00:00:00.360 Hello, and welcome to this episode of the John Henry Weston Show, where we're going
00:00:03.280 to be talking about the false prophet of the apocalypse.
00:00:06.280 Now, there's lots on the internet about the false prophet, the prophecies related in the
00:00:10.920 last book of the scriptures known as Revelation or the Apocalypse, and there's lots of quotes
00:00:15.580 out there from Catholic saints and seers and whatnot about it.
00:00:19.260 But when you're looking on the internet, you don't often know if these quotes are accurate,
00:00:23.160 if this is actually what Padre Pio said, St. Catherine of Siena said, or some other
00:00:28.380 saints said, is this actually the correct quotes from the scriptures, and how do we interpret
00:00:32.600 it?
00:00:32.820 Well, we're trying to sort all of that out for you here at LifeSite News.
00:00:36.260 We've got a great priest, Fr. Frank Unterhalt from Germany, a meticulous researcher who went
00:00:41.120 back to the original sources and is able to provide that clarity for us.

00:02:19.460 Let's begin as we always do at the Son of the Cross.
00:02:21.820 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
00:02:25.380 Amen.
00:02:25.660 So, Father Frank Unterhalt, as I said, a great Marian priest, a very holy priest from Germany
00:02:33.720 who we're very privileged to know at LifeSite News, has written articles for us there.
00:02:37.420 He's a meticulous researcher and has done this research for us so that we can stay on top
00:02:41.780 of this very important story, which has garnered much interest of late.
00:02:45.760 So, I'm going to relate what he has in his little essay, which is published in full at
00:02:50.820 LifeSiteNews.com.
00:02:51.960 Go there so that you can see not only his text, but also all the references which he
00:02:57.260 provides is heavily footnoted so that you can see all the original sources.
00:03:02.020 So, here is his work.
00:03:03.440 There is a prophecy of St. Francis of Assisi in an authentic and renowned source in which
00:03:11.400 he, that's St. Francis of Assisi, speaks of the appearance of an apostate antipope in
00:03:18.040 the time of tribulation.
00:03:19.080 It says, quote, that someone who is not canonically elected and is infected with heretical wickedness 0.87
00:03:27.020 at the turning point of that tribulation raised to the papacy would make a refined effort to
00:03:34.360 give many the death of his error to drink, end quote.
00:03:37.960 Also, it is in this sense that in our time St. Padre Pio has entrusted to his spiritual son,
00:03:48.900 the famous exorcist, and now late exorcist, Don Gabriele Amorth, the following dramatic words,
00:03:56.260 and I quote,
00:03:56.840 It is Satan who has entered the womb of the church, and within a short while he will rule 0.91
00:04:03.420 over a false church, end quote.
00:04:06.880 St. Padre Pio knew the third secret of Fatima.
00:04:09.920 It had actually been revealed to him four years before the Little Shepherds.
00:04:16.140 You're going to want to check out the reference on that one.
00:04:18.240 And Father Unterhalt continues, the well-known Spanish journalist Jose Maria Zavala asked Don
00:04:26.940 Gabriele Amorth about it in more detail and summarized the conclusion of the dialogue as
00:04:33.540 follows, quote,
00:04:34.160 There were two recurring and interrelated themes, the great apostasy in the church from its apex
00:04:42.280 in accordance with the testimony of Cardinal Chiapi, and the introduction of the devil to
00:04:48.420 the head of the church by means of a pope under the control of Satan, end quote.
00:04:54.120 In this context, Zavala referred to the exact correspondence of these words to the statement
00:05:01.800 of Frère Michel, a great expert on the message of Fatima, and author of a trilogy on the subject.
00:05:10.380 He stated, now this is Frère Michel, quote,
00:05:12.840 It will be the time of the decisive battle between the virgin and the devil.
00:05:17.720 A flood of diabolical confusion will spread through the world.
00:05:22.840 Satan will penetrate the highest levels of the church.
00:05:25.900 This will be the great apostasy announced for the last days.
00:05:30.120 The false prophet who betrays the church in favor of the beast, according to the prophecy 0.98
00:05:35.820 of the apocalypse, end quote.
00:05:38.780 In fact, as Sister Lucia herself pointed out, this secret is revealed in the last book of
00:05:45.600 the Holy Scripture.
00:05:46.920 And in that book, the book of the apocalypse, there is talk of the fiery red dragon.
00:05:52.840 You'll read that in Apocalypse 12.3, which is manifest in atheistic communism and of also,
00:06:00.500 the book speaks of, the black beast in Apocalypse 13.1-2, which represents Freemasonry.
00:06:06.660 Then it says, quote,
00:06:09.660 Another beast came up out of the earth.
00:06:12.920 It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.
00:06:16.740 It exercised all the power of the first beast before his eyes.
00:06:20.300 It made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast.
00:06:25.360 And that's from Apocalypse 13.1-12.
00:06:28.140 The beast, which looks like a lamb, represents the ecclesiastical Freemasonry that has penetrated 1.00
00:06:35.400 into the interior of the temple, especially into the hierarchy.
00:06:40.940 Its goal is to overcome the Catholic Church from within. 0.96
00:06:58.140 And if you'd like to help us bring our truth-telling coverage to millions around the world,
00:07:03.620 please consider making a one-time or monthly donation at give.lifesitenews.com.
00:07:09.080 And now, back to the video.
00:07:12.480 It wants and achieves for a short time the creation of an idol, a false Christ, and a false church.
