00:02:40.180 and we're certainly seeing Satan's power in the world today.
00:02:42.720 100 years didn't mean that. 100 years from October 13th, 1884,
00:02:46.220 was going to be, suddenly that's going to be everything, cataclysm,
00:02:50.960 but it meant that he now established such power on earth
00:02:56.180 that he can achieve his diabolical ends, and there will be martyrs.
00:03:01.660 And where we're reminded of that is when, I think we talked about it earlier today,
00:03:06.220 when Pope St. John Paul II, when he was still Cardinal Wojtyla,
00:03:08.940 came over to America in 1978.
00:03:10.960 He said, we're now living in those times.

00:03:15.600 He said, most Catholics and most Christians do not understand.
00:03:18.740 We are now living in the final time, the final battle,
00:03:21.540 the church against the anti-church, the gospel against the anti-gospel,

00:03:28.360 And he said, we have to prepare ourselves because before long we will be martyrs.
00:03:32.380 So that was in 1978, and we've seen everything,
00:03:35.760 everything since then has been a fulfillment of exactly what he warned us about.

00:03:47.000 And I had the privilege of touring it a few years ago.
00:03:49.940 And you go through it, you walk through,
00:03:52.160 and each room is building up to what you know is coming.
00:03:55.500 And then you walk into this one room, and it's August 31st, 1939.
00:03:59.340 And they had a bunch of newspaper clippings on it,
00:04:01.620 and pictures, and personal reflections of what life was like on August 31st, 1939.

00:04:11.220 and they, you know, they wanted that 15-mile swath across the top to get to,

00:04:16.640 And they were calling up horse regiments for a little extra training just in case,
00:04:21.000 like as if a horse is going to do any good against a tank.
00:04:25.020 Nobody knew on that day that the very next day, September 1st, 1939,
00:04:30.400 all hell broke loose with the Blitzkrieg.
00:04:32.660 And, you know, the Stuka bombers and the tanks were invading the bombed-out buildings.
00:04:36.720 Nobody knew.
00:04:38.200 They were unaware.
00:04:40.340 And so I try to tell people, listen, we're living in August 31st time.
00:04:45.080 We don't know precisely what day is going to be September 1st, but it's coming.
00:04:49.660 And we're always called to prepare.

00:04:55.240 Because for any one of us, this could be our last day.

00:05:06.200 If you even attempt to be aware of what's going on in the world, what's going on in the church,
00:05:12.440 the great apostasy that has been going on since about 2013, you have to say to yourself,
00:05:18.600 well, I guess the time has come, as Pope St. John Paul II warned us,
00:05:22.660 it's time to either stand up and be a martyr or your eternal salvation is at risk.
00:05:28.180 There's an interesting thing about the talk of apostasy, because that's actually warned of in the scriptures by St. Paul,
00:05:36.500 the great falling away.
00:05:38.140 Even the new catechism, the 83 catechism, there is this talk of a deception, which is given,
00:05:47.000 that means the loss of faith.
00:05:49.060 And in the previous catechism, it talks about the loss of faith as well.
00:05:55.760 But Padre Pio is very interesting, because an interview comes out with Father Gabriel Amorth,
00:06:01.920 who, as you know, was with Padre Pio.
00:06:04.520 And he's being interviewed by an interviewer, I think his name was Father,
00:06:08.040 I think it was Father Zavala, or maybe just Zavala.
00:06:10.480 Anyway, the interview goes, Gabriel Amorth, Father Amorth, is talking about the exorcist of Rome.
00:06:16.160 He's talking about his conversation with Padre Pio over what's the secret of Fatima all about,
00:06:25.960 and so on and so forth.
00:06:27.820 And what he describes is the apostasy and the interviewer freaks out.
00:06:36.540 It's like, what else did he say?
00:06:38.440 Did he say floods and earthquakes and disaster?
00:06:41.240 And it's so interesting, because Father Amorth said,
00:06:45.820 Padre Pio didn't care about that at all.
00:06:48.340 It was just the apostasy that was worthing.
00:06:50.820 He suffered so much for that.
00:06:53.420 It's really stunning to see what we've seen,
00:06:57.300 that at least since 2013, there is no comparison.
00:07:02.000 The rest of the church history, from Christ to 2013,
00:07:07.840 there's nothing like what we've just experienced.

00:07:22.440 from the unchanged and unchangeable truth handed down to us for 2013 years.
00:07:28.460 And now what we've seen is nothing less than an apostasy,
00:07:32.740 a schism from the deposit of faith
00:07:35.020 that keeps being hammered down our throats.
00:07:38.260 And at this point in time,
00:07:40.520 remember Bishop Callahan said to me,
00:07:43.120 to my face, in his office,
00:07:45.420 that the bishops have failed to teach us for the last 50 years the faith.
00:07:49.980 He says 80% of Catholics do not know right from wrong.
00:07:52.680 80% of Catholics, now more, a higher percentage,
00:07:55.720 are culpably ignorant of their faith
00:07:59.860 because they haven't put in any effort.
00:08:01.880 Because if you seek, you will find.

00:08:05.520 So they're not seeking.
00:08:07.740 Listen, you can tell the people who are seeking
00:08:09.380 because they do find and their eyes are open.

00:08:15.440 the apostasy going on in the church today.

00:08:21.060 What happened is, remember I was talking about

00:08:26.520 What we're seeing now is the flourishing,
00:08:28.940 the blossoming of all the pieces are in place

00:08:36.500 In fact, even, you know, remember it says in Sacred Scripture,

00:08:46.320 that there is an apostasy going on,
00:08:48.940 it means they don't know their faith.

00:08:54.740 Remember Cardinal Rinzai had the great quote about,

00:08:58.720 in his cardinal's outfit and,
00:09:01.520 should a pro-choice politician receive first communion?

00:09:05.820 you don't need a cardinal of the Catholic church.
00:09:07.900 Ask a second grader, ask a first communicant
00:09:10.500 if that person is promoting the murder of babies in the womb
00:09:15.380 and will intend to vote that way always.

00:09:19.300 And of course, he says, you don't need a cardinal

00:09:22.380 Similarly, we don't need a cardinal to tell us
00:09:25.420 that there is an apostasy.

00:09:32.980 that these high-ranking prelates are teaching false.
