00:00:00.000 Financial advisors are going to feel even more upset about not putting clients into gold.
00:00:07.260 Why? Because there's no gray area.
00:00:09.920 Again, we have hundreds of case studies of what America is walking through now.
00:00:13.720 Every one is about the same.
00:00:15.800 Perrencies, bonds get crushed.
00:00:18.720 The wealth has transitioned to gold.
00:00:26.240 Hey, my friends.
00:00:27.480 You have seen us with Drew Mason before.
00:00:29.160 He is the individual who runs St. Joseph's Partners, the group that we partnered with at LifeSite to bring safety to your families in terms of preparing yourself with gold.
00:00:39.100 And he's been a great prayer warrior for LifeSite and for all of you.
00:00:43.320 He's also been someone to bring us a lot of the ways to fast and how to prepare for the times we're coming in, not only secure it for your family in terms of gold and silver,
00:00:57.920 but also in terms of preparing yourself spiritually.
00:01:01.460 He's back with us today because there's some new developments in the economic sphere that we need to be aware of, some rather major developments.
00:01:09.320 But also, it's a time of grace that you're going to want to hear about.
00:01:14.360 This is the John Henry Weston Show with our guest, Drew Mason.
00:01:17.600 Stay tuned.
00:01:20.380 Drew, so good to be with you again.
00:01:22.060 Praise be Jesus.
00:01:22.920 Thank you for having me, John Henry.
00:01:24.280 I'm so enthused to be here with you and your audience.
00:01:26.840 Let's begin as we always do with the sign of the cross.
00:01:28.760 In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
00:01:33.140 Amen.
00:01:33.920 Amen.
00:01:34.560 Let's start with grace. 0.98
00:01:36.320 What's going on?
00:01:37.620 Thank you so much, John Henry, for allowing me to share this.
00:01:40.700 So, so many believers look at the headlines today.
00:01:44.060 They're so gloomy and they're so concerning on all fronts.
00:01:49.120 Well, for years in Medjugorje, which has been a font of conversions for 40 years now,
00:01:55.940 Our Lady has been warning us again and again, Satan is on the prowl.
00:01:59.760 You have to know how to protect your children, how to protect your families.
00:02:02.580 And she's been very cautious.
00:02:05.300 But on Christmas Day this year, when she spoke to the youngest of the people who have been
00:02:10.160 graced to visit with her, she said, grace is spreading throughout the world.
00:02:16.600 Grace is spreading throughout the world.
00:02:18.020 For her to say that from her perspective, alongside her son in heaven, we're seeing the headlines.
00:02:24.120 We're seeing the negatives, but she sees what the Holy Spirit is doing.
00:02:27.260 And she is saying, this is the moment for us not to be scared, but to step up.
00:02:32.060 Because there's incredible opportunities for us with this grace.
00:02:35.400 And I'll share with you a few, John Henry, that have just come across my transom.
00:02:40.480 My bride is in Walking with Purpose, which is a woman's Bible study group.
00:02:45.080 And one of their members said, I'm just going to go out.
00:02:47.340 I'm going to talk to all these ladies who golf with me. 1.00
00:02:49.460 Now, I don't know what they're like spiritually.
00:02:51.360 I'm going to invite them to a Bible study.
00:02:52.780 So there were 23 women, 13 of them said, I want to sign up for your regular Bibles, an 1.00
00:02:57.780 astounding number, and a secular group.
00:03:00.780 Another woman stepped up in Naples, Florida, and she said, you know, there just is not any
00:03:05.940 fellowship Bible study here in the parish.
00:03:08.520 So she started a group and she said, who would like to join me in a Bible study for our Lord?
00:03:14.000 250 women signed up on the first outing to pray and to seek the Lord.
00:03:19.920 How wonderful that is.
00:03:21.920 And John Henry, I share something too that we experienced.
00:03:25.460 We felt very much called to, in contrast to the words of Bergoglio, who am I to judge?
