00:00:00.000 FBI raids on pro-life Americans continue.
00:00:05.120 The Biden administration is continuing to use the FBI as a Gestapo force.
00:00:11.020 In Tennessee last week, there was an indictment of 11 pro-lifers.
00:00:15.880 Among them was Paul Vaughn, a father of 11.
00:00:18.940 His home was raided by the FBI, similar to, but not as extreme as, Mark Houck with his
00:00:26.080 seven little children.
00:00:27.720 We're going to discuss that.
00:00:29.260 I'm going to show you clips of that FBI raid, of Paul on Tucker, of the mother in the Houck
00:00:35.780 case, of a bishop who has spoken up personally for Mark Houck.
00:00:40.320 This is the John Henry Weston Show.
00:00:42.340 Stay tuned.
00:00:59.260 Okay, look, this is incredible.
00:01:10.780 What is going on here is the FBI is being used as a Gestapo force.
00:01:15.780 Why these agents are even doing this when they see what they're doing is insanity.
00:01:21.640 God only knows.
00:01:22.600 That's on them.
00:01:23.600 But what we've seen recently with the Mark Houck situation, which we've covered extensively
00:01:29.600 after breaking the story at LifeSite News, is that this Mark Houck case was only the first
00:01:35.280 one.
00:01:35.740 It was a very important first one.
00:01:37.680 And we'll get to Peter Breen, the lawyer in this case, on why it's important to focus on
00:01:45.000 Mark Houck as the first case.
00:01:47.200 However, just last week, a week after Mark Houck's case went all over the media, there's a new
00:01:54.660 case of another FBI raid on a family, this time a father of 11 children, Paul Vaughn.
00:02:01.560 Now, Paul Vaughn's wife was able to capture some video footage of the FBI agents after
00:02:09.520 they had taken her husband out and put him into the vehicle to take him away.
00:02:13.680 You can see that they were not very cooperative with her, not giving her details she was asking
00:02:20.240 for, nor even their names.
00:02:22.380 Check it out.
00:02:24.780 But if you're not going to let me, then I'll just...
00:02:26.860 No, I want to know why you were banging on my door with a gun.
00:02:31.560 You're not going to tell me anything?
00:02:39.500 No, you're not.
00:02:40.860 I tried, ma'am.
00:02:42.400 No, you didn't.
00:02:43.280 Yes, I did.
00:02:43.840 You did not try.
00:02:45.060 Yes.
00:02:57.160 This is not acceptable.
00:03:01.560 Can I have your name?
00:03:19.160 You're not going to give me your name?
00:03:21.000 You're not going to give me any information?
00:03:22.480 In addition to that, Paul Vaughn appeared on Tucker Carlson, going over what happened to
00:03:35.520 him and how outrageous this is.
00:03:37.820 Check out Tucker's reaction.
00:03:39.860 This is Tucker reacting to his beloved America being dismantled because, basically, the FBI
00:03:47.960 is being used as Gestapo force.
00:03:51.160 Paul Vaughn, who was arrested in front of his many children, joins us now.
00:03:55.240 He's joined by his attorney, Peter Breen, who's a senior counsel and VP at the Thomas-Moore Society.
00:03:59.480 Thank you both very much.
00:04:00.620 Paul, first to you.
00:04:01.440 I have to wonder, what did your children think of this?
00:04:07.660 You know, there's various thoughts and processing going on as they're dealing with this and trying
00:04:13.380 to work through what happened.
00:04:14.880 Fortunately, as a Christian family, we do a lot of studying about historic Christianity and
00:04:20.120 missionaries in the past and persecution that has happened in the church.
00:04:23.700 So, they're familiar with stories.
00:04:25.280 They know their people have been martyred throughout history.
00:04:27.840 They know they've been persecuted and picked on by bully tyrants just in other parts of history,
00:04:33.440 just like they are being in America today.
00:04:35.440 But you're not allowed to unleash the FBI on an entire religion, are you?
