Rome is where the fight is happening. In the last few months, we ve seen Father James Martin granted a private audience, and the LGBT pilgrimage into two Roman basilicas, one right here in Rome. We ve seen a raft of appalling Episcopal appointments to dioceses around the world, but there s one outrage that s touched more people than any other. Just weeks ago, the Vatican issued a doctrinal note rejecting the Marian titles, co-redemptrix and mediatrix of all graces.

00:00:00.000 Hello my dear friends. I'm speaking to you today as you can see from Rome. That's right, right here
00:00:07.820 in the Eternal City. And right now this is the most dangerous battleground for the souls of the
00:00:13.020 Church. Confusion is spreading everywhere from here. The truth is attacked. The faithful are
00:00:19.740 pushed aside while sins that cry to heaven for vengeance are welcomed right here into St. Peter's
00:00:25.540 Basilica. And those who seek to dismantle Catholic doctrine are working openly, confidently, and
00:00:33.220 without fear of resistance. That's why LifeSite News must be right here in Rome right now. Our presence
00:00:41.680 here is under threat. And before I tell you why, let's begin as you always do with the sign of the
00:00:46.680 cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Ghost. Amen. Rome is where the fight is
00:00:54.840 happening. Let me remind you of what we are up against. In the last few months we've seen Father
00:01:01.500 James Martin granted a private audience and the LGBT pilgrimage into two Roman basilicas. One
00:01:10.200 right here. We've seen Leo XIV directly talk as if the Church's teachings can change. Ecumenical
00:01:19.760 prayer meetings, even with King Charles, the head of the Church of England. And we've seen a raft of
00:01:26.680 appalling Episcopal appointments to dioceses around the world. But there's one outrage that's touched
00:01:35.000 more people than any other. Just weeks ago, the Vatican issued a doctrinal note rejecting the Marian
00:01:42.420 titles, co-redemptrix and mediatrix of all graces. These titles are grounded in centuries of Catholic
00:01:50.720 devotion, theology, and liturgical life. This note approved personally by Leo XIV didn't really
00:01:59.300 discourage these titles. It framed them as theologically unhelpful, confusing, and even
00:02:07.180 always inappropriate. The Vatican, it seems, has no room at the inn this Christmas for the co-redemptrix 1.00
00:02:15.060 and mediatrix of all graces. It sent her away, just as she and St. Joseph were once sent away to the
00:02:23.360 stable where the farm animals were kept. Satan must have been laughing when that document was published.
00:02:29.740 He knows that he will be crushed under Our Lady's Immaculate heel, and he hates her for it. It is true 0.99
00:02:38.180 that probably in the face of the massive backlash his document provoked, Cardinal Tucho Fernandez,
00:02:47.580 whose document it was, backtracked a little bit, saying that Catholics that understand these titles
00:02:54.080 and what they mean, they could sort of carry on using them privately so long, I guess, as no one
00:03:00.900 else hears or something like that. But this whole scandal confirms what Father David Nix told LifeSite
00:03:09.340 News when it happened. He said, the modernists despise Mary. It also shows us exactly how modernists
00:03:18.940 operate. They silence the truths that offend them. They then rewrite the faith through ambiguous language
00:03:27.000 or dodgy footnotes, introducing practical or pastoral steps that run counter to the doctrine, like communion
00:03:36.840 for the divorced and remarried or blessings and pilgrimages for homosexuals. And then they marginalize anyone 0.98
00:03:45.100 who refuses to comply. And we've seen this whole playbook unfold before our very eyes.
00:03:52.840 So I'll say it plainly. This whole plan is how they're coming for your faith and the faith of your
00:04:01.080 children. And it's happening right here in the Eternal City, where LifeSite News is standing between
00:04:08.840 them and you and fighting to keep our foothold. I was here on the ground for the conclave that elected
00:04:16.300 Robert Cardinal Prevost in May. And in a video walking through the streets of Rome, LifeSite News was one
00:04:23.880 of the first outlets to raise the alarm about what is now undeniable to everyone. I'm right here now at
00:04:31.580 LifeSite News' Grown Life Forum, a gathering that has since 2014 upheld Catholic truth in the very city where the truth is being attacked on a daily basis.