00:03:32.480 Not to judge, but scripture tells us if we see a brother or a sister who's living in a
00:03:37.780 way that jeopardizes their eternal life, it's our obligation to confront them in love, not
00:03:43.620 to say I'm judging you or I'm condemning you, but it's to say you need to be convicted yourself
00:03:49.540 in your own mind that your behavior is not aligned with what the Lord says.
00:03:53.960 And in many cases, scripture is explicit.
00:03:56.220 Your lifestyle is going to prevent you from going to heaven.
00:03:59.440 So needless to say, we were dreading these conversations.
00:04:02.260 These were friends and it was challenging them about relationships where they weren't married,
00:04:07.860 homosexual relationship.
00:04:09.040 And we finally got up the muscle to go and talk to them about it.
00:04:14.160 And to our shock, both of them had already repented of what they were doing.
00:04:19.060 And, you know, I feel like if we had said this years ago, it wouldn't have gone very well
00:04:24.460 with them.
00:04:25.300 And so I just want to encourage you out there, if you have been trying for years and maybe
00:04:29.860 you've given up on a sister or a cousin or a friend or a coworker to just step out in
00:04:35.580 faith and invite them again and expect these great graces are flowing.
00:04:39.840 Because we sense, we are at such an exciting moment of evangelization and renewal.
00:04:45.740 It's like the Holy Spirit is just setting this place, setting the world aflame like a
00:04:50.580 tinderbox.
00:04:51.760 And it's wonderful to see, John.
00:04:53.600 Yeah, I just had an interview with Kim Zember, one of the very few women on earth, actually, 0.97
00:04:57.620 who was in a lesbian lifestyle and then came out. 1.00
00:05:03.040 And she described to me, stunningly, if you haven't seen the interview yet, please go watch
00:05:06.740 it.
00:05:06.940 But she's an amazing speaker on the topic and very blunt.
00:05:11.740 She talks about how she met with a priest and the priest was like, you know, it's all
00:05:18.300 fine, love, you know, we understand.
00:05:20.920 And it's all about giving that falsehood.
00:05:24.120 And she describes herself, how harmful that was for her.
00:05:28.100 Didn't help her at all.
00:05:29.160 In fact, it led her into a decade of living outside of Christ.
00:05:34.380 And so it's deadly when we give the opposite message or even are silent about it.
00:05:40.760 It's so, so harmful.
00:05:42.960 It does all operate on grace.
00:05:44.960 So if there is that opportunity, you feel called to do that kind of thing, please do
00:05:48.620 it.
00:05:49.060 Always do it in love.
00:05:51.140 That's one big thing.
00:05:53.160 You have to love them in your heart.
00:05:55.640 These individuals who are tempted in a different way than you are with something different.
00:06:01.500 All of us are tempted to sin.
00:06:03.640 And usually all of us tempted also to sin in the area of sexuality as well.
00:06:10.000 So when my brother or sister fights off temptations to enter into sexual relationships with some
00:06:16.180 of the same sex, just like all of us fighting off someone to enter into temptation or see
00:06:22.060 something or whatever, do something with someone of the opposite sex.
00:06:25.160 So very much enter it with love.
00:06:27.640 And I think, especially if the graces are flowing right now, that would be a really good
00:06:32.800 idea.
00:06:33.480 Amen, John Henry.
00:06:34.480 You're right.
00:06:34.880 Because we just want the best for them, right?
00:06:36.600 That's the whole purpose for doing it.
00:06:38.560 I mean, we're setting ourselves up to not be liked.
00:06:41.360 And so I think that comes through.
00:06:42.860 They know you're doing this because you're concerned about me.
00:06:46.480 And that is what we want to project.
00:06:48.140 If that can be actually your motivation or your real intent.
00:06:52.960 And if you don't have that, maybe ask the Lord to grant you that grace, because there
00:06:56.760 are some people who perhaps were harmed or accosted by someone for whom it's harder to
00:07:03.600 get there.
00:07:05.400 And maybe it's their call to pray and fast for someone, as I know you do a lot.
00:07:11.360 But if you're called to do it and you feel that you have that grace, please go for it.
