00:00:00.260 Americans need to be courageous.
00:00:02.860 They need to stand with people like you.
00:00:05.080 I mean, they need to be courageous.
00:00:06.640 I'm sorry to say this, but with this information they are getting
00:00:09.660 about the deep church and the deep state,
00:00:11.880 why are they not responding? 0.98
00:00:13.500 They should stop being cowards. 0.98
00:00:22.440 You know, what's going on with the church 0.96
00:00:25.620 and this sort of crackdown on the traditional mass all over the place,
00:00:29.020 it's not only affecting the churches in the West.
00:00:32.640 I wanted to show you a glimpse of what's happening in Africa.
00:00:36.340 In Africa, there are a few traditional masses,
00:00:40.040 but there are few and far between.
00:00:41.740 They really don't have much of tradition in Africa.
00:00:45.760 When it's tried, it's usually resisted.
00:00:50.960 And this has been a real difficulty for all those who struggle and want it.
00:00:55.420 Now, there is a seminarian, then priest,
00:00:58.040 who during seminary was introduced to the Latin mass,
00:01:00.500 actually by books by Michael Davis sent to him,
00:01:03.660 and requested permission to go as a priest once I think he was in his sabbatical year
00:01:09.340 to try and go and learn the traditional mass.
00:01:12.060 Anyway, he did learn it eventually on his own sabbatical
00:01:15.140 and came back and asked the bishop if he could celebrate the traditional mass
00:01:19.320 for people there in Nigeria.
00:01:22.360 And basically, he was forbidden.
00:01:25.040 He was trying to celebrate the Novus Ordo mass in a most conservative way possible and so on.
00:01:32.360 But there was resistance there too.
00:01:35.200 And he felt called to enter tradition,
00:01:39.100 especially since, you know, Pope Benedict had allowed for it already in 2007 with Simorum Pontificum.
00:01:44.160 And these situations are tragic.
00:01:46.720 And they're not only in America or Canada or Europe.
00:01:51.540 They're also in Africa.
00:01:52.960 So there's a hunger, a hunger for the traditional mass in Africa.
00:01:56.820 And believe it or not, they've got, they've set up,
00:02:00.020 they can only do their own private masses,
00:02:01.420 but there are people flocking to seminaries that they've started to teach the traditional mass
00:02:07.540 and even convents.
00:02:09.820 It's unbelievable.
00:02:11.160 But you're going to see how it is.
00:02:13.740 This is Father Abba Samuel,
00:02:16.600 who we have up next on The John Henry Weston Show.
00:02:18.860 Stay tuned.
00:02:21.140 Take a look at this.
00:02:22.180 This is Cardinal Burke talking in 2017
00:02:24.900 about demonic forces entering the church at that time in 2017.
00:02:29.580 Hard to believe that's so long ago.
00:02:31.440 This was given at Rome Life Forum,
00:02:33.300 a conference that LifeSite has been running since 2014, actually.
00:02:37.640 Do you know that we're running another one this year,
00:02:40.520 October 31st and November 1st?
00:02:42.580 That is right at the end of this horrific synod on synodality.
00:02:48.160 October 31st, November 1st, 2023.
00:02:50.960 Come join us in Rome.
00:02:52.240 Go to romelifeforum.com for more information.
00:02:56.300 Watch Cardinal Burke give this snippet
00:02:59.020 on demonic forces entering into the Vatican
00:03:01.520 from his talk at Rome Life Forum in 2017.
00:03:06.740 It seems clear from the most respected studies
00:03:09.660 of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima
00:03:11.840 that it has to do with the diabolical forces
00:03:15.520 unleashed upon the world in our time
00:03:18.240 and entering into the very life of the church.
00:03:21.380 For the recovery of peace will be a gift from heaven,
00:03:25.500 but it is not properly speaking
00:03:28.020 the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
00:03:31.060 Her victory is of another order,
00:03:33.260 supernatural and then temporal by addition.
00:03:37.220 It will first be the victory of the faith,
00:03:41.860 which will put an end to the time of apostasy
00:03:45.240 and the great shortcomings of the church's pastors.
00:03:48.420 Father Abba Samuel, welcome to the program.
00:03:53.320 Thank you.
00:03:54.260 Let's begin, as we always do,
00:03:55.300 with the sign of the cross.
00:03:56.080 Father, if you could lead us, please.
00:03:57.420 I'm on the path, please, at Philly,
00:03:58.900 at Spiritus Sancti. Amen.
00:04:01.260 So good to be with you.
00:04:02.220 First of all, tell us a little bit about
00:04:03.880 something about yourself.
00:04:05.620 Where are you from and what are you doing?
00:04:09.180 I was ordained in 2003, October 25th.
00:04:13.640 I was born in 1976, November 5th.
00:04:17.880 I'm a priest of Otoko Diocese
00:04:19.860 in Beno State of Nigeria.
