The Great America Show - Wednesday Update： April 23, 2025

00:00:00.000 Hello everybody, I'm John Fossett with this Great America Show midday update for Wednesday, April 23rd.

00:00:05.580 Vladimir Zelensky, I don't know what the heck can be done with this man, or what's got to be done,

00:00:10.320 or where he's got to go, or where he's got to resign to, or where he's got to flee to,

00:00:14.180 but Zelensky has once again rejected the peace deal framework reportedly proposed by the Trump

00:00:19.160 administration of freezing the lines of the conflict and recognizing Crimea as Russian territory.

00:00:24.720 Planned peace talks in London on Wednesday were downgraded as it's become clear that major fault

00:00:28.640 lines remain over what an acceptable end of the war would look like. According to the reports,

00:00:33.920 last week in Paris, Washington's negotiators put forward an outline of a deal that will end the

00:00:38.960 conflict, which includes America's recognition of Russia's ownership of Crimea, which Moscow has

00:00:44.640 controlled since 2014. That's right, this wasn't under even Joe Biden, this wasn't under President

00:00:49.940 Trump, this was under Barack Hussein Obama. So since 2014, and it's an area that's traditionally under

00:00:55.760 the Russian sphere of influence, they speak Russian, their culture is Russian, everything about

00:00:59.860 them is Russian. So this should be an easy one for Vladimir Zelensky to just end the war, right?

00:01:04.920 Seems that Zelensky doesn't really want the end to the war, as he has suggested. You guys remember

00:01:10.860 just a few weeks ago when he came to the White House and acted a fool because he didn't want to end 0.97

00:01:15.600 the war, acting like a big tough guy. We'll see what happens. President Trump asked yesterday 0.97

00:01:22.100 evening the Oval Office about the Epstein documents. President Trump deferring to Attorney General

00:01:27.920 Pam Bondi. Take a listen. Speak to the Attorney General about that. I really don't know. I know

00:01:33.160 that we've done, we've done the RFK, the Kennedy, Martin Luther King is out there very shortly. So

00:01:40.400 we'll find out. And we've, we've really, really announced, uh, uh, we're doing them in full

00:01:47.800 transparency. You know, when we did, uh, JFK, people would say, Oh, maybe it wasn't all. It was

00:01:54.760 all. And people actually went up to the office and they looked at some things that were, you know,

00:02:00.180 not really easily available. And they were amazed that we, we gave it all. And, uh, I don't know if

00:02:07.280 it solved any problems for people. People still have questions one way or the other, but that I'm not,

00:02:11.820 but 100% of all of these documents are being delivered. So it doesn't seem apparent if and

00:02:17.640 when we will ever get the full Epstein documents, uh, not holding my breath, especially when it's

00:02:23.280 under control of Pam Bondi. President Trump raising his stakes this week in the ongoing feud with one

00:02:29.980 of the biggest DNC law firms in the country. Trump stripped the security clearances of the employees

00:02:35.340 of Perkins Coie back in March. You recall that crooked Hillary Clinton and Perkins Coie paid more than a 0.93

00:02:40.340 million dollars to hire an oppo research firm, Fusion GPS, to amplify the bogus Trump-Russia dossier

00:02:46.260 during the 2016 election. President Trump, uh, unrelenting, uh, on these Marxist Dems, President

00:02:52.560 Trump on Truth Social saying, quote, I'm suing the law firm of Perkins Coie for their egregious and

00:02:58.080 unlawful acts, in particular, the conduct of specific members of this firm, only to find out that the judge

00:03:04.300 assigned to this case, Beryl Howell, an Obama appointee and a highly biased and unfair 0.99

00:03:10.040 disaster. She ruled against me in the past and in a shocking display of sick judicial temperament 1.00

00:03:15.920 on a case that ended up working out very well for me on appeal. Her ruling was so pathologically bad

00:03:21.940 that it became, quote, talk of the town. I could have a hundred percent case and she would angrily 1.00

00:03:27.360 rule against me. It's called Trump derangement syndrome. She's just got a bad case of it. To put 1.00

00:03:32.260 it nicely, Beryl Howell is an unmitigated train wreck. No justice. So President Trump, 1.00

00:03:38.400 uh, unrelenting against these Marxist Dems who came after him in 2016 and again in 2020.

00:03:44.540 Well, Elon Musk's time may be coming to an end at Doge. We reported just a few weeks ago that,

00:03:50.200 uh, may, may be a likely, uh, month for Musk to step aside. Musk announcing yesterday

00:03:56.040 on a Tesla earnings call that he's going to reduce time spent on the Doge committee starting in May

00:04:01.200 to refocus on Tesla, getting that share price back up to where it was. Just in, second-ranked

00:04:08.120 Senate Democrat Dirty Dick Durbin announces his retirement. He will not seek re-election in 2026.

00:04:14.800 After 44 years embattled in the swamp, Senator Dick Durbin is calling it quits. He was first

00:04:20.100 elected to the U.S. House in 1982 and served seven terms before coming elected into the Senate in 1996.

00:04:26.800 The 80-year-old said that the age was a factor in his decision. I guess Durbin doesn't want to end

00:04:32.700 up like Mitch McConnell. He wants to go off into the sunset and make that money that these politicians

00:04:38.300 all consider doing once they leave office. Scott Besson, Treasury Secretary on Wednesday,

00:04:43.800 called for sweeping reforms at the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, urging the

00:04:48.560 institutions to abandon what he described as mission creep and return to their founding charters

00:04:53.340 focused on macroeconomic stability, trade, and development. Now, speaking of globalists,

00:04:59.360 the World Economic Forum is investigating the founder, Klaus Schwab, over corruption allegations.

00:05:04.180 Klaus Schwab, he should be a household name if you've been tuned into Lou Dobbs for the last 30 years

00:05:09.560 or so. Well, he's reportedly investigated by the organization he started after a whistleblower's

00:05:14.980 letter made serious allegations against the dictator and other family members. Now, Schwab and his wife

00:05:21.860 are being accused of ethical misconduct and financial misconduct, all of which he denies,

00:05:27.820 including the alleged use of luxury apartments and travel at the crux of the claims. These claims

00:05:33.980 are first made public by the Wall Street Journal. Klaus Schwab, a globalist and a hater of America.