00:07:18.140 Because it really does help people.
00:07:20.800 And John Henry, if I could share with you.
00:07:23.920 So we felt led to do another Esther fast.
00:07:27.780 So today, as we're recording this Monday, this is our first day.
00:07:32.220 And for the audience who has seen any of our work before, we always say fasting is not
00:07:37.500 difficult the way our lady has lined it up. 0.72
00:07:39.300 Every Wednesday, every Friday, bread and water, but good bread.
00:07:42.760 Our slogan should be fasting.
00:07:44.040 No one said this was going to be difficult because it is truly easy.
00:07:48.540 However, we're aspiring to do this Esther fast.
00:07:51.840 And Queen Esther in the Old Testament was aware that all of God's believers, all the
00:07:56.820 Jews were slated to be exterminated.
00:07:58.920 It was in motion. 0.98
00:07:59.720 It was going to be on the 13th.
00:08:01.280 And she felt led to this prescription where she called out a very specific fast.
00:08:06.880 For the next three days, we asked no one to have anything to eat at all and nothing to
00:08:12.360 drink, which is a tough, makes it tough.
00:08:15.020 So we are doing this novena.
00:08:17.120 We're starting today.
00:08:18.340 If the audience would be inclined, join us now or start in the next day or so whenever
00:08:21.620 you can.
00:08:22.200 But we'd encourage you to try.
00:08:23.900 It's difficult.
00:08:25.220 And I would never be so arrogant as to say, I'm going to do it.
00:08:28.060 We go into every one of these saying, we're aspiring to do this, but we may not make it.
00:08:33.500 And if you had to have some water because your sense of being dehydrated, have some
00:08:37.120 water, but then just get right back up and press on to the finish line as best you can.
00:08:41.600 But our expectation is that it's going to bring great blessings.
00:08:45.700 We are fasting for one intention that we really felt is the precursor to bring in grace more
00:08:52.020 fully to our church, to our families, and to America, who I know so many of us are so
00:08:57.780 concerned about.
00:08:58.880 And our sole intention is for the grace to repent.
00:09:04.000 Now, when we first felt led to this, you don't think that's what I want to, I don't want
00:09:08.160 that intention.
00:09:08.760 I'm going to go to all this trouble for three days, right?
00:09:10.800 But what more pleasing intention is there that we can give the Lord that we would have
00:09:17.020 the Spirit lead us to want to stop offending Him and to want what He wants?
00:09:22.880 And so, John, we're expecting that we're close to an inflection point again with this
00:09:27.420 revival, this renewal, and that we are going to see this.
00:09:30.720 And it's so important to remember, when we look at scriptures, that was what had to go
00:09:35.060 first before all the other blessings flowed.
00:09:37.620 We had to make amends with our Lord before He opened up the treasure chest of His graces
00:09:42.180 for His nation.
00:09:43.760 And so, that's what we're doing right now, John Henry, and we'd welcome anybody in the
00:09:48.400 audience who would like to try with us.
00:09:50.080 We think you'll be very happy you did for thousands of years to come.
00:09:53.480 One of the things with the grace going around the world, the scriptures do tell us that where
00:09:58.720 sin abounds, grace abounds all the more.
00:10:00.340 So, we are having a rough time in terms of the world, in terms of sin as well.
00:10:06.480 But in the financial markets, things have gone rather haywire.
00:10:10.420 What are things looking like there?
00:10:12.140 Since we have spoken, John Henry, there has been major news coming out.
00:10:15.980 So, just to summarize the top few stories that we have seen in recent weeks, and make sure
00:10:20.540 the audience is aware of them.
00:10:21.680 First, if you weren't aware, one of New York's billionaires made a public statement saying
00:10:28.540 he is envisioning a $1 trillion plus write-down coming in real estate, that the valuations
00:10:34.340 are just so overblown because of what the Fed has done.
00:10:37.660 The Fed has bought $10 trillion worth of bonds, which means mortgage rates become artificially
00:10:44.240 inexpensive, which means real estate prices become artificially rich.
