement to impeach the president has begun.

00:01:03.700 I rise to announce that I will bring articles of impeachment against the president

00:01:09.220 for dastardly deeds proposed and dastardly deeds done.

00:01:14.780 I also rise to say that the impeachment movement is going to be a grass-up movement, not a top-down.

00:01:24.400 The people have got to move forward.

00:01:26.920 The people have to demand it.

00:01:28.760 And when the people demand it, it will be done.

00:01:31.260 I did it before.

00:01:32.640 I laid the foundation for impeachment.

00:01:35.040 And it was done.

00:01:36.720 Nobody knows more about it than I.

00:01:38.480 And I know that it's time for us to lay the foundation again.

00:01:43.140 On some issues, it is better to stand alone than not stand at all.

00:01:48.080 On this issue, I stand alone, but I stand for justice.

00:01:52.980 I yield back the balance of my time.

00:01:55.040 The gentleman yields.

00:01:55.740 I guess these folks haven't really learned their lesson.

00:02:00.280 When you go up to Donald Trump, it only makes him stronger.

00:02:03.400 Dastardly deeds?

00:02:04.780 I thought impeachment was high crimes and misdemeanors.

00:02:08.020 I guess I'll agree not much of a constitutionalist.

00:02:10.620 I'm not even sure he knows what dastardly deeds means because it makes absolutely no sense

00:02:14.460 in the context of impeaching a president of the United States.

00:02:18.960 But we'll let him have his two minutes of fame.

00:02:21.600 As he said, he does stand alone.

00:02:23.880 Hopefully, the normalcy wing of the Democratic Party sits aside and lets this man self-destruct.

00:02:32.680 Another Marxist demo is absolutely losing it.

00:02:35.260 Governor Gavin Newsom of the great state of California. 1.00

00:02:39.300 It could be great, again, if they get rid of this fool 0.99

00:02:43.000 and the rest of the people who are tearing down that great state. 0.99

00:02:46.820 Gavin Newsom has some words for the California fire victims who want to rebuild.

00:02:51.860 He says you simply can't rebuild the same.

00:02:54.000 You have to rebuild with climate reality in mind.

00:02:57.300 Take a listen.

00:02:58.400 You previously mentioned the timeline for rebuilding would be six to nine months.

00:03:02.740 Is that going to happen?

00:03:04.240 And should people rebuild in some parts of California, given how high the fire risk is?

00:03:11.060 You can't rebuild the same.

00:03:11.960 So we have to rebuild with science.

00:03:13.980 We have to build with climate reality in mind.

00:03:16.060 We have to look at infrastructure, redundancy systems, ingress, egress as it relates to emergency management and planning,

00:03:22.560 materials, all of that has been reviewed and reconsidered.

00:03:26.860 And with the latest iterations in terms of understanding and technology.

00:03:31.500 And I say technology in the context of how, again, we build the infrastructure to keep it safe,

00:03:37.480 to address undergrounding of lines, how we address the larger issues of redundancy in terms of systems.

00:03:43.160 But more important than anything else is the need to get the debris removed.

00:03:47.580 30 days to do the hazardous waste.

00:03:50.460 We want to get six to nine months, the rest of the debris done.

00:03:54.000 Concurrently, people are getting permits.

00:03:55.780 So this is all happening, rolling together.

00:03:58.100 And we want to see construction very shortly.

00:04:00.760 And in the next few years, we want to see hundreds, thousands of homes rebuilt.

00:04:04.580 But I think there's a big question.

00:04:07.020 Unbelievable.

00:04:07.420 I really weep for those people in California.

00:04:10.560 And I really hope that the folks who voted for this left-wing tyrant have learned your lesson.

00:04:16.300 I mean, how much are you supposed to put up with?

00:04:18.300 How long are you supposed to put up with this?

00:04:20.900 You can't go back to your homes for a month.

00:04:22.680 There's nothing there.

00:04:23.940 It's ash and debris in most cases.

00:04:27.000 These people have nothing to go back to.

00:04:28.960 And they can't go back to find any remnants of their homes or any remnants of, you know, collectible items that they've kept.

00:04:37.560 It's truly a disgrace on behalf of this government of California.

00:04:41.280 And I don't even say the federal government because Donald Trump's doing all he can to try to help these folks.

00:04:45.160 But I truly hope, you know, they often say it takes a catastrophe or something like this to happen for people to open up their eyes and realize people don't have to build their homes differently.

00:04:55.580 It's simple.

00:04:56.080 Let's turn on the water.

00:04:57.180 If we put a man on the moon, we can put some pumps that run some water up to the hills of California and Los Angeles to pump some water up there.

00:05:06.780 There's absolutely no excuse.

00:05:08.420 We're the smartest nation in the world.

00:05:11.400 Silicon Valley has among the smartest people on this planet, innovators, developers.

