00:03:41.260 Yeah, I don't exactly know what is happening, but nobody knows what is happening. All is in God's

00:03:49.580 hand. The day will come and everyone has to die. And also the Pope is a human being, a man like us, and is a

00:04:00.560 pilgrim on this earth. And we have to pray for him because he is a successor of St. Peter. St. Peter is the first

00:07:22.220 when normally it's not extremely hot in Rome. Normally, the pope would go off to Castel Gandolfo.

00:07:33.980 Do you know, in August, which is the worst time, have you ever seen that before? What's your thoughts

00:07:40.300 on why that's happening now? I think it's very strange, because it's the hottest time in Rome. It

00:07:49.260 could become 40 degrees or more. And if you are all together in this relatively small roof, 200 persons,

00:07:58.860 it will be not the hell, but the purgatory for all. It could be that the Holy Father wants to prepare

00:10:03.100 Conference against any kind of superiority of abortion as a matter for choice in elections. He was talking

00:10:11.740 about how poverty should be at the same level. And so he's been a very controversial figure in the

00:10:19.900 Church in the United States. And yet he was elevated to the College of Cardinals, despite the fact also

00:10:27.020 that he is a Suffrican Bishop, and that the current Bishop of Los Angeles, who's the Metropolitan there,

00:10:34.860 is himself still an Archbishop, but not elevated to the College of Cardinals. Archbishop Gomez

00:10:41.580 remains Archbishop Gomez, and not Cardinal Gomez. Do you have any comment on that?

00:10:48.220 Not only in the United States, but everywhere in the world, nobody can understand

00:10:53.820 this appointment because it's not only an election of some bishops on the periphery outside,

00:11:07.100 but can justify it with the internationalization of the College of Cardinals, but in the United States,

00:11:15.500 biggest diocese of the world, of the United States, is Los Angeles,

00:11:23.580 and they have a very, very good bishop. And this is a fingertip, I think, for a certain understanding,

00:11:34.620 I think a wrong understanding of the Catholic Church in America. The categories in which the Church in some

00:11:44.860 countries is interpreted is, according to my opinion, absolutely wrong. The Church is not divided in

00:11:52.940 fractions, in a liberal wing and conservative wing. The difference is for all Catholics, and especially for

00:12:04.060 the bishops to be faithful to the Word of God and the doctrine of the Holy Church. We are not bishops in

00:12:13.980 our own name, with our political understanding and preferences. I cannot say I am on the side of Biden,

00:12:22.220 nor of Trump, nor of Trump, nor of Trump, and therefore I will change the Catholic faith according to my

00:12:29.660 political options. But the opposite is true. We have, as Christians, we have to

00:12:37.580 give some orientation for the politicians, especially if they are naming themselves Catholics. They must

00:12:48.380 act in the Catholic name, not as a pressure group for the Catholicism. We don't need pressure groups or

00:12:56.300 help of politicians or help of politicians for the Church, but for the natural right and the natural

00:13:03.900 basis moral. And the first right of everybody is the right to life, for life, to live there. This is the

00:13:16.060 first gift God gave us. And if a bishop is saying the same level is our struggle against poverty,

00:13:26.060 like not so much against abortion. That is the wrong, absolute wrong approach to the question. It's a

00:13:35.980 political approach, but not a theological and moral approach to the questions. We say the Church is the

00:13:47.580 advocate of the Church of God. We advocate for everybody, also for the non-Christians, because we believe that

00:13:55.180 everybody is a creature of God. And therefore, the right to life is an absolute basic fundamental right. And we see

00:14:06.380 there is a war going on. The war against the life which is coming from God. The beginning

00:14:16.860 of the life, we are now killing the coming generation, the children in the modern womb,

00:14:29.820 and also our grandparents with euthanasia, and destroying the basis of all the consequences

00:14:42.860 of the generations, which is the matrimony of man and woman of one-one, and his own woman, and not

00:14:53.900 the several so-called diverse forms of sexuality. The sexuality is only for man and woman in the

00:15:05.980 matrimony who has read the first page of the Bible, and then the authentic

00:15:15.500 interpretation of the work of God by the Son, Jesus Christ. He gave in Matthew 39 about what is matrimony.

00:15:27.180 He gives the definition of matrimony. The man will let behind father and mother and will be linked and

00:15:38.460 together with his wife, and they will become one flesh, one unity of thinking, of body, of sexuality.

00:15:48.140 And this is the source of the family, the children. And father and father coming from there,

00:16:03.820 and the great line of the generations, of the beginning of the creation until to the end of the

00:16:52.940 children. And that is absolutely clear that every priest, cardinal, the pope, every bishop must be

00:17:05.340 absolutely faithful to the revealed faith and to the natural law which is given to us without making his

00:17:17.740 personal politics. And a good bishop is a shepherd and not a politician of the second class.

00:19:30.300 teaching of the church. Nevertheless, Pope Francis first invited him to speak at the World Meeting of

00:19:37.820 Families, then invited him to become a member of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications,

00:19:43.420 then met with him personally in an audience which Father Fritz, excuse me, Father Martin used to promote

00:19:53.020 his homosexual pushing, if you will. He then also, this is Pope Francis also, answered various dubia or

00:20:02.060 questions that Father Martin posed on behalf of an LGBT group that he himself founded. And the Pope answered

00:20:11.900 those questions. At the same time, Pope Francis has not met with Cardinal Zen when he came to visit on

00:20:20.060 behalf of Chinese Catholics suffering under the heel of communism, and also would not answer

00:20:27.260 Cardinal Burke and the other dubia cardinals their questions. Catholics around the world are very confused,

00:20:36.060 confused, and we're wondering what we should do. Could you help us to understand and give us a way forward?

00:20:46.380 I am a Catholic theologian, Bishop and Cardinal, Roman Cardinal, absolutely on the side of the Pope,

00:20:53.900 but in the institution of papacy. But that doesn't mean that I have to justify all what is happening,

00:21:03.580 because also in the past, some great theologians, Saint Augustine, criticized some actions of words of

00:21:14.860 the popes of their time, and other some cases. Now, my great predecessor as prefect of the congregation of

00:22:25.020 and his networking and all his propaganda he is making. What he is doing is a heresy,

00:22:36.860 absolutely a heresy. Nobody can justify it and he cannot excuse himself only with the doing of a pastoral work for

00:22:49.100 these persons with a sexual self-attraction. Nobody is more close to these people as Jesus Christ who gave his life

00:23:01.660 for every body. But this was not a justification of the sin, but a justification of the sinners.

00:23:09.900 And they gave us a grace to convert us and nobody can say I have a tendency to the

00:23:18.940 poly-marriage or to do I love not only one woman, but I love five. That is not a justification

00:23:29.340 for this. This is the abbreviation of the true sense of the matrimony, which is the love between

00:23:41.100 men and women. And therefore, there is no chance and they can do what they want, but what is wrong is wrong,

00:23:51.340 and what is right is right. And they cannot make us quiet. And with all the propaganda machine, with their

00:24:00.940 deformations, they are making against us. I heard this is Father Martin, who also that, of the Cardinal Müller,

00:24:10.460 because I am not under this line about what he is doing, is absolutely wrong and is misleading the people.

00:24:19.980 And he is bringing in danger the salvation of the people with his wrong ideas and his wrong actions.

00:26:29.340 our occidental understanding of human rights. All the human rights are universal, and everybody is a person

00:26:40.620 before God. And we are accepting all these Chinese people as our brothers and sisters

00:27:46.060 and especially I am faithful to my ears, when we are hearing the word of God. And the word of God