00:10:48.340 And that's the only reason real estate has traded so well, is because you've had this
00:10:52.680 gargantuan artificial buyer.
00:10:56.100 And he said, there's a trillion dollars in a write-down coming.
00:10:59.220 That supported what we had been writing in our market updates.
00:11:02.760 But then, just last week, John Henry, a very old, stodgy community bank, New York community
00:11:09.280 bank, admitted that they were basically being pushed to the brink of insolvency because of
00:11:14.960 their real estate portfolio.
00:11:16.100 It was so artificially marked to market.
00:11:19.520 And what we believe absolutely is coming, John Henry, is that that story is going to
00:11:22.680 proliferate across the banks.
00:11:24.420 It's inappropriate that regulators have not forced these banks to disclose this already
00:11:28.920 because it is going to cost investors billions of dollars when this percolates to the surface.
00:11:34.140 The second thing that happened, supporting in conjunction with that, the CEO of JP Morgan
00:11:39.360 came out, arguably the most influential financial firm in our country.
00:11:42.960 And he said, we are basically putting the markets into a state where they're going to have to
00:11:48.300 rebel because our debts just are insane, what's going on.
00:11:51.940 And there is not any precedent for this to work out well.
00:11:55.380 And for the CEO of a financial firm like that to make a statement like that where he's saying,
00:12:00.800 bonds may have worked well for you in the past, but they're not going to work well for you in
00:12:03.920 the future going ahead because this is a different paradigm we're sailing into, we think should be
00:12:09.180 a massive wake-up call to investors.
00:12:11.760 You've got to compartmentalize what your advisors are telling you.
00:12:15.460 I think you guys have done such a great job at LifeSite adding value with the news and the
00:12:21.160 perspective you bring.
00:12:22.260 For example, if investors watched or families watched mainstream news, they weren't very concerned
00:12:28.200 about getting the shots.
00:12:30.000 Today, a couple of years later, people are absolutely remorseful.
00:12:33.920 About having gotten the shots.
00:12:36.000 And you would say, it should have been so clear to these doctors, right?
00:12:38.960 That 35 years of precedent with coronaviruses and it really wasn't badly.
00:12:44.400 The fact that we didn't know what was going into the shots, how did they miss this?
00:12:48.180 I submit, John Henry, to the viewers.
00:12:50.760 Financial advisors are going to feel even more upset about not putting clients into gold.
00:12:57.840 Why?
00:12:58.220 Because there's no gray area.
00:13:00.260 Again, we have hundreds of case studies of what America is walking through now.
00:13:04.320 Every one has come out the same.
00:13:07.060 Ferencies, bonds, it crushed.
00:13:09.960 The wealth has transitioned to gold instead.
00:13:13.180 So we can't guarantee that.
00:13:15.300 The finance is supposed to be about the data and the probabilities.
00:13:18.000 That means if it's worked hundreds of times so far, the probability is it's going to work
00:13:22.420 moving ahead.
00:13:23.320 And families who don't prep for this are potentially facing literally, we think, generations of regret
00:13:29.920 because it's so cheap to buy gold and silver now relative to the other asset classes.
00:13:36.960 And then the third story we think investors want to be aware of, there was an expose done
00:13:41.840 by a former hedge fund manager called David Webb.
00:13:45.460 What he detailed was that the laws have been changed in all 50 states, what are called the
00:13:51.220 UCC laws.
00:13:52.540 Every state changed this.
00:13:54.660 And what it essentially did is it removed us from being owners of financial assets to
00:14:00.480 essentially being beneficiaries of those assets, which may sound nice.
00:14:04.760 But the difference that took place is that now if there's stress, the doors are open for these
00:14:10.920 financial institutions to decide, we're going to keep your assets.
00:14:13.400 You can't have them because we need them to survive.
00:14:15.940 So you have to donate these for the greater good, almost a confiscation of financial assets.
00:14:21.280 Now, to people who are out there may think there's no way that's true.
00:14:24.060 It's easy.