00:05:16.280 And you're telling me we can't get water from the ocean, from anywhere, to flow up to these homes so that this doesn't happen.

00:05:23.640 We can't clean up the forest and the wildfire management prevention.

00:05:27.740 To make it so that these fires are less likely to happen.

00:05:30.440 I understand, you know, we don't live in a perfect world and accidents do happen and things are going to happen.

00:05:35.500 But you're telling me out of all the things that we've done in this country, all the great innovations, and we can't figure out a way to get water up into the hills, the Hollywood hills, the hills of L.A. 1.00

00:05:47.420 I tell you, you're a damn liar. 0.99

00:05:49.660 And Tish James, as if she hasn't taken enough losses, she's had quite a few and put on a few pounds since Donald Trump has taken office again, knowing I think she's in trouble. 1.00

00:06:00.440 She's now going to go after Elon Musk, she says.

00:06:02.660 In a tweet, Tish James says, quote, Doge, the Doge Committee, has no authority to access Americans' private information or block critical payments.

00:06:12.120 Well, that's simply true.

00:06:13.660 Elon Musk is not blocking the payments himself.

00:06:16.000 The federal payments will go through President Trump and the Congress.

00:06:18.640 So, yes, you're absolutely right.

00:06:20.660 And Elon Musk has never claimed to be able to do so.

00:06:23.760 Quote, Elon Musk may be the world's richest man, but he is not above the law.

00:06:29.380 I intend to sue to stop this injustice.

00:06:32.580 Well, we know Tish James doesn't exactly have a perfect record when it comes to winning. 1.00

00:06:37.640 Maybe if you get a corrupt jury like President Trump got.

00:06:40.100 Yes, but I don't think Elon Musk is losing much sleep overnight from Tish James.

00:06:46.020 It's just not happening.

00:06:48.080 Not really a scary woman.

00:06:49.780 And President Trump has fired the far left Federal Elections Commission chairwoman Ellen Weitraub, but she's refusing to leave her post as FEC chair, saying that his dismissal of her is illegal.

00:07:02.620 Well, I got some words for the former chairwoman now.

00:07:07.800 She put out this tweet, quote, Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as commissioner and chair of the FEC.

00:07:13.760 See, there is a legal way to replace me as FEC commissioner.

00:07:17.560 This isn't it.

00:07:18.540 I've been lucky to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way.

00:07:23.000 Yeah, we know that's not changing anytime soon.

00:07:26.160 Yeah, we know you were able to stir up some good trouble.

00:07:27.900 We had stolen elections 2020, which is going to get relitigated for the sake of all the people who are right, such as the great Lou Dobbs and many, many others.

00:07:39.200 So I'm not sure what her plan is, but she's got to go.

00:07:42.980 See you later.

00:07:44.060 Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

00:07:45.940 The swamp needs to be drained.

00:07:47.680 And you, ma'am, are the swamp.

00:07:50.400 Our guest today is the great congressman of the great from the great state of Tennessee, Tim Burchett, great friend of the show, a great friend of America and a great friend of the MAGA movement.

00:08:00.860 Congressman, happy Friday.

00:08:01.940 Happy Super Bowl weekend. 0.96

00:08:03.020 Ken, I want to start with first thanking you, not for all you do and for being the big mouth on Capitol Hill, and that's a great thing as a big mouth myself, but for what I contribute to being the man who got Jim Acosta fired, for letting the world know how dumb that man really was.

00:08:19.800 For anyone who hasn't seen it, Tim did an interview with Jim Acosta.

00:08:22.880 It was about 10 minutes long.

00:08:24.040 And Tim's probably one of the most well-mannered, patient guys on Capitol Hill, and it took Jim Acosta eight minutes out of the 10 minutes to finally get to him and annoy the hell out of him, and Tim just let it rip.

00:08:39.680 Tim, do you have any last words for Jim Acosta as he goes off to be an independent journalist now?

00:08:45.140 Well, I've got no ill will towards anybody.

00:08:48.480 He used to be in Knoxville at a WBIR, and I knew him then.

00:08:53.160 I wasn't, you know, we've had those interactions in the past.

00:08:57.340 I always feel like when I'm on CNN, they ought to write me a check for $300 because that's probably what their therapist charges them every hour.

00:09:05.860 It usually results in something like that.

00:09:08.780 And I don't know.

00:09:10.420 I guess that one just hit a nerve.

00:09:11.660 It went viral, and President Trump was talking to him.

00:09:15.520 I ran into him yesterday after the prayer breakfast, and we talked for a good bit about it.

00:09:21.120 And he told me he'd send it to like 100 of his friends or something.

00:09:25.940 I don't know.

00:09:26.880 But it was just, it's kind of surreal, really.

00:09:30.160 I mean, I'm just a kid from public.

00:09:33.780 My family, my mom and daddy were public educators.

00:09:36.620 And, of course, daddy fought in the war.

