00:00:48.320 Maybe this is it, but it is tough, slog, no matter how you look at it.

00:00:52.480 So to get the answer to that question, I wanted to ask who I consider one of the tough guys

00:00:59.320 in terms of the Catholic podcasting world, in terms of, forget the Catholic podcasting,

00:01:10.560 guy in many senses of the word. He was a police officer in LA County. He was also a world

00:01:18.240 police boxing champion. And he has spent the last decades swinging it out to defend the church,

00:01:56.540 times, especially for the church. I'm saddened to see a lot of what's going on, not only from

00:02:03.000 the officialdom, which seems to always come out with something new and distressing, but it's also

00:02:08.660 sort of the shepherd has been struck, the sheep are scattered. There's so much infighting right

00:02:13.100 now. And it's really becoming a struggle as to how to survive, how to thrive in your faith.

00:02:19.820 The book of 2 Maccabees chapter 15 calls us to be joyful warriors. How do you become a joyful

00:02:26.600 warrior? Really, John, the Christian life is very simple. And our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew

00:02:33.880 chapter 6, from verses 25 to 34, worth reading, he gives us the program on how to be a joyful

00:05:10.180 the whole SSPX thing and all of that, people are being forced to answer difficult questions

00:05:16.760 about the mass they attend and why sometimes they won't attend. How do you deal with such things?

00:05:24.080 As Catholics, this is a family feud, first of all. And we've been having family feuds in the

00:05:30.580 Catholic Church since the Council of Jerusalem in Acts chapter 15. So this is nothing new.

00:14:58.300 issues. What are we supposed to do when there's even family strife on the issue? How are we

00:15:04.780 supposed to come to where are we to go? And so now you're dealing with your domestic church, 0.99
