00:00:00.460 Wow. Just wow. Some unbelievable comments today from Pope Benedict XVI in a new interview with an Italian newspaper where he speaks of Joe Biden's Catholicism.
00:00:10.860 And if you missed the attack on the Holy Mother of God from Biden's pick for the head of the HHS, you need to see this.
00:00:17.900 I'm going to show you and give you both the reason for all of this insanity and the solution to it.
00:00:24.440 This is the John Henry Weston Show. You're going to want to stay tuned.
00:00:30.000 Before we begin, please remember to go straight to LifesiteNews.com to keep up with all of our news and video.
00:00:52.660 It's updated constantly, so make sure it's your homepage and refresh often.

00:01:05.120 Let's begin, as we always do, at the sign of the cross.
00:01:07.760 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
00:01:13.480 In a new interview released today by the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI said of President Joe Biden, and I quote,
00:01:23.680 It is true he is Catholic and observant.
00:01:28.600 Pope Benedict XVI added that Biden, quote,
00:01:31.200 is personally against abortion, end quote.
00:01:34.300 Further demonstrating his misinformation about U.S. political realities, the Pope Emeritus said of Biden, and I quote again,
00:01:41.260 on gender politics, we have not yet fully understood what his position is, end quote.
00:01:48.600 The only caveat Pope Benedict mentioned was what seemed like a lament, and I quote again,
00:01:54.360 but as a president, he tends to present himself in continuity with the line of the Democratic Party, end quote.
00:02:02.600 So what is Pope Benedict watching in terms of media or news that leads him to believing, or worse yet,
00:02:10.820 parroting that Biden is personally opposed to abortion?
00:02:15.620 In his first two weeks in office, Biden has pledged to make abortion available to everyone
00:02:22.200 by codifying the Supreme Court's 1973 pro-abortion decision, Roe v. Wade.
00:02:26.480 He revoked the Mexico City policy that blocks federal funds from going to non-governmental organizations
00:02:32.860 that provide abortions in developing countries.
00:02:35.640 And even if the Pope saw none of that, he would surely have seen the letter from the U.S. Bishops' Conference
00:02:42.540 that called out Biden for his pro-abortion stance.
00:02:48.300 Archbishop Jose Gomez, the president of the U.S. Bishops' Conference,
00:02:51.700 warned that Biden's pledge to pursue anti-life and anti-family policies would advance moral evils
00:02:58.720 in the areas of, and I quote, abortion, contraception, marriage, and gender.
00:03:04.020 But another thing Pope Benedict is quoted in the paper as saying is just as troubling.
00:03:10.580 Benedict said he didn't fully understand Biden's stance on gender.
00:03:15.520 You know, I used to make a joke about Catholic politicians like Biden,
00:03:19.400 saying that he'd have to sort of marry a homosexual couple himself and make it public
00:03:24.340 for people to actually believe his stance.
00:03:27.060 Well, that's actually not even a joke anymore.
00:03:29.220 Biden did exactly that.
00:03:30.760 He personally officiated at a homosexual wedding ceremony for two men.
00:03:36.780 And he made sure to have it photographed and boast of it as well.
00:03:40.080 Moreover, on the very first day of his presidency, Biden issued an executive order to force gender-confused 0.68
00:03:49.320 men into women's sports. 0.53
00:03:51.440 And if all that is not enough evidence of the so-called gender stance that Biden has,
00:03:58.620 he is now pushing the Equality Act.
00:04:01.900 And it's really the death knell for pro-family, pro-life, and religious rights in America.
00:04:06.080 It would force Catholic institutions to hire transgenders, female priests, or face sanctions.
00:04:12.620 It would force Christian doctors to violate their own consciences in providing abortion 1.00
00:04:18.640 or these mutilation services that are for transgenders. 0.75
00:04:24.460 And it would actually increase girls' risks of sexual assault and eliminate women's sports 0.92
00:04:31.700 by forcing acceptance of biological male athletes to compete in women's sports 0.98
00:04:36.060 and use women's change rooms. 1.00
00:04:39.020 You know what underlines all of this thinking?
00:04:42.200 It is the thinking of so many prelates in the Church about Catholicism.
00:04:46.960 How can they act as if, well, yes, there are all these sticky political questions on which we differ,
00:04:54.260 but we are all brothers and everything is fine and we should all be polite and supportive of one another
00:05:00.200 and dialogue and never stray into accusations or, God forbid, question someone's sincerity of faith?
00:05:07.580 How?
00:05:08.280 How can this be?