00:07:20.700 The reference to the hierarchy of the church is crucial,
00:07:23.920 in which the mitre with two horns indicates the fullness of the priesthood.
00:07:29.900 The beast that comes up out of the earth looks like a servant of Christ, the lamb, 0.99
00:07:34.680 but is a servant of Satan, the dragon.
00:07:38.400 Thus, if the second beast is ecclesiastical Freemasonry, 0.70
00:07:43.360 it is personified and literally elevated to the summit in the false prophet as its head,
00:07:49.600 who is expressly designated as such in three passages of the Apocalypse.
00:07:55.440 Apocalypse 16.13, 19.20, and 20.10.
00:08:00.520 He is the pseudo-religious leader of the anti-church.
00:08:05.340 Through grave heresies and despicable sacrilegies,
00:08:09.000 he advances the great apostasy from the top.
00:08:12.560 He deceives and cheats the inhabitants of the earth.
00:08:16.300 You'll read that in Apocalypse 13.14.
00:08:18.420 And wants to lead people to worship the Antichrist,
00:08:22.720 whose direct forerunner he is, as you'll read in Apocalypse 13.12.
00:08:27.440 The former bishop of Fulda, the exegete of the New Testament,
00:08:31.660 professor and doctor Edward Schick,
00:08:34.480 has also pointed out this dimension in his work on the Apocalypse.
00:08:39.560 He said in a quote,
00:08:40.540 The second beast's mission is the unlimited seizure of power by the first.
00:08:46.460 For this purpose, it is ordered and equipped by the first.
00:08:50.920 It is to lead people to recognize the first as what it claims to be, namely God himself.
00:08:58.340 All his propaganda aims at this in words and deeds.
00:09:02.940 It is a matter of religiously transfiguring the world of power of the Antichrist 0.95
00:09:08.900 and getting mankind to pay him cultic veneration in turn.
00:09:15.000 Bishop Schick accordingly speaks of a satanic trinity.
00:09:19.220 It consists of the dragon and the two beasts.
00:09:23.540 The first beast, which represents Freemasonry, is personified in the Antichrist, 0.99
00:09:28.780 and the second, which represents ecclesiastical Freemasonry, in the false prophet.
00:09:35.660 Their goal is the unrestricted rule of the world, the kingdom of the devil on earth. 0.89
00:09:41.180 The rulers of the world, who had placed themselves in the service of the satanic trinity, 0.99
00:09:50.280 believe that the favorable opportunity has come to lead together
00:09:54.800 the final destructive strike against the Church of Christ on earth.
00:10:00.520 The satanic triad doubles its propaganda for this purpose.
00:10:04.560 Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen made it clear in this context that this agenda is marked
00:10:13.320 by the establishment of a counter-Church.
00:10:17.200 It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church,
00:10:23.100 but in reverse and emptied of its divine content.
00:10:26.600 There will be a mystical body of the Antichrist,
00:10:29.820 which will resemble in all its externals the mystical body of Christ.
00:10:35.020 End quote.
00:10:36.240 Accordingly, an Antichurch, as its head necessarily needs, 0.95
00:10:42.180 an Antipope, who is the false prophet of the Apocalypse.
00:10:46.160 The hostile aspiration wants to seduce people to, quote,
00:10:52.340 accept a new religion without the cross, a liturgy without the hereafter, 0.96
00:10:57.560 a religion to destroy religion, or a politics that is a religion.
00:11:03.860 End quote.
00:11:04.560 From Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.
00:11:07.300 Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, the great German mystic,
00:11:12.020 has seen and described the rise of the pernicious Antichurch.
00:11:17.080 She, quote, 0.86
00:11:18.020 saw how another dark church arose in Rome.
00:11:22.300 End quote there.
00:11:24.500 In doing so, she used a drastic turn that clearly demonstrates
00:11:28.740 the apocalyptic extent of the event.
00:11:31.620 Quote,
00:11:32.480 But the whole house was dark and black,
00:11:36.040 and all that happened in it was darkness and gloom.
00:11:40.120 I also saw how very bad the consequences of this after church would be.
00:11:45.920 I saw it grow.
00:11:47.480 I saw many heretics of all ranks go to the city.
00:11:52.140 End quote.
00:11:53.040 Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich also saw the closure of the churches
00:11:58.840 and the great distress of the Catholic communities everywhere.
00:12:02.840 She described the spread of, quote,
00:12:05.980 the dark after church, end quote,
00:12:08.860 as an implementation of the anti-Christian decisive struggle.
00:12:13.400 Quote,
00:12:14.280 The sect receives its signature from the apocalyptic beast,
00:12:19.900 which, risen from the sea, dwells with it,
00:12:23.720 and drives it to fight against the flock of Christ.
00:12:28.320 End quote.
00:12:29.900 Against the background of this apocalyptic period,
00:12:34.000 the famous message of La Salette echoes like a loud and insistent warning.
00:12:38.700 Quote,
00:12:38.940 Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist. 0.98
00:12:43.800 End quote.
00:12:45.740 We want to thank at LifeSite News,
00:12:48.080 Father Frank Unterhalt for all of his research
00:12:50.620 in pointing out the authentic quotes from these various saints
00:12:54.900 and from the scriptures,
00:12:56.360 so that people can have a good idea of
00:12:58.860 what the false prophet of the apocalypse
00:13:01.660 is written about both in the scriptures
00:13:03.360 and from the many saints quoted.
