00:00:05.760 American taxpayers no longer going to be forced to serve as collateral, that's right.
00:00:10.920 Breaking news, the education department blowing a massive hole in the Biden student loan bailout program.
00:00:16.740 Education Secretary Linda McMahon said the Biden administration, quote,
00:00:20.300 misled borrowers when it canceled student loans.
00:00:23.840 Biden, of course, canceling $136 billion in student loans,
00:00:27.900 forcing the average wage earners to pay for other people's student loans.
00:00:32.320 Education Secretary Linda McMahon saying no more.
00:00:36.320 The American taxpayers are no longer going to serve as collateral for irresponsible student loan policies.
00:00:43.020 Department of Education will begin collecting payments on defaulted student loans on May 5th.
00:00:48.600 The new policy will impact an estimated 5 million borrowers who have not made any monthly payments since March of 2020.
00:00:56.280 Federal student loan payments were halted in March of 2020 because of the COVID pandemic.
00:01:01.760 Payments were set to resume in October of 2023, but millions of borrowers are still in default.

00:01:32.600 That turned out to be about $10,000 in student debt for borrowers who earned about $125,000 a year or less

00:03:07.320 Bacon, who's an Air Force, a former Air Force general, who now chairs a cybersecurity committee,
00:03:12.020 launched into the media-friendly tirade on Monday, criticizing Hegseth's qualifications,
00:03:16.800 and repeating a since-refuted New York Times report that claimed Hegseth used Private Signal app
00:03:22.640 to discuss classified military operations in Yemen with his family.
00:03:27.780 The rhinos are just as big a problem, folks, as the Marxist Dems.
00:03:33.060 And President Trump lacing into the Supreme Court this week,
00:03:36.560 in an unprecedented move, the Supreme Court at 1 a.m. on Saturday
00:03:39.680 temporarily blocked the Trump administration from deporting Venezuelan illegals
00:03:43.760 onto the Alien Enemies Act.
00:03:45.320 The ACLU on Friday frantically ran to two district courts,
00:03:49.980 as Venezuelan illegals in Abilene, Texas, were reportedly being loaded up on buses to be deported.
00:03:56.140 After the Trump-appointed judge in the Northern District of Texas refused to take emergency action,
00:04:02.040 the ACLU ran to Judge Boasberg.
00:04:05.100 That's right, Boasberg in D.C.
00:04:07.500 Boasberg, of course, held an emergency hearing and told the ACLU lawyers
00:04:11.860 that he didn't have jurisdiction over the plaintiffs in Texas.
00:04:15.320 Well, then the ACLU, of course, leapfrogged the courts
00:04:18.380 and begged the Supreme Court to intervene in an emergency application.
00:04:23.320 The Supreme Court temporarily halted the deportation,
00:04:27.000 Alito and Thomas dissenting,
00:04:29.260 and stopped the Trump administration from deporting a group of Venezuelan illegals.
00:04:33.180 President Trump said he was elected to remove criminals from our country
00:04:36.900 and that the courts are intimidated by the Marxist left.

00:04:42.560 But the Democrats are having issues of their own.

00:05:58.560 We had, of course, a Medicaid Matters Day of Action, a safe Social Security Day of Action.