00:05:09.900 How in the face of promoting the slaughter of a million American babies in their mother's wombs 0.76
00:05:15.520 every single year?
00:05:17.000 How?
00:05:18.000 I'll tell you how.
00:05:19.160 The false notion of universal salvation underpins this whole mess.
00:05:25.660 If everyone's going to heaven, then really everything doesn't matter that much.
00:05:31.020 We can go along to get along because, in the end, it really doesn't matter all that much.
00:05:37.580 Here is a great priest friend of mine who does get it.
00:05:41.720 Watch the end of his homily from last Thursday.
00:05:44.860 Do you think this unbelieving generation who's bought into the atheism and the agnosticism
00:05:51.500 and the ways of the world, do you think they're on their way to heaven?
00:05:53.880 I don't think they are.
00:05:56.020 And I'm not afraid to say it.
00:05:58.500 In our politically correct world, we think everyone's going to heaven.
00:06:02.840 Do whatever you want.
00:06:03.940 Try to be a nice person.
00:06:05.080 Everyone's going to heaven.
00:06:05.920 Where does it say that in the Bible?
00:06:07.860 What great saints of the church proclaim that, oh, everyone's going to heaven.
00:06:14.240 You don't need to strive to be holy.
00:06:17.680 That's never been said in the last 2,000 years.
00:06:21.020 So why does everyone believe this today?
00:06:24.360 Why do we no longer preach repentance?
00:06:28.140 Believe the good news.
00:06:29.840 That God so loved the world that he gave his only son so that you can have eternal life.
00:06:37.480 Why do we not preach this anymore?
00:06:41.760 You wonder why our young people don't go to church?
00:06:46.260 Who's rising up to warn them?
00:06:50.380 Save yourself from this corrupt generation.
00:06:53.260 And so we need to pray that the Lord raise up his prophets and his saints in our time.
00:07:04.060 Prophets indeed, Father.
00:07:05.880 You have risen up.
00:07:07.280 And you are one of them.
00:07:08.460 Praise God.
00:07:09.800 But there's more.
00:07:11.420 Do you remember in 2008, while running for office, Biden famously said, and I quote,
00:07:15.860 I will shove my rosary beads down the throat of any Republican who says I'm not a Catholic.
00:07:21.700 End quote.
00:07:22.320 Well, we got to know exactly what he meant when he said that, when he kept mentioning his rosary on TV
00:07:30.560 and using it to tout his faith in order both to attract Catholic votes and ward off Catholic criticism of his anti-Catholic positions.
00:07:40.420 Well, he evidently likes to see that M.O. in his collaborators.
00:07:45.360 Check this out.
00:07:46.160 Did you catch the questioning of Xavier Bezerra in his confirmation hearings for his nomination by President Biden to head up the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services?
00:07:56.520 It was actually enraging.
00:07:58.480 He was asked over and over again if he had a single reason or there could be any single limit on abortion.
00:08:06.760 And what did he respond?
00:08:08.000 By talking about his grandmother praying the rosary and blessing him.
00:08:12.120 Watch this.
00:08:12.940 Is there just one, just one restriction that relates to abortion that you might support?
00:08:20.080 Senator, you're talking to the spouse of a OBGYN who for decades has practiced saving lives of women and babies.
00:08:28.680 And I can tell you that from the stories I've heard from Carolina, my wife, I know how hard many women struggle just to save the life of their baby.
00:08:38.580 And so what I would say to you, and I know that right now as I speak, my mother has blessed me this morning as I got ready to come here.
00:08:46.020 And last night I know when she prayed the rosary, as she does every day, every evening with my aunt, that she said a prayer and included me in that prayer.
00:08:54.080 Are they insane? 0.53
00:08:56.220 It's bad enough to be pro-abortion, but to invoke the mother of God in the midst of excusing your advocacy of the killing of God's children? 0.97
00:09:05.600 Xavier Bezerra is another of these self-professed Catholics who is massively pro-abortion.
00:09:12.140 LifeCite's Calvin Freiberger reports that as Attorney General of the Golden State,
00:09:16.620 Bezerra has shown a marked hostility to Americans who follow Judeo-Christian teaching on matters such as abortion and homosexuality.
00:09:25.860 From forcing churches to subsidize elective abortions and nuns to subsidize contraceptives,
00:09:32.020 to forcing pro-life pregnancy centers to advertise abortion resources,
00:09:35.800 to refusing to fund state employees' travel to South Carolina in protests of South Carolina's law protecting adoption agencies
00:09:45.540 that insist on giving children to both a mother and a father.
