00:00:21.580Hopefully, the summer is around the corner.
00:00:24.860The weather up here in the Northeast hasn't exactly been summer-like,
00:00:28.620But hopefully it plans to turn around soon. Some big news tonight, the Trump administration over the past few weeks, week predominantly, we're talking about the lawsuit that President Trump had, that 10 billion dollar lawsuit against the IRS, in which he planned to settle it in order to give back to the people who have been weaponized.
00:00:51.900So today we got some news that the Trump administration is planning to drop the Department of Justice's nearly $2 billion, $1.8 billion anti-weaponization fund in face of legal and political pushback, according to some news outlets out of D.C.
00:01:07.760As I said, this fund was created as part of a settlement of President Trump's $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS intended to compensate people who were purportedly victims of political overreach, persecution, prosecutorial overreach by the DOJ under the Biden administration.
00:01:26.580Now, we know how many people became political prisoners, January 6th is alone.
00:01:34.760But that aside, we know how many people became political prisoners under the Biden administration.
00:02:17.000As a matter of fact, they're rather expensive.
00:02:18.700And the lawyers that were needed to defend themselves against this Biden Justice Department that had unlimited money was vast.
00:02:28.040So I think we saw this as a way for people to get their get back, level the playing field a little bit.
00:02:37.180Now, in addition to the DOJ creating the fund, the settlement included an agreement that protected President Trump and his family members for any further enforcement actions,
00:02:44.840including audits related to their tax violins before the deal was made because they've went
00:02:50.300after President Trump for years, legally released his tax returns, will probably go after his
00:02:58.760businesses and his kids' businesses long after he's out of office, which is why I get so frustrated
00:03:05.260that such little has been done at the Department of Justice. Now, hopefully it's starting to change
00:03:10.060with Todd Blanch there, but that such little has been done at this Justice Department
00:03:15.680after how profuse they went after President Trump, because they're going to do it again,
00:03:22.900for sure. Now, the reports that the fund was being put on ice came after House Speaker Mike
00:03:28.100Johnson met with President Trump at the White House about the money. John Thune, of course,
00:03:34.900came out and said, quote, I don't think it's the best way to handle it. The administration decides
00:03:39.020to shut it down themselves now axios reported this afternoon and quoted a senior administration
00:03:45.060official saying the fund is dead for now punch bowl news which is also a very good outlet on
00:03:50.780capitol hill they get the inside scoop better than anybody says the administration is expected
00:03:56.200to announce that they're going to comply with the court order and not go forward with the
00:04:00.040weaponization fund now on friday a federal judge blocked the doj from taking any action to create
00:04:35.700wherein the court stated that under no circumstance may the Department of Justice
00:04:39.440proceed with the anti-weaponization fund recently established in order to make up
00:04:43.580for the tremendous abuse, harm, and hate unfairly shown to many people.
00:04:48.500This fund was open to anybody who was weaponized against, targeted, or persecuted,
00:04:52.860whether they were Democrat, Republican, conservative, independent, or otherwise.
00:04:56.920They say the department will abide by the court's ruling.
00:04:59.940So this ruling from this rogue Marxist judge only put a temporary stay on the fund, not a permanent one, but the White House apparently conceding it completely.
00:05:10.740The reason I take a little bit of issue with it is because it was John Thune who told reporters this afternoon that he wanted the White House to shut it down, saying, quote, I made my views very clear on the issue.
00:05:29.940So, listening to John Thune, who is 100% a rhino, is where I take issue with it.
00:05:42.380If this were the root President Trump wanted to take, that's fine.
00:05:47.720But listening to John Thune would have been the last thing that I would have done.
00:05:52.800And, you know, the idiotic part about it all, we'll call it $2 billion to round up, is that in 2024, when Joe Biden came out and said he was spending nearly $7.5 billion in student loan debt for 275,000 people, where was the pushback from the Democrats?
00:06:22.800nine percent of all outstanding federal student loan debt to be canceled by Joe Biden,
00:06:28.360to which the Supreme Court rolled on, said he wasn't allowed to do it.
00:06:33.520Where was the pushback then from Chuck Schumer?
00:06:38.180Of course, there was none because the Democrats stay in United.
00:07:08.840And I guess why should it be any different if people are going to put up with it?
00:07:14.560John Thune weaseled his way into the position as Senate Majority Leader.
00:07:18.700I guess I went already late at the time, through, of course, a closed-door vote, because that's what they do, closed-door where the senators don't have to reveal who they voted for, and then they can go back to their district and say, I didn't vote for Thune, and I think it was Katie Britt, I believe, was one of them, if I'm wrong, I apologize, but I believe it was Katie Britt who came out and swore up and down.
00:07:45.280she voted for rick scott and they were all in for rick scott and then it came time for the votes
00:07:51.860and the numbers just didn't add up the numbers weren't numbering people were lying which i think
00:07:59.700furthers a reason why there needs to be more transparency out of the senate and the house
00:08:04.060why should there be any closed door vote why should any vote be done
00:08:08.700without full exposure to the american people i say this all the time we pay their salaries
00:13:31.760Why was that the case then? I guess that's a question for another day.