00:09:38.100 Mama flew an airplane. 0.99

00:09:39.000 I mean, they're pretty, well, I won't minimize their contributions to this great country.

00:09:45.300 But I'm a pretty average guy.

00:09:47.960 You know, I never was the first guy to get picked for kickball.

00:09:52.220 And outside of my incredible good looks, you know, I just rely on my humor a little bit.

00:09:59.860 You know, I don't feel bad.

00:10:00.920 I was never either.

00:10:01.720 I could kick the ball far.

00:10:02.660 But by the time I got the first base, it could have been over the fence, and I was out.

00:10:06.100 So there was no winner for me.

00:10:08.480 I want to turn to the Marxist left.

00:10:12.380 Your colleagues are absolutely going insane about Elon Musk and this doge committee that I think you sit on now.

00:10:18.900 Let's start with first this whole general services administration.

00:10:23.100 President Trump ordered them to cancel every single media contract.

00:10:27.220 And this came now after we find out that Politico was funded $8 million by USAID.

00:10:33.700 Let's start with President Trump calling on the GSA to cancel these media contracts.

00:10:38.280 To me, it's why are we giving taxpayer money to a media source?

00:10:47.580 If we'd have given it to – that's why we need to start cutting NPR and the rest of those groups.

00:10:53.980 If we were to give that money to, say, a Fox News or a Newsmax or any of the OAN or any of them, my gosh, people would come unglued.

00:11:04.320 And anyway, I just don't see – I don't see our tax – and, you know, the poor people up there in Upper East Tennessee and North Carolina are still living in tents after Hurricane Helene. 0.95

00:11:19.200 This is pathetic.

00:11:21.060 And the Biden administration pushed through a bill to give them $100 million fee. 0.99

00:11:25.340 I didn't do it because I knew they'd just steal it and waste it.

00:11:28.980 And those people still haven't seen anything.

00:11:30.820 You've got these wonderful Amish folks up there building houses for them.

00:11:35.500 And then FEMA stepped in and said, oh, you can't do that.

00:11:38.600 You know, but Trump stepped in and he – they told me the next – they said, Trump's up there.

00:11:45.380 A buddy of mine is kind of an independent news guy up there.

00:11:49.420 And he said, Trump's here.

00:11:52.220 And he said, Army Corps of Engineers cleaning roads and cleaning ditches.

00:11:56.500 And I was like, amen, brother.

00:11:57.840 Good for them.

00:12:00.340 You know, it's like just an outrage to me.

00:12:04.680 Why the American people, why these Marxist leftists are so against it?

00:12:08.900 I'm reading something the other day going through some of the things.

00:12:12.120 Second group of migrant criminals, including one trend-day agro-killer, sent to Guantanamo Bay. 0.96

00:12:16.220 How can any honest, hardworking American be against this?

00:12:20.020 Former UPenn athletes sue school, Ivy League, to vacate transgender swimmer, Leah Thomas, collegiate records.

00:12:26.500 Another thing we can all agree on, how could any honest, hardworking American be against this?

00:12:32.560 It's things like this that just doesn't make any sense to me.

00:12:35.780 And it seems Elon Musk has struck every single possible nerve inside the Democrats.

00:12:43.000 USA –

00:12:44.000 Let me correct you on something.

00:12:46.180 It's not all Democrats.

00:12:48.580 These are my old union buddies that, you know, they'll drink a little beer and cuss a little bit.

00:12:55.000 And they'll be out shooting rabbits with you on the weekends.

00:12:58.720 They, and they're begrudgingly, their wives drag them to church, a lot of them. 0.99

00:13:04.740 And, but, you know, they don't buy into this garbage. 0.97

00:13:07.880 And that's, that's, they're leaving that portion of the Democrat Party, you know, out. 0.91

00:13:13.500 And I believe it's a great opportunity for Republicans to, to, to bring them into our tent.

00:13:18.440 Because that's, that really should be our backbone is working folks, because we believe in America and we believe in the American way.

00:13:25.660 And all they're doing is circling the wagons around a smaller and smaller group of Marxists.

00:13:31.060 And that's their base.

00:13:32.480 And I hear people say, oh, we need to primary, or, you know, we need to beat AOC and, and, and all these others. 0.96

00:13:39.320 And I say, have y'all ever been to their freaking districts? 0.98

00:13:42.820 Leave them alone. 0.97

00:13:44.420 Let's concentrate on winning our races and let's, let's grow our majority.

00:13:48.960 We're not going to beat them.

00:13:50.340 We're going to replace them with another Marxist that's polished.

00:13:53.620 That's not going to happen.

00:13:55.080 So anyway.

00:13:56.740 Yeah.

00:13:56.820 There's some seats that are definitely safe.

00:13:58.700 I think you're probably in a safe Republican seat.

00:14:01.380 There's, you know, hundreds of safe Republicans, hundreds of safe Democrat seats.