00:09:50.160 But being pro-abortion and then invoking the mother of God in the Holy Rosary,
00:09:55.720 have they lost their minds?
00:09:57.800 Do they not fear God in the slightest?
00:10:00.320 You know, perhaps the blame should not rest with them,
00:10:05.100 but on the priests and bishops who fail to strenuously warn them of the eternal punishment awaiting them for such blasphemies.
00:10:13.600 Blasphemies also against the mother of God. 0.93
00:10:16.780 I'm going to tell you how serious this is.
00:10:19.720 Do you know that one of the main reasons God permitted the most stupendous miracles,
00:10:25.620 apart from the resurrection itself, the miracle of Fatima in 1917,
00:10:28.680 He permitted that huge miracle because of the sins and outrages committed against the Blessed Virgin Mary.
00:10:36.700 Jesus Himself spoke to Sister Lucia about this in 1930.
00:10:40.740 I'll get back to that, but I want to tell you this too.
00:10:43.280 In Matthew 12, 32,
00:10:45.340 our Lord expresses a sentiment that's really common to men of honor,
00:10:50.160 where someone would insult their families.
00:10:53.060 Jesus said, and I quote,
00:10:54.360 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him.
00:11:00.100 But he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost,
00:11:03.320 it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world nor in the world to come.
00:11:07.860 End quote.
00:11:09.760 Men of honor often warn their adversaries
00:11:12.620 that harm to themselves can be forgiven,
00:11:15.440 but to mess with their families will garner a terrible retribution.
00:11:19.660 Jesus, being a perfect son to Mary,
00:11:23.940 guards the honor of His Holy Mother,
00:11:27.020 and thus the incomprehensible abusing of the Rosary
00:11:31.360 to excuse the killing of the innocent is beyond imagination.
00:11:36.680 Where are the prophets among the bishops
00:11:38.780 who will warn Biden and Bezerra of the terrible justice of the Son of God 0.74
00:11:44.440 they will face for having dared to blaspheme His Holy Mother?
00:11:48.240 Thank God for the prophets such as Father Mark Goring
00:11:52.460 who are not afraid to warn people of impending hell
00:11:56.220 and implore them to turn from their wicked ways and repent.
00:12:00.700 But I told you at the beginning
00:12:02.140 that I would also be giving you the solution to this mess,
00:12:05.680 and here it is.
00:12:07.120 It goes back to the message of Fatima, of course.
00:12:10.580 On December 10th, 1925,
00:12:12.720 the Mother of God, with the infant Jesus,
00:12:15.660 appeared to Sister Lucia.
00:12:17.200 The Blessed Virgin put her hand on Sister Lucia's shoulder
00:12:21.000 and showed Lucia a heart encircled by thorns
00:12:25.360 which she was holding in her hand.
00:12:28.920 And then the child Jesus spoke.
00:12:32.040 And let me get this exactly correct
00:12:33.680 by quoting directly from Sister Lucia's memoirs.
00:12:37.040 The book is called
00:12:38.340 Lucia Speaks, Memoirs and Letters of Sister Lucia.
00:12:41.740 Our Lady said this,
00:12:45.540 Have compassion on the heart of your Most Holy Mother,
00:12:49.340 covered with thorns,
00:12:50.680 with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment,
00:12:54.580 and there is no one to make an act of reparation to remove them.
00:12:58.400 End quote.
00:12:59.220 And this continues in Sister Lucia's words.
00:13:01.520 Then the Most Holy Virgin said,
00:13:04.320 Look, my daughter, at my heart,
00:13:07.560 surrounded with thorns,
00:13:09.180 which ungrateful men pierce me at every moment
00:13:12.300 by their blasphemies and ingratitude.
00:13:14.820 You at least try to console me
00:13:16.940 and say that I promise to assist
00:13:19.260 at the hour of death
00:13:20.280 with graces necessary for salvation
00:13:22.060 all those who,
00:13:23.500 on the first Saturday of five consecutive months,
00:13:27.260 shall confess.
00:13:28.720 That means go to confession.
00:13:30.360 Receive Holy Communion.
00:13:31.800 Recite five decades of the Rosary
00:13:33.660 and keep me company for 15 minutes
00:13:36.220 while meditating on the 15 mysteries of the Rosary
00:13:39.080 with the intention of making reparation to me.
00:13:42.800 End quote.
00:13:44.360 And there it is.
00:13:45.760 There is our solution to the mess we are in.
00:13:48.700 That is our task.