00:04:22.740 This year, we mark my 20th year
00:04:25.100 in a Catholic priesthood.
00:04:27.620 Currently, I'm a traditional Catholic priest,
00:04:30.800 keeping traditional Catholic faiths and morals,
00:04:33.720 and I'm the rector of the sons
00:04:36.120 and the sisters of the sacred
00:04:39.720 and Immaculate Hearts congregation in Nigeria,
00:04:45.380 trying to uphold our Catholic faith
00:04:47.240 and morals in this state of the deep church
00:04:51.460 and the deep state.
00:04:53.980 It has come down to us now,
00:04:55.900 and we need to respond as a remnant group.
00:04:59.320 So that's the brief.
00:05:00.240 I can say about myself for now.
00:05:02.560 Currently, we have 22 seminarians,
00:05:03.720 seminarians, and we have 19 ladies or sisters
00:05:07.820 trying to try out the vocation
00:05:10.400 in the Catholic tradition.
00:05:13.800 Now, it's funny that you mentioned
00:05:15.500 that the deep church is there
00:05:17.660 and the deep state is there
00:05:18.760 because from our side of the world,
00:05:23.220 it's a very different picture.
00:05:24.960 When we go to Africa, 0.86
00:05:26.900 when I was just in,
00:05:28.520 just late last year,
00:05:29.580 I was in Kenya and Uganda.
00:05:30.860 I was stunned by how faithful the bishops are
00:05:34.200 on the life and family issues.
00:05:37.280 Whereas so many of our bishops,
00:05:39.480 particularly on the issue of homosexuality,
00:05:41.980 are unfaithful,
00:05:43.320 are just giving in on it,
00:05:45.140 are not willing to talk about it,
00:05:46.920 not willing to preach the truth on it.
00:05:48.540 Your bishops in Africa 0.92
00:05:49.520 were all about preaching the truth.
00:05:51.660 Now, South Africa is a different story,
00:05:53.320 but all of the regular Africa is solid.
00:05:57.860 The whole church preaches the truth
00:06:00.800 on life and family.
00:06:02.020 It is not talked about.
00:06:03.760 It is a taboo.
00:06:05.440 So, it's not an issue for our people down here,
00:06:10.700 unfortunately.
00:06:13.200 But there are vestiges of it
00:06:15.600 already trying to take hold.
00:06:17.860 So, we have people now,
00:06:21.120 the youths are trying to explore
00:06:23.700 because of the internet.
00:06:25.800 They're trying to explore such means.
00:06:28.620 And we have vestiges of it already happening,
00:06:31.340 but still,
00:06:32.100 it is still neat to the board
00:06:33.600 because it's a taboo.
00:06:35.320 So, those who practice it,
00:06:36.880 they practice it.
00:06:37.680 They are there,
00:06:38.760 but in serious hiding.
00:06:41.100 But with the Western world
00:06:42.340 influencing almost everything now,
00:06:44.200 they are beginning to gain grounds
00:06:46.960 in some quarters.
00:06:48.740 So, we have sections of those people
00:06:50.360 operating in schools,
00:06:52.780 boarding schools,
00:06:53.820 and they are there in the seminary.
00:06:55.980 They are also there in the convent.
00:06:59.060 But they are still hidden.
00:07:01.600 So, it is already coming up.
00:07:05.000 And the bishops are very, very strong on it.
00:07:08.260 But they have not really
00:07:10.860 put their feet down to say,
00:07:13.180 okay, it is happening.
00:07:15.240 So, but they have vestiges of it.
00:07:17.320 And direct expulsion is given
00:07:18.800 to those who practice such things
00:07:20.140 or are involved in such things.
00:07:21.960 But it's there.
00:07:23.960 One of the interesting things
00:07:24.980 about Africa that I noticed anyway
00:07:26.980 is that among these churches,
00:07:31.140 which are oh so faithful
00:07:32.320 on life and family issues,
00:07:33.660 the liturgy is somewhat impoverished.
00:07:38.960 It's very cultural.
00:07:40.700 So, it uses a lot of
00:07:41.720 the cultural expression,
00:07:42.800 which might be used
00:07:43.640 in all sorts of ways during prayer.
00:07:47.320 But the understanding
00:07:49.140 of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
00:07:50.940 is it's just that,
00:07:51.900 a Holy Sacrifice.
00:07:52.900 And that's why the whole
00:07:53.700 traditional Mass movement
00:07:54.580 sort of retained
00:07:55.500 what it should be.
00:07:57.420 We're present at the sacrifice of Jesus.
00:07:59.320 And so, that was sort of,
00:08:03.600 you know, apart from
00:08:05.140 a kind of periods of worship or prayer
00:08:09.040 where you could have
00:08:10.040 all sorts of cultural expression.