00:04:41.800 Absolutely not.
00:04:42.840 And don't think because they've been trained that makes it okay.
00:04:46.800 When my kids go out to the car to go to school and the FBI pulls up, armed, running to the door,
00:04:55.220 and one of them goes to the kids and holds the kids with a long gun inside of my driveway
00:05:01.280 and does not let them go into the house, that is absolutely, as my wife said in the video, unacceptable.
00:05:08.340 And there needs to be accountability.
00:05:10.000 Well, it's one of the most shocking things I think I've ever seen.
00:05:13.080 I have to ask you, so the FBI, the Department of Justice, I can barely say that phrase with a straight face,
00:05:18.680 is claiming that you're a violent extremist who is a physical threat to others.
00:05:23.700 Do you embrace violence? Have you ever committed violence?
00:05:26.380 What are they talking about?
00:05:27.560 There's absolutely no evidence of that.
00:05:29.360 The only place that is ever even seen is in the documents that they made up and used to justify in their mind
00:05:36.780 and through the justice system, the ones that signed off on this,
00:05:41.080 needed some kind of justification in their own minds to go after peaceful people that disagreed with them politically.
00:05:48.500 Peter Breen, thank you for working on this case, for defending Paul Vaughn.
00:05:53.060 Do you think that this is actually going to go to trial?
00:05:57.120 Well, Tucker, when you've got a federal prosecutor after you, we always have to plan for that.
00:06:01.740 You know, Paul wasn't even arrested by the local police for trespassing.
00:06:05.720 But those who did, who were arrested, were leaning on the tradition of Dr. Martin Luther King.
00:06:12.700 He himself was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi.
00:06:14.800 I mean, this is the great tradition of American civil disobedience.
00:06:18.440 And it's not the sort of thing that you turn into a 10-year felony.
00:06:22.660 Paul himself, we believe we have very strong defenses and hope to beat these charges at trial.
00:06:28.740 And I hope you do so with a country that rises up on your side, because this is...
00:06:32.720 He wasn't even arrested for trespassing at the scene.
00:06:35.320 And over a year later, they send the FBI to his house in front of his children.
00:06:40.440 It's really just beyond.
00:06:41.180 I appreciate both of you coming on tonight.
00:06:42.640 Thank you so much.
00:06:44.800 So remember, the first case in this scenario was that of Mark Houck, another family man,
00:06:52.880 another great man.
00:06:54.800 And this is the problem for the Biden administration.
00:06:58.900 When you choose to go after pro-life activists, you're going to run up against some of the best
00:07:05.540 people in America.
00:07:07.520 Sorry, that's just the way it is.
00:07:10.640 Listen, Mark Houck was, we all know, he was a great Catholic.
00:07:14.800 Like a Catholic activist.
00:07:15.840 He was part of this group, Kingsman, which he founded, which is about combating porn and
00:07:21.220 living a moral life.
00:07:23.140 He was a pro-life activist who drove an hour and a half every week to go and counsel women
00:07:27.920 to offer them help in love and charity so that they'd keep their babies and not harm themselves
00:07:32.700 with abortion.
00:07:33.120 So these are the types of people that you're going to come up against if you're going after
00:07:37.560 the pro-life movement.
00:07:38.820 And this is who they are.
00:07:40.780 In fact, you don't have to take my word for it.
00:07:42.240 Even though I was there, visited with Mark and his beautiful family.
00:07:46.560 Take the word of Bishop Coffey.
00:07:48.940 Bishop Coffey was a friend of Mark Houck's.
00:07:51.720 Check this out.
00:07:52.280 I can say that I have known Mark Houck as a friend, I'm going to guess, about 35 years.
00:08:02.940 So I'm pretty sure we met before I was in seminary and I can vouch for him.
00:08:10.500 I know people watching this all over the country and all over the world may not know Mark.
00:08:16.320 They know the story and they want to help, but I can vouch for his character, the kind
00:08:22.300 of man he is.
