00:03:22.160 In fact, Jessica herself met in 1996 with Sister Lucia of Fatima and was able to compare her message with the message that Sister Lucia received.

00:04:16.460 He said on February 2nd, 1995, at 4.21pm, Jessica Grigori, a little girl who was not even six years old at the time, she was still five,
00:04:28.180 was about to go to Holy Mass with her family when for the first time she saw a small statue of Mary Most Holy crying tears of blood
00:04:38.000 in the small stone grotto which her father had recently built in front of their house.
00:04:43.140 Fabio, her father, was putting his 18-month-old son David into the car when he heard his daughter crying out repeatedly.
00:04:51.900 When he heard the word blood, he rushed over and realized what was happening, even though at first it was quite perplexing.
00:05:00.940 He continued, this is Archbishop Vigano's account of what happened at Civitavecchia.
00:05:06.240 He said from that day on, the phenomenon repeated itself a total of 13 times in front of crowds of witnesses until February 6th.
00:05:18.860 Numerous public security agents who were promptly called by Fabio were also present uninterruptedly during these days
00:05:26.320 to guard the sacred image and would also give sworn testimony about these events during the investigation.
00:05:34.080 A storm broke out around the young family.
00:05:36.960 The parish priest, who was the first eyewitness after the members of the family, informed the diocesan bishop,
00:05:43.540 a Monsignor Girolamo Grillo.
00:05:47.060 But Bishop Girolamo did not want to know about the event.
00:05:51.900 In fact, he tore up the first report that was written by the parish priest himself.
00:05:57.980 Bishop Girolamo's hostility to the events was very strong and triggered negative media reaction.
00:06:04.120 At the request of various parties, the judiciary even, that's the local authority,
00:06:09.660 investigated the family on multiple counts.
00:06:11.920 They carried out all sorts of research and examination on the liquid, on the statue,
00:06:18.080 and in the homes of the Grigori family and their relatives.
00:06:23.060 Fabio Grigori himself pushed for these investigations to be carried out
00:06:27.040 because he wanted the truth to be revealed and to protect his family,
00:06:31.360 even to the point of proposing to mortgage their house
00:06:35.480 in order to pay for the very expensive DNA testing that needed to be done.
00:06:39.880 And remember, this is only 25 years ago, by the way.
00:06:43.100 So Archbishop Vigano continued this way.

00:06:46.360 The statue of Mary was confiscated by the bishop and kept in his own home,
00:06:51.520 where it continued to weep blood in front of various witnesses until March 15th.
00:06:57.660 Bishop Girolamo himself told me what happened that day.

00:07:43.580 The shock was so great that the bishop had to receive first aid from a cardiologist.
00:07:49.200 And to continue with Archbishop Vigano's account, he said,
00:07:55.360 After this disturbing event, Bishop Girolamo radically changed his attitude.
00:07:59.760 He stopped the DNA investigation.
00:08:02.760 He established a theological commission and began an ecclesiastical process to study and verify the event.
00:08:09.580 As he himself, that's the bishop himself, would declare, he changed from being a judge to a witness.
00:08:17.720 In the meantime, the Pope, who was at that time John Paul II,
00:08:21.420 let the bishop know that he was personally interested and invited him not to be skeptical.
00:08:27.040 Now the tables were turned.
00:08:29.900 The media turned against the bishop and did not accept his testimony.
00:08:34.260 And the judiciary, that's the local authority, took the little statue into custody.
00:08:39.300 At that point, John Paul II gave a tangible sign of his support and closeness.
00:08:45.040 On April 10, 1995, Heath, that's Stompol II, sent his close friend, Cardinal Andrzej Maria Descour,
00:08:53.380 to preside over a prayer vigil in the diocesan cathedral in reparation for the seizure of the statue.
00:09:01.600 On that occasion, the cardinal also blessed on the Pope's behalf a second statue
00:09:07.600 that was identical to the one that had cried, which was then given to the family.
00:09:12.820 Subsequently, this new statue would display phenomenon of exuding a fragrant oil before numerous witnesses.
00:09:22.800 The same statue, that's the second statue, wept tears of water during the days of the final agony of John Paul II in 2005.
00:09:32.180 And then, again on the same days, from March 28th to April 2nd the following year,
00:09:40.680 on March 31st, 2006, Bishop Griot personally witnessed this weeping once again,
00:09:47.180 and he testified to it publicly in the press.
00:09:50.760 Archbishop Vigano continues this way.