00:08:12.500 The Mass, however,
00:08:13.900 is the sacrifice of Calvary.
00:08:15.980 So, it was a different thing.
00:08:17.680 If you can get into that a little bit,
00:08:19.520 because that's only my experience.
00:08:21.640 It's limited experience in Africa.
00:08:23.680 Have you seen that as well?
00:08:25.340 And what have you seen
00:08:26.080 of traditional playing out in Africa?
00:08:27.480 Africans were so fortunate.
00:08:31.000 We did not really have a history
00:08:32.840 of the traditional Catholic Mass.
00:08:38.980 You know, Pope Paul VI
00:08:41.100 only brought up the mass in 1969
00:08:43.800 that does the Novus Ordo Misa.
00:08:47.280 And at that time,
00:08:48.200 Africans were just coming out 1.00
00:08:49.840 from African traditional religion.
00:08:53.200 The early missionaries
00:08:54.020 have established some places.
00:08:55.940 Christianity was not up to 1.00
00:08:57.740 30 years or 50 years
00:08:59.720 deeply in the roots
00:09:00.480 in our places.
00:09:01.860 So, we don't really know much
00:09:03.760 about the traditional Catholic Mass.
00:09:06.480 So, any priest who comes up today
00:09:08.360 to say he is for traditional Catholic Mass,
00:09:11.040 it's like,
00:09:11.780 he's in a dream's world.
00:09:13.280 He's not moving with Rome.
00:09:15.300 But,
00:09:15.800 we discovered that
00:09:17.600 the people were able to maintain
00:09:20.680 a conservative Catholicism
00:09:23.560 that was based
00:09:25.260 on the initial plan
00:09:26.460 of the traditional Catholic
00:09:28.380 spirituality and mass,
00:09:30.040 which was taught to them
00:09:31.300 by the early missionaries.
00:09:33.540 So, Catholics were distinguished
00:09:34.860 from Protestants,
00:09:38.060 and they were known
00:09:39.020 for their devotion to Our Lady.
00:09:41.040 They were known
00:09:41.920 for their kind of mass,
00:09:43.660 in a stand believing
00:09:44.280 that Christ is truly present,
00:09:45.720 body and blood,
00:09:47.080 student divinity.
00:09:47.600 experiencing.
00:09:48.760 So,
00:09:49.600 and for us in Nigeria here,
00:09:52.100 the issue of communion
00:09:53.280 in the hand
00:09:53.980 never really was
00:09:54.980 something to be practiced.
00:09:56.560 It was still a taboo.
00:09:58.300 It was on head of
00:09:59.160 that people should bring their hands
00:10:00.460 and receive the sacred species.
00:10:03.380 So,
00:10:04.340 when,
00:10:05.300 yes,
00:10:05.820 it was a taboo.
00:10:06.640 You can't even try it.
00:10:08.440 You know,
00:10:08.780 so,
00:10:09.180 when Ebola
00:10:09.860 came up in 2004,
00:10:12.200 Ebola virus,
00:10:13.620 they tried to introduce it,
00:10:15.460 especially in Nigeria,
00:10:16.200 but people kick against it.
00:10:18.500 Then,
00:10:18.860 with COVID-19,
00:10:19.700 in 2020,
00:10:21.320 it became an issue.
00:10:23.320 And that's where
00:10:23.660 Simo Force
00:10:24.160 backed out
00:10:25.280 that we cannot
00:10:26.720 administer the Lord
00:10:27.900 in the hands of people.
00:10:29.640 If you must do that,
00:10:31.080 then count us out.
00:10:33.460 At this time,
00:10:34.060 Simo Force
00:10:34.420 has started knowing
00:10:34.940 about the Tashnika Litmas.
00:10:36.180 There are places
00:10:36.700 in the country currently,
00:10:38.860 the Fraternity of St. Peter
00:10:39.900 and the SSPX.
00:10:42.720 They're already having
00:10:43.220 some places
00:10:44.000 and Simo Force
00:10:44.940 who also learned
00:10:45.860 from them.
00:10:46.800 So,
00:10:47.640 people begin to know
00:10:48.420 about the Tashnika Catholic mass
00:10:49.480 and spirituality
00:10:50.080 and
00:10:51.780 they started knowing
00:10:54.180 that there was
00:10:54.800 a mass
00:10:56.000 that was
00:10:57.320 a Catholic mass
00:10:58.740 and that can be practiced
00:11:00.540 officially
00:11:01.760 with a church.
00:11:03.680 And with
00:11:04.400 the modern pontificate
00:11:05.040 coming up
00:11:05.620 by Pope Benedict XVI,
00:11:07.820 many wanted
00:11:08.760 to learn the mass,
00:11:10.120 but the bishops
00:11:10.740 clambered on it
00:11:13.180 because they said
00:11:14.420 they don't have people
00:11:15.800 who want to learn the mass.