00:08:24.820 He's an incredible guy.
00:08:26.640 He's incredibly compassionate and motivated and dedicated and heroic and courageous.
00:08:33.880 All the things you want to be, you know, for a husband, a father, a friend, a leader in
00:08:42.360 the Philadelphia pro-life community for many, many years.
00:08:46.100 Mark is involved with a group called the Kingsmen, where they many, many years ago would get men
00:08:54.440 in front of pornography places to have men stand up and be men and say, why are you supporting
00:09:02.000 these awful businesses?
00:09:04.240 And years ago, I went into the wild, which is one of Mark's things that he does with fathers
00:09:13.740 and sons, where they go into the woods and they have this bonding sessions with fathers
00:09:20.600 and sons, where they have Eucharistic adoration and mass out in the woods, where they bring in
00:09:27.480 axes and saws and cut down old dead trees and transform an area into a literal outdoor chapel
00:09:37.020 where they have a beautiful mass and then they tear it all down and it goes back to nature.
00:09:44.980 And these weekends they have all over the country called Into the Wild.
00:09:49.360 So as I said, I've known Mark for these over three decades.
00:09:53.660 I have great respect for him.
00:09:56.360 He's a tough guy.
00:09:58.000 I know he played football in college and I know he's worried about his wife and children.
00:10:04.380 But what can I, what, what I can say with, with great sincerity is that they picked the
00:10:11.440 wrong guy to, to mess with.
00:10:14.620 And another difficulty for the FBI or for the Department of Justice anyway, is that they're
00:10:20.340 going to run up against not only great men, but also great women.
00:10:23.600 Do you know that in addition to Joan Andrews Bell, the great hero that they already rated,
00:10:30.180 they also went after Ava Edel.
00:10:33.120 She's a concentration camp survivor.
00:10:37.240 These are the types of people they're going up against.
00:10:40.160 And another great lady that they're confronting is the wife of Mark Houck, Ryan Marie Houck.
00:10:46.020 Now, initially they couldn't do interviews because they weren't able to, the family was
00:10:52.340 so devastated.
00:10:53.460 But Ryan Marie has since been able to describe in her own words, as she did first to LifeSite
00:10:58.940 News and our great reporter, Patrick Delaney, but listen to her tell the story herself of
00:11:05.220 what happened that fateful day on September 23rd.
00:11:09.020 On September 23rd, um, the feast of Padre Pio, um, and it was the day after we celebrated
00:11:20.020 my daughter's ninth birthday.
00:11:22.420 Um, so we had plans for the day and, uh, we woke up, Mark woke up first.
00:11:28.240 Um, he went down, well, first he woke me up, um, we had some children in bed with us.
00:11:35.660 Um, so he went downstairs to put, um, the quiche in the oven.
00:11:40.120 We had co-op that morning and, um, and I was about to get in the shower and I saw red
00:11:47.760 and blue flashing lights on our wall, um, right back here and, uh, no sound, but I just
00:11:55.920 saw the lights.
00:11:56.920 So I went to the window, um, to see if there was a deer that was hit or, you know, somebody
00:12:04.140 got pulled over at the end of our driveway.
00:12:06.960 Um, and I go and I see, um, our whole driveway and our whole lawn, uh, covered with, I mean,
00:12:16.740 it had to have been at least 15 vehicles.
00:12:19.860 Um, in fact, once I had gone downstairs, I could see that they were around the side of
00:12:24.000 my house and everything, um, heavily armed, um, shields, um, helmets, vests, big, huge,
00:12:34.200 long rifle type guns.
00:12:36.520 Um, and they were running all around the property and getting behind cars and doors.
00:12:43.000 Um, and then I start walking to the door, um, and I hear pounding on the door and somebody
00:12:54.100 yelling and Mark says, you know, who is it?
00:12:58.680 And they said, open the door.
00:13:00.220 And he said, well, who is it?
00:13:02.700 Um, he, he can't see, but our doors are, you know, solid.
