00:27:04.780 Tell us a little bit about what you did in organizing, how that came about.

00:27:13.880 It was multiple groups who figured out how to work together.
00:27:17.140 You know, non-Catholics, we came together, had our Zoom meetings and coordinated people.

00:27:24.400 And lo and behold, we got this thing.

00:27:27.740 And this event was done without the structural support of the faces of the church, right?

00:27:36.800 So right or wrong, we went ahead and the word spread and people felt drawn by the Spirit to show up.

00:29:19.840 One thing about Terry Barber is, as you can see, he's a man of little stature.

00:29:32.740 And what did you see in it to start when the idea came about?
00:29:35.480 Well, this idea came from Johnny Romero.

00:29:40.540 we need to do something about this atrocity.
00:29:43.240 I said, yes, we do.
00:29:43.860 We had already been encouraging people to send letters, emails,
00:29:48.800 call people on our Virgin Most Powerful Radio show.
00:29:52.480 And, you know, we said, what else can we do?
00:29:54.100 Well, when Johnny said, let's do some kind of prayer vigil of reparation.
00:29:59.440 I said, you count us in. Let's do it.
00:30:01.240 So we went down and got the permit from the L.A. city.

00:31:57.360 It's been exciting and nerve-wracking, but it has been a battle.
00:32:01.540 It has not been without its challenges.
00:32:03.600 In the days leading up to the protests, we have gotten a lot of incidents involving spiritual warfare,
00:32:09.840 discord within our families, just moments of despair, questioning our motives,
00:32:15.600 and just things where we kind of began to feel like it wasn't always a good idea to stand in front of Dodger Stadium and protest.
00:32:22.880 But rising above that was the biggest challenge for us because, you know, as Catholics, you know,
00:32:29.260 you want to believe that you're doing the right thing.
00:32:31.080 But when you're silent, it's just as bad as doing evil.
00:32:35.300 And so I realized that a lot of the things that I was experiencing, these doubts,
00:32:39.820 were actually largely because we were doing something very good.
00:32:44.340 So in the days leading up, we had to fight against those thoughts.
00:32:48.220 And, you know, even within our own leadership, we've had issues where, you know, things weren't working out.
00:32:54.960 Like we had to deliver things on time.
00:32:56.580 And we got bumped from the cathedral to the lot 13.
00:33:00.680 It was really stressful on everybody, and a lot of people started to lose faith.
00:33:05.360 And some people even dropped out.
00:33:07.420 And by the grace of God, we had over 3,000 people there from what I could see.
00:33:13.820 So we didn't have a lot of counter-protesters.
00:33:17.800 We did have some people over there.
00:33:19.440 One person actually literally said,
00:33:22.140 I would rather spend 400 years in hell than to miss a Dodgers game.
00:33:26.040 And you can obviously tell that there's just some disconnect from reality there.
00:33:31.440 So, I mean, obviously, when you have all these demonic obsessions
00:33:35.140 and these oppressions coming after you, logic is going to go right out the door.
00:33:39.160 And, you know, we just have to pray for these people.
00:33:41.920 I mean, obviously, they need prayers.
00:33:43.440 That's the most important thing.
00:33:44.880 So it was really necessary for us to do the rally.
00:33:47.320 And in spite of all the difficulties we faced, it was very successful.

00:34:40.520 When God is insulted, when the beliefs of any of our neighbors are ridiculed, it diminishes all of us.