00:14:24.560 Go look up the UCC laws yourself.
00:14:26.720 And what we would highlight that just broke last week is that South Dakota has become the
00:14:32.080 first state in the country, and I'm sure it's because of this awareness of these UCC laws.
00:14:36.920 They have now pushed forward legislation to change their UCC laws, realizing they are really
00:14:43.120 setting up their investors for major pain if there is a crisis or even just general market
00:14:49.640 stress when it returns.
00:14:51.280 We think those are some of the major events that have happened.
00:14:54.540 We continue to see central bankers and nations around the world selling dollar assets, buying
00:15:00.740 voracious amounts of gold because, I mean, it's a vote with their wallets.
00:15:05.180 They see what's coming and they want the protection and the liquidity that gold will give.
00:15:09.300 So we think the urgency continues to be off the charts that investors get to the right allocations.
00:15:17.220 Many advisors are telling their clients, oh, as long as you have a handful of money allocated
00:15:22.860 to gold, you're set.
00:15:23.740 And the reality is that's simply not true.
00:15:25.880 We went back, John Henry, and we looked at the data because we now have over 50 years
00:15:30.740 of history since gold began trading fully in America.
00:15:34.440 And if you wanted to optimize a portfolio in terms of what's called the Sharpe Ratio, so
00:15:39.440 the maximum efficiency for your dollars at risk, 20% was an optimal allocation.
00:15:45.420 Over 20% in times of stress.
00:15:47.520 And in inflationary times, John Henry, it's a crazy finding.
00:15:52.420 But we looked at the most inflationary years, the top 20%.
00:15:57.120 And if you look at that type of inflationary environment, the optimal allocation to gold
00:16:03.080 was 100%, 100%, which is crazy.
00:16:06.940 Now, I want you to know, we are not recommending people go 100% to gold.
00:16:11.420 But what it should be saying to people is, if historically inflation follows debts, inflation
00:16:17.820 is so problematic for other assets that you really want to make sure you have an appropriate
00:16:23.320 allocation before that hits.
00:16:25.500 For those who might not know, because there probably are some, at LifeSite, we thought
00:16:29.060 of this already more than a year ago.
00:16:32.160 We thought, oh, we've got to be able to encourage our people to invest in some gold so that should
00:16:38.060 things go haywire.
00:16:39.500 Their families will be protected because we actually care about our viewers, at LifeSite
00:16:45.360 really are a family.
00:16:47.080 And so many of our donors are like family to us.
00:16:49.760 They keep us going.
00:16:50.640 They allow us to do this work.
00:16:52.300 And so we were very concerned about getting them to invest in gold so that they're protected.
00:16:58.100 But then with whom?
00:17:00.240 And that was a tough thing.
00:17:03.280 And then we found Drew Mason and his St. Joseph's partners.
00:17:06.880 So if you want a reliable place to get gold and invest in gold, protect your family, you
00:17:13.040 can do that with St. Joseph's partners.
00:17:14.560 If you go to stjosephspartners.com slash LifeSite News, you'll be able to have Drew and his team
00:17:20.760 take care of you there.
00:17:21.940 You can also go to LifeSite News and click on the link at the top right hand side of the
00:17:25.540 page.
00:17:25.780 You'll see the ad for St. Joseph's partners.
00:17:28.300 And it's there.
00:17:28.920 Step us through that process, if you will.
00:17:30.760 How does this work?
00:17:31.680 Like, you know, how when people go there, what will they see and how do they get started?
00:17:38.340 So when you come to the site, just ask for some contact information from you and our team
00:17:42.700 will reach out to you.
00:17:44.600 If you have an interest in what's called a taxable account, meaning you've already earned the
00:17:50.220 money and paid taxes on it, we'll step you through all the details with that.
00:17:53.600 And we have a team dedicated entirely to doing retirement accounts because so many investors
00:17:59.780 have, so many families have an extraordinary amount of their worth in their IRAs and other
00:18:05.940 retirement plans.
00:18:06.880 And they feel very concerned about that.