00:13:05.840 So he couldn't see what was out front.
00:13:08.400 Um, I'm the only one who actually saw what was happening outside before he opened the
00:13:13.600 door.
00:13:14.640 Um, so I'm coming down the steps and he says, you know, who is it?
00:13:18.660 They said it was FBI, um, to open the door and they're yelling and screaming and the kids
00:13:25.240 were woken up and they all come to the top of the staircase.
00:13:28.640 And some of them are coming down the stairs with me.
00:13:31.200 Um, you know, um, you know, I'm trying to keep them away.
00:13:35.680 Mark says, please, I have seven babies in the house.
00:13:40.440 I'm going to open the door.
00:13:42.940 Um, but please, I have seven babies.
00:13:45.060 And he just kind of pleaded with them twice.
00:13:48.980 Um, and so he opens the door and immediately there's guns pointed at him, uh, a gun pointed
00:13:58.560 at me on the staircase and, um, and then another gun over our threshold and pointed kind of
00:14:07.460 like scanning the home.
00:14:09.200 Um, our children were right there.
00:14:10.920 Our door faces our staircase.
00:14:13.080 It's an open staircase.
00:14:14.480 So, I mean, essentially they had guns pointed at them.
00:14:17.940 It's hard to even like wrap my mind still around that thought.
00:14:23.300 Um, so it was terrifying.
00:14:24.540 You know, the children are screaming and crying, um, you just figure like one move from a four
00:14:32.840 year old and something tragic could have happened.
00:14:36.020 You know, he comes out, um, what's, what's going on.
00:14:41.160 And, um, you know, they just immediately grab him and, um, handcuff him.
00:14:47.820 Um, and I continued to come down the stairs and I, I just said, you know, who are you?
00:14:54.080 What are you here for?
00:14:55.220 Well, we're here for him.
00:14:56.180 And I said, well, who?
00:14:58.140 Well, him.
00:14:59.660 Well, who is that?
00:15:02.200 Mark Howe.
00:15:03.660 Okay.
00:15:04.100 Well, do you have a warrant?
00:15:05.840 And they said, well, we're taking him whether we have a warrant or not.
00:15:09.920 And I said, well, you can't do that.
00:15:12.200 Well, I mean, that's like kidnapping at gunpoint.
00:15:15.000 Essentially, you can't just, I don't care who you are or who you work for, but you can't
00:15:19.460 come to someone's house with guns and then take somebody, you know?
00:15:23.820 So, um, they said that they would get me the warrant.
00:15:28.440 Um, Mark asked me, it was very, very cold.
00:15:31.560 Um, and you know, Mark was, had just woken up.
00:15:34.660 So he was just in shorts and a t-shirt, um, downstairs, no shoes, no socks.
00:15:41.140 And he said, you know, can you go upstairs and get me a sweatshirt?
00:15:44.120 Again, everything is very chaotic because the children are just crazy.
00:15:50.360 They're, they're crying and screaming.
00:15:53.160 And, you know, my one son said, you know, he's my best friend.
00:15:57.520 You can't take him.
00:15:58.580 He's my best friend.
00:15:59.820 And, um, my daughter, uh, what particularly she had come downstairs, the one who had just
00:16:05.720 turned nine the day before.
00:16:07.100 Um, and there were men, we have glass doors in the back of our house, um, and there were
00:16:12.860 men with guns at the glass door and she was terrified.
00:16:16.320 And then she came running over to me.
00:16:18.740 So I, I have kids like attached to me, screaming and crying.
00:16:21.920 I'm trying to get, mark a sweatshirt.
00:16:24.600 Um, and then he also had asked for his rosaries.
00:16:28.900 Um, I come downstairs and, and they took him.
00:16:32.680 He was gone.
00:16:34.140 Um, and then they yelled back that they were going to bring me the warrant.
00:16:39.200 And, um, one of the FBI agents, um, came up and he just tore off a piece, piece of paper
00:16:47.160 of like a packet and told me that they were taking him to the federal building.