00:13:37.660Now, President Trump and the Trump administration have framed this executive order as an attempt to enforce federal voting laws, which President Trump says the executive branch is obliged to do under Article 2 of the Constitution.
00:13:50.560Imagine that, a president able to legislate laws about elections.
00:13:56.200i don't think that's too crazy to ask for now the marxist dems who are suing claimed in court
00:14:04.000that the order can fringe on constitutional rights of states to regulate their own elections
00:14:08.080nichols rules claim that it's speculative at the moment since nothing has been done
00:14:12.720nichols however did not rule on the merits of the democrats argument so they could demand an
00:14:17.680injunction again over the fence once the federal government uh begins the process of actually
00:14:21.580implementing the executive order, which I assume will start to come soon with the
00:14:29.080midterm elections right around the corner. Now, one of the primary concerns raised by
00:14:34.600the Marxist Dems is the executive order directs DHS to use Social Security Administration data,
00:14:39.880which they claim contain eras, could therefore deprive eligible voters on their roll.
00:14:44.980Well, I'd argue it probably has errors, yeah, but the errors would probably be on the side of the Marxist Dems.
00:14:55.200I mean, we saw through Doge in the auditing process how many dead people were allegedly receiving Social Security benefits.
00:15:03.660So I don't know why the Democrats would use that as an argument.
00:15:07.680Now, President Trump's order requires that citizenship lists be transmitted to states within 60 days of federal elections.
00:15:13.640and provides opportunities for individual states to correct the list as necessary
00:15:17.660in order to address the concerns about data inaccuracies.
00:15:22.000I don't think that's too much to ask for.
00:15:24.22060 days, give us your list, and we're going to make sure these people are alive.
00:15:27.020We're going to make sure they're citizens of the United States or America.
00:19:14.880So back to what I was saying, with every good lawsuit comes a bad one and with every good one comes with every vice versa, a bad one with a good one and a good one with a bad one.
00:19:24.980Got a little tongue tied there. It's Monday.
00:19:27.000So the Pentagon policy legally, what we're being told, that banned transgender troops from military service, according to a divided panel of federal appeals court judges that ruled Monday in another setback for President Trump in his fight against the woke culture.
00:19:42.560The majority opinion by a three-judge panel, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, said that President Trump's administration policy was designated to exclude people from the military based on their gender identity.
00:19:54.660Ban remains in effect. The U.S. Supreme Court allowed the Pentagon to start enforcing it last year as litigation played out.
00:20:02.100The panel's new ruling would keep military from kicking out current service members named in the lawsuit, but wouldn't allow new transgender recruits to join.
00:20:10.400Judges put their decision on hold, though, and let the administration seek further review.
00:20:15.060Appeals court panel, a two-to-one decision partially upheld the 2025 ruling by U.S. District Judge Anna Reyes in D.C.,
00:20:22.240concluded that Trump's executive order to exclude these trannies from the military likely violates their constitutional rights.
00:20:29.220I think it comes at an interesting time with Pride Month here.
00:20:37.220it's for those of you guys who haven't realized it is officially pride month so uh make sure you
00:20:43.420you know you make everybody of the pride community feel included make sure you go out of your way to
00:20:49.740to let them know uh they're better than all of us and um you know if you don't uh adhere to their
00:20:55.440ways um you're a bigot you're a racist you're a xenophobe you're a transphobe um am i missing
00:21:03.400any i think i'm probably missing a few uh but yeah make sure you you got your way to let them
00:21:08.220all know how happy you are that they're with us and that we adhere to their ways now over the
00:21:15.140weekend i did some some traveling uh for some work uh caught a baseball game on friday night
00:21:21.340in cincinnati and as you can see there on the right of the screen cute little kid probably
00:21:26.400seven years old six or seven years old um came up to the to the where the players were doing
00:21:33.680batting practice and of course the cincinnati reds as well as i'd be remiss if i didn't say
00:21:39.000other ball teams across the major leagues celebrating heritage gay heritage um gay pride
00:21:46.440i should say um sent their their mascots out with sashes with the rainbow pride flag as well as
00:21:53.860putting it all over the entire stadium to let everyone know that this is what
00:26:58.220President Trump attempted to reassure Americans that gas and oil prices will go down once the conflict of Iran over the emphasize that the purpose of the conflict was to keep Iran from developing nuclear weapons, which is obviously a very, very big part of it.
00:27:13.300So where do the negotiations sit tonight? Nobody really knows with the latest setback with Iran, with Israel deciding to start bombing Lebanon again.
00:27:26.780As peace talks were apparently progressing, but who knows? We've been told they're good. We've been told they're going bad.
00:27:34.940We've been told we got a deal tomorrow. We've been told there's no deal.
00:27:39.420So the longer this drags on, the more it's going to hurt and it's going to start hurting, I think, President Trump.
00:27:48.000If it hasn't already in the eyes of some voters, and I think it's been a massive divide in the party just on this alone.
00:27:54.680So the longer I think it drags on, the less beneficial it is for President Trump, the less beneficial it is for the midterm elections and the Republicans.
00:28:08.420The American voters are not happy with gas prices.