00:14:05.040 It's just the way that it lies.

00:14:06.520 Uh, especially when you get outside the beltways of New York city and Newark, New Jersey and, uh, LA and San Francisco, you know, that whole sort of inner, um, America is for the most part, pretty damn Republican with the few inner cities, obviously Detroit and Chicago among two of the darkest blues, uh, blues, um, districts inside, uh, middle America.

00:14:29.060 But I, I think we're certainly chipping away at it.

00:14:31.800 Uh, Scott Pressler has done a hell of a job in Pennsylvania.

00:14:34.220 He's apparently now moving on to New Jersey, which, you know, five years ago, it wasn't a, uh, I think a viable place that we should be looking now.

00:14:42.060 I think after Senator Goldbar has been indicted and now going to jail, I think it's a place that we start to look at.

00:14:47.380 And then I think we're going to move the needle there a little bit.

00:14:50.020 Um, I want to turn to the U S U S aid staff.

00:14:53.000 10,000 of them are going to be cut globally.

00:14:55.700 President Trump valued to keep on a 300 of them.

00:14:59.080 This is another thing, Congressman, that doesn't make sense to me.

00:15:02.160 How could anybody be outraged about it?

00:15:04.400 I see where, you know, some of the money has gone to just a waste of money.

00:15:08.780 And this is all that we know so far.

00:15:10.500 And then I see Ivanka Trump used 11,000 of it to shoot a video for some sort of global initiative.

00:15:17.420 The Democrats, it makes no sense.

00:15:19.220 Ivanka Trump, let's be clear, great woman, a beautiful woman, but she's a Democrat at heart. 0.62

00:15:23.360 Her husband's a Democrat at heart.

00:15:24.740 It's what it is.

00:15:25.920 They don't fundamentally agree with their father.

00:15:27.860 And that's why they're not in the white house this time. 0.61

00:15:29.720 They, it is what it is.

00:15:31.400 It's fine.

00:15:32.020 You know, there's no harm, no foul, but the Democrats are going after her for using it on some sort of global food initiative, $11,000. 0.98

00:15:39.640 But they're not looking at how much money was given to Hillary Clinton, the Clinton foundation.

00:15:45.100 Your thoughts.

00:15:46.620 A hundred percent.

00:15:47.380 The Clinton foundation.

00:15:48.940 We need to go through that.

00:15:50.300 That is, that's been a briar under my saddle for a while with some of the things that they were doing and the money flowing in and where it was going.

00:16:00.620 And, and, and I don't feel like we've had the accountability.

00:16:03.100 I think you can do that all across the, all across the spectrum.

00:16:07.260 I have a bill to defund the Taliban.

00:16:09.780 You're going, wait a minute.

00:16:10.480 We're funding the Taliban up to 40, more than actually $40 million a week.

00:16:14.720 We're sending them with your tax dollars.

00:16:17.940 And these are the type of programs that we're finding time and time again.

00:16:21.580 And the reason they're pitching a fit is because somebody in their family or their, or their wife and or girlfriend is working in some of these agencies.

00:16:32.540 And Washington is crooked as a dog's leg.

00:16:35.720 It is not a swamp. 1.00

00:16:36.800 It is a sewer.

00:16:38.020 And it needs to be cleaned up.

00:16:39.300 And Donald Trump is doing that.

00:16:41.720 And Elon, they're pitching a fit about Elon, the billionaire, billionaire, billionaire.

00:16:45.380 They never mentioned Soros, whose, whose involvement in DAs across the country, letting these dirt bags out and, and campaigns and, and his son now, you know, they just, they don't say anything about him.

00:16:58.860 That's, you know, then they, you're anti-Semitic.

00:17:01.060 And I'm saying, I don't know his religious beliefs.

00:17:03.420 That ain't my, that didn't even enter into it.

00:17:05.260 That, that, again, that dog don't hunt anymore.

00:17:07.580 People are onto it and it offends people across the board.

00:17:12.380 And, you know, and like I said the other day on some national news show, I said, you know, if I can't go to Columbia and enjoy a DEI transvestite opera paid for it at American dollars, taxpayers expense, I'm probably never going back to Columbia.

00:17:27.800 You know, that's the kind of things these, these Marxists are funding.

00:17:31.300 You know what we ought to be promoting through our state department and others?

00:17:34.440 Two things, democracy and capitalism.

00:17:39.100 That's the two things we ought to be promoting.

00:17:41.720 And that's, that is it.

00:17:44.140 And, you know, USA was originally formated, formatted probably for a good purpose, altruistic as, as it is, to go over in areas, desert areas, reforest deserts, things like that.

00:17:58.440 Deliver vaccines to people for malaria, things like that.

00:18:03.920 Feed hungry people, teach them how to take care of themselves.