00:13:50.900 The task of the laity, 0.64
00:13:52.440 the bishops and the pope,
00:13:53.860 they have another role,
00:13:54.700 namely the consecration of Russia
00:13:56.020 to the Immaculate Heart.
00:13:56.940 But we, the laity,
00:13:58.700 must do our part.
00:13:59.780 And that's the first Saturday's devotion.
00:14:02.680 This coming Saturday
00:14:03.840 is the first Saturday of the month.
00:14:06.220 So will you start with me here
00:14:08.420 and do this for at least
00:14:10.420 five Saturdays of the month,
00:14:12.460 first Saturdays of the month.
00:14:14.100 Confession,
00:14:14.900 that is within eight days of that,
00:14:16.880 either side of that first Saturday of the month.
00:14:19.240 Holy Mass,
00:14:20.680 Communion,
00:14:21.260 a single Rosary
00:14:23.880 and then 15 minutes of meditation with Our Lady,
00:14:28.420 all of that done in reparation to Our Lady
00:14:32.300 for the sins committed against
00:14:34.060 her sorrowful Immaculate Heart of Mary.
00:14:36.440 We can do this
00:14:37.720 and with it we can pray for the conversion
00:14:39.820 not only of Biden and Bezerra,
00:14:42.040 but also the prelates
00:14:43.520 who fail in their prophetic mission
00:14:45.520 to warn Catholics 1.00
00:14:46.680 who abuse Our Lady
00:14:48.440 of the need to repent
00:14:49.860 before they face the wrath
00:14:51.940 of the Son of God.
00:14:54.220 For LifeSite News,
00:14:55.380 this is John Henry Weston.
00:14:56.900 And may God bless you.
00:14:58.600 Hi, this is John Henry Weston,
00:15:00.000 the co-founder and editor-in-chief
00:15:01.500 of LifeSite News.
00:15:02.880 I'm coming to you today
00:15:04.260 because we want to be sure
00:15:06.540 that we are communicating clearly
00:15:08.380 with you,
00:15:09.240 our loyal followers.
00:15:10.260 Things are really heating up
00:15:12.840 as I'm sure you can see.
00:15:14.380 Christians,
00:15:14.980 conservative truth-tellers
00:15:16.540 are being targeted,
00:15:18.480 are being banned
00:15:19.340 from social media platforms
00:15:20.640 like Facebook,
00:15:21.560 Twitter,
00:15:21.980 YouTube,
00:15:22.600 and Instagram
00:15:23.340 at an alarmingly fast rate.
00:15:26.640 They are attempting
00:15:27.300 to suppress any narrative
00:15:29.080 that does not fit
00:15:30.120 that of the mainstream media.
00:15:32.100 We knew this day would come.
00:15:34.580 We have been warning everyone
00:15:36.240 who would listen
00:15:36.980 and attempting to build up
00:15:38.720 alternative platforms
00:15:39.960 to continue to reach you.
00:15:42.600 We have established ourselves
00:15:44.060 on all sorts of platforms
00:15:45.420 I'm going to explain in a minute,
00:15:46.840 but the most important thing to do
00:15:48.400 is come direct
00:15:49.140 to LifeSiteNews.com
00:15:51.340 because there we will always be.
00:15:54.140 But we've also established ourselves
00:15:55.800 on platforms like Parler
00:15:57.480 and MeWe,
00:15:58.640 and our videos can be found
00:16:00.060 on Rumble as well.
00:16:01.700 We would love to see each of you
00:16:03.840 on those platforms too,
00:16:05.260 as they are not censoring
00:16:06.620 or suppressing the truth
00:16:07.900 that we are sharing
00:16:08.740 every single day.
00:16:10.660 More than these alternative
00:16:12.400 social media platforms,
00:16:13.740 we highly encourage you
00:16:15.060 to subscribe
00:16:15.780 to our email newsletter.
00:16:17.540 We have really built up
00:16:19.360 a large list of loyal readers
00:16:21.040 on our email marketing platform,
00:16:22.700 and we have prepared
00:16:24.100 several backup plans for,
00:16:26.660 well,
00:16:27.420 I want to say if,
00:16:28.300 but it's really when,
00:16:29.640 we are removed
00:16:30.720 from our current platform as well.
00:16:33.200 Additionally,
00:16:34.060 I really encourage you,
00:16:35.460 as I said before,
00:16:36.340 to make it a regular habit
00:16:37.980 to go directly
00:16:39.060 to LifeSiteNews.com.
00:16:40.640 Make it your homepage.
00:16:42.680 While all of these
00:16:44.040 different platforms
00:16:44.820 are an excellent way