00:11:16.840 People are not interested
00:11:17.380 in the mass.
00:11:18.160 But that was not true
00:11:19.160 because as more people
00:11:20.860 are beginning to know
00:11:21.380 about this mass
00:11:22.540 and seeing what is happening
00:11:24.100 to the Novus Odum Misa,
00:11:25.760 they felt that,
00:11:26.720 okay,
00:11:26.980 it is time for them
00:11:27.700 to have this mass.
00:11:29.100 So,
00:11:29.600 there is a big disservice
00:11:31.240 being done
00:11:32.040 to the faithful
00:11:32.660 in Nigeria.
00:11:34.980 They want this mass.
00:11:36.620 They want to worship Christ
00:11:38.800 in the way Christ
00:11:40.740 at the church
00:11:41.620 has instituted it
00:11:42.700 from the time
00:11:43.260 of the apostles.
00:11:44.540 So,
00:11:45.040 it's necessary
00:11:46.540 for us
00:11:47.140 to have this mass
00:11:48.060 given to our people.
00:11:49.420 But the bishops
00:11:50.760 are very,
00:11:51.640 very clever
00:11:52.600 on not propagating
00:11:55.080 this particular liturgy
00:11:56.320 that the people
00:11:57.380 will want
00:11:58.400 because we are generally
00:11:59.740 very, very reverent
00:12:01.080 when it comes
00:12:01.900 to liturgy.
00:12:02.880 And all these new things
00:12:04.140 are bringing up
00:12:04.560 in the Catholic church,
00:12:05.320 Catholics in Nigeria
00:12:06.900 are not really
00:12:08.080 used to it
00:12:09.440 and they don't
00:12:10.300 really want it.
00:12:11.460 But it is already coming.
00:12:13.480 What is your experience
00:12:14.300 with the Latin mass?
00:12:15.340 How did it develop
00:12:16.360 for you?
00:12:16.740 How did you learn
00:12:17.380 about it?
00:12:17.940 And how did that go?
00:12:19.740 I was in a seminary.
00:12:20.760 I was doing
00:12:21.180 2003,
00:12:22.040 as I said earlier on.
00:12:23.440 So,
00:12:23.680 in my theology too,
00:12:25.360 some group of persons,
00:12:27.120 I don't know
00:12:27.380 where they came from,
00:12:28.080 I don't know
00:12:28.560 how they did it,
00:12:29.200 but they sent books
00:12:30.160 all over major seminaries,
00:12:32.540 probably some
00:12:32.900 traditionalist activists.
00:12:34.960 So,
00:12:35.500 I got to read
00:12:36.760 for the first time
00:12:38.160 Ataveni Intervention,
00:12:40.820 Ataveni Intervention
00:12:41.620 and Bachi.
00:12:42.560 Then,
00:12:43.060 I also got to read
00:12:44.240 The Traditional Catholic 0.67
00:12:45.260 by Michael Davis.
00:12:47.400 Michael Davis.
00:12:48.540 So,
00:12:48.760 they sent these books
00:12:49.400 to our seminary
00:12:50.020 and so I first got
00:13:04.300 them.
00:13:06.760 I got to learn
00:13:07.460 I got to read
00:13:07.740 The Illustrated Catholic
00:13:07.860 and I have to other
00:13:08.300 things that they
00:13:08.600 came from the
00:13:10.560 intersection,
00:13:11.040 as I got to read
00:13:11.540 the saat after
00:13:12.480 verb demode
00:13:13.200 and they just got
00:13:13.900 to neutralize
00:13:14.340 the JASON
00:13:15.200 and I do
00:13:16.300 not remember
00:13:16.840 the cover
00:13:18.540 of the Grizzly
00:13:20.320 and the directors
00:13:20.780 and the pastor
00:13:22.480 can then review
00:13:23.280 thecket
00:13:24.820 as I talking about
00:13:25.820 how did they
00:13:30.020 the Voldem
00:13:31.460 win.
00:13:31.720 Thank you.
00:14:01.720 Thank you.
00:14:31.720 Thank you.
00:15:01.720 Thank you.
00:15:31.720 Thank you.
00:16:01.720 And I went back to give the people the Mass.
00:16:04.580 And that is when many of them came to know the traditional Catholic Mass, because that
00:16:07.940 was the only Mass I was waiting for them during that period.
00:16:10.780 So in 2020, on the Feast of Our Lady, the Feast of Our Lady, the Feast of Our Lady, October 8th, that was when I had my last Novus Odo Mass.
00:16:26.780 Because I told the Bishop, I want to, from henceforth, saying that the control that they have over the Novus Odo Mass is too strong.
00:16:37.100 And in the traditional Catholic Mass, it is very, very easy to do the right thing, to do the right thing, to do what our Lord wants.