00:18:08.120 And, you know, and that's exactly what the UN is supposed to do. 0.97

00:18:10.560 And that's where we ought to just pull our ass out of the UN as well, because that's just a nightmare. 0.66

00:18:15.240 And then they're going to show this one program where they, you know, they're giving oatmeal to starving people somewhere in Timbuktu or something. 0.96

00:18:23.580 Right.

00:18:23.840 And it just doesn't, you know, and that's, and that's what the media will be, your MSNBCs, The View, those windbags over there.

00:18:31.680 That's what they'll be concentrating on. 1.00

00:18:33.340 So it just doesn't, it never ends with these idiots. 1.00

00:18:37.660 What do they say? 1.00

00:18:38.400 No good deed ever goes undone.

00:18:40.100 And I think that's just the truth.

00:18:41.380 You know, like you said, I mean, it started with a good, a good theory in mind, but the corruption and rot in Washington, D.C. always seems a way to seep through.

00:18:48.680 We're talking with Congressman Tim Burchett of the great state of Tennessee, the free and fair state of Tennessee, I should say.

00:18:54.300 Also home to Nashville.

00:18:55.540 If you haven't been to Nashville, we encourage you to go check the place out.

00:18:59.020 We're coming right back with him.

00:19:00.020 Stay with us.

00:19:00.500 We're coming right here in the US.

00:19:30.500 Get our 2025 six-piece MyTowel sets for only $29.98.

00:19:37.100 Our initial quantities are extremely low, so get them now before they go.

00:19:41.940 And our best-selling standard MyPillows, just $14.98.

00:19:46.000 So go to MyPillow.com or call the number on your screen.

00:19:49.060 Use this promo code to take advantage of our first ever mega sale.

00:19:52.900 But wait, remember that $75 free shipping rule?

00:19:56.800 Well, that ship is sale because right now, every order ship's absolutely free.

00:20:01.880 Folks, we're back.

00:20:05.220 We're talking with Tim Burchett of the great state of Tennessee, Congressman.

00:20:08.580 Congressman, I want to turn to Elon Musk finding something else.

00:20:12.520 Now, we often hear about, in elections, Medicaid and Medicare and Social Security.

00:20:16.520 Well, it turns out Elon Musk has started his digging into it.

00:20:19.860 From Elon Musk, Doge are ready to audit the CMS, the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services.

00:20:26.660 They have our only access, but will be able to identify fraud, waste, and abuse.

00:20:30.120 That's the only access they will have.

00:20:31.860 CMS has 6,700 employees and dispersed $1.5 trillion in 2024, 22% of the budget.

00:20:38.260 CMS has made $100 billion of improper payments in 2023, according to the GAO, the Government Accountability Offices.

00:20:46.580 That accounts for 43% of all improper payments.

00:20:50.700 Now, Congressman, this is an issue that Republicans constantly lose on.

00:20:55.240 Medicaid and Medicare and revamping the whole thing, and everyone says, don't touch it, don't touch it.

00:21:00.080 What if the proof is just right in the pudding?

00:21:03.100 That, again, you're fading the machine.

00:21:05.860 It reminds me of Ronald Reagan, following this little journey with me.

00:21:11.080 He found out to deliver $1 to certain folks, and it cost $2.

00:21:19.520 So he cut that delivery system out, and then they said, oh, he just cut $100 billion from some charity, and that's not the case at all.

00:21:30.820 He cut the delivery system.

00:21:32.220 He made it more efficient.

00:21:33.220 And that's exactly what they'll try to do with this.

00:21:36.140 We'll cut this antiquated, corrupt system out, and they will pitch a fit again because they're getting fat off of it, and America knows it, and it's time to change the tune.

00:21:49.760 Yeah, you know what?

00:21:51.520 I think the smartest thing he's done is this federal, aside from the Gaza, not even buying, taking over Gaza, which I think is probably the smartest thing he's ever done or ever said. 0.64

00:22:00.480 But this is perhaps the second smartest thing he's done, and that's the government buyout of these contracts.

00:22:05.240 Now, I have a buddy who works in DHS, and I got this text message from him last night.

00:22:09.040 It's not just these other agencies which need the cutting out.

00:22:12.280 This is a man who works at DHS.

00:22:13.920 I want to read you this text message.

00:22:15.040 Dude, I was hoping I would be eligible to resign from the federal government with what Trump put out.

00:22:19.940 Fork in the road, but my agency is ineligible, which is DHS. 0.99

00:22:23.520 I want to get away from this shit show where I work. 0.99

00:22:25.480 I wish someone could put a bug in Gnome's ear to check out this place and how bad it really is run. 1.00

00:22:30.860 Our management needs to be fired.

00:22:32.740 Now, this is a man who constantly sends me text messages about what they're doing DEI-wise and all this stuff.

00:22:38.600 And I've got to be honest with you, Congressman, it's one you would see in a private corporation.

