00:00:00.000 Hello, everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show midday update for Tuesday, November 4th.
00:00:05.320 You know what day it is, folks? The first Tuesday in November.
00:00:08.640 That means it's Election Day. A lot of big, heavily contested races happening throughout the country.
00:00:14.920 A programming note tonight will be live for the Great America Show at 9 p.m. Eastern Time
00:00:18.640 with Mark Mitchell of Rasmussen. Reports will be joined by a great array of guests.
00:00:24.080 One of them will be the great Roger Stone to take all the issues up in the elections and much, much more.
00:00:29.360 Among the highly contested elections, of course, right here in New York City,
00:00:34.560 the race for mayor between self-described communist Marxist psychopath Zohan Mamandani
00:00:41.480 and Andrew Cuomo, the man who killed tens of thousands of elderly people in nursing homes during COVID,
00:00:47.860 among other races. The attorney general's race in Virginia, the governor's race in Virginia,
00:00:52.120 Winsome Sears, doesn't look poised to pull out the race.
00:00:55.840 We'll see, at least according to some of the most recent pollings, doesn't look too good for there.
00:01:00.820 A race that does perhaps look good for Republicans, possibly the governor's race in New Jersey,
00:01:05.840 Jack Cittarelli and Mickey Cherrill facing off there.
00:01:10.060 Latest polling shows that race narrowed down to within a point in the closing days of that race.
00:01:15.820 So we'll be monitoring those races live tonight for the Great America Show, 9 p.m. Eastern Time,
00:01:21.020 Rumble, YouTube, Twitter, wherever you guys join us for that.
00:01:24.320 We'll be breaking down all the races with Roger Stone, with Mark Mitchell, some other guests.
00:01:29.960 Like I said, all those races across America tonight for the Great America Show.
00:01:34.040 In other election news, President Trump posting on Truth Social this afternoon
00:01:37.960 that California's redistricting effort and the votes that are underway right now
00:01:42.160 are very serious legal and criminal review.
00:01:45.760 California is heading to the polls and the ballot boxes and mail-in ballots and voting machines
00:01:50.160 and all that good stuff this afternoon in California on Prop 50, which is Newsom's power grab,
00:01:55.300 to eliminate five GOP congressional seats through 2030.
00:01:59.020 Trump called the redistricting vote in California a giant scam and it's under criminal review.
00:02:04.800 Posting on Truth Social, quote,
00:02:06.260 the unconstitutional redistricting vote in California is a giant scam in that entire process,
00:02:11.920 in particular the voting itself.
00:02:14.060 It's rigged.
00:02:15.200 All mail-in ballots where the Republicans in that state are, quote,
00:02:17.840 shut out is under very serious legal and criminal review.
00:02:21.700 Stay tuned.
00:02:22.960 California Democrats rolled out over the summer their new congressional map
00:02:25.960 that eliminated those five GOP house seats.
00:02:27.780 in response to the redistricting efforts and fights in Texas and other states.
00:02:33.540 California voters will decide in the special election on November 4th
00:02:36.900 on that new congressional map.
00:02:39.360 Because of ballot harvesting drops, mail-in ballots, drop boxes,
00:02:43.440 without the chain of custody and any other questionable ballot curing,
00:02:46.700 the 2024 election gave California 43 Democrat House seats and just nine Republicans.
00:02:53.600 Now the Democrats want to get rid of five of them.
00:02:55.920 I don't think it's going to work out too well for the Marxist Dems,
00:03:00.800 who are under criminal review, as President Trump says.
00:03:04.720 President Trump announcing this week that the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program,
00:03:08.500 also often referred to as SNAP,
00:03:10.740 will remain on hold until Democrats reopen the federal government,
00:03:14.460 blasting Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and his radical left allies
00:03:17.880 for deliberately prolonging the shutdown to score political points.
00:03:22.160 The government shutdown, which is now entering its fifth week,
00:03:25.140 has become a political standoff between President Trump,
00:03:27.920 who insists on financial and fiscal responsibility,
00:03:31.620 border enforcement, and the Senate Democrats who refuse to pass a clean funding bill
00:03:35.880 without billions in additional welfare spending and carve-outs for illegal aliens.
00:03:40.980 President Trump's folks say that the Democrats are using SNAP recipients as pawns,
00:03:45.860 deliberately blocking appropriations to create headlines blaming the administration for hunger,
00:03:50.600 while ignoring the reality that SNAP spending exploded by nearly 40% under Biden
00:03:55.220 due to the loose eligibility standards and rampant fraud.
00:03:59.040 Conservatives have long warned that Biden's reckless expansion of food stamp programs
00:04:03.580 and the eligibility allowed millions of non-citizens and unverified applicants
00:04:08.220 to receive benefits intended for low-income American families.
00:04:13.560 Leave it to the Democrats, folks, to do something like that. 0.73
00:04:17.200 And America's second least favorite vice president, maybe first in some people's eyes,
00:04:22.300 Dick Cheney passed away this morning at the age of 84.
00:04:24.980 The Cheney family released the following statement that Dick was a great and good man
00:04:29.920 who taught his children and grandchildren to love our country,
00:04:32.400 to live the lives of courage, honor, love, kindness, and fly-fishing.
00:04:37.820 Cheney served as the 46th vice president of the United States from 2001 to 2009
00:04:41.920 under President George W. Bush, had embattled health issues
00:04:45.440 and been dealing with them for years since leaving office.
00:04:49.020 Cheney experienced five heart attacks and felt it was only a matter of time before he passed away.
00:04:53.000 Cheney received a heart transplant back in 2012.