00:04:45.640 The catastrophic loss of faith in the 20th century happened in part because the Catholic in the pew had less access to the truth of what was happening right here in Rome and in the rest of the Church.
00:05:00.920 Leaving them at the mercy of the Judas priests who dismantled the religion of their childhood. 0.95
00:05:08.980 We're not going to let it happen again. And now it is different. In the last few decades, it's all changed.
00:05:17.380 Thanks to internet outlets like LifeSite News, Catholics can know what is happening, can arm themselves against the maneuvering
00:05:25.920 of the modernists, and fight back against error with the truth. And that's what this conference is all about.
00:05:33.900 And we have an amazing set of people here. We've got Fr. David Nix,
00:05:38.180 lawyer Liz Yore, as well as Dr. Patrick Castle, the president and founder of LifeRunners.
00:05:43.640 Rachel Maria Mastrogiacomo, who is a victim of clergy abuse. Frank Wright is here from Faith and Reason.
00:05:52.240 And we've also been joined by no less than Bishop Marian Eleganti from Switzerland.
00:05:59.280 LifeSite News has committed to making Rome Life Forum free.
00:06:03.220 Because at a time of confusion and despair, faithful Catholics need clarity.
00:06:09.800 But the costs are very high. And the stakes are higher than ever.
00:06:15.840 That's because Rome Life Forum isn't just another conference.
00:06:19.100 It really matters. And has a massive impact.
00:06:23.020 And over the years, the impact is incredible.
00:06:25.640 Let me tell you about three different times.
00:06:28.880 In 2017, the now-deceased Cardinal Kefara revealed Sister Lucy of Fatima's message
00:06:37.540 at the Rome Life Forum, the one where he said,
00:06:41.020 we are living the final battle for marriage and the family.
00:06:45.560 The final battle, he said, between Christ and the Antichrist.
00:06:50.800 And he said that he felt that that battle is on right now, as of 2014,
00:06:59.040 the launch of the Extraordinary Synod on the Family, which led to Amoris Laetitia.
00:07:03.600 In 2018, Archbishop Vigano was at Rome Life Forum.
00:07:08.280 And he listened as Bishop Athanasius Schneider and I urged bishops to take action.
00:07:13.920 And just months later, he published his bombshell testimony at LifeSite News about Cardinal McCarrick.
00:07:23.120 In 2023, Bishop Strickland made headlines worldwide right here at LifeSite's Rome Life Forum,
00:07:32.780 warning about Pope Francis and against the Synod on Synodality.
00:07:37.540 Days later, Pope Francis removed him from his diocese.
00:07:42.040 The bad actors in the Vatican know that we are here, and they're not happy about it.
00:07:47.960 However, none of this is a surprise.
00:07:51.380 For years, LifeSite News has been a full-time thorn in their side.
00:07:57.280 We've asked the hard questions and held the powerful to account.
00:08:01.420 Our LifeSite News reporters have reported on every major event in Rome
00:08:05.340 since the start of the Synod on the Family in 2014 to the conclave in May and up to this very moment.
00:08:13.260 LifeSite, your news agency, has broken major Vatican stories
00:08:17.680 and made LifeSite News the go-to source for all Church news,
00:08:22.540 including the recent documents about Our Lady, monogamy, and the Filioque.
00:08:27.820 We've directly questioned Pope Francis, such as about suppressing the Latin Mass,
00:08:33.100 only to receive cold dismisses.
00:08:35.740 Many Vatican prelates become visibly irritated when they realize that they're speaking to a LifeSite News journalist.
00:08:42.680 Some have told us off face-to-face, and others threatened us with lawsuits.
00:08:48.380 But most just give the cold shoulder.