00:16:46.520 So I prayed to Our Lady, Our Lady now gave me the inspiration and said, this is the Mass from henceforth.
00:16:53.120 So I told the Bishop that this is the Mass I want to celebrate for the people from henceforth.
00:16:56.680 And from that time to today, 2003, that was the Mass I've been celebrating.
00:17:02.580 In 2023, that's the Mass I want to give to the people, if it permits me.
00:17:09.280 But currently, I don't have the permission to give to the people, so I'm like a vagus.
00:17:14.800 What has become of your parishioners who were with you before?
00:17:19.860 Lagos Act Diocese invited me.
00:17:22.000 It's a bigger diocese than my diocese.
00:17:24.380 My diocese is a smaller diocese in Nigeria.
00:17:26.340 But Lagos Act Diocese is a metropolitan diocese, the former capital of Nigeria.
00:17:30.860 So the faithful opted for the Mass, and they asked that they would like me.
00:17:38.620 They told their Archbishop, Martins, Adewali Martins, they would like Father Samuel to come and help them with the Mass.
00:17:45.040 So the Archbishop called on me, His Grace, and asked me if I can come down and help with the traditional Catholic Mass in his act diocese.
00:17:53.860 So I opted for that.
00:17:55.460 I went to see him, but he told me, Father, would you give communion in the hands?
00:18:00.860 And still celebrate the traditional Catholic Mass for the faithful who wants it.
00:18:04.940 I said to him, in conscience, I cannot administer the Lord on the hand.
00:18:11.800 And he was not comfortable with that.
00:18:15.140 So he said, Father, you cannot walk in my diocese.
00:18:19.560 I said, thank you, Your Grace.
00:18:21.000 I nailed down, received His blessing.
00:18:22.740 I came back home, still insisted with my bishop that I would like to celebrate the traditional Catholic Mass for the faithful.
00:18:29.860 I almost wanted to resign from the priests, from the active ministry.
00:18:37.740 But I was advised not to do that.
00:18:39.940 So currently, my case is still being studied by the diocese, and we are hopeful that they will give me a hearing so that if I have the right to celebrate the traditional Catholic Mass for the people, then fair and good.
00:18:51.300 But if they don't want to give me, I still do what I feel I can do for the Remnant Church. 1.00
00:18:56.460 You know that here on LifeSite, we love to tell amazing stories.
00:19:03.460 There are a few so heroic and amazing as the story we're about to tell you that's coming soon.
00:19:09.800 You've got to watch this.
00:19:10.760 When I was in seminary, I was reading a book by Henry Nowen.
00:19:17.140 He talked about a nuclear man, you know, and people who grew up in the 1980s were kind of formed by that immediate and constant threat of nuclear annihilation.
00:19:27.800 My generation has grown up, you know, under the specter of priestly sexual abuse.
00:19:35.940 What say you, Mr. Foreperson, is the defendant guilty or not guilty?
00:19:40.060 I think that for many of us, that has also been all-encompassing.
00:19:44.900 You know, I mean, I entered the seminary in January of 2004, and it's basically been there for me from the beginning.
00:19:52.280 One priest's sacrifice for many priestly sins.
00:20:00.740 The story of Father John Halliwell.
00:20:05.040 Coming soon from LifeSite News.
00:20:08.920 Is there a type of an underground church then there going on?
00:20:13.620 Because we have, you know, been told by Bishop Snyder himself that where this is forbidden, it can't be.
00:20:22.280 So you're under a kind of disobedience, but it's not really, because you're obeying a higher authority.
00:20:29.560 Because this Mass from time immemorial was allowed, and it was reinforced by Pope Benedict XVI in Semorum Pontificum in 2007.
00:20:41.020 He made it so that priests don't even have to request from their bishops the ability to say this Mass because it's available perpetually.
00:20:49.080 How has that played out in your life to this date?
00:20:51.540 What goes on then with your parishioners or those who are with you for the Mass?
00:20:56.860 So those who come for the Mass, I told them clearly, I have no right to take care of your soul.
00:21:03.280 Go and request from the bishop the Mass.
00:21:07.160 And some of them actually did, and the bishops, sorry, the bishops, and some of the parish, the priests, tell them, go away.
00:21:15.600 You know, it's so like a jungle justice thing. 0.97
00:21:19.680 And it's not professional.
00:21:23.160 You know, they make it look as if the Mass is evil.
00:21:27.000 You know, they make it look as if the Mass is evil.
00:21:31.400 And they are just faithful, simple Catholic.
00:21:35.300 Very simple Catholic.
00:21:36.820 They just want to receive their Lord the right way.
00:21:39.920 And so it's painful.
00:21:43.100 So I decided to retire, not officially, just to be doing my Mass privately.
00:21:50.080 But the people kept on coming.
00:21:52.060 I tell the bishop, my Lord, I am not the one bringing these people.
00:21:55.680 They came to me.
