00:01:22.940 And St. John's is another giant. He lived in the 17th century. He's just a powerhouse. He's

00:01:29.760 founded the congregations of Jesus and Mary and the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity. But he formed

00:01:35.760 he opened numerous seminaries, I think 16. I'm going to read just this little quote here. It

00:01:42.080 says, the governing theme of his meditations, his preaching and his writings was the importance of

00:01:48.360 the redemptive incarnation of the Son of God and the mediation of His Immaculate Mother.

00:11:42.160 in their sins? So this is, it's just mind-boggling, John. You said that this unworthy reception of

00:11:48.800 Holy Communion is one of the worst things you could do. I need you to unpack that a little bit

00:11:54.400 of course, because I think a lot of people don't get it. They see their archbishop, their bishops

00:11:58.820 giving the pro-abortion politicians Holy Communion all the time. They know that, you know, these two

00:12:03.740 guys are gay and father knows too, but he gives them Holy Communion anyway. This has become so 0.63

00:12:08.500 commonplace that I think that the appreciation for the gravity of that is sort of lost. Tell us

00:12:15.200 about that. First of all, the commandments we know go in a hierarchy order, number one to 10,

00:12:21.800 right? And the first commandment, the first three commandments, when you sin, you sin directly

00:12:27.140 against God, and the next seven, you offend God and your neighbor. But the worst is number one.

00:12:34.160 And one of the worst sins in the first commandment is to receive our Lord unworthily. St. Paul tells

00:12:40.320 us that you bring condemnation on yourself. So what they do is, with all these wicked sins,

00:12:45.720 they desensitize people. Ah, it's all right. Look what's happening in the cathedral of St. Patrick

00:12:51.100 in manhattan they they desecrated holster near you and then they had just unbelievable things so

00:12:56.840 they desensitize the people this is normal it's all right because you know what john

00:15:42.940 they love their child, of course, but then they, oh, well, the Pope says it's all right. And,

00:15:47.900 you know, and then they, so how many souls are going to hell for this? And it scares me because

00:15:53.420 God did destroy many cities because of this sin, but now it's throughout the whole world.

00:15:58.780 And worse, John, it's in the Vatican at the very highest ranks. How many appointments,

00:16:04.220 and you've been keeping track of this, thank God, and I commend you because you're letting

00:16:09.080 people see that he has eyes to see and ears to hear. Let him see and let him hear. He's never

00:16:14.280 made one good appointment since he's been in there over a year now. Every bishop that he has put in

00:34:59.440 That's why the Lord said, if you have 100 sheep,

00:35:41.500 And so when you enter into this mental prayer, you basically make the sign of the cross.

00:35:45.520 You call on Our Lady, your guardian angel, your patron saints to help you to block out

00:35:51.600 the whole world, block out the children, block out everyone around you, and you enter into this

00:35:57.420 solitude with the Lord. You don't speak with your lips, and you speak to Him from the depths of your

00:36:01.700 heart. And so the whole point is to get to where you have affections for our Lord. Like, sometimes

00:36:08.720 you make the sign of the cross, and right away, a sorrow will come over you for the sins you have

00:36:13.540 committed. And you express that to our Lord. Lord, forgive me. I can't believe I'm reflecting

00:36:19.720 how much I hurt you. I have crucified you, my sins. I'm the one that put the spear through

00:36:23.920 your heart. I'm the one that crowned you with dawns. Have mercy on me. Please, give me the

00:36:29.160 grace that I'd rather die in the state of grace than ever commit a mortal sin again. Whatever.

00:36:34.240 It could be joy or a spirit of thanksgiving. Lord, all of a sudden it hits me what you have

00:36:42.000 done to me, what the graces you have poured out to me. I was born into a Catholic family.

00:36:54.360 world don't have that and so that's what happens so you start doing but sometimes those things

00:37:12.820 there's these steps and i'll go over the rest of them some people are so they rigid they go step

00:37:24.380 you may need to do a little reading and no and then you then the affections and then after that

00:37:31.100 you make uh resolutions and then you uh petitions and that's it so some people will go they'll start

00:37:37.640 and and have this affection for our lord and they say no no i got to go back to step two

00:37:42.560 So St. Peter Alcantara says, there's no need to strike a match if the flame is burning already.

00:37:48.360 So these are the things.

00:37:49.400 And the great thing St. Teresa of Avila says, if you do mental prayer every day for six months,

00:37:57.180 you will be lifted up to another plateau in the spiritual life, very high.

00:38:02.740 And then eventually, if you keep practicing, then you start going through the desert.

00:38:08.780 The Lord starts withdrawing the sense.

00:38:10.460 in the beginning you'll be on what they call the honeymoon because sometimes it's overwhelming god

00:38:15.320 lets you feel his presence because you have to give a baby milk first before you give him meat

00:38:21.100 but now he starts pulling away and that's where the test comes do you do you serve me because i

00:38:27.200 make you feel good or you serve me because you love me and this and that and so he starts purifying

00:42:37.780 status quo and he was removed. So some bishops and or priests, they think, well, for the good

00:42:45.660 of my faithful, I have to be silent. Otherwise I'm going to get removed. How do you answer them?

00:42:49.680 what would you say to them? Because those are some of the sort of practical reasons why

00:42:56.900 the good, even very, very good ones, remain silent. But what happens, John, the ones that

00:43:02.560 remain silent, once again, they're complicit in what's going on then, whether they know it or not.

00:43:07.820 And eventually, they get totally lukewarm, and then even just, they keep going. Like,

00:43:14.140 look at the opposite what's happened to Bishop Strickland. Bishop Strickland, since he's been

00:43:19.240 kicked out. I'm telling you, he has really been much stronger, more vocal, and his knowledge of

00:43:29.580 the faith has grown too. I could tell you that, what he used to preach before and what he used

00:43:33.800 to preach now. I mean, right before, three months before he was removed, he even made statements

00:43:40.460 that Amoris LaTitia was a beautiful document on the family. But you see what happens when you

00:43:45.800 cooperate with god grace this is why the cross is good for us and now he would never say that

00:43:50.880 matter of fact he's saying no you know god god i mean look at you know this pope pius the knight

00:43:57.160 he's up for the accountants i mean he was a liberal when he took the up but he had the grace

00:44:01.560 of the office and so this is what the meant but if you're not going to pray you're not going to

00:44:05.800 be strong to stand up you know we can't do it on our own john i mean there for the grace of god

00:44:11.040 goes I. And so this is why the prayer. But the other thing is to read the lives of the saints,

00:44:36.380 thing is, when you're doing your mental prayer, if you start getting weaker, God will convict you