00:16:51.960 Um, and that, you know, that he would probably be seen by a magistrate, um, that day.
00:16:57.560 I would hear from him or a lawyer or something.
00:17:02.380 I'm not really sure it was kind of, you know, just a lot going on.
00:17:07.380 Um, so that was how the morning went, um, you know, and then I think, you know, some
00:17:13.080 people may have seen some pictures as they were leaving.
00:17:16.640 Um, I quickly said to my son, um, please go get my phone.
00:17:22.800 It's on the charger upstairs.
00:17:25.700 And so he did.
00:17:27.240 So I was able to take a couple pictures, but people were already leaving.
00:17:32.240 So that's, you know, that's about all, all I was able to get.
00:17:36.600 But you can clearly see the kind of uniform they were wearing at my house and who it was.
00:17:43.740 So it was, it was, um, you know, state troopers and, uh, FBI agents that we could see specifically,
00:17:51.580 but there was many unmarked units.
00:17:54.020 So we don't know all of the different people who came to our house or agents.
00:17:58.580 But so that's, that's what happened.

00:18:25.980 And now back to the video.
00:18:30.200 In addition to describing the events of that day, she was asked about the effect on her
00:18:37.060 children.
00:18:38.120 I want to give you a little snip of that just so that you see the suffering that was entailed.
00:18:41.980 It's one day at a time, one moment at a time.
00:18:48.240 Mark, he, um, he's always been prepared to kind of, you know, lay down his life.
00:18:54.660 He's a, he's a man of faith and he knows what he's called to do, but he didn't want that
00:19:01.920 for his children and his wife, you know?
00:19:04.140 So, um, well, we weren't, weren't expecting that.
00:19:08.280 So that's quite difficult, um, you know, and the children are, uh, you know, the older
00:19:15.920 ones you can, you can talk to, and we have lots of conversations with them.
00:19:21.020 Um, and you know, anytime I have alone time with any of them, um, I try and, you know,
00:19:28.300 talk to them about what happened or like if they have any fears and just different things
00:19:33.700 like that.
00:19:34.220 Um, we've gone to like some counseling and healing, um, sessions with, you know, great
00:19:39.980 priest friend of ours who, um, you know, is gifted in that way.
00:19:44.800 Um, our baby babies, they're the ones who have struggled the most.
00:19:51.580 Um, they can't articulate what it is that they're feeling.
00:19:55.960 Um, our four and six year old boys in particular, when we think about back on that day, um, we
00:20:04.040 think how easily they could have just run underfoot like they normally do, um, and how tragic that
00:20:12.100 would have been.
00:20:13.420 Um, you know, someone was a little trigger happy, um, or if Mark had gone to the door with
00:20:19.660 the spatula in his hand that he was using for the quiche, you know, just all of those things
00:20:25.060 are really, um, terrible to think about.
00:20:27.780 Our youngest, um, boy who's four, you know, he was just randomly screaming.
00:20:34.620 Um, just, we didn't know why.
00:20:37.180 And he's normally a very peaceful boy.
00:20:39.180 I mean, we knew why, um, but you know, we just wanted to help him.
00:20:44.860 He couldn't sleep without his older brother going to bed with him.
00:20:49.800 Um, you know, so my 13 year old has to go to bed at like eight 30, um, because the boys
00:20:56.680 can't sleep alone.
00:20:58.280 And, uh, you know, so I think there's still just a lot of nightmares, a lot of uncertainty
00:21:02.960 with them, but also we do feel like a sense of peace coming back into our home.
00:21:09.360 We've had, um, priests come and bless our children and bless our home.
00:21:14.940 We've had, um, you know, a woman made some scapulars for us and, uh, we had them blessed
00:21:22.700 and we're all wearing them and, um, we're just trying to, you know, reclaim what we've
00:21:30.500 worked so hard for with our family and in our home.
00:21:34.800 And, um, because we felt like in an instant it was stolen from us.