00:21:58.660 And so I keep records of those who asked for the Mass and the places.
00:22:03.020 So currently we have about 15 chapels, 15 chapels in Benway State who have asked for this Mass.
00:22:13.740 So we go to give them the Mass once in a while, and we keep records of the activities we carried out with them.
00:22:22.960 For baptism and other sacraments.
00:22:27.260 So we keep records.
00:22:28.940 So the people want the spirituality.
00:22:31.180 They want it.
00:22:32.420 So I feel that they should be given.
00:22:35.940 And it became so interesting when some young men approached me and said they would like to be trained for the traditional Catholic spirituality and priesthood.
00:22:46.960 And guess what?
00:22:50.440 What can I do?
00:22:52.020 So currently we have them, 22 of them.
00:22:55.880 We are faced with lots of hardship.
00:22:58.820 That is to say, we live each day as it comes.
00:23:02.340 And it is interesting to see what our lady is doing. 1.00
00:23:05.720 For me, it's our lady.
00:23:07.480 It has to be her.
00:23:08.600 Because she wanted these boys to be trained.
00:23:11.700 And we have the ladies also who are also being trained. 0.53
00:23:15.220 So currently we have the seminary and we have the convents.
00:23:19.080 And all this was not planned.
00:23:21.840 Three years ago, none of this was planned.
00:23:24.760 But currently now, we are moving.
00:23:28.120 The boys now, 18 of them are in philosophy one.
00:23:31.200 And five of them are in the spiritual year.
00:23:33.780 They are running up by this month.
00:23:35.560 And then the sisters, we have one of them professed.
00:23:40.300 Five of them, five of them are in the novice eight.
00:23:45.180 Then five are in the postulancy.
00:23:47.780 And we have four in the aspirancy.
00:23:50.720 And we have lots of invitation.
00:23:53.100 People live in the novice oldo seminary coming to come and join us.
00:23:57.940 So currently it's amazing.
00:24:01.000 It's amazing.
00:24:01.940 And we are really, really, that's why I'm happy speaking with you now.
00:24:07.780 Let people come and see what is happening.
00:24:10.760 These traditional Catholics, you know, are looking for the traditional Catholic spirituality 1.00
00:24:16.120 and mass.
00:24:17.700 So why should any bishop or the hierarchy of the church deprive them of this?
00:24:22.260 When we got in contact with Archbishop Carlo Varavigano, he was so amazing.
00:24:30.020 He was so amazed.
00:24:31.820 We sent down our invitation to him and we told him what is going on.
00:24:36.500 And he gave us his blessing.
00:24:38.440 So as it is now, we just remain quiet, doing the best you can do,
00:24:44.260 and still hoping that somebody will listen to us and come to our aid.
00:24:49.200 Father, what do you do about the eventual need to ordain these men who are going through as seminarians?
00:24:56.800 We leave that to Our Lady.
00:24:58.060 Ours is to train them.
00:24:59.240 When they get information, then we pray to her and she will know how to get a bishop to come and get them ordained.
00:25:07.500 How did it work for your sister, the religious sister that was professed?
00:25:11.300 Yes, we got a bishop, you know, I have to withhold his name for now, for obvious reason, because of her tax.
00:25:20.860 Who did it for her? 0.95
00:25:22.780 You know, kind of instantly.
00:25:24.100 So those things are done that way for now, because there's a lot going on.
00:25:28.940 We are like an endangered species.
00:25:30.860 People are aware of us, and even this show now, if it goes out, we don't know what's going to happen if they come and attack us.
00:25:39.280 Because the CBCN, that's the Catholic Church Conference, they are already aware of what I am doing.
00:25:47.000 They are already aware of this seminary, and there are lots of attacks.
00:25:51.800 You know what I'm talking about.
00:25:53.400 I guess you know it.
00:25:55.920 Lots of attack.
00:25:56.840 Now, apart from spiritual attack, we have also physical attack.
00:26:01.520 You know, there was a place I went to celebrate Mass, and they brought the policemen with guns to come and ask me out of the place.
00:26:10.640 And the woman said, I brought a traditional Catholic priest, but she can't want, she calls it.
00:26:16.540 That's her own understanding.
00:26:18.040 She went and celebrated Mass in my compound.
00:26:20.320 So you cannot come and accost him.
00:26:21.960 He's not coming to your parish to celebrate Mass.
00:26:23.940 He came to my house, and I said, the police left.
00:26:27.140 The police was sent by the parish priest of that area.
00:26:30.780 So we have all this attack going on, you know, and the bishops are aware of what I'm doing, but they are seeing us as, they tell the people that we are outside the church.
00:26:43.480 But when people come and they see what we are doing, and it's Catholic, and it's not really outside the church, they become confused.
00:26:50.540 So many of them are asking the bishops that, why can't they have this Mass?