00:18:09.260 And the process is more laborious to do that.
00:18:13.580 So our team, we take great pride in them making it easy.
00:18:17.620 They step through every part of the process and they essentially help complete the forms
00:18:21.960 for our investors.
00:18:24.240 We try to make it as easy as possible.
00:18:26.820 And we feel very pleased and proud of the feedback we're getting from investors who say,
00:18:33.100 you know, your staff returns calls.
00:18:34.940 They're articulate.
00:18:36.740 We make every effort to care about what they're doing.
00:18:39.980 Let me just stop you there for a second.
00:18:41.220 So you're saying that you can actually turn part of your retirement investment into gold?
00:18:48.480 Yes, exactly, John Henry.
00:18:49.680 So the way that would work is you have your current custodian, your current account, and
00:18:56.120 we would open an account for you specifically designed to hold physical gold.
00:19:01.660 So it's not paper gold where they may not be able to get it to you.
00:19:05.140 It's physical gold entirely for you.
00:19:08.220 And you would then transfer a portion of your IRA.
00:19:13.680 It does not have to be the whole thing at all.
00:19:15.500 We counsel people, again, to diversify, like the Bible says, but to transfer a portion of that.
00:19:21.280 And then we can buy many types of gold and silver to hold in your portfolio.
00:19:27.360 And then when the client has that, their retirement's protected, but it's been in a tax-deferred wrapper.
00:19:33.300 So there's no tax consequence at all of doing that.
00:19:35.980 However, the client now has the option that if it's their investor, if they're looking at the news and they think, wow, things are getting bad, I'm not so concerned about a tax multiplication.
00:19:47.960 I just want my medal with me.
00:19:50.080 They can then call and take distribution of that medal.
00:19:52.980 And that may sound like an insignificant point, John Henry, but when you realize gold is less than 1% of global wealth, it doesn't take a whole lot of math to see if 1% of the people want a few percent, you're going to be multiples above this level.
00:20:08.580 And to get gold in what's referred to as money form, where it's been made by a sovereign nation and it carries a face value of currency on it so that it's easily recognized.
00:20:19.540 We are not talking about collectibles, run the other way, if you hear anything like that, but just bullion that's easily recognizable.
00:20:28.180 So when I want to sell it, you're going to look at it and say, oh, I can prove this is easily true.
00:20:32.480 So there's going to be such a backlog to get that when people try to convert after the light bulbs have gone on.
00:20:40.920 Whereas by allocating this now in an IRA, client can choose form factors because the premiums to buy now are very low.
00:20:49.660 There are multi-year lows because people are so complacent about the market's doing great.
00:20:54.900 Why would I worry about preparing for tomorrow?
00:20:57.460 So it's a great opportunity for people with retirement plans and taxable accounts.
00:21:04.160 If you would, Drew, close us off. Final thoughts.
00:21:06.300 I think this is a grace-filled moment for you. Do not be discouraged as you look at the headlines.
00:21:11.680 Jesus said last week in the gospel to us, go out and preach the gospel.
00:21:15.000 That was his command to all of his apostles.
00:21:17.480 He said, if people don't accept the gospel to repent, just shake the sand off your feet and move on.
00:21:22.720 Know that you try.
00:21:23.540 But the grace is there. Encourage it. Join us for fasting.
00:21:28.100 We're going to convert. The Holy Spirit is going to lead to the conversion of so many people.
00:21:32.740 And ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in finances.
00:21:35.700 We can't guarantee you gold is going to work.
00:21:38.240 But when, again, you look at the probabilities, seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to make sure you have at least some in your portfolio to protect your family.
00:21:46.620 Thank you so much, Drew.
00:21:47.280 Drew, why don't you guys start with your families?
00:21:51.000 We're all called to evangelize, specifically our families, first and foremost.
00:21:54.240 So let's start there.
00:21:55.860 Drew Mason, so good to be with you as always. God bless you.
00:21:58.800 Thanks so much, John Henry.
00:22:00.020 And God bless all of you.