00:22:44.740 Can we get some sort of investigation into every single agency about how they're being run, who's running it, and the things that they're pushing down their employees' throats?

00:22:54.140 Yeah, they are, and we are.

00:22:55.880 And tell your friend that the cavalry is coming and just go take a little time.

00:23:01.180 You know, I did, though, when I was mayor of Knox County, I found we saved, I think, $40 million, which is nothing.

00:23:08.700 You know, we've wasted that since I've took my last breath in federal government.

00:23:14.400 But it was a great system.

00:23:17.660 It worked, and it's working now.

00:23:19.680 And it's going to save billions upon billions of dollars.

00:23:23.000 And it's going to free up a lot of space, and a lot of it's dead space as well.

00:23:29.840 Some of it is good, but most of it is not.

00:23:32.640 And, you know, you have these people that are calling, complaining because they have to come back to work.

00:23:38.020 You know, they're making them show up.

00:23:39.900 And how they can't do that, how they've moved to other parts of the country but are still working in another part of the country.

00:23:46.900 That's a real problem.

00:23:47.920 You know, and those people, I mean, you know, got to grow up, man.

00:23:54.800 You got to grow up and just get with the program.

00:23:59.260 And this is just another thing that boggles my mind.

00:24:01.540 How are you a government employee, and you're refusing to return back to work?

00:24:05.980 Literally, the disrespect that this government has allowed, Congressman, the walking all over, I mean, the grandstanding, who do they think they are?

00:24:14.160 At the end of the day, Congressman, we're all replaceable.

00:24:16.700 You're probably a little less replaceable than me because you're in a great district, but I'm extremely replaceable.

00:24:22.760 Everyone is replaceable, and Donald Trump knows that, and he's said it before.

00:24:26.420 Sure.

00:24:26.580 Who do these people think they are?

00:24:27.740 Some of them making $100 an hour, $200 an hour on government contracts, six-figure pensions, and they're walking around grandstanding like, you can't touch me.

00:24:35.280 I have tenure.

00:24:36.020 I have this.

00:24:36.600 I have that.

00:24:37.480 Well, as you said, I think the cavalry is coming.

00:24:39.880 Who do these people think they are? 0.61

00:24:41.300 They're very arrogant, and there's a new sheriff in town. 0.63

00:24:46.900 His name is Donald J. Trump, and he's getting ready to enforce the law.

00:24:51.040 And it's just common sense.

00:24:52.660 I mean, it is common sense.

00:24:53.980 It's like when he was signing that executive order saying that men can't play in women's sports.

00:25:00.200 He said, I shouldn't even have to do this.

00:25:02.640 This is just common sense.

00:25:04.060 But yet you had to, and then you got the left pitching a fit, anti-trans and all this stuff.

00:25:11.100 I just – I'm over all that.

00:25:14.280 America's over it.

00:25:15.680 And I mean, it's – they used to have these shows, the insult of the month.

00:25:20.360 I mean, this is the insult of the day.

00:25:22.120 I mean, when they expose this stuff, the amount of money that American taxpayers are paying, and that's why the left just doesn't get it.

00:25:28.580 They just don't get it, and the national media is – as they see their ratings tumble, they don't – it's obviously that they're getting ready to get it.

00:25:40.380 Yeah.

00:25:40.760 You know, it's sad.

00:25:41.780 This show, this little old broadcast does, on some episodes, better numbers than national broadcast media.

00:25:47.920 Tell us how we do that on a low-budget, low-run operation without the great Lou Dobbs.

00:25:53.760 I'll tell you how you do it.

00:25:55.020 Because it's the truth, and America is hungry for the truth, just like the desert's hungry for a raindrop.

00:26:01.500 It's just – and they've been denied it for so long, and they've been taken for granted, and they're not – and you all are not taking America for granted.

00:26:11.440 And that's why they're pitching such a fit.

00:26:12.860 I mean, you're right over the target, dude, and that's why they fire.

00:26:15.820 And I tell you what, this podcast and this social media stuff, it's the way of the – forget the national news.

00:26:24.840 Just forget your daily newspapers.

00:26:26.860 And they always say, well, they're going out of business because of the internet.

00:26:29.980 No, they're not.

00:26:30.680 They're going out of business because you all have repeatedly lied, and not you all, but the – 0.51

00:26:35.500 Yeah.

00:26:36.120 You know, your so-called legacy media, and they've taken us for granted.

00:26:41.160 And, you know, the fat cats don't care.

00:26:43.320 They're the guys that are the editors and publishers – well, maybe the publishers.

00:26:46.980 The editors don't because they're going to retire their golden parachutes.

00:26:51.240 It's the workers that are going to end up paying the prices.

00:26:53.940 They always do.

00:26:55.420 It's insane because all we ask from them and the American people want is for them to tell the truth.

00:27:01.520 And it seems they have such a hard time doing it.