00:26:56.460 Why can't they have a traditional Catholic seminary, as the church have always wanted it in the past?
00:27:01.340 So there's this battle going on.
00:27:03.900 So most times, when we want to get profession and ordinations, by the grace of God, we go kind of started looking for who can help us to get it done.
00:27:12.640 But, of course, not from the country.
00:27:15.380 It has to be outside the country.
00:27:16.960 Where do you see this going?
00:27:18.000 I mean, you've got now, how many men studying?
00:27:20.900 You've said 19?
00:27:22.080 23 of them.
00:27:23.140 Five of them in the spiritual IA, and 22, 18 of them in the philosophy I.
00:27:28.280 Father, what else would you like to tell us about your order, about what you're doing there?
00:27:31.700 What we are doing is for Our Lady, because she's behind it, inspirationally, and we need, in a deep sense, we need to get these boys good Catholic literatures.
00:27:47.340 Thank God, of recent, turn books, turn book, send some books to the sisters.
00:27:52.980 It was so amazing.
00:27:54.940 Turn books, some books to the sisters.
00:27:56.740 Then, St. Philomena, St. Philomena's Devotion, they sent some cords, renal cords, and materials to the seminary.
00:28:08.020 Then, we have a lady who is helping us coordinate in America. 1.00
00:28:15.140 I think she linked us to you.
00:28:17.300 And this lady is doing her best to see how we can get sponsorship for the seminarians. 0.99
00:28:23.180 Because many of them are from very poor homes, but they have a good heart.
00:28:29.280 And some of them are from very good Catholic families.
00:28:33.040 So, it is not, it's a response to the crisis.
00:28:38.520 It's a response to the crisis.
00:28:40.880 So, currently, we need to have a place for them to study.
00:28:46.060 Currently, we are renting, we are renting the apartments, and the deep states, and the deep church are aware of activities.
00:28:56.640 So, we have to be careful.
00:28:59.640 We have to own our own properties, so that they can be trained properly, both for the sisters and for the brothers.
00:29:07.040 And two other priests have come to join me in this.
00:29:10.180 So, one of them is taking care of the spiritual aid program.
00:29:14.800 One of them is in the missions, opening more places as the people come to us.
00:29:20.520 The people really want this, but unfortunately, they are poor.
00:29:26.300 Because many of them have been ousted from their parish.
00:29:29.700 For example, there was a place they called me to come and celebrate Mass for them.
00:29:33.100 And the parish priest told them, let us see how you will get a priest to come to this typical village.
00:29:41.980 This typical village to come and celebrate Mass for people.
00:29:45.180 And here I am.
00:29:47.100 I went.
00:29:48.420 When I went, the parish priest told them that I am not a true priest.
00:29:52.800 That if I was a true priest, how can a priest come and stay in a tash roof? 0.95
00:29:57.360 Then I told them that Jesus Christ was giving birth to in a manger.
00:30:01.300 So, if he says I'm not a true priest, let him come and ask me.
00:30:05.680 So, it was so funny.
00:30:07.300 And the people now got the message.
00:30:09.500 And I said, we did a Mass for them.
00:30:11.060 And now it's one of our biggest chapels.
00:30:13.280 How can we help you?
00:30:14.540 Come and see what we are doing.
00:30:16.220 Come to Nigeria. 0.99
00:30:17.620 Come and see what we are doing.
00:30:19.460 I bet you, if you come, you will be in tears.
00:30:24.000 You know, the condition.
00:30:26.500 It's, we just try to respond to the Catholic faith.
00:30:31.680 Sometimes the food is not too wonderful, you know, but we just survive.
00:30:37.340 You know, and you'll be surprised that I do most of the lectures.
00:30:41.420 Most of the lectures.
00:30:42.660 I teach three courses every blessed day during the academic year.
00:30:48.740 Three courses.
00:30:49.340 And I take care of the sisters every blessed day, sometimes a bit more twice in a day during the week.
00:30:57.620 Twice in the day.
00:30:58.860 I have spiritual conferences.
00:31:00.780 And I take care of the spiritual direction to get our data priests.
00:31:05.500 And so, it's, we're just working.
00:31:08.080 But our lady is there.
00:31:09.500 She's helping us out.
00:31:11.040 I have to say our lady always because it can only be her.
00:31:15.120 It cannot be her.
00:31:15.740 She wants this because it is said that Africa is going to be the hope for the church.
00:31:22.540 So, I'm happy with what I'm doing.
00:31:25.820 And I know she's going to provide.
00:31:28.160 So, if you can come and see what you are doing and look for sponsors.
00:31:33.620 That will sponsor the seminarians and the sisters to become true Catholic priests.
00:31:40.520 True Catholic priests.
00:31:42.860 True Catholic nuns.