00:21:39.000 Now that you know of the great people involved, you know, them, you've heard the Bishop's testimony,
00:21:46.760 you've heard mine, you've seen the videos that we put out about interacting with their
00:21:50.520 family, about praying with them.
00:21:52.540 This is why the Mark Houck case is so important.
00:21:57.380 Peter Breen, the lawyer from Thomas More Society who is dealing with this case, they are so well
00:22:02.920 situated to deal with this because they've actually dealt with it before when the Obama
00:22:06.960 administration tried the exact same thing, they had to back off because of Thomas More Society.
00:22:13.100 Watch this, Peter Breen describing what this case is, that they beat it before, they will
00:22:18.200 beat it again, but the importance of Mark Houck because he's the first, he's the showcase
00:22:25.920 and he's the one we need to be focused on, praying about and helping.
00:22:30.780 Check this out.
00:22:31.360 First off, Mark is innocent, period, end of sentence, that's it.
00:22:39.780 And this is a political prosecution, pure and simple.
00:22:43.260 You know, we're getting, getting, you know, Tom Brekka had referred to it.
00:22:47.000 We're getting indications of, you know, that the DOJ is probing in other places so that this
00:22:51.560 is really their first major foray, their first public attempt to intimidate and frighten
00:22:57.880 the pro-life movement and they, you know, as Bishop Coffey said, they picked the wrong
00:23:01.400 guy.
00:23:02.260 And, you know, we, the Thomas More Society, won a case three years ago in this very district,
00:23:08.640 it was Allentown, just up the road, but the same Eastern District of Pennsylvania on this
00:23:12.920 exact same set of circumstances, which is when a sidewalk counselor, a pro-life sidewalk
00:23:19.160 counselor and an abortion escort are jostling for position on the sidewalk or they're having
00:23:23.700 a little disagreement about, you know, where are you standing, where am I standing, that's
00:23:28.940 not a federal violation.
00:23:30.620 It's a local matter at best.
00:23:33.480 Here, we have an even stronger case because the alleged victim here was the aggressor.
00:23:40.080 Mark and his son were well away from the gates of that Planned Parenthood, the biggest
00:23:44.220 Planned Parenthood killing center in Philadelphia, thousands of abortions a year.
00:23:49.140 They were away from the gates.
00:23:50.600 The alleged victim, the abortion escort, walked to them, no patience around, no reason to
00:23:58.100 go there other than to plant himself next to Mark's son and harass him.
00:24:02.140 A 72-year-old man, this alleged victim, should know better than to go down the sidewalk to
00:24:07.360 harass a 12-year-old boy.
00:24:09.900 And now, an altercation occurred.
00:24:12.460 If a crime was committed in that altercation, it was a matter for the local courts.
00:24:16.160 And as you heard earlier, they threw it out.
00:24:18.140 So there is, Mark Hout did nothing wrong here.
00:24:22.500 He should be heralded as a man who defended his son and who has done wonderful things to
00:24:28.080 save babies and to exercise his First Amendment rights.
00:24:31.960 So how are we reacting, though?
00:24:35.320 When you have a federal prosecutor, they have a very high win rate.
00:24:38.800 When they bring a prosecution against you, it is very difficult.
00:24:41.420 It's a 95-plus win rate, percent win rate.
00:24:44.680 And you never know.
00:24:45.780 When you get in front of a jury, there is always risk.
00:24:48.820 So we want to mitigate those risks and give Mark the strongest possible defense.
00:24:53.560 We have hired the best criminal defense attorney in Philadelphia, a gentleman named Brian McMonigle.
00:24:59.160 And he's one of the best in the country, frankly.
00:25:01.260 So you take our entire Thomas Moore team, which has decades of experience dealing with FACE,
00:25:07.240 this Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act.
00:25:09.580 We've had decades of experience there.
00:25:12.000 You put us together with the best criminal defense attorney in Philadelphia, and we know
00:25:17.280 that we are putting the strongest team on the field.