00:27:04.040 The other night I'm on a plane from Atlanta to New York while that plane crashes in D.C.

00:27:08.620 And, I mean, I can't turn on an actual news network and get a story about what's going on.

00:27:14.020 Small plane crashes.

00:27:15.380 I watched the thing erupt.

00:27:16.500 I'm a Cessna pilot.

00:27:18.020 I know that's not a small plane, Congressman.

00:27:20.340 The next day, I want to crash in Philadelphia.

00:27:22.480 Small plane.

00:27:23.280 I watched this thing come out of the sky like a rocket.

00:27:25.580 I know that's not a small plane.

00:27:27.540 I mean, it took four days for them to come out and tell us who the pilot was of that Blackhawk.

00:27:31.780 What happened to the Americans' right to know?

00:27:34.140 There were 64 other people who died on that American Airlines plane who had nothing to do with it.

00:27:39.120 They were just sitting in their seat.

00:27:40.760 The two pilots flying that thing.

00:27:42.740 As a pilot myself, I can't fathom it because that's like the scariest thing you could possibly think of is a midair collision.

00:27:49.000 There's nothing you can do about it.

00:27:50.980 But yet the government took how many days to come out and tell us they wanted to preserve the right of the family.

00:27:57.280 Now we find out her whole social media profile was scrubbed.

00:28:00.120 There's no 27-year-old or 30-year-old person in this country, I'm sorry, that doesn't have a social media presence.

00:28:05.300 It just doesn't happen.

00:28:06.940 How are we back in this place in America?

00:28:09.960 Because we've allowed it.

00:28:11.360 We've allowed it.

00:28:12.260 And it's on us to change it.

00:28:15.680 And one election's not going to do it.

00:28:18.020 I can guarantee you the left's chomping at the bit right now developing a plan. 0.99

00:28:22.720 And we better get off this victory lap or they're going to kick our ass in the midterms. 0.97

00:28:28.200 Well, with David Hogg as the, what is he, the second in line at the DNC, I don't think the Republicans really have much to worry about. 0.98

00:28:35.220 I think you guys are in a really good place.

00:28:36.600 I want to take one more quick break here and next segment, a quick segment on the economy, the Trump economy and the tariffs.

00:28:42.100 We're coming right back with Tim Burchett.

00:28:43.300 Folks, stay with us. 0.87

00:28:43.960 I'm excited to announce that we're having our first ever mega sale on overstock clearance and brand new products.

00:28:52.140 For example, save over 50% on this season's flannel sheets.

00:28:56.360 Queen size only $59.98.

00:28:58.360 King's only $69.98.

00:29:00.780 They sell out fast every year, so order now.

00:29:03.700 Save 20% on our brand new MyCrosses.

00:29:06.620 They're designed in the likeness of the one I've worn every day for over 20 years.

00:29:10.700 They come in men's and women's, and they're made right here in the USA. 0.97

00:29:14.960 Get our 2025 six-piece MyTowel sets for only $29.98.

00:29:20.540 Our initial quantities are extremely low, so get them now before they go.

00:29:25.400 And our best-selling standard MyPillows, just $14.98.

00:29:29.440 So go to MyPillow.com or call the number on your screen.

00:29:32.520 Use this promo code to take advantage of our first ever mega sale.

00:29:36.640 But wait, remember that $75 free shipping rule?

00:29:39.940 Well, that ship is sailed, because right now, every order ship's absolutely free.

00:29:47.840 Folks, we're back.

00:29:48.700 We're talking with Congressman Tim Burchard of the great state of Tennessee.

00:29:52.000 Congressman, the Trump economy, it seems to be, is in full effect.

00:29:55.360 I want to start with U.S. employment rate fell to 4%.

00:29:58.140 The economy added 143,000 jobs in January.

00:30:02.500 Now, some will argue and say, well, he didn't take office until the end of January,

00:30:05.100 but he won the election in November.

00:30:07.040 So Americans knew what were coming.

00:30:08.600 What do you expect?

00:30:10.020 I'm trying to buy some stocks.

00:30:11.840 I don't have access to Nancy Pelosi's records.

00:30:14.500 What can you expect to see going forward with this economy and the rebound?

00:30:19.960 I think it's going to happen pretty fast.

00:30:22.020 I think you're going to see technology, of course, is going to be booming,

00:30:26.620 because we're going to try to consolidate a lot of manpower.

00:30:30.060 You don't need a guy out there making widgets when you've got computer technology that can do it.

00:30:36.840 I think we can see some real savings at the Pentagon, but they don't want it.

00:30:42.420 You have flightless, manless flights, things like that.

00:30:47.160 There's still room for people out there in flight,

00:30:51.840 but I think you're going to see it in combat situations where drone technology is going to fire surpass a man's ability

00:31:01.580 or a woman's ability to fly an aircraft, and it puts less Americans in harm's way. 1.00

00:31:06.620 I can't stress that end enough, and they'll be kicking and screaming, of course.

