00:02:41.500 But walk us through what happened at the hearing, what was said, and what stood out to you the

00:02:46.460 Yeah, so people don't understand that this Religious Liberty Commission has been established.
00:02:51.940 It was established last May on the National Day of Prayer.
00:02:55.340 And then we started having hearings starting in, I believe it was August or September, every
00:03:00.440 month until the following May, so that this upcoming May would be our one year.
00:03:05.400 And at the end of the commission, we meet with the president, and we advise him on certain
00:03:10.060 executive orders, legislation that could possibly be passed to ensure religious freedom for all
00:03:14.800 Americans.
00:03:15.680 So that's really important, I want to say to everyone.
00:03:18.540 So this isn't just, you know, we come and we hear from people and that's it.
00:03:22.440 We are actually trusted by the president to advise him.
00:03:26.500 We are advisors to the president on issues pertaining religious freedom in America.
00:03:31.340 So leading up into this hearing, I will say I was speaking out about Gaza.
00:03:35.660 I was posting, you know, what Pope Leo was saying about the suffering in Gaza, holding firm
00:03:40.460 to my Catholic faith, obviously being very pro-life from, you know, the womb to outside of the
00:03:45.520 womb.
00:03:46.400 And so it just didn't sit well with me that I was seeing what I was seeing with my own two
00:03:50.800 eyes, and I was being denied my religious freedom to speak about it.
00:03:54.260 But the White House called me one day back in August, asked me for my resignation, and
00:03:58.900 I said, I'm not resigning.
00:04:00.660 I said, what is this?
00:04:01.660 Why are you asking me to resign?
00:04:03.480 And the woman said, I can't give you any details.
00:04:06.340 And I said, well, who asked you to, you know, ask me to resign?
00:04:09.640 And she said, Paula White and Dan Patrick, who are equals of mine on this commission, they're

00:04:14.660 So fast forward to this hearing, which is very important information I would like your viewers

00:04:18.860 So fast forward to this hearing is that, you know, it was very highly anticipated that
00:04:23.760 I had already been asked to resign simply because I was speaking out about Gaza.
00:04:27.920 They had told me that I wasn't allowed to use social media, that I needed to stay off
00:04:31.400 social media, that I wasn't allowed to have my, they called it replacement theology beliefs

00:04:38.160 And they told me, Dan Patrick told me specifically that my job is to protect the president while
00:04:42.400 serving on this commission.
00:04:43.360 And while I told, you know, the world basically on Monday that my allegiance is to Christ and
00:04:50.140 to my Catholic faith and to my country.
00:04:52.780 This is a religious liberty commission to advise the president, you're all equals.
00:04:56.580 So the announcement then of your removal, he's not really a removal.