00:09:52.640 After the first statue of the Blessed Mother was released from custody by the judiciary on June 11th, 1995,
00:10:00.880 John Paul II wanted to venerate and crown her in the Vatican at his apartment,
00:10:06.540 but in secret so as not to interfere with the investigation of the diocesan commission.
00:10:11.140 He later confirmed in writing that this event happened in a document dated October 8th, 2000,
00:10:17.120 which was personally signed by him, that's by Pope John Paul II, on the following October 20th.
00:10:24.700 On June 17th, 1995, the original statue of the Blessed Mother was solemnly exposed in the parish church
00:10:32.240 in Civitavecchia for the public veneration of the faithful, where she remains to this day.
00:10:39.000 On March 15th, 2005, the 10th anniversary of the last time the statue wept in 1995,
00:10:47.340 the diocesan bishop issued a decree for the construction of a shrine.

00:11:21.920 Actually, Anna Maria, his wife, had already previously been the recipient of revelations
00:11:28.100 in the form of dreams, and little by little, the entire family gradually became involved
00:11:33.180 in the celestial manifestations.

00:11:37.960 But from that moment on, this voice spoke many times, but with different identities.
00:11:42.860 Sometimes the father, God's God the father, sometimes the son.
00:11:46.260 Then, beginning on July 2nd, 1995, a series of apparitions began to happen
00:11:50.860 of Jesus, Mary, and the angels, including numerous messages ending on May 17, 1996.
00:11:59.200 The Blessed Virgin also appeared again recently, giving a message on December 23rd, 2018.
00:12:07.960 When Jessica was asked about the central message given by Our Lady in Civitavecchia,

00:12:29.460 The most obvious message is the sign of Mary weeping tears of blood.
00:12:34.080 The voice heard by Fabio revealed that it is the blood of Jesus shed for all the children
00:12:40.100 who turn away from her immaculate heart to give you salvation.
00:12:44.860 This, at the same time, both a warning of grave danger and the offering of the means of salvation.

00:12:55.500 There is also a heartfelt warning of a particular danger for Italy.
00:12:59.500 And he quoted from the apparition,
00:13:02.960 Your nation is in grave danger.
00:13:05.220 In Rome, darkness is descending more and more.
00:13:07.700 You are on the rock that my son Jesus left you on,
00:13:10.700 which to build up, educate, and spiritually raise his children.
00:13:15.560 Bishops, your task is to continue the growth of God's church,
00:13:19.400 since you are God's heirs.

00:13:22.560 The messages contain a warning of a fierce attack by Satan against the family
00:13:28.420 as a strategy to destroy the church,
00:13:32.260 Archbishop Vigano said,
00:13:33.280 adding,
00:13:34.620 Together with an internal attack made by means of many priests.
00:13:40.820 Archbishop Vigano also said,
00:13:42.880 The heartfelt and strong words are precisely those of a distressed mother.
00:13:46.700 And then quoting from the apparition, he said,
00:13:48.880 Children, the church has entered the period of a great trial,
00:13:52.320 and in many of you the faith will become unstable.
00:13:55.620 End quote.
00:13:56.080 The messages, he said,
00:13:59.140 also warn of a great danger of a third world war,
00:14:03.200 which may be a nuclear war,
00:14:05.820 but which can be stopped with,

00:14:08.240 Weapons stronger than those used,
00:14:10.500 which are love, prayers, humility,
00:14:12.920 the rosary,
00:14:13.580 and true conversion of your hearts to God
00:14:15.900 through our Heavenly Mother,
00:14:17.540 who is holding you all in her arms,
00:14:19.900 close to her immaculate heart.

00:14:22.160 There is an insistent request
00:14:26.860 for the consecration of families to her immaculate heart,
00:14:30.060 Archbishop Vigano relates.
00:14:32.520 Not only of families,
00:14:33.500 but also of parishes, cities, dioceses,
00:14:35.900 and the world
00:14:36.620 as a pledge of protection on her part.
00:14:40.900 And quoting from the apparition again,

00:14:43.180 Consecrate yourselves all to me,
00:14:44.960 to my immaculate heart,
00:14:46.140 and I will protect your nation
00:14:47.700 under my mantle now full of graces.
00:14:50.360 And she begs,
00:14:51.180 this is Our Lady begging,
00:14:52.620 Listen to me, please, I beg you.
00:14:55.520 I am your Heavenly Mother,

00:14:58.000 do not make me weep again,
00:14:59.920 seeing so many of my children die for your faults