00:31:15.600 And Trump's the only one who could take on the industrial war complex,

00:31:20.400 or I'd like to call them the war pimps. 0.60

00:31:24.060 They've not passed the last eight audits.

00:31:26.660 They haven't even completed the last eight audits.

00:31:29.120 They cannot account for over a half a trillion dollars, and that's a battleship.

00:31:34.400 I mean, excuse me, it's an aircraft carrier that they can't account for.

00:31:40.880 And, you know, we've got a Department of Education, shut it down,

00:31:46.220 send that money, block grants to the states.

00:31:50.380 You know, more money is not the answer.

00:31:52.540 If that were the case, the kids in Washington, D.C., would all be Phi Beta Kappa,

00:31:55.960 the most expensive school system in the country per student, and some of the worst results.

00:32:01.300 So we've got – I think the results are out there, and we just need to express them better to the public.

00:32:09.620 Why would anyone be against abolishing – I almost said the IRS.

00:32:13.400 I'm all in favor of that as I just got a tax bill sitting here on my desk.

00:32:17.860 Why would anyone be against abolishing the Department of Education?

00:32:21.120 It seems so simple to me, Congressman.

00:32:22.780 If you live in, like, 48 states, you probably get a decent education.

00:32:25.920 If you live in two states, New York and California, you get a crappy education. 0.98

00:32:29.440 Your classrooms are filled with illegals who don't speak English. 1.00

00:32:32.200 The teacher has to spend all their time catering to these illegals who don't speak English, once again. 1.00

00:32:37.760 It seems like so mindless to me.

00:32:39.340 It's the Roe v. Wade of education.

00:32:41.960 Yeah, what it is is that when Jimmy Carter created it, he really didn't create it.

00:32:47.300 It was created, I believe, in the 1800s.

00:32:48.940 And he made it a cabinet-level position, and we've dumped trillions of dollars into it since then.

00:32:54.360 At that time, when Carter took over, we were number one in the world, and now we're, I think, 22nd to 28th, depends on who you're talking to.

00:33:01.980 And so, again, money is not the answer.

00:33:04.380 Send it to the locals.

00:33:05.660 Let them decide.

00:33:06.540 I much more trust those parents who the FBI label as domestic terrorists and your local school boards and your local state legislators than I do a Washington bureaucrat.

00:33:17.300 It's definitely not one-size-fits-all, and you're seeing that all across the country.

00:33:22.180 When I was mayor, we had one school.

00:33:25.080 I think there was like maybe 300 kids in it, and we had close to 20 different languages that were taught there.

00:33:31.000 So it's a real problem.

00:33:32.600 It's a real drain on the system.

00:33:35.100 So more local control, more parents' choice-type issues, I think, will clean a lot of that up.

00:33:43.640 And one last thing.

00:33:45.220 The labor unions ought to be for that because we'll pay the teachers more. 1.00

00:33:48.960 But they're not going to be because they're not for paying the teachers more. 1.00

00:33:52.540 They're for paying their fat cat leaders $300,000, $400,000 a year in these cushy jobs, and they can get up there and rant and rave like a bunch of idiots at a war rally. 1.00

00:34:03.180 Yeah. 1.00

00:34:03.880 You're absolutely right.

00:34:04.620 Folks, if you're joining us, you just heard the bell called for votes.

00:34:07.640 The congressman's got to go run to make some votes and spend some more money for Ukraine.

00:34:11.500 Well, not him, but the rest of his colleagues.

00:34:13.820 Real quickly, before we wrap up here, I just want to get your thoughts on these deportations.

00:34:18.060 How far can we get them to go?

00:34:19.780 We found out yesterday Tom Holman says we've had people impeding his investigations, tipping off these gangsters.

00:34:25.900 These aren't your kitchen staff and cooks and people working here in America to send money back home. 0.92

00:34:33.100 These are gangsters and thugs who are going to kill your family and make no mistake about it. 0.99

00:34:37.380 We're tipping them off. 0.99

00:34:38.600 What can we do about it?

00:34:39.780 Can we make it a federal offense?

00:34:41.680 This can't happen.

00:34:42.500 All we got to do is enforce the laws.

00:34:45.100 I saw where a Soros-owned radio station was giving out ICE locations and things like that.

00:34:52.040 And that's what we're up against.

00:34:53.460 And what you'll see is these illegals that are violent, they're going to move more and more to big cities like yours and less and less away from rural America. 1.00

00:35:03.420 So what y'all voted for is what you're fixing to get.

00:35:08.800 And that's a bad deal.

00:35:10.700 Yep, you're absolutely right.

00:35:11.620 Congressman Tim Burchard of the great state of Tennessee, thanks so much for joining us today. 0.99

00:35:15.400 Keep kicking ass, brother. 0.99