00:25:20.180 As Andy had mentioned, it's not cheap, but it's worth it.
00:25:24.600 Now, I want to very quickly acknowledge our friends in the United States Congress.
00:25:29.560 Congressmen and senators have jumped up and said, this is wrong.
00:25:34.780 This raid was absolutely outrageous and reckless.
00:25:38.340 And you recently saw Senator Chuck Grassley, distinguished senior senator from Iowa, former
00:25:43.640 chairman of the Judiciary Committee.
00:25:45.480 He wrote a letter that was detailed.
00:25:47.280 He interviewed Matt Heffern, some of our other attorneys on the case, and his staff put together
00:25:52.120 a set of facts and then a set of roughly seven or so pointed questions for the attorney
00:25:58.360 general.
00:25:58.720 And if I were the attorney general, I would not want to be on the other end of that letter
00:26:02.200 from Senator Grassley.
00:26:04.100 And so I'm thankful that those folks, that the Congress is doing their work.
00:26:08.980 We're talking about fighting back tonight.
00:26:10.700 Why am I confident that we can win this?
00:26:15.040 And why are we so adamant about giving Mark the absolute best world-class defense?
00:26:21.160 Obviously, we want to give him a world-class defense generally.
00:26:23.700 But right here, right now, this is the first big case from the DOJ.
00:26:28.900 And you may remember, about 10 years ago, a little more, the Obama Department of Justice
00:26:35.100 came after peaceful pro-life folks using the FACE Act.
00:26:39.340 And they kept pushing and pushing and pushing.
00:26:42.820 They did a year-long investigations of our good people, sidewalk counselors outside of
00:26:47.460 the nation's abortion clinics.
00:26:49.140 And they wouldn't stop until we beat them.
00:26:53.260 So I was privileged to lead the team in Denver, Colorado, outside that Denver, Colorado, Planned
00:26:59.080 Parenthood, one of the largest abortion facilities in the world.
00:27:02.480 We gave the DOJ a big black eye there by defeating their attempts to get an injunction against the
00:27:09.420 peaceful sidewalk counselors outside that clinic.
00:27:12.020 Our colleagues won a victory in Florida.
00:27:15.000 And once those two high-profile wins came in, the DOJ retreated back to the hole from which
00:27:20.960 it had emerged, that Obama DOJ.
00:27:23.360 And we had essentially no problems out of them on this front during the entire second
00:27:28.440 term of President Obama.
00:27:29.760 So we hope to do the same thing here.
00:27:32.480 Let's beat the DOJ, beat them soundly in a public case that everyone's following.
00:27:37.560 And then, Lord willing, you'll have Merrick Garland, the Attorney General of the United
00:27:41.680 States, called in front of Congress.
00:27:43.940 He'll be there and have to answer those tough questions.
00:27:46.500 Why did you put the Halk family in such danger?
00:27:49.380 Why are you prosecuting this peaceful man for what is at worst a local matter, at best a
00:27:54.740 local matter?
00:27:55.220 And I hope, I hope that at that point, we will be finished with our trial and we'll have
00:28:01.720 gotten a not guilty verdict.
00:28:03.320 And I hope the Congress will invite the Halk family to come down there.
00:28:08.700 And so, pro-life Americans, we need to stand.
00:28:11.060 If we don't do that now, this is going to crush us.
00:28:14.920 That is the point.
00:28:16.260 The point is to use the FBI as shock and awe to try and stifle pro-life in America.
00:28:23.420 We need to make our voices heard to our politicians, but also to the bishops, because very often
00:28:31.340 they act like politicians and miters.
00:28:33.440 And we need to be there to approach them, to go to them, to have them advocate for the
00:28:40.200 pro-life movement, which should be very much in their bailiwick of concern.
00:28:45.420 So, indeed, let's pray.
00:28:47.800 Praying is the most effective thing we can do, but we need to also act.
00:28:52.000 We can act also with our wallets in terms of helping Thomas More fight this case.