00:31:44.200 As it was before the changes, I'll be the happiest person. 0.99
00:31:49.000 I will die. 0.94
00:31:49.940 I will die in peace. 0.98

00:32:53.380 They need to stand with people like you.
00:32:55.960 And, I mean, they need to be courageous.
00:32:58.380 I'm sorry to say this, but I think American Catholics, I thought, I used to think they read a lot.
00:33:05.380 But with this information they are getting about the deep church and the deep state, why are they not responding?
00:33:12.120 Probably they are responding, but they should be convinced. 0.94
00:33:16.840 They should stop being cowards.
00:33:19.140 They should support you. 0.70
00:33:20.300 They should support Tala Martial.
00:33:22.700 They should support, I mean, those of you who are pushing this thing forward because you have done a lot of expositions.
00:33:31.420 You have exposed the current happenings in the church.
00:33:35.380 The alphabet, they call them the alphabets now.
00:33:37.880 They have taken almost everything.
00:33:41.200 So I look up to America as a blessing of hope for the Catholic faith.
00:33:46.840 So American Catholics should be strong.
00:33:49.760 They are on the right course.
00:33:51.880 These people are antichrists.
00:33:55.160 They are antichrists.
00:33:57.000 They want Christ to be dethroned.
00:33:59.520 They have uncrowned him, as Marcel Lefeb said.
00:34:02.600 So we cannot see that happening.
00:34:05.320 In our country, it's almost happening.
00:34:08.060 It's almost happening.
00:34:09.760 So it's a battle.
00:34:11.660 We are in a battle.
00:34:13.800 The city of God and the city of Satan.
00:34:16.640 So we need to take a decision now.
00:34:19.360 Why is there still time?
00:34:20.380 We need to join our lady in her army to bring about the restoration.
00:34:26.380 So I want American Catholics to be strong and bring forth the true Catholic faith and morals to the people.
00:34:34.140 Because that is the only thing that can save the people now.
00:34:38.460 You know, I told my bishop when I was taking the decision that my soul is involved.
00:34:44.160 So I tell every single person who comes to me that the soul is involved.
00:34:50.680 And so we are fighting for the restoration of the soul.
00:34:54.240 Christ has already paid the price.
00:34:56.720 And so we are bound to ensure that that salvation is given to them.
00:35:01.520 So for us here, we are gingered up to see that we bring about the restoration of the soul.
00:35:07.240 So Americans should please support every traditional group and support Lifestyle News
00:35:13.020 to bring about the reality of the restoration of the soul.
00:35:17.220 Because many souls are on their way to hell.
00:35:20.160 Because there are no ones to pray for them.
00:35:21.740 A lady of Fatima.
00:35:22.940 Absolutely beautiful, Father Samuel.
00:35:24.660 Any final words for us?
00:35:27.060 Pray for us and tell the good woman up there in heaven that we are her children.
00:35:36.260 We are children.
00:35:37.260 And, you know, I tell my friend, Cecilia Beverly, Alexander Clark, the one that linked us with you.
00:35:44.560 I say to her that the soul is so godly that no soul should go to hell.
00:35:51.040 We look forward to the triumph of the immaculate hearts and the reign of the sacred hearts in the hearts of men.
00:35:58.840 It's going to happen.
00:35:59.960 I am optimistic on this.
00:36:03.200 And I know it's going to happen.
00:36:04.960 So everyone who has opted for Christ at this particular era of general apostasy should not lose hope.
00:36:14.160 Should not lose hope.
00:36:16.100 They call it in Latin,
00:36:18.240 The struggle continues.
00:36:23.540 And victory is set in.
00:36:25.380 Because on Calvary, Christ said,
00:36:27.440 It is finished.
00:36:29.040 So we are on the winning side.
00:36:32.760 We are on the winning side.
00:36:34.740 Victory is set in.
00:36:36.760 So forward ever to heaven, backward never to hell.
00:36:41.460 We shall have our victory.
00:36:44.080 The immaculate heart will triumph and the sacred heart will reign.
00:36:48.140 That is why we are dedicated to the immaculate heart and the sacred hearts.
00:36:51.860 And that's why, Father, we will be supporting you.
00:36:55.020 Thank you so much for being with us.
00:36:56.780 Thank you very much.
00:36:57.680 God bless you, Father.
00:36:59.400 Thank you so much for being with us.
00:37:01.400 Thank you so much for being with us, Father.
00:37:03.220 And I will be with you.
00:37:03.920 Thank you so much for being with us, Father.
00:37:05.220 Amen.
00:37:07.140 God bless you, Father.
00:37:08.120 And so if you'd like to support Father Samuel and the great work that he's doing there to bring the traditional Mass to Nigeria,
00:37:15.960 and please pray for him.
00:37:18.140 There's also a LifeFunder set up for him at LifeFunder.com.
00:37:23.120 You'll see that, and it's in the link below.
00:37:25.940 May God bless you.