00:08:50.400 Our presence in Rome must continue.
00:08:53.560 Rome is where decisions are made and where the truth is being daily trampled underfoot.
00:08:59.820 And right now, we are at risk of losing our Rome presence entirely.
00:09:04.240 If we fail, Rome Life Forum will be forced to cut speakers in the future,
00:09:08.200 or worse, be cancelled altogether.
00:09:11.020 Our investigative Catholic coverage will shrink
00:09:13.480 at the very moment when the Church needs it most.
00:09:17.200 Our physical presence in Rome could collapse entirely.
00:09:22.120 And that is precisely what the modernists want.
00:09:25.360 And that's where you come in.
00:09:27.400 Your support right now will determine whether we can hold the line in Rome.
00:09:32.060 $500 could keep our Rome reporting alive
00:09:34.640 and strengthen our coverage of Vatican News and doctrinal demolition.
00:09:39.680 $1,000 could protect Rome Life Forum from cuts.
00:09:43.160 $5,000 or more secures our continued presence in Rome.
00:09:48.240 If you believe Christians deserve the truth, 1.00
00:09:51.460 even when ruthless forces want its silence,
00:09:54.660 please act now.
00:09:56.600 There's a link to the donate page in the description below.
00:09:59.860 Generous donations of $50, $100, and $250
00:10:03.280 are the backbone of LifeSite News' work defending life, faith, family, and freedom.
00:10:09.940 They can make the difference between the truth being proclaimed
00:10:12.900 and the truth being suppressed.
00:10:15.500 And that can make the difference between our children keeping the faith
00:10:19.280 and being saved,
00:10:21.240 or losing it
00:10:22.220 and being lost forever.
00:10:24.040 Our sacrificial gifts of $500, $1,000, or $10,000
00:10:28.820 can help us build even stronger walls of defense
00:10:33.380 for the beauty of the Christian religion.
00:10:36.520 These kinds of donations have saved LifeSite News' mission in the past,
00:10:40.920 and they can do so again today.
00:10:43.960 Like I said, the donate link is in the description below.
00:10:47.200 Friends, the battle line is right here,
00:10:50.500 and the time is right now.
00:10:52.800 While Marian devotion is being diluted,
00:10:55.500 the traditional Latin mass suppressed,
00:10:58.020 LGBT pilgrimage being invited right here
00:11:01.280 to the Holy Basilicas of Rome,
00:11:03.400 and faithful priests and bishops are being sidelined,
00:11:07.220 LifeSite News is still here.
00:11:10.080 We will not abandon Rome.
00:11:11.920 We will not abandon our uncompromisingly Catholic coverage 0.74
00:11:15.580 in defense of the faith and the natural moral law.
00:11:19.100 But we cannot remain without you.
00:11:21.500 And I want to be plain with you.
00:11:23.580 If we fail to raise that $500,000
00:11:26.040 needed to secure our operations in Rome,
00:11:29.760 the consequences are immediate.
00:11:32.380 Our presence in Rome will evaporate,
00:11:34.300 our operations will wither,
00:11:36.180 our dedicated pro-life, pro-family team will shrink.
00:11:39.400 Our ability to report real Vatican news,
00:11:42.480 not the optimistic and comforting dreams
00:11:45.640 that those controlling the narrative want you to read will die.
00:11:50.160 And what is almost the only Catholic media outlet
00:11:53.740 willing to confront corruption in Rome
00:11:56.320 may be forced to step back.
00:11:58.980 The Vatican apparatus here,
00:12:00.860 which is seeking to destroy your faith
00:12:02.780 and that of your children,
00:12:04.640 has no such financial concerns.
00:12:06.480 If you want LifeSite News to remain on the ground in Rome,
00:12:10.140 to expose the truth,
00:12:12.560 defend the faith,
00:12:14.020 and give a voice to the faithful,
00:12:16.600 please give today.
00:12:18.780 May God bless you, my friends.
00:12:19.820 And please pray for the church.
